My go-to spot for Mexican food in Philly and they’re open 24/7! Their birria tacos are easily some of the best in town, super cheesy, flavorful, and juicy. Definitely try the shrimp and chicken birria, both are🔥. The real sleeper here is the Torta Cubana, you haven’t lived until you’ve had it at least once 😭. Portion size, flavor, and texture are all on point. Service is always friendly, and the fresh juice options are great, the passion fruit is my favorite. Don’t skip dessert either, we tried an Oreo strawberry cake, and it was surprisingly delicious! If you’re craving authentic Mexican food in Philadelphia that hits every time, this place is a must-visit.

First time trying La catrachita and it was great. This place is 24 hours which I thought was a plus especially for a night out on the weekend. It’s super spacious inside, they offer seating along the walls and outdoor seating. We ordered birria tacos w consome and birrira tacos w ramen. The broth was okay it was not flavorful at all. I was expecting a burst of flavors as I tried the soup but it was none sadly. The birrira tacos were good but as you bite into the middle, the meat inside of the taco was dry. I just felt like it needed more seasoning to give it some flavor. The star of the show was the watermelon Fresca it was soooooo good and refreshing. It was a bit pricey but def fulfilling.

Veggie burrito had no rice or beans. I asked for it to have no cheese or sour cream, I didn’t even say vegan. It’s literally peppers and broccoli in tortillas that make the west coast cry for $15. Don’t bother. Get the cheese sandwich from Genos next door. Sadness. Wawa had better tortillas. I used to live in Tucson, so if you haven’t had real Mexican food maybe this is good, but for the price and protein ratio Chipotle is a better deal.

We were having a big debate on what to have for dinner, my wife find this place last minute and......let me tell you it was worth it the food was delicious very nice place to eat aguas frescas won't disappoint you definitely recommend you to stop by and give them a try you won't regret plus they are open 24/7. La comida esta sabrosa no te arrepentiras 100% recomendable

I really wanted to give the viral social media tacos a try. They were quite good, and honestly, they were a little different in taste from the tacos I'm used to back home in California. California is still #1 😂😂😂 love ya tho XOXO

I waa sold when I heard the "best tavos I ever had" to add a place my places to eat especially for tacos. Plus it's open 24 hrs! It was a long day and were up at 11pm eating at least one. I love the fact there is a choice of street style or california style. I did the shrimp, grilled chicken, and al pastor street style. Steak, chicken, and sausage california. The tacos are filled so 3 tacos are enough to save for the next day. We cannot wait to go back and try the birria tacos and birria ramen.

Ordered barría tacos with ramen. Everything was good but I will say the noodles was overcooked and mushy but considering the heat of the liquid it continues cooking the noodles.. I ordered online and food was done quick.

Since they opened this week I've had the chance to have both the regular and breakfast tacos and I can't recommend them enough. I've lived by this intersection for some time now and have tried every restaurant on 9th street and, as far as tacos go, theirs are just as good or better than all of them. Their tacos may be about $1-2 more expensive than some other locations but I felt the quality of the ingredients, preparation, and amount of food more than made up for the price difference. I've had the campechano, tinga, veggie, and breakfast tacos now as well as several juices and I am very impressed with everything and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. I watched every day just how much work they put into rehabilitating a run-down and previously failing (as long as I can remember) store, turning it into a perfect addition to a bright and bustling block and I am so happy to see a business like this open in this specific location. They still have some things to iron out and fix but I trust that they will. I wish them nothing but success and I will be a regular customer!
