These guys are fast, they make the best coffee in LA. Truly my favorite iced lattes in town. I am closer to other coffee shops but I choose to come here because it’s perfects the coffee makes me happy ☕️ everyone here is lovely, great vibe, a/c and lovely. We always find parking nearby too!

Super friendly! And great coffee! Got a flat during a ride and the coffee helped the sting.

Staff are friendly, great vibe. However, these last 2 times I ordered the same draft latte and for whatever the reason, the barista filled my cup with just pure foam....the texture is not what it supposed to be and it tastes awful that way. So I had to wait until it bubbled down, and the portion literally reduced down to half of it. Not try to be petty but come on, things aren't cheap nowadays but at least give us the amount caffeine rush we paid for. I've been ordered the same draft latte several times before and they were never like this. Whichever staff from this location saw this, please make some changes on this.

Great coffee and service. Coffee is served in beautiful Italian ceramic cups. My wife and I enjoyed the vibe!

Can’t believe we found this spot around the corner from I intelligenistq coffee . Needed to redeem the coffee I had . I ordered a flat white here and ofc a cold brew oat milk . So good !!! Also ordered a guava cream cheese croissant 🥐

I had a very unpleasant experience at this place. The barista threw a plate with incredible aggression, causing it to break and shatter along with three other plates. It was a very unsettling moment, and every guest in the shop was visibly startled. His coworker had to step in to clean up the mess, which just added to the negative atmosphere. It’s hard to understand how someone with such a lack of professionalism could be working in a customer-facing role. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place based on this experience. Touché - because it’ best coffee in town.

Great coffee and vibe! Never had a bad coffee or bite. Only wish they'd have wifi but then I guess no one would leave.

There's no shortage of amazing coffee in Silver Lake. Moreover, there's no shortage of nationally recognized amazing coffee within two blocks of Sunset Junction. I'll be honest ... I love the usual players in the high-quality, local caffeine game - and go there regularly too - but when I want to stop and just have a great cup of coffee without too much pretension or pomp, this La Colombe is my stop. Yes, it's a chain. No, the coffee doesn't taste like it is. That's not to say it's the greatest coffee ever, but it holds its own in that category. The draft coffees are highly drinkable and refreshing on a hot Los Angeles day. The espresso is sharp and just the right amount of butter if you want a warm smack of caffeine. The nibbles are worth looking at as well. Sweet or savory there's something here for you. I'd recommend the bacon and chive scone. Seating ... sit outside! Out front you can watch the world go by. Excellent people watching. In the back - up the hill - is another covered area that seems to attract the laptop crowd a bit more. There are seats inside, but they aren't the most comfortable for long stays. This should be one of your coffee stops in Silver Lake for sure.

Love their oat milk lattes on draft! They have fun flavors that you can sample too. Inside and outdoor seating. Street parking is metered.

This La Colombe branch is located on Sunset Boulevard, and it's a solid cafe! It's a great spot for reading or working as they offer ample seating (including an area on an upper floor). They offer brewed coffee and espresso-based drinks, and I've found the coffee to be consistently good. Service is efficient, and during my last visit I thought the employee taking my order was quite personable! They do offer pastries for snacking, and because of its location you're near various shops and restaurants if you want to do some neighborhood exploring.

love this place, service is always so quick & all the baristas are sooo friendly, especially angelo! always enjoy seeing that guy there, love that he is friendly with every customer & that he takes the time to build relationships with customers. def keeps me coming back here. the shop itself is really cute, although small, theres plenty of tables to sit at, there's also more tables upstairs in the back! i love the vegan pizza thing they have, its awesome that they have vegan options. super nice coffee shop to just sit & chat or get some work done! but they dont have wifi so make sure to bring a hotspot

Stopped here on a whim and didn't regret it! The service was average, but the barista made me a really creamy oatmilk latte with tasty espresso--not to mention the literally perfect latte art. There's also a decent amount of seating for being a coffee shop in LA. Definitely becoming one of my go-tos!

If you haven't tried their draft oatmilk latte, are you even a coffee connoisseur? I heard of this coffee shop having their canned coffees at stores but you gotta come in and taste the draft coffee. The cortado was made to perfection and so cute and detailed. The baristas are always very sweet when I come in and speedy. Great service! I have not been disappointed with any of their pastries either. Just make the drives and know theres plenty of seating and parking is a little crazy in the area but read the street signs or park in the temporary spot cause it will not take long (unless theres a line). La Colombe is coffee roaster and now large scale company, hailing from Philadelphia. Famous for their draft lattes and high quality single origin beans, they currently have 32 cafes across the US. The company was recently acquired by Chobani, which is why you can find their lattes in any grocery store nowadays. This cafe location is on a bustling corner in Silverlake. On a Saturday afternoon, the crowd was a hectic mix of tipsy young people trying to perk up after a morning of day drinking, fashionable tourists, and millennials desperately trying to get work done on their laptops despite the lack of WiFi. I understand where La Colombe is coming from with the intentional absence of WiFi, but it's 2024. The bakery case was stocked with pastries from Beverly Hills baker Chaumont. I opted for a Pistachio Rose Croissant, which did not disappoint. My cappuccino, however, was not a cappuccino at all, but a sloppy latte. I do not dislike lattes and it was crazy busy, so I did not complain. But, even Starbucks baristas can make a better cappuccino. Disappointing from a brand of this caliber.

I've lived in Silverlake for 10 years and your baristas are rude, unwelcoming, and plain lazy. It's ridiculous you still keep them working here. They have no regard for customers at all. I'll never come back and don't recommend anyone coming to this shit hole.

I didn't know La Colombe had a coffee shop until today while I was in the area for business and spotted the sign. The building is so beautiful with brick walls and greenery, the outdoor seating area is very cute, there is some indoor seating as well. The wood tables and chairs add a lot of character to the place. Their cold brew was delicious without any aftertaste or high acidity. They have variety of drinks including specials. They also sell canned coffee in case you want some to go. I also noticed they had a few croissants left and some cookies so I'm assuming they sell freshly baked goods as well. Customer service was ok. Overall I liked the vibes of this place and will add it to my favorites.

Friday afternoon, you have an eggnog latte in your hand, and a friend by your side. You take a sip and...dam.. thats a good seasonal latte. You smile. This is La Colombe.

Consistently good, from the NY location to LA. The iced coffee with whole milk hit the spot perfectly. They used the Nizza blend which I've never tried before but it was divine (I use the Brazil Belleza for home brew) Helpful and friendly barista gave recommendations on their oat milk draft latte (must be a requirement by the company) and a sample of it which was ok. I still prefer the good ol' espresso shots. FREE: A MUST try is their carbonated water on tap. This was so refreshing and delicious I would stop by just to have a cup of this.

the best dirty chai in LA I've found so far, it's so damn delicious. Service is great. Super simple and modern ambiance. It's really a very basic place but the coffee is not LOL

I have recently been made aware of La Colombe and I have made it a goal to try a new one everytime I'm in LA. In my opinion, hands down the BEST draft coffee I have had! Something about their vanilla and oatmilk draft latte is just blissful to me. It has a smooth and velvety texture with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla and a nice nutty taste from the oatmilk. The service was great as well and it was very lively inside the cafe. A bit smaller and ended up getting a parking ticket because parking in LA is atrocious...but aside from that still a go too for coffee!

Cute spot in the heart of Silverlake. Their matcha latte was unfortunately too milky for me, but they were sweet enough to make it more americano style with some oat milk. Super friendly service. Have to come back to try their coffee next time.

If you're a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit. La Colombe Coffee is hands-down the best in Silverlake. Coffee is perfectly brewed with rich flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. The baristas are exceptionally skilled and friendly. The ambiance of the shop is inviting and friendly, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. Plus, the presence of security on site adds an extra layer of safety, which is much appreciated. If you're a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit.

I hope you like stale coffee. The place claims that their coffee is fresh. If you pick up the bags they sell, the coffee is a month old. Or they commit the worse crime of having a "best by" date; the shadiest practice when you want to sell old crap. The barista up front (pony tale dude) doesn't understand the importance of fresh coffee; so, I'm not sure I'd be paying my $$$ for a Starbucks quality brew. I took the photo on 09/23, and the roast date shows 08/29. Maybe they should take "roasters" out of their name. Or educate their baristas why coffee freshness matters at a coffee place ‍ Don't waste your money here!

Definitely a favorite of mine. The pastries were ok but the coffee here is so smooooth and creamy! I always pay a visit when in LA. It is small at this location if there's a few seats available near the entrance and a small bar type table against the wall. I also love that they have alternatives to milk for being lactose intolerant here.

One of my fav places to go EVER! I got every sat and sun after my hike and I get me little 4 pack of triple latte canned coffees. Basically set me up for the week. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. I got the guava and cheese danish which was soooo delicious! Parking can be annoying but super worth it.

Visited this location after spotting it on the way to 33 Taps to watch the World Cup match between U.S. & England; spoilers: no winners. We stopped in after brunch and watching the game. I ordered a latte, and a cookie and croissant to share. The cookie was ginormous, and the croissant perfectly flaky! I enjoyed it all! My boyfriend ordered a macchiato, but was expecting something more along the lines of a Starbuck's caramel macchiato (so basically a vanilla latte with sugar and caramel). The barista was really sweet, and recognized his confused look and offered to make him a latte to-go. 5/5!

I'll always gladly go a bit out of the way for la colombe! Best lattes and the pastries are good too. I like that the locations are versatile in that you can easily go just to hang with a friend or get some work done.

I have been dying to try and come to La Colombe since I moved out to California...this is my favorite coffee I've had in a long time. The drink is superb, the service is welcoming, and the ambiance is something to die for. They do a great job and making you feel welcome and a part of who they are. The barista was very rude. I ordered my drink "vanilla late with late milk" and wait outside. When I went to pick it up I asked the barista if the coffee in the counter was mine and she replied "I don't see why it wouldn't be." I am lactose intolerant so I wanted to make sure I was picking up the right drink otherwise I would get sick. Poor customer service, I won't be coming back here again.

Been enjoying this part of sunset Blvd for years but never been to La Colombe so wanted to give it a chance. Bad choice on my part. Just patiently waiting in an already formed line inside but felt very unwelcomed by how they ordered us to wait outside, then on top of that to keep the door closed right in our face. Barista didn't seem to have a problem with any of the women waiting in line inside, nor when a girl was the one originally propping the door open so it wasn't awkwardly slamming in our faces. Honestly not worth the wait (cramped then literally pushed out) when there are so many other great cafes a few feet away that have more welcoming staff and nicer vibes.

Really good coffee, average food. I tried the Draft Oat Milk Latte and had a Ham and Cheese Pastry. The latte was really good. The oat milk adds a nice flavor, and the drink overall was very refreshing. The bitterness of the coffee is very light and pairs well with the oat milk. One thing to note is how smooth the drink was. It has a very nice texture. The Ham and Cheese Pastry was average. The taste of ham is not very noticeable, and the cheese is the main flavor. The pastry itself was pretty flaky. Though, the cheese did taste good, the cheese had a hard texture. The quality was good. The latte was off a tap, and it tasted fresh. The pastry was not warm, but I think you can ask them to warm it up for you. The drink looks alright. It is hard to make coffee stand out. They do have a branded cup with the drink. The pastry look unique as it was long. The price to portion is alright. The drink is worth the price due to it's portion and taste. The pastry 's price is alright for the size and taste. The staff were really friendly. I was welcomed when walking in. One thing that I applaud them for is how fast they made the drink. Again, the drink was from a tap, so they really just put ice. Though, I appreciate how fast and efficient it was. Right after paying I got my order instantly. The ambiance is very nice. It seems cozy inside. The lighting is very nice. I can see myself studying or doing work here. It is quite small though. The place is very clean. The parking is a little hard because it is only street parking. Pretty good coffee here.

People stay away because of the rude unfriendly lazy staff. The woman 'guarding' the place doesn't do anything but herassing clients. The short guy with long black hair can't make a decent coffee and is rude to everybody except when his manager is around. Been there 2 times. Never got better. They've had their chance.

This place has gone from good to horrible. Charging very high prices for biter (and burned coffee beans) and assume that the default is "to go" is simply ridiculous. This was the very last time I came to the place and can only hope it will close. This doesn't belong in our Silverlake neighborhood!

La Colombe is unionizing, and this is one of the union shops. Was super happy to see workers repping their power in the workplace, super friendly and chill (almost like having democracy in your workplace makes everyone happier!) I felt much more comfortable ordering from workers who I know are taking control of their labor power! (Also, the drinks are good, as always). UNION STRONG!

This was our first time trying La Combe. We asked recommendations for iced coffee. The ppl worked there only gave us a confused look. Coz it could b coffee with ice or blended, but these servers just muttered out drip coffee over ice. Well we can't even taste coffee but water down stuff. Their Corsica taste like one of those made from Supremo grade coffee, no aroma, just a cup of dark water. We should stick with the real coffee place just a few stores down.

I was so happy when I found this place ! I tried some of the coffees they only have at the actual shop and it's soooooooo delicious ! Definitely a must try

Coffee wise, I had the Hazelnut latte with oat milk and it was yummy and frothy like I like. Plenty of seating available to work, however no wifi but you can connect to the Spectrum free trial!

Neat coffee shop with cozy outdoor seating in a quiet area. Nice place to work or read, with great coffee selection. I enjoy coming down here to get work done on my laptop and enjoying a cold brew outdoors, then taking home 6 or 12 cans of their lattes. My favorites are the caramel and the mocha. Right now in Nov/Dec, they have the seasonal Peppermint Mocha latte cans. Delicious and very portable.

I am a big coffee lover, even though I can't visit the store now but I can definitely order their coffee on their website! La Colombe is a perfect spot for those who love real coffee. I got a latte that was filtered with Nitro to make the taste extra creamy! The coffees here are made with extra love and you have the option to sweeten with simple syrup only- no frou frou flavors to take away from the actual taste of the coffee. If you enjoy overly sweet macchiatos or fraps I wouldn't recommend this place, however if you like the taste of true coffee, definitely give La Colombe a try!

I love La Colombe. Not their best location - it's a small corner spot with very little outside seating, but coffee wise they are amazing! I love large selection of nitro on tap, including their amazing latte!!!

I love this place. Their coffee is roasted well. Their customer service is on point. If you buy beans you get a drip for free. Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for. And they have lots of seating both inside and out.

OK my bad: just saw that the oldest review is still here so my comment in the second review is irrelevant. Came back for the draft latte, this time with the oat milk and the oat milk worked out great with the coffee! Their draft is good no matter the iteration- so frothy. Almost like drinking melted coffee ice cream. Got a bag of their beams this time and that thing was sooooo rich. So chocolate-y.

I went to school at Temple U and La Colombe was always a huge thing around Philly (I'm going to assume that they're based out of Philly). Their popularity is rightfully deserved though; the oat milk draft latte on tap can't be beat. The latte is smooth and doesn't feel too heavy, creamy and so frothy.. I was excited to find out that they have a location in LA and I've stopped by here a few times. The interior is pretty neat and there's exposed brick throughout. The only downside is that they don't have a wifi network. With this being said, La Colombe is still one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. Huge fan and will continue to go back.

This small and sleek coffee shop occupies a corner shop on Sunset with some indoor and outdoor seating. The tables are small - perfect for a catchup with a friend or a reading session since there's no wifi available. There are also sparkling water and normal water available, perfect to cleanse your palate between each sip of that delicious caffeine fix. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the espresso drinks here. My personal favorite is the Cortado for that milky foam, but the signature drink here is the Draft Latte that brought them to national fame as a high-quality chain. The beans are blended and roasted in-house for artisanal coffee flavours. The quality is impressively consistent, and the service is always phenomenal with a small-town feel.

One of my favorite places to get coffee. Chill little outdoor seating areas in the front and back. Draft latte / oat milk draft latte - insanely good drink, almost like a dessert.

They don't have matcha here but their service is amazing. All the workers are super friendly and I ended up getting their iced mocha. There's no sweetener and they use a dark chocolate-AKA YUM! Would recommend this La Colombe to anyone. Great service and great drinks!

LOVE THIS PLACE. The frog town location is amazing. Get your coffee and sit on the edge of the LA river. Best way to get some fresh air and decompress during a busy workday.

Bought canned cold brew - not cheap but not expensive. I 'm not sure why anyone would want trisodium phosphate and disodium phosphate in their coffee but if you do this is the stuff for you. I guess it's for those too busy to care about that what they consume. I shouldn't have assumed it was in the same class as the canned cold brews it was displayed next too...Not recommended.

La Colombe Coffee is a coffee roaster and retailer originated in Philly. This coffee shop is located on Sunset blvd and Hyperion ave in Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. I have passed by this coffee shop for years but never got the chance b/c of long line. And one can opine that it's one of the popular coffee shops in the area. I came here on a fine cool, cloudy Wednesday morning with only one person in line. I was ebulliently greeted by a young blonde woman. Their atmosphere vibe was very cool and relaxing. Interior/Exterior design was modern with exposed wall brick and wooden beams on ceiling. I perused their menu list and ordered a Cappuccino. Even among experts, there is a cogent argument what is a really good Cappuccino. In my humble view, their Cappuccino is really smooth, less intense and perfect. I was a bit disappointed that they don't have a bloody stopper which is essential on every coffee shop. Hence, deducted a * star. Prices were very fair and for the time being they accept non-cash payment only. Staff were amiable, assiduous, and followed health protocol. Service was moderately fast. No wifi. Street metered parking only. Overall, I had a good order experience and truly enjoyed my Cappuccino. I highly recommend La Colombe Coffee Roaster.

I really look forward to coming back when outdoor seating is available again! Today I got a lemon nitro cold brew... so refreshing and tasted great. Great for to-go coffee. Not currently a great place to sit and work. (Will re-review once open)

Stopped by for a pick-me-up before a long roadtrip! I got a latte, which wasn't particularly impressive, but to be fair they are more known for their draft lattes; maybe I'll have to give those a try next time I stop by to understand the hype? From what I could see, parking options weren't great; I got lucky with some street spots though. Seems like a cute place to chill or get some work done though :)

Cornerstone drip or the macchiato is one of the best in town. I prefer these here than the intellegentsia down the block from it (although I dig their espresso there). Get a really good cup of the cornerstone or workshop drips here freshly roasted on site. Street parking. Super friendly a d knowledgeable staff.

The Oat Milk Draft Latte is 5/5 amazing! It's creamy and smooth. It's a very enjoyable beverage. I picked up La Colombe as I was waiting for my Yeastie Boys order. In the past I've usually picked up Intelligentsia to go with my breakfast order, but now that I've had La Colombe - I think I'll be sticking with this Oat Milk Draft Latte! The only reason this is a 4 out of 5 star review and not 5 out of 5 is because of the service. The first two staff members I interacted with were super friendly and pleasant (the lady I ordered from and the cashier). But the last person I interacted with was very grumpy (the person who prepared my latte). He grumpily and loudly told me that I was exiting the wrong direction. I apologized of course, but it was my first time at La Colombe - I didn't know that it was a one way walkway through the store. Hopefully when I come back he's less grumpy!!

The draft latte was a bit of a letdown. I was eager to try it based on reviews and highlights, and the cashier even said it was one of their popular drinks. She described it as a hot latte in cold form. I was curious as to see what that actually meant, so I got it with oat milk (their only dairy-free option). If this review was based solely on the draft latte, I would have only given them one star. Firstly, the drink felt neither hot nor cold, so that seemed a bit weird to me. Secondly, the drink was super bitter and it would leave an odd aftertaste in my mouth. I don't know if it was the combination with oat milk, but it was all just a huge mistake. I really could not understand how anyone could enjoy that taste. Take my advice and save yourself from letting $5.50 go to waste! The only thing I liked about this place was their aesthetics. I always drive by this cafe on my way to work and they have this really colorful mural outside that seemed super inviting. The interior is also pretty nice and the brick wall gives it a hipster vibe. Unfortunately, the workers weren't the most friendly. Don't expect to get greeted with a smile, especially in the early morning. They seemed like they just didn't want to be there.
