This past weekend (Saturday), my friends and I walked past the shop and were immediately drawn in by the grey looking empanadas. Coincidentally, right behind us came in a group of around 10 people, all lining up. Meanwhile, the two attendants were counting money at the register. We stood there for around 5 minutes when I finally decided to ask about the empanadas and then order. She interrupted me to let me and everyone else know that they were in the middle of closing that one register to open the second one and wouldn't be able to sell us anything for the next 10 minutes.
In what world would you close the register in the middle of the day, and instead of informing clients as soon as they walk in that they might need to wait 15 minutes, you just let 15 people standing there and ignore them, to only then tell us you won't be selling us. What happened then, you might ask. Every single person left and went somewhere else to eat. Including ourselves. Business must be thriving... 😑
