nice atmosphere, friendly owners and a decent wine selection, but after paying £18.50 for the mixed cheese & charcuterie platter, I was a bit shocked to only receive 2 very small slices of cheese and 4 slices of salami. extremely high price considering how little we received, plus no crackers to eat the cheese with - bread was extra. love the idea of this place and nice if you’re just getting wine, but the food is really overpriced.

I had a wonderful time at this spot! They have an excellent wine selection, and I loved that you could taste the wines before deciding. Sitting outside with a glass of wine at the table was such a relaxing experience. The French salchichon was a standout—perfectly paired with the wine and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys great wine and a charming outdoor atmosphere!

This has become the place to get our regular drinking wine. It’s not the full French experience of buying “en vrac” where they fill your container from what looks like a petrol pump but they may no longer do that in France. Update June 2024 We wanted a light supper and this was just right. There is wine of the week by the glass, they offer a 500 ml carafe of house white/rose or red which with a platter makes a light supper. There are also nibbles to go with your drink. A 1L refill is now £11, still our choice. ——- You can buy open wine - red or white at all times and rosé when they have it. They have bottles for sale which you can then take back to have refilled. A litre of red is £10 if you bring your own bottle. Wish we’d known about this before and not just thought it was a wine shop.

£14 for some salami was a bit steep and I was served what tasted like old red Malbec wine ‘of the month’ - mushroomy, leafy and mould notes left a weird taste in my mouth - could of been the glass but then why were we served dirty glasses

We are so lucky to have this absolute gem of a wine shop. Bruno’s knowledge is incredible and his friendly helpful manner just perfect. I don’t know much about Rosé wine and asked for some help. The bottle Bruno recommended; Révélation - Crémant De Limoux Rosé Brut, was fantastic! Well priced crisp, dry and delicious chilled. Made a rare day of British sunshine even better! C’est fantastique !

I had the pleasure of visiting this store whilst on holidays from Australia, and was blown away by the eclectic range of wine on offer, the knowledge and assistance provided by the staff, and the opportunity to enjoy a glass in what was some lovely company at the time. How charming is that good looking rooster, Bruno? Highly recommended!

Such a cozy, stylish place to enjoy a glass of good wine, with a nice selection of wine to buy. The service was excellent, and our little dog had such a warm welcome there too.

Yelp
Lovely little wine shop and bar owned by a french couple who really seem to know their wines. There's a wide selection of wines for all sorts of tastes and they're more than happy to help you choose your perfect bottle. They have the usual whites, reds, rose and of course some delicious bubbly including prosecco. You can also grab a table and do some tasting in the sun before you make your purchase!

Yelp
What a lovely little gem. Mainly French wines these guys import straight from small domaines! They also have a terrace where you can have wine by the glass, glass of the week ... simply great!
