La Catrachita Taqueria

Ordered barría tacos with ramen. Everything was good but I will say the noodles was overcooked and mushy but considering the heat of the liquid it continues cooking the noodles.. I ordered online and food was done quick.

Since they opened this week I've had the chance to have both the regular and breakfast tacos and I can't recommend them enough. I've lived by this intersection for some time now and have tried every restaurant on 9th street and, as far as tacos go, theirs are just as good or better than all of them. Their tacos may be about $1-2 more expensive than some other locations but I felt the quality of the ingredients, preparation, and amount of food more than made up for the price difference. I've had the campechano, tinga, veggie, and breakfast tacos now as well as several juices and I am very impressed with everything and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. I watched every day just how much work they put into rehabilitating a run-down and previously failing (as long as I can remember) store, turning it into a perfect addition to a bright and bustling block and I am so happy to see a business like this open in this specific location. They still have some things to iron out and fix but I trust that they will. I wish them nothing but success and I will be a regular customer!

The onion of the tacos was to big. After all is good is just the lady on the register is fine but the place was empty and is to long for waiting for food

Not even God could’ve prepared me for the experience that was the birria burrito. They don’t have a public bathroom so you might want to bring your own portable hand washing system and a change of clothes. Maybe a priest. 10/10

Comimos quesabirrias con birria ramen! Las quesabirrias bien rellenas de carne! El birria ramen con muy poco caldo, yo no se si lo hacen así porque la gente prefiere tener más carne que caldo, pero se me hizo complicado! En cuestión de sabor, pues muy rico todo! Las aguas frescas algo caras pero con buen sabor. El servicio bueno, aunque había una mujer aborrecida en la esquina del counter, pero todos los demás muy amables! La atmósfera algo incomoda, las sillas plegadizas y las mesitas de patio redondas dificulta tener dos platos de foam abiertos al mismo tiempo! En resumen, la comida muy buena!
