Little Havana’s modern tribute to the classic colada, with dozens of Cuban coffee recipes and a lively ventanita spirit. Frequently praised by local food writers; a cultural stop that also expanded to Wynwood.

La Colada Gourmet “THE HOUSE OF CUBAN COFFEE”

We stopped into this adorable coffee shop filled with gorgeous pieces of art. We wanted to try a traditional Cuban coffee and the beautiful Miry helped us pick out the perfect coffees. Miry is the sweetest gem and knew immediately that we were tourists and took care to help us find the best coffees. When she delivered the delightful layered coffees she offered to take a picture for us. She has the most infectious smile and energy. We recommend this because the coffee was delicious, but we highly recommend because Mirta made us feel so special.

Upon entering the cafe the waitstaff just look at us and we were profiled. Not even a smile or welcome. Terrible wait staff. Especially the tall white colored guy. I asked what’s in the coffee coz the menu is just up on the green board. He was pissed that he has to tell me what’s in it. Just keep saying its really good and showed attitude.. So end up getting the tres leches and 305. Disgusting coffee not even worth calling it gourmet. The food? We got key lime, flan and rice pudding? Ehhh, Publix has better taste. It’s sad how people come there and boast about how good it is. My family are travellers and we travel around the world to look for the best food in town. This one is just a THUMBS DOWN. Don’t recommend. What is a good atmosphere when the people working are full with attitude and so much negativity?

This is a great place to have coffee at. The venue looks like a coffee shop in Cuba, they roast the coffee in house, you can buy the coffee and express o machines there and the coffee is so delicious. Miry nos recomendó el Havana vieja y el espresso y Que delicia!!! Excelente trato y hasta una fotito nos hizo. El mejor coffee shop de little Havana

This is my first time to vistit Miami and Little Havana. Me and my husband had pretty good time in here. Their coffee(Capa Blanca) was awesome and athentic. Rice pudding also was very interesting. The most nice part was the server(Miry) she was very nice, kind and made us enjoy Cuban culture! It was nice experience!

Though I am not a coffee drinker, but i enjoyed the hot cup of coffee served with baileys. The ambience exudes coffee vibes all across.. the aroma fills the place. The staff is extremely sweet and helps you choose the coffee based on ur taste. Liked the unhurried approach they had. The cafe has a vintage Cuban feel with good eats and amazing coffee. Loved the decor.

Lovely stop for coffee and pastries. They roast it right there so you cannot expect more fresh coffee. And the smell is spectacular! I don’t even drink coffee but I like it there, you can taste the quality. You can buy a cup to try and then purchase a bag to take home together with coffee maker. Super expensive but definitely worth trying. Paid $30 for 2 coffees and flan. Flan was not very good.

Owner was super nice and was naturally good at interacting with diff types of customers. Ordered orange juice and iced latte and recharged at this coffee shop for 2hrs after biking from Design District to Little Havana. Was fortunate to see coffee bean roasting in the store.

The place is nicely decorate. One of the best coffee I have ever had, strong flavor, freshly made. The caramel flan is thick texture, boldly flavor, and so delicious. Miry and Arianna are so friendly. They explained the menu throughout and gave us their recommendation for each of us, even offer to take picture for our group. Highly recommend. Definitely be back if we are back in this area.
