M&M Soul Food, more shut down by the health department for cockroaches | Eater Vegas

"Shut down on July 17 after inspectors found a multi-generational cockroach infestation and multiple unsafe practices: staff cracked raw eggs with bare hands without washing, buckets of raw meats were stored beneath a hand sink, and cooked meats and hominy were stored on the floor. Overall it was a good experience, the food was good, the aguas frescas could have been better. When we visited it was only 1 waiter for the place. Its not big, not a lot of customers but we had to wait for a while for everything (refills, anything additional and the check).

I liked this place actually. The server seemed a bit new or not totally sure of the menu, but even with a table full of Mexican family she had trouble explaining some of the dishes. The Platanos Fritos was good too.

Went to las vegas to visit my niece.Asked her where she wanted to go for breakfast.She picked this place wasn't impressed, but she had a good time.That's all that mattered

Food is overpriced I Ordered the chicken enchiladas and the “sauce” looked more like gravy and tasted like garlic sauce only 2 enchiladas, the rice was not cooked all the way waiter never came by to check up on us or offer refills i had to go look for them to ask for the check left restaurant still hungry because I didn’t even finish half the food. I wouldn’t recommend this place next time id rather wait in line at the mariscos el mariachi which is next door.

Came here thinking it would be a good place to have a nice lunch. But the service is so bad and makes everyone uncomfortable. Once we were seated I said ok maybe the food is good we had fish tacos and we're soggy and tasteless. Also order a shrimp empanada and it was over fried and no flavor on the shrimp finally we had the molcajete it was a very good size but again no flavor some kind of sauce in it but didn't taste like anything.

I ordered the fry fish. No taste 1 lemon for a big fish. The witnesses were to busy talking and forgot about us. No refills on our drinks. Price was high for just a piece of fish. No salad. Too hot in the place. Bathroom is too small for a wheelchair .
