La Catrina in St. Louis delivers on all fronts. The food is bursting with authentic flavor, the drinks are strong and creative, and their double-deck patio is hands-down one of the best in the city. Whether you’re out for a casual lunch or a lively night out, the atmosphere is always vibrant, welcoming, and fun. The staff is attentive, and the overall experience keeps you coming back. Perfect spot for great eats, great drinks, and unbeatable patio vibes.

The menu is impressively diverse: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and enchiladas are truly a sight to behold. The aromas of spices tantalize our senses, promising a rich flavor. We ordered carnitas tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The presentation was excellent, and the portions were generous. The taco meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned with a perfect blend of spices. The quesadilla also delighted with its filling and crispy crust. The service was fast and attentive. The waiters were always ready to help with your selection and offer advice. The prices are quite reasonable, considering the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Overall, this is a great place for lovers of Mexican cuisine. Here you can sample authentic dishes, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a wonderful time. I will definitely come back! I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the real Mexico.

First I drove over 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes to get home only to realize they only got half my order right. I ordered BIRRIA TACOS and they gave me Carnitas with green sauce. When I called to ask about it the guy on the phone was rude and told me the carnitas were the birria tacos. I’ve never seen Birria tacos with no cheese and no consume. Does this look like Birria tacos??

This restaurant felt dangerous and uncomfortable. The surrounding area did not feel safe at all. While dining, nearby customers were drunk, loud, and behaving in a way that made us uneasy. The staff did nothing to control the situation, which made the experience feel even more unsafe. Because of the environment and lack of management, I would strongly advise caution before visiting.

Google
Outstanding! Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. The food was fabulous. The corn chips were served warm with an excellent salsa. Both of our dishes were delicious and very flavorful. The service was absolutely incredible! The place was busy (late Saturday evening December 23rd) and absolutely everyone in this place was working hard and fast with an amazing attitude. All the staff we encountered was courteous, polite, had clean outfits, and extremely efficient! Amazing team work. We will absolutely come back!

Google
First of all at any Mexican if the chips and salsa aren't good I wont be back..their's was excellent! Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was very good and the prices were great.I highly recommend this restaurant..I live out of town or I would he there often!

Google
Ordered carry from here and the queso and tortillas were not put in the bag. The manager refused to refund the missing items, saying he personally packed the bag and was certain everything was in there. I was given the ultimatum of driving the 15 minutes back in 5 degree weather or taking the loss. Sad that they would take this stance over $7 worth of food. Plus the food was cold except the tortilla soup which was actually quite good.

Google
A wonderful place with great food and atmosphere. We love finding Mexican restaurants with molcajete. This one is just perfect for two people share and to not have too much left over. The spicy salsa was very good. We would absolutely return.

Yelp
Visited La Catrina for dinner a couple weeks back. It was a Friday night about 7:30. It's located on South Hampton in St. Louis Hills neighborhood. They were quite busy. Very loud inside, so we opted to wait for a table outside. Wait was about 30 minutes, They sat us on the patio (they also have an upper deck). It was loud but not nearly as loud as inside, even with the Hampton traffic ten feet away. Our server came quickly and took our drink order. A moment later chips and salsa arrived. The salsa and chips were both great. Chips fresh. Salsa fresh, flavorful, and mild. My date ordered the Quesadilla Catrina and I ordered the Burrito Catrina with steak. I also chose a green chili sauce instead of the more popular cheese sauce. Both were excellent. Good flavors that made you want to keep eating. The quesadillas were great with plenty of shrimp and cheese. Grilled shrimp spiced well. Not fancy but very good. My steak burrito was well balanced with plenty of steak, rice beans pico de gallo, and french fries. The steak was chopped a bit too much and would have been better and juicier in slightly larger pieces. The fries in the burrito were a bit odd? I get they wanted to add filler but it is an unusual choice for a burrito. The green chili sauce was really good and had a nice spice to it but wasn't too fiery. more pico de gallo would have been nice. Such a minute amount left you needing more. All in all it was quite good. Had to pick out some of the fries . . . Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen. Some better than others and some a disappointment. La Catrina is a winner, I rank it above most in St. Louis. Good atmosphere and great vibe. It's a happening vibe. I recommend

Yelp
La Catrina - Come for the Drinks, Stay for the Vibes, Forget What You Ate So here's the deal: I came to La Catrina hungry and left happy-ish, but also slightly tipsy and weirdly emotional about how great the bartender was. Let's break this down. THE FOOD: It's... fine. Solid. Reliable. The kind of food that says, "Hey, I showed up," but doesn't exactly text you the next morning. I had the enchiladas. They were tasty but didn't whisper secrets of ancient abuelas into my soul. My friend had the tacos and said, "These are good!" with the same tone you use when someone gets bangs and you're being polite. THE BAR: Let me tell you--this bar is the Beyoncé of the whole operation. The margaritas? Straight-up emotional support beverages. I had a jalapeño one that made me believe in second chances. The bartender? Flawless. Funny, fast, and probably licensed in therapy. I'd go back just to watch them make drinks like it's Cirque du Soleil with tequila. THE SERVICE: Top-tier. Like, should teach a master class in "How to Make People Feel Seen While Balancing Three Tables and a Mojito Shaker." Our server was kind, attentive, and somehow managed to keep my water full without me noticing. That's sorcery. THE VIBE: Colorful. Lively. Enough Día de los Muertos decor to make your Instagram pop and your grandma say, "Is this a party or a shrine?" It's definitely a place you come to have fun, not just eat.

Yelp
They say you can't judge a book by its cover but you can judge a Mexican restaurant by its salsa. I fancy myself as a salsa snob and I don't know if there is a more consistently executed recipe than the salsa at La Catrina. Dale Doback once referred to Brennan Huff's vocal talent as a mixture of Fergie and Jesus, I for one would refer to this salsa as a mixture of your grandmothers secret recipe and the Mona Lisa. Perfect, some say. Or as our friends south of the boarder say, Perfecto. My prompt here tells me to discuss service and ambiance.. while both of them were well above great, the one thing that will get me return is the salsa. Everyone asks, Jordan or LeBron? Who cares, I want to know your favorite table salsa and anyone who says anything but La Catrina is WRONG. Non salsa bullet points - Pina Colada taste like a Jimmy Buffet album - Chips are the perfect thin/crisp ratio - Patio could have more fans but the salsa will distract that downfall - The house made hot sauce will put hair on your chest - A breakfast burrito would do numbers there - Parking is limited but that's besides rhetorical point - Could use a touch tunes machine (unless there's one in there and I haven't seen, then I apologize) - Have and will be back 4.992/5.00 (-.01 because there is no coronaritta, but again SALSA)

Yelp
Way too long since we have been here, almost 6 months. Sunday afternoon lunch, so warm and comforting in the restaurant on a cold windy day . Birria tacos, chicken tacos, steak tacos, and shrimp enchiladas. Fabulous service, fabulous food, so glad we were able to have lunch today at such an amazing restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
Great vibes and food. Seating inside & a patio out back. Ordered the enchilada suizas, queso & chips, burrito carne asada and kids chicken tenders & fries. Everything came out fast and tasted amazing. Super family friendly spot.

Yelp
We celebrated Mother's Day here together as a family. The chips, salsa and queso were top-notch. Our food was amazing and the margaritas were very delicious! The only day was the service was rather slow with our bar orders (this could've just been because they were understaffed and very busy.) We will be back again!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my friends LOVES this spot, and when I say loves I mean, she takes almost every single date here lol. She recommended we go here while I was in town for her birthday. It's cheap, has several marg options (sizes and flavors), and will do the trick if you have a family or a large group. I could see things getting wild on the weekends for the margs, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the food or drinks!

Yelp
We've been going to La Catrina for about four years. We're not regulars by any means, but we enjoy our meals there! The restaurant has a decent amount of seating. They also have a double decker patio. Their parking lot is small so it's mostly all street parking. We've waited up to an hour for a table before. There isn't really anywhere to wait inside when they're super busy so you typically have to hang around outside. The service is very iffy. This last time it was downright bad. If it weren't for a guy who was not our server helping us, we would have probably left. And they were not busy at all. The grilled chimichangas and fish tacos are my faves! Margaritas aren't too bad either! We'll be back and we'll be hoping for a better server!

Yelp
Great food, kind & friendly service, and the patio is an ideal place to eat and drink with friends. Also, inside is spacious!

Yelp
We went to La Catrina Saturday night and, we can't wait to go back! We only had a 15min wait, also the vibe was amazing with the music, atmosphere! We ordered the Carne Asada Tacos with a Quesadilla Fajita with rice/beans all 10/10! It was super fast, we had a booth with a lot of space since we have a toddler. Our waitress was amazing I wish I remembered her name, the margarita was also great! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
La Catrina never lets me down! Definitely one of my favorite places to get Mexican food in stl. This last visit we had was probably some of the most delicious food I've had there. We came a bit closer to closing time and the staff had no issue seating us and was welcoming- so appreciated! We were seated on their patio outside at one of their large booths. We had a party of about 10 people and it fit us all super well. We ordered drinks first and then ordered queso and our entrees. I got a steak quesadilla and it was perfect! Deliciously cooked, melty cheese, and super filling. Definitely hit the spot! :) thanks la catrina!

Yelp
Went for a late lunch. Food was good, what we expected. Cute decor. Great service and friendly staff.

Yelp
Awesome spot for Mexican food in the Hampton area! You're greeted by very friendly service and complimentary bottomless fresh chips and salsa! We also got the guacamole and queso - both were delicious, loved the guacamole especially. I got the Chimichanga on the Grill with chicken, it was really good and super filling! It came with a generous of rice, refried beans, salad (lettuce, pico), guacamole, and sour cream. Loved it. My friend got the enchiladas and really enjoyed those. The quesadilla was huge and very filling. My other friend got the shrimp taco soup which she really enjoyed! It even came with side tortillas. They have an indoor and outdoor space, overall it was a great experience!

Yelp
Great American-style Mexican food. It's very brightly lit inside and gets loud, but the food is always consistent. Margs are tasty!
google avatar

Chelsey D.

Yelp
The food, service, vibes are always TOP MARKS. We love love love coming here. Patio is beautiful and the service is fast, friendly, and the consistency with the food is brilliant. We have brought out of town family and friends because we have such a great time here. It's 5 stars every time.

Yelp
I decided to drop by for lunch as I wanted some grilled chicken today for lunch. The lunch size fajitas came with three 6" soft flour tortillas, chicken cooked with green & red peppers and onion. The side plate had lettuce avocado refried beans and rice. I couldn't eat all that so I stayed with the beans & cheese topping plus all the chicken & as much veges as I could. I'll point out that I ate at their sister restaurant (El Catrine on Morganford) one meal last week and at La Catrina I got more cheese on my side order of beans than I got at El Catrine on top of a double order of refried beans. And at El C I asked the server, while ordering, to please make sure they covered the beans with cheese. She kinda gave me a look like what?! So it goes without saying that one knows what you mean and I imagine the other ignored it.

Yelp
Not always can you find a place with great food drinks and service but this spot does it every time. Patio during the summer is an added perk

Yelp
First time recommended by friends. lunch was delicious. There were two of us. We ordered different items very happy with the service and the food. Quality of food and price all seemed fair. Plenty of free parking easy to find. Clean well decorated dining area

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! The food was NASTY. The customer service was TERRIBLE. I did not like my food and the manager told me "Well that's not problem. We have never had a complaint before!"
google avatar

Yelp
I love this tried and true restaurant on Hampton. This gem is always packed and the food is always consistent. Even when packed you usually can get seated pretty quickly. The restaurant itself has indoor and outdoor seating and they are always playing some of my favorite Spanish songs. Food: they start you off with chips and salsa and it's always a struggle not to devour them all before the food gets there. I am a fan of their tacos and usually order steak or carnitas. The order of tacos comes with rice and beans and they are so good! Here we decided to try the salmon plate and it was light and refreshing. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and very well cooked. Service: we always have a great time here! The hostess is always warm and welcoming and our servers are really attentive.

Yelp
First time visit! Despite my 3 stars, I have to say, the place has a fun vibe, and it's definitely a popular spot. We arrived on a Friday evening at 5:15, and by 5:30 there was a line at the door. There is an awesome double deck patio outside, and inside funky table decorations, which were fun. The staff were attentive, service was quick, and food was good and decently priced. I had the Molcajete -- a hot stone filled with grilled chicken and steak strips, shrimp, and carnitas, along with grilled peppers, onion, and cactus (that's a first for me!). It came with rice, refried beans, shredded lettuce salad, guac, a couple chunks of warmed cheese sticks, seasoned rice, and choice of tortillas. The carnita meat was excellent and my fave. I definitely had leftovers though - lots of food with that dish! My niece wanted plain hamburger tacos, and we got the La Catrina cheese dip with beef -- really so good! I could eat a ton of that! Everything was nice. I just wasn't blown away by the food. That dip was awesome -- but everything else was ok, not served at the hottest temp, a little heavy on the cooking oil, and almost no ice in my tea. They were busy on a Friday -- so in all transparency I didn't bug the waitress on any of this. But, (as a former waitress, I'll say) if the place is consistency this busy on a popular Friday night dinner rush, maybe be a little more prepared for better food. So, 3 stars. We enjoyed the dinner, and I'd go back / recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood -- especially if you want a good patio. Not sure I'd go out of my way though, even with the fun Day of the Dead vibe.

Yelp
This place doesn't have a parking lot, but plenty of side street and therefore is a slight little walk to get there. It can be busy at times. I came here with a friend tonight and it is such a unique place with bright ambiance. The food is good. Like any Mexican place, free chips and salsa. I ordered a pick two combo and it is good. The food is very filling. Today evening there were seats when I came at 5pm, however people that came afterward does have to stand in line to wait a little while for available seats. I would said to come earlier and not during rush hours to this place.

Yelp
A group of four of us came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We sat inside because it was a little breezy out. But on a beautiful day, they have a wonderful patio where you have options to have a covered spot or open in the sun. The inside is decorated very cute and get you in a festive mood. They have great Hispanic music playing as well. It was a margarita kind of day for all of us. I was happy to see that they offered skinny margaritas. It was pretty tasty. I ordered Arroz Con Pollo which is rice with chicken, cheese sauce, and sautéed vegetables. This is one of my favorite dishes to get here. It has lots of grape flavors in it. After eating a few chips and dip, I only ate about half of my meal and brought the rest home . I'm definitely looking forward to heating it up for lunch tomorrow and making it into a burrito. Our waiter was great. He was very attentive.
google avatar

Debbie H.

Yelp
There is an upstairs outdoor patio but they've never let anyone go up there everytime I've went. The food is good occasionally I've gotten a waiter that didn't understand English too well but it won't prevent me from going back.

Yelp
You've got a good thing going here, La Catrina! I came for the first time on 6/2, and it enjoyed it so much I came back the following week! takeaways : -despite it looking busy, there's always space! I've now come two weeks in a row with no reservation and at "peak times", and have had no issue getting a booth/table. DISCLAIMER: this is applicable for the inside only. Their patio seems to be quite popular and has been full, so you may have to wait for that. - they're great about getting the chips and salsa to your table within seconds of being sat. This made a difference because I was starving! Also, the salsa is flavorful and has the right amount of kick without it being too overpowering. -the portions are nice, the food is flavored and well-seasoned, and it came out in a relatively timely manner. Despite it being busy, the server did a great job of staying on top of refills and was attentive to anything else I may have needed. This place is starting to become one of my favorites and I'm already looking forward to next time!
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed an early dinner on arguably the best patio in south city. The neighborhood is bustling, the patio is inviting and bright with a double deck to look out over the city. The la Catrina margarita is the house margarita, made to order and shaken to perfection. Chips are warm, not too thin and not too thick. Guacamole is fresh and smooth. I had the carnitas plate which was delicious and healthier option with fresh sliced avocado. Our waitress was fast and friendly. We brought the baby and had no issues getting in and out under an hour. Beautiful place with great food (even on a budget!)

Yelp
How did we miss this gem?! Today it became one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in St.Louis. It was packed but we were able to get a table fast on a saturday night. I recommend draft Modelo. Quesadilla Ranchero(mushroom & cheese in it) and Burrito Fajitas(steak, onion & green peppers) were so delicious, came with fast service. There is a nice big patio door, would be great to check out when they open it in summer. What a happy place!

Saint Francisco G.

Yelp
The male individual who answers the phone, is not courteous, won't even give you his name. Gets the order wrong and rushes you off the phone. When you get to the office the order is messed up. We used to order all the time, we stopped ordering they have bad customer service!
google avatar

Yelp
Wowzers! Not much of a Mexican food eater so this spot came as a very pleasant surprise. The decor & overall ambiance was colorful, fun & inviting. There's plenty of space to dine both inside and outdoors. Server was was great; prompt & pleasant. I enjoyed the delicious shrimp tacos which I couldn't finish because I got half full from the complimentary house made tortilla chips & salsa. The regular skinny margarita was decent. Less sugar but also tasted like less alcohol (unless my tolerance is just too high :) Can't wait to return with a group. ~Christy

Yelp
This is the best Mexican restaurant we've been to since we moved here. It's the closest we've been able to get to southern-Americanized-Mexican food, which is basically my comfort food. The queso is amazing, and the salsa is equally amazing, which is not my usual opinion. Everything we've had has been great, including the drinks. Even though it always looks packed, we've never had to wait for a table and always get to choose between inside and outside. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love this place! If you haven't tried one of their new smash burgers yet, you should definitely give them a go. I always have a hard time choosing what to order from their menu. The hotdogs are fantastic, and the fries are great too. Plus, it's all very affordable.
google avatar

Yelp
This little gem was recommended by a friend. We went on a Saturday evening around 5:45. We parked on the street about a block away. We were seated in about 15 minutes. The warm chips were thin and crispy and the salsa was good. We ordered the guacamole which was delicious. I had beef tacos and my husband had a tamale and tostada. Everything was hot, fresh and flavorful. The prices were great - less than $15 for two items plus beans and rice. Our service was excellent. We will go again! Thanks, Rose, for the suggestion.
google avatar

Yelp
Would not recommend if you are vegetarian or have allergies. I found a piece of steak in my veggie quesadilla, which is really upsetting since I am a long time vegetarian. I brought it to the attention of our server, and they did not care at all. No apologies, just a $2 discount. As this is something that could make me very sick, I don't think it was handled properly. The food was okay, but I will not be back
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
The food is always worth the visit, the staff is great and the margaritas are all so tasty. Love going during warmer days as the outside dining is a lot of fun with friends and family.
google avatar

Nicholas S.

Yelp
What do you look for in a good Mexican restaurant? I look for the basics to be pleased (hot food, not too tough meat, not stale chips) but I come back for the little things. The basic chips, crispy, hot, thin, delightfully salted. The salsa, not too runny, not too spicy. The margs, strong but not over the top sweet. The service, fast & prompt. The decor, unique not completely typical. Overall, so solid. However we come back time and time and time again for the parrillada for two, it is unreal. For $30 you get a strong dinner for two. Every type of meat is flavorful, the veggies perfectly cooked. Great leftovers as well. Highly recommend, certainly the best base line Mexican spot in town and an absolute go to.

Maddie V.

Yelp
Delicious, large portions of food, strong margaritas, and they seated us right away at 7:15 on a Thursday! The waitstaff was quick and attentive. The chips and salsa were delicious!
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
We love this place! Every time we come here we find something new on the menu that's great. Most recent visit we had the enchiladas verdes and the steak tacos and both were great! They have a nice patio for outdoor seating with many of the tables offering shade which is really nice.
google avatar

Kassandra M.

Yelp
I finally made it into La Catrina this weekend and I'll never eat at another Mexican restaurant again, EVER (okay maybe that's impractical). Either way, wow, this is the spot! I live within walking distance so I popped over Saturday night and, with the patio opened up now, there was no wait for my table of two. We had a couple of margs, the catrina fajitas, and the shrimp tacos and we were totally blown away by everything (almost literally, those margs will sneak up on ya ). Our waitress was also super attentive the whole time even though they were quite busy. It's also worth mentioning, the aesthetic is awesome. It has such a great ambience and it's actually much larger than I expected. I will definitely be back as often as possible.

Donna S.

Yelp
Delicious Mexican food. Server was attentive! Kept the chips coming! Loved dining accommodations outside. Our family all enjoyed their meals!
google avatar

Yelp
A staple to the our neighborhood, La Catrina is constantly on the list of options when choosing where to eat. I've been here too many times to count and have always had wonderful service and food. Their patio and deck are a dream on a nice evening, always get so excited when sat "up top". Consistently packed for good reason. I've celebrated a handful of birthdays here and they offer a complementary tequila shot or fried ice cream. Chips and salsa are killer and the Cadillac Margarita is well worth the buzz.
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably one of our favorite non-bougie Mexican restaurants that we love. Parking is a pain... there are roughly four spots in the parking lot and that's about it - you have to overflow onto Hampton or into the neighborhoods where there are a ton of one-ways with parking on both sides. You might end up making quite the trek if they are busy, or evening times when people are home from work and parked in front of their houses. Crossing Hampton with three kids in tow isn't super fun either. We are always sat almost immediately. Service is always friendly and prompt. Never received a wrong order nor a missing item. They have an amazing double-decker outdoor seating area - shade and sun on the bottom - all sun, no cover, on the top. They have a margarita TOWER that you can order at your table (I have literally only seen this on Sunday afternoons when people are Sunday-Fundaying). Their shrimp tacos are amazing and there is this tangy crema they put on them that I want a jar of to take home... to put on my own foods... to make them better. Salsa is good - nice and thin with warm chips. The queso with beans is confusing because the beans are a layer on the bottom and the queso is on the top - you have to dig for it. Variety of margaritas for each type of marg lover (i.e. ones who like specialty flavors, more tangy/lime, top shelf -etc). They have this gargantuan of a molcajete served in a massive black stoneware crock that I see numerous people order every time we go - and I think that's because they know something we don't. Maybe I will have to rectify that next time. Lots of options for kids - they even have a few kid-friendly items for the less adventurous kiddos that are not listed on the menu - just ask. Server was knowledgeable of gluten-free and gluten-containing items for me.

Yelp
It's a vibe at La Catrina! We couldn't have picked a better spot to grab a quick "snack" on a beautiful Saturday. There is plenty of seating on the patio, good service, and great music. All the summer relaxation vibes. Cadillac Margarita- They don't mess around here. The drinks are strong ( as they should be) and tasty. Cheese dip- the consistency was right and there was a little hint of spice which I appreciate. Quesadilla fajita steak- Very impressed with the steak! It was tender. It was Juicy. It was well seasoned. I feel like a lot of restaurants use lower quality meats and/or put little effort into dishes like quesadillas, but that is not the case here! I can't wait to try some more complex dishes!

Yelp
This was our favorite Mexican restaurant out of four that we tried in one week (with Pueblo Solis, Mission Taco, Rosalita's). We were especially hopeful for a decent chile rellano and these were great, as were the chips and salsa! My beef quesadilla was stuffed but not particularly flavorful. The rice and beans were good (but a weird red color, what's with that?). Our margarita was yummy. Service could have been more attentive but the food came out quickly. It was a great night to be sitting out on their patio.

Haley S.

Yelp
La Catrina is usually one of my go to spots for Mexican. But last night we had a horrible experience. Our service was awful. She wasn't attentive at all. She was standing against the wall on her phone and not paying any attention. It took her 10ish mins to even come over to take our order. We asked for water 3 different times before we ever got our water. When our food came out she didn't come back for 20 mins. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my partner ordered a chicken quesadilla and my partners food tasted like some type of chemical. We were gonna ask for it to just be remade but our server did not come back and by the time she did and we told her what happened she did not apologize she just walked away. Some other server came by to see what was wrong and he didn't apologize either and we explained to him everything that happened. All they did was take it off the bill, the energy was awful and just weird and they stared at us like we were crazy. I don't know if we'd come back. Also when we were leaving I stopped the hostess and asked for a manager and those girls were soooo nice and actually apologized and cared. They called they manager to tell them what happen. Next time have those girls talk to tables when there's a problem there with no manager.

Yelp
La Catrina is my favorite tex-mex restaurant in STL. Truly, it has everything you want in a modern mexican restaurant. They recently re-did their outdoor patio that now has an elevated deck seating as well. There is a great fireplace when it is a little cooler outdoors. Inside is nice and there is a spacious backroom for groups. The food is all excellent. Their queso is exactly what you want in queso. Spacious booths, complimentary chips and salsa, and excellent entrees. The grilled chimichanga is great! I really liked the catrina alambre as well which is a fish-based dish. Perfect for eating with chips. Overall, you cant go wrong here. The staff are great, the food is excellent, and the margaritas hit the spot.

Yelp
My friends go to rest. Usually the food is fair, but last night the cheese sauce was runny, beans mushy (more like sauce). I mentioned it to the server and he just smiled. He was very attentive and nice. I believe he just didn't know how to respond to my statement. The workers here are so nice & friendly, but the food has changed. The owners opened a breakfast place across the street, I'll try that soon.

Yelp
Very cool decor, bright colors, and party atmosphere. Food and drinks were good but not 4 stars. Outdoor atmosphere looked cool! The cheese dip (white Queso), was good. Chips seemed out of a bag, not hot, and needed salt. I had the tres amigos (steak, chicken, and shrimp). I didn't find a ton of protein, mostly peppers and onions. Wife had a chicken and spinach entree. Everything was pretty good but nothing blew me away. The reason for not 4 stars is the Margs. They were pre-mixed and super sour. Not real lime juice. Service was great. Overall I'd return - they had plenty of seating and would be a place to take a large party. There were several sports teams there on a Saturday night.

Yelp
This place is legit! There seems to always be a short wait, and I can see why. They have a great patio with two levels. Great options for nice weather. My favorite menu item is the parrillada, which is a fajita with a variety of meats. The meat is always cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The margs here are SO good. They are smooth and not overly sweet. I've always had great, efficient service here. The food and drinks come out quickly. The only downside to this place is the parking, but it's definitely worth it!
