I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Chacra, a fantastic Peruvian restaurant in Brooklyn. The experience was superb from start to finish. The standout dish for me was the Anticucho de Corazón, which was exceptionally flavorful and tender. The portions here are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied and full. The green sauce was a pleasant surprise—perfectly spiced and incredibly tasty, adding an extra kick to the meal.
The service at La Chacra is outstanding. The staff were quick, attentive, and very kind, making sure that all our needs were met promptly. Additionally, the restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organization, creating a comfortable and inviting dining environment. Overall, La Chacra is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Peruvian cuisine with excellent service.

Is this the best Peruvian restaurant I’ve had? No, but it is really good and probably one of the best ones in this neighborhood. The portions are good, prices are good, atmosphere is nice and the staff is incredible and for that, they get 5 ⭐️’s from me. Was celebrating a relatives birthday and asked for a candle with dessert; they went all out! From a cute bottle shaped candle to playing happy birthday in Spanish on the speakers & the two staff present coming out with little instruments and singing along- wow! That alone won my business again! The food was good, fresh and they got everything right. The waitress was very attentive & the bartender made some really good passion fruit margaritas. Thank you for your incredible service- I look forward to returning 🥂

By far, it is one of the best restaurants in NYC. The Ceviche is the dish that speaks for itself. I was in Florida, San Francisco, Washington DC, Virginia, CT, New Jersey, but I never have eaten a Ceviche like it's is done at Chacras!
Chacras, you mixed the flavors perfectly on your Ceviche!

Kept going back and forth between 4 or 5 stars, overall still recommend coming here if you’re looking for some close to authentic Peruvian food in the middle of Brooklyn.
Service is fast and polite, seating and atmosphere is clean and cozy. Perfect for 4 or less and date nights. Menu is a little larger than I would want but they had plenty of good options. Found the rice/beans and chicken to be slightly salty but still good. I like that they have some plantain chips and corn kernels on the table for you to munch on before starting. Definitely try the green sauce on the table, it goes with everything.
Great portion sizes and pricing is also really good for location, quality, and size.

We were waiting on King Kog to fix my bike, so we decided on Peruvian. This place seemed a bit pricey to me but whatever. I gotta say, the food was DELICIOUS and the portions were YUGE. definitely worth the money. The service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was quaint. I gotta give 5 stars here. I’ll be back.
