The 24 Best Restaurants In Lyon - Lyon - The Infatuation

"Most visitors to Lyon stick to the Presqu'île, or city center, but it’s worth venturing out to this food court where many popular restaurants got their start as pop-ups. New stalls with cuisines from all over the world regularly set up shop, so take your time to suss out the options, hear the sales spiel, and figure out if you want large portions of Korean fried chicken and merguez couscous, or just a few gyoza and profiteroles. After your meal, hit the bar for a round or two of the draft beer that’s very good despite being expensive by Lyonnais standards. Be sure to time your trip with events like ’90s karaoke, kid-friendly brunches, and DJ sets." - anna richards

Cute dining hall with a great vibe. Upbeat music playing while you pick which vendor you want to try. I chose Le Masala Indien. The food was fantastic. So flavourful and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely place, with lovely atmosphere. Friendly (English speaking) employees that told me we could sit without reservation. It was quite busy outside @ the tables with people drinking beer etc. The concept is really nice, especially the chicken burger "restaurant" was amazing. Do also try out the pastry shop. Amazing quality and tasted amazing.

La Commune in Lyon is a gem! 🌟 I recently visited La Commune in Lyon, and it was an absolute delight! The food court has such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual hangout with friends or family. The variety of food stalls is amazing, offering everything from delicious street food to gourmet dishes. I was particularly impressed by the creative concept of supporting young chefs and giving them a platform to shine. The communal seating really adds to the friendly vibe, making it easy to strike up conversations with fellow foodies. Whether you’re in the mood for Italian, Bolivian, Lebanese or something sweet, La Commune has got you covered. Plus, their events and live music nights add an extra layer of fun to the experience. I highly recommend it for a unique and enjoyable dining adventure in Lyon! 🍽️🎶 PS: The Patissier is a real Master, his pastries are amazing

Having one place to explore multiple cuisines is a fantastic idea! This spot opens at 12, and by 11:30 AM, we could already see people queuing up. By 12:30, the whole place was packed. It’s the perfect one-stop destination to experience Lyon’s food scene. I loved the Veg Falafel and the Veg Croquettes. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming to all age groups, and full of energy.

There was no air conditioning inside so it was hot, and beer wasn't enough cold, but the Korean restaurant's chicken was great! There is also a dessert shop, it was okay. they have enough space and bar so good with friends.

Very cool space, very reminiscent of London‘s many food markets! There are a variety of cuisines showcases, but I had the couscous végétarien (which was very tasty). Beer can be self-served and the outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days!

A food court with "specialities" coming from around the world. I tried the Afghan restaurant: extremely disappointed. Mantu are supposed to be central-asian huge "raviolis" (bigger than usual French ones). Here I was served tiny pieces of dough bathing in oily cheap tomato sauce. Even for 13€50, it is a scam: Dosenraviolis from a can bought in any supermarket would have tasted better.

Food court style. I tried the Senegalese store, and wasn't particularly impressed. Lots of space, atmospheric, and seems like a good place to gather. The price for a main dish is around afforable-ish, and there are a variety of options of food.

Yelp
This is such a great place to get together with friends! Indoor and outdoor space and a laid back atmosphere make it the perfect spot. So much choice in food and drinks. Can't wait to go back
