La Cave a Michel - Review - 10th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

"If you want to hang with Parisians, La Cave a Michel is a more suitable wine bar option. The room is basic - it looks a bit like someone’s apartment - and it’ll be full of locals hanging and drinking at the long bar. We particularly like it after a meal at one of the restaurants within walking distance, like Le Grand Bain, or Le Fontaine De Belleville. As the night goes on, the party turns up, and you’ll likely walk into a room full of locals with old school hip hop on the playlist. Syrah and House of Pain pair nicely together." - Chris Stang

Dropped by before dinner. Chilled bar with nice selection of natural wines that the staff can recommend you. I enjoyed the orange wine very much. They were friendly and patient with my partner practicing his French and even poured us shots to commemorate the queens death. Was a lovely start to our evening. Thank you

Easy, relaxed, great service and the wine is beautiful. The simple dishes are made in a little open plan kitchen at the end of the bar. Recommend the steak tartare

Great little wine bar with some small plates. Very small so expect to stand, great atmosphere with french rap in the background. We were offered natural wines, which seems to be the main focus.

I went in on a hot, muggy night and the owner gave me two spectacular and unusual wines that were perfect for the weather. It's a very relaxed place too. Go if you're curious about wine or are very serious about wine.

Unfortunately both of us got pretty bad food poisoning from our meal, seems to be in need of better quality control of the products in the kitchen

Liked this place a lot. Really nices wines and easily the best oeufs mayo I had in Paris. Very good moules as well. I'll come back
