"La Cava Jufré is on a calm corner in Villa Crespo, away from the more touristy parts of the city. Cava means wine cellar, and you really will feel like you’re in a basement—in a good way—with dim lighting, antique furniture, and tables gathered close together. This place has been around since 2005, and Lito, the owner, is at the center of the action, dishing out pitch-perfect wine recommendations for any mood or moment. On the food menu, you’ll find cheese plates, tasty empanadas (don't skip the mushroom and leek), and classic desserts like flan, tiramisu, and queso y dulce." - annie bacher

A lot of very good wines. Some small bites to eat. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Súper nice place and seating area outside, but poor service. It’s hard to believe that a wine bar has only 1 wine by the glass per type/color, and very low quality. Lack of knowledge and variety.

Buenos Aires' first wine bar is a must. This corner has been a wine bar for quite a long time, before wine bars were trendy. Everytime I go there is a bottle I do not know and that surprises me. truly amazing wine experience.

Probably one of the best and most familiarly wine bars in South America. Lito, the owner, will help you find the perfect wine for the night and if you're lucky he will start to sing towards the end of the night!

Yelp
Cosy and a little tight when it's full. Good ambiance. Nice choice of wines. Interesting tasting concept (self serve from an automatic wine dispenser using a card) with different serving sizes. Friendly service from Lito (the owner). Good empanadas. Try the dulce de batata (brie cheese with a paste of sweet potato). It's surprising but Goes really well with wines.
