Where To Eat & Drink In Paso Robles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"We’re here to tell you that a Latin American restaurant has the best pizza on the Central Coast. La Cosecha is a crowd-pleaser on Paso’s main square, and while their menu is very good overall (the daily ceviche should definitely hit your table), you’re here for the pizza. The Mediterrano with housemade lamb sausage and goat cheese is special, but you really can’t go wrong. They also do a great weekend brunch without the intense crowds that swarm at night. And yes, the pizzas are available then too." - Brant Cox

We came to this restaurant with a party of 10, last minute with no reservations. From the beginning everyone was so accommodating and welcoming, especially our waitress Alicia. She was very sweet, friendly, and professional, and did such an incredible job with our big size party. The food was very delicious. So delicious we even forgot to take photos prior to eating. I highly recommend this place. 👍

Google
Great little restaurant in dowtown Paseo Robles. Came here based on our Airbnb host recommendation. The food was delicious! Can see why it's a popular recommended spot. The flatbread is flaky and perfectly crusted. The dipping sauce complimented the flatbread well. The pulpo was cooked perfectly with the yummiest flavored sauce. 😋 Overjoyed with the dishes. Also loved how accommodating they were in allowing my dog to sit in the front patio. The server noted my little fur baby was very well behaved. Will definitely be back if I find myself in the Paseo Robles area.

We really enjoyed our lunch at La Cosecha. Lucky us...we snagged a seat outside, and we're able to take in the beautiful weather and the scenery. We shared the Barcelona Flatbread and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious and plenty to eat. We actually had enough to take home. We definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return some time in the future. NOTE: We took a photo of the seats outside later in the day and after we had left.

Our visit to La Cosecha was truly outstanding! The food and drinks were exceptional, with a burst of fresh and exquisite flavors that were simply amazing. The atmosphere was cool and relaxed, creating a great dining experience, and the bar added to the overall charm of the place. In addition, we were fortunate enough to try the seafood paella, which was an absolute standout. The dish was perfectly cooked, with a balanced richness of flavors that made it a real treat for our taste buds. Overall, it was an incredible culinary experience that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Google
Extremely disappointed! First of all, the service was abhorrent! We should have to wait 15 minutes to flag down the waitress to get some water refilled while eating somewhat salty food. Speaking of the food, the paella was extremely oily and the pan con tomate was bland and the bread rather soft, not firm or at least toasted like one has in Spain. Finally, the payment system was confusing and automatically add on a service fee (which I had to calculate was 20% since it didn’t spell it out) and then on the next screen it ask for an additional tip! Ugh!! Never again! Avoid!!!

It is a great place, beautiful layout, excellent service and outstanding food. During our brunch, there was a Jazz trio, playing great music. I order a paella and my wife ordered a crab cakes, poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. Both plates were very, very good. The environment was so good that I am planning to return, soon.

Google
This was a referral from a friend of ours. Read the reviews to confirm the referral. Well, the restaurant experience was great. Service was great. Food was awesome. Drinks were tasty. We chose to order their special cocktails and they were tasty. We also decided to order 5 tapas rather than entrees and they were all so good. Very healthy portions and we were stuffed that we couldn't even have dessert. Prices were good for the amount of the serving size for each dish. Highly highly recommend those interested for good food, great service all at good prices.

Google
Drinks were amazing, the staff all so friendly and accommodating and the food so delicious! Some of the best calamari we ever had. Light, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Served with 2 dipping sauces. We ordered the Ribeye steak for dinner and it did not disappoint. Perfectly seasoned and seared to perfection. Dessert was the chocolate torte, rich but equally delicious as the rest of our meal. Cappuccino was really strong, but I was able to fix that. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
This was our first time in since the new owners took over and we were very disappointed. We went for brunch and my mom and I shared the chilaquiles and my dad had the Spanish omelette. The chilaquiles were good, but nothing compared to how they used to be. The Spanish omelette was terrible. We were shocked it came with French fries? Even the server seemed surprised by the plating or lack there of. The service was great, and we enjoyed sitting outside at their railing, but we are so disappointed that the quality of food decreased so significantly.

Yelp
Had great service and food and drink. Started with the Croquetas and they were flavorful and perfect amount to share. My husband and I shared the chicken paella. The dish was fulll of flavor and the rice around the edges had some crunch. I wish we got our own because it was so good. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Would definitely return.

Yelp
We came at La Cosecha on a Saturday night with no reservations and they were able to sit us fairly quickly. We ordered a paella, croquetas de hamon, and heirloom cauliflower. The food over all was good(nothing special) I did wish the bottom of the paella wasn't burnt. It was a good experience so would recommend if you're looking for a tapas restaurant.

Yelp
Came here after a long drive from LA on a Friday night. We ended up ordering the seafood paella and mussels to start. I thought the mussels was very salty and would have been nice if they gave you more toast for the broth. The broth was so salty that I couldn't finish it and left a lot on the plate. The seafood paella was not as flavorful as I thought it was going to be. I did like the 4 large shrimps they give you. It was tender and bouncy. Not over cooked and it was sweet. I also like the rice as it was a little crispy on the bottom. This place is definitely on the pricier side. The restaurant is a little tight to navigate and the tables are too small and will limit the amount of items you can order.

Yelp
We were hungry and couldn't fi8nd the BBQ place we wre looking for - tensions were high! Saw someone eating a flatbread pizza on the front deck and we waltzed right on in and wre seated in a jiffy. Clean bathroom, by the way (we were driving from Jagged Point down and around back up to San Mateo.) Switched gears from BBQ and ordered a flatbread pizza, a shrimp salad, and a cubano. Forgot what the second kid ordered AND didn't get a picture. I'm sure he ate...something - maybe also a cubano. ANYWAY we were pleasantly surprised by the good tasting food, quick service, and cuteness of the town overall. It was hot, like 100F, so we didn't sit outside - but inside was bright and pleasant. Would return!

Yelp
Despite my party of 4 going for an early dinner, so we practically had the place to ourselves. Still, it was a lovely experience at La Cosecha. Great wine list along with cocktails and brews, I had a couple of different glasses of red wine that were delish. I went with the Scallops for my entree (carrots, saffron, broccolini, warm chorizo vinaigrette), and it was perfect. Service was responsive and on-par. Definitely will be going back for more.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience here at La Cosecha Bar & Restaurant on my recent visit to Paso Robles. I highly recommend making reservations, because this place was pretty busy once we arrived! We had a party of 5, and were seated at one of their communal tables with plenty of room to spare. The ambiance was dark, candle lit, and a little chilly due to the open doors from the outside patio. Luckily we were bundled up! So come in layers if you are dining here during the colder months. Nonetheless, it was a nice setting all around. Our waiter was very attentive, but at the same time pretty busy. The mistake we made was coming here hungry, and there was no bread served to hold us down. Not the restaurants fault, but just something to be aware of if you come here with an appetite. On to the food! We decided to order a little bit of everything on the menu, and shared family style. We chose the grilled octopus, chicken paella, mojo chicken, and the chorizo & Barcelona flatbreads. The grilled octopus (pulpo) was a tantalizing blend of smoky char and succulent tenderness. I especially loved that they were served on top of beluga lentils and smashed potatoes. Well executed dish all around and the octopus wasn't rubbery at all. The rich flavors of the chicken paella, was a symphony of crispy tender chicken, sofrito, caramelized shallots and vibrant spices in every delightful bite. BUT! I must mention that the bottom of the pan was very burnt, which made for less paella due to the caked on burnt rice. Still great flavors, but a little disappointed in the burnt bottom. We also indulged in the zesty allure of the mojo chicken. This dish was a flavor fiesta and had my taste buds dancing. The chicken was juicy and moist. The chorizo & Barcelona flatbreads were simple, yet the perfect bite to share. I wish they had a little more cheese, but they were still delicious. Overall, a great dining experience here and the dishes we shared were the perfect amount for 5 people.

Yelp
Positive Yelp reviews is how I decide whether to try a new restaurant. Based on the phenomenal yelp reviews, my wife and I dined at La Cosecha tonight. I believe the phenomenal reviews are way overrated. Factoring in quality, service and value (see attached menu and prices), La Cosecha is three stars at best. Food: We had the local green salad, the pulpo (grilled octopus appetiizer), and two seafood paellas. The salad is the only dish we are satisfied with. The pulpo taste OK. It came with three potato fingerlings. At $27, I expected more than one small tentacle which is barely enough to share with my wife. Low value. The seafood paella was a total disappointment. It should be call seafood fried rice instead. The paella was served on a pan with a spatula. The rice, shrimp and small pieces of white fish were dry and over cooked. Paella is usually cooked in a broth and the seafood should be moist. The spatula came in handy to scrape the crusted rice at the bottom of the pan. I hope you get the picture. Not worth the $52 price. So poor quality and low value. Service: The service was mediocre considering the high end prices. Soft drink options were limited and served by the can. We had to request for ice with our water multiple times (it was over 100 degrees outside). The salad and appetizer came at the same time, not staged as you expect in a high end restaurant. The server did her job, but the experience was purely transactional. Other Yelp reviewers wrote about popular dishes such as beet salad, short ribs, tortilla soup, crab cakes, fried calamari, and lamb shank. These dishes are all gone from the menu. So please check the latest menu before going to La Cosecha.

Yelp
If you are in Paso, and you just want to have a yummy meal... head to this place, and fast... so tasty so flavorful... We were super hungry after a full day of walking in wine tasting ... they carry Austin Hope which was amazing! We started off with the perfectly cooked scallops with a mango sauce and balsamic . We just had to try their beef and potato empanadas so much flavor however, my favorite was the salmon with the mash and grilled carrots. We made a reservation and I recommend that you do make a reservation. It's a smaller type restaurant we got there and they had a very quaint little table for us ready to go, but we decided that we were going to sit at the bar and really take in the entire ambience of the night. We had a super friendly bartender... This restaurant is dog, friendly and people friendly ...

Yelp
We had originally planned to go to one of the other breakfast spots in town before hitting the road back to LA ...but didn't make a reservation and it was quite the wait. It was also full of people and crying babies -no thanks. Took a quick spin around the town block and found this happy little place and so glad we did. Nice Frank Sinatra playing from inside, not too crowded, sat immediately by a very polite host, got waters and mimosas within 5 mins, ordered our meals and they came out fast hot and delicious. I am an All American Breakfast girl and the eggs over medium were on point perfect. Hashbrowns were great and the service was just lovely. Not sure if th host and servers were the owners, but service with a smile is what we got! Will be back...to try their lunch/ Paella which seems to be their specialty.

Yelp
Stopped by with my friends on a road trip heading to Carmel. The food was good but what really made our experience great was the service that we received by Cristo. He's a 10 out 10. He deserves a raise for sure. I would definitely come back just for his hospitality. The cheesecake was so good!!

Yelp
Previously, I rate this restaurant at 5 stars, and I'd be happy to do so again, but... unfortunately... ... La Cosecha is now closed. It's a sad thing. This was a fine restaurant. I hope the owner & chef enjoy a new start somewhere close by

Yelp
It's located in downtown Paso Robles next o many restaurants and bar. Customer service was good. Ambience was not bad. It had a gastropub vibe. Mostly tourists dining. Food wise - the menu was a bit confused. It was supposed to be a Latin inspired fusion. But not really, they had pizzas and mostly American tourists type of menu. The empanada dough was way too thick and filling was just ground meat and lacking salt. The pizza was also bland. They have a good size bar. My mango habanero drink was good. Good to go once especially when your just passing by town cuz they're open late till 10.

Yelp
My husband and I have visited this bar and restaurant several times. Apparently, four months ago new owners took over. It currently features a Latin American offering of food along with a lovely ray of original cocktails, and a wide selection of wine and beer. We both shared a small plate of. Pan Con Tomate . With the added jamon, it was a lovely start. Our main course was an ensaladas. My husband ordered the Fattoush with added shrimp. He loved his so much. I don't think I even got offered a bite. . I ordered the grilled Romain and shrimp with added jamon. Mine was also incredibly tasty. We both agreed we would order those salads again. For us that's always the benchmark of whether or not a restaurant is good. Our service was very good. We were checked on multiple times by both our server and the table staff. This is small and charming restaurant and bar. It does have a good size bar that you can sit at and be served lunch or dinner at. The drink menu is very extensive. The food menu is quite a bit shorter. But if you keep your mind open, I'm sure you can find something to fit your hunger needs. The only thing that I found a little bit of putting was the bathroom bathroom. It had obviously not been cleaned in a few days. I did let the staff know. They said they would take care of that right away. But everything else was absolutely right on. That's the reason for the four stars. so enjoy and I hope you love the Latin food influence. Period.

Yelp
It was getting late while at Paso Robles, La Cosecha was opened late. Got easy parking and a seat immediately arriving at 10 pm. The place was such warm cozy, great for good company and good eats kind of vibe. Our server was friendly and well informed on the menu. We were a party of two and ordered the Oxtail and Seafood Paella. Oxtail was tender and the sweet corn purée that came with was so delicious. The paella was flavorful and filled with seafood. The portion can be a shared 2 person or a really hungry person. It was wow. The food was so good we ate everything clean. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch here on a visit to Paso Robles. Absolutely loved the ambiance and the food! They have outside seating but we sat inside and it was very nice and clean. We had the Iberico and Chorizo flatbreads. Our waiter, Cristo, was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Delicious seafood paella and Iberico ham flatbread! Generous amounts of seafood with the right proportion to the rice and other ingredients in the paella and served right out of the oven with just the right amount of crispy rice on the bottom and sides of the pan. The flatbread was nice and crispy and not dense or too chewy, with the thin & lean slices of Iberico ham that was tender and not too salty or greasy. We had some glasses of wine which were generous pours. This place is popular and it's best to make a reservation for dinner. We were seated at the bar for our meal since we couldn't get reservations, and we appreciated the hospitality of the staff.

Yelp
I randomly visited this restaurant for lunch, the Latin music emanating from inside beckoning me to step in. Luckily, although very busy, there was an open table (and several seats at the bar). It's one of the many restaurants and businesses that surround the downtown park. There is free two hour parking on the street. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which, aside from the pulled pork, had slaw and an amazing jalapeno barbecue sauce. The flavor of that sauce really made the sandwich and I appreciated it had a little bit of heat. The ciabatta bun was fresh and the pulled pork tender. I felt the amount of pulled pork was on the lighter side, certainly less than what you'd get at a BBQ restaurant. But this was seriously an incredibly delicious sandwich. It came with fries which were perfectly made. Service was exceptional and the vibe of this place is casual and comfortable. Definitely a place I'd return to next time I'm in the area doing some wine tasting!

Yelp
Love the food and ambiance! Great paella options for both seafood lovers and chicken lovers! Great service and drinks! We love the fact that La Cosecha opens late until 11pm! We wil be back again!
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Definitely deserves a five star review. The ambience is nice and it's a clean classy restaurant. The food and service was great. It's definitely pricey but we knew that. The thing was we tried to order 3 different things they could not serve due to missing ingredients for whatever reason. So it was a little disappointing to not be able to order what we truly wanted.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
3.5 stars. We went for Sangria Happy Hour and stayed for paella. The white sangria was very good. The flatbread was nice, the ceviche was good. Unfortunately, the paella lets them down. There's none of the crust one expects from a paella, and there was a strong flavor that I couldn't quite pinpoint, chlorine-like. It might have been overly strong star anise?
google avatar

Carissa R.

Yelp
We were so excited to try La Cosecha. We had non-seafood eaters, but we thought there was enough on the menu. The food was underwhelming and disappointing, especially given the prices. The Pan Con Tomate was under-seasoned. The Ceviche Peruano was under-seasoned and lacked acidity (I added lemon). The Heirloom Cauliflower. Croquetas De Jamon, Chicken Paella, and Mezze Platter were good. However, nothing was special. The paella seemed overpriced. We celebrated a birthday and the chocolate cake was a highlight (not a great sign). Maybe we ordered wrong, but it was pretty disappointing overall. The service was good.

Yelp
This place was so good that I had dinner here twice in a week! Conveniently situated off the main square in downtown Paso Robles, La Cosecha has Latin inspired food with a decent wine list with wines from Europe and South America as well as locally. Both times I sat outdoors on the countertop that juts onto the sidewalk. Passersby could have easily snatched a bite off my dish, thankfully no one did despite the aroma of our meal. The indoor seating area is spacious and tastefully done. My friend and I split their special mushroom pizza and a salad - I should note that it was "special" because it was not on the menu. Not because they were special mushrooms ha ha. The first time we had the pizza, it seemed that the texture of the crust was a bit more to our liking: crusty with just a small amount of bite to it. The beet salad was delish - we ordered without the addition of prawns. The first time we ate there, we had a fantastic waiter, I think his name was Yuki? Anyway he put up with us speaking Japanese to him, mine is barely passable while my friend can hold her own. Shout out to that guy for letting us practice our Japanese while serving us with a smile - at least I hope he was smiling behind that mask.

Yelp
Highly recommend making a reservation in advance! We luckily made a reservation for lunch and the food was delicious that we even came back for a dinner too. The dinner crowd was packed and there were groups waiting outside for a table to open up too. // FOOD // PIZZA MARGHERITA: Marinara, fresh mozzarella, basil. AMAZING! Honestly, the dough had a great flavor to it, the marinara sauce was magnifico, the fresh mozz was perfect and thinly sliced basil on top to round it out! The pizza was thin, crispy, and light - just how I like it but the flavors combined were too good! 5/5 PAELLA OF THE DAY: Shrimp and longanisa sausage on a bed of risotto. Not your normal paella which was slightly disappointing, but the flavors were excellent! The dish was slightly overall but the shrimp and sausage added nice textures to the risotto. 4/5 CHILAQUILES: Carnitas, Chile verde, creme fraiche, pico de gallo, avocado, poached egg. Where was the carnitas? Two people at my table ordered this and in total there was probably about 1 oz. of carnitas LOL! Definitely pass on this dish as it lacked in flavor and definitely lacked in meat. 1/5 PASTRAMI SANDWICH: Sauerkraut. mozerella cheese. pickles. The meat was slightly tough. Instead of a sandwich, I would absolutely recommend getting a pizza or maybe try the Cubano as that sounded good too. 2/5 Overall, I thought some of the dishes were amazing while others were a miss. However, La Cosecha was one of the better restaurants that we had while in Paso Robles. I would definitely recommend coming here for a pizza and a cocktail.

Yelp
Who owns this place? Who manages this place? Absolute trash management and food is mediocre at best. Came here for Memorial Day Weekend and they had literally run out of every ingredient. What really pissed me off is that they were acting borderline mischievous in their approach by not mentioning they were out of food until you were seated and ordered drinks. I'll never come here again and won't recommend this place to anyone.

Tony G.

Yelp
We were so glad that they were open on Fourth of July! One of a very few place and totally worth it. The food was phenomenal. Service was attentive. It was definitely busy that evening and getting a reservation was tough. Comfy place.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
Incredible dining spot if you're visit Paso Robles! The food was delicious from start to finish. We got the beet salad, grilled octopus, and pan seared scallops to start. For dinner, we had the seafood paella and braised veal shank. All items were shared. No room for dessert. Great wine and cocktail list. Nice atmosphere. Service was excellent. Add this restaurant to your "must-try" list!
google avatar

Jane E.

Yelp
We come to Paso Robles 3-4x/ year and have always loved La Cosecha. The ambiance is still nice ...warm and inviting. Our server, Yuki was attentive. We split the Fattoush salad and the cumin flavor of the dressing was delicious. The only problem was that the lettuce was gritty, like it needed to be washed more thoroughly. We ordered the paella and were pretty disappointed. We each got a few shrimp, a few mussels, and a couple of pieces of whitefish. All were overcooked and dry and the rice was just rice...didn't detect any saffron. It's just not what it used to be...sigh!

Terri G.

Yelp
Excellent all around. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service! We came for lunch, shared a salad and paella. They were both delicious but the paella was the best I've ever tasted, a flavor explosion! Also ordered a mocktail and asked for something not too sweet. The bar tender created a delicious blood orange mocktail. Best meal in our trip so far!

Yelp
We came to La Cosecha due to seeing their food featured on the cover of a Wine Country magazine - and let me tell you, I see why they were on the cover! We sat at the bar, because we love watching all the action take place and being able to watch the bartender make all of the unique drinks. The inside of this restaurant is beautiful and the bar is surely eye-catching! We ordered the Burrata toast and the empanadas as appetizers, which were both amazing and so delicious. The toast was perfectly seasoned and absolutely mouth watering; the empanadas came with two and were crispy and perfectly flavored. For the main course, we ordered the chef's seafood stew (this was featured on the magazine cover) and the salumi pizza - both were just superb! The pizza was a brick oven pizza and the dough was nice and fluffy and delicious. If you get one thing, please get the burrata toast - it is unlike anything I have had before and just absolutely AMAZING! So excited to have found this Latin American restaurant in Paso - we will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Good food great service! I really like the music they play also. Get the seafood paella

Yelp
Delicious thin crusted personal Pizzas in a great location right off the park in Paso Robles. We had a pizza Bianca and a pizza Prosciutto and both were delicious. To start we had the ceviche of the day which was shrimp. So good-with lots of perky lime to complement the brininess. We sat at the bar stools overlooking the park and it was so relaxing! Our server was very attentive during the busy timeframe that we were there.

Yelp
I will have to say, we were a little disappointed with this place tonight. We wanted to pop in and have a drink and an appetizer. We arrived at 4:40. The doors were locked. A person inside looked up at us, then just looked away. Pretty rude. We went few doors down and had a drink and an appetizer. Afterwards we decided to see of La Cosecha was even open. It was. We sat outside and ordered a drink and a beet salad. When were about 3/4 of the way through the salad I asked my fiancee, "Hey, did you see any walnuts in this salad?" She said no. I asked our waiter, isn't this salad supposed to have walnuts? He said, yes, candied walnuts. When I told him our salad came with no walnuts he said, I am sorry, I should have caught that. Would you like some now? I said no, our salad is almost done. He said, would you like me to bring you a side of walnuts? I said, for my pizza? No, I said, I want you to take some $ off of my bill. He said he would talk to the manager. The pizza came. It was delicious. The waiter talked us into creme brulee for dessert. Completely disappointing. The custard was mealy and undercooked. Only 1/4 of the top was carmelized. When the waiter came back he asked how it was. I told him. He said, ah, trying to get more money taken off your bill? WTF? I told him no, just passing along constructive criticism for the kitchen. They took $2 off the bill for the walnuts. I think they should have comped the salad. Not sure if I'll be back.

Yelp
I was too busy enjoying the whole experience to take photos or even remember what I specifically ate. The Ceviche was amazing, Paella as well. Great wine choices. Definitely try this place.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick snack while passing through town on an afternoon of wine tasting. We were there before they actually opened for dinner, but after they had stopped serving lunch, so there was a limited menu available. We decided on two of the three options, empanadas and ceviche. Empanadas were pretty good... One option available, meat and potato. I would've liked a little more seasoning in the filling personally. But they came out of the kitchen nice and hot, two nice sized empanadas atop a little serving of slaw. Ceviche is good also... Again, I prefer things a little more assertively seasoned. Chips, served a long side, appear to be housemaid, so points for that also. Chips could have been salted, I think. I thought these two items were a little on the pricey side for what you get, but I also understand the pressure on restaurants these days. Servers were very nice and professional. We would give this spot another visit next time through!

Yelp
Spanish inspired restaurant with tapas, pizza and main entree options. They have a very cool cocktail list and large variety of white and red wines. The wines were either Californian or Spanish. We got the scallops, pork chop and burrata toast. Pork chop: cooked really well. The whole piece was very moist and had good flavor. Only let down was the veggies. Pretty bland. Almost like they were just steamed. Scallops: pretty small portion. Three quarter size pieces for $16. The butternut squash puree and the cheese sauce paired well together for that salty sweet flavor. The actual scallops were a little salty for me and not as tender as I've had at other places. Burrata toast: pretty standard but well done. The toast was a nice thick piece and they didn't skimp on any of the components like the pesto, burrata or tomato.

Yelp
To our new "friends"...Matt, Aiden, Yuki, and the bartender whose name we didn't get.... Cannot thank you enough for taking care of us (your patrons when the elevator was broken). We had amazing service, delicious food and drinks!! Will always come back!! Loved the convenience of just going downstairs for brunch, lunch, and dinner!! Thanks to all!!

Yelp
This was probably the best place for food quality that I visited while in Paso Robles! I didnt drive into downtown, but walked so I cannot speak of the parking on Friday night specifically, but I do know they have quite a bit of metered parking from other days during the weekend that I did drive into downtown. My partner and I started with drinks, which were fantastic and ordered the Ceviche to start. Also very good! I then had the empenadas, which were small, but enough and he had a pizza. All the food was good, and, again, the drinks were also great. I do think the atmosphere was a little unsure of itself as the TVs and clientele earlier in the night gave it a sports bar feel, but the menu, decor and bar selection does not really align. It was also a bit noisy, but I think the food and the service trumped any other issues I had, which is why it is still a four-star rating. Overall, I would recommend visiting, even if its just for drinks and apps!

Yelp
We enjoyed our time at the restaurant. There are parking on the street - and the first 2 hrs are free. The paella is great!! Very fantastic. Ribeye is decent and the drinks are good as well. Overall, a solid choice for a good and fun dinner spot at Paso :)

Yelp
This was delicious and I only wish i took more pictures! Came here with Cathy and Sunny (and the kids) for a dinner while up in Paso for the weekend wine tasting. Man, was it good. Everything that we had tasted fantastic and was really enjoyable! You can't go wrong with any dish, and we tried probably half the menu! My only complaint is that it was really hot inside. Luckily we had a table by the door, so that there was some outside air. However, the AC was not on and we sweat through the meal. Corkage is $25 per bottle or $50 for a magnum (which I thought was a bit high for Wine Country). I know that restaurants make money on wine sales, but if you are a wine country restaurant, I think it is really nice to have a low corkage fee if you bring a local bottle. Businesses helping businesses! Even with the $50 corkage, the food was pretty epic and really good. So happy that we had dinner here and I was even thinking about it the next morning!

Yelp
Visited Paso Robles for a weekend and did my research on where to eat. This place was always on the list to try and for a very good reason! We were welcomed and greeted as soon as we entered the place! Everyone was very attentive despite it being busy. It was packed on a Friday night so make sure to have a reservation. I have nothing bad to say about the food! My favorite was the scallops! It was very tender and cooked perfectly. Loved how they seasoned it and the sauce that comes with it complements it so much. Literally can't have enough of it! Beet salad was very appetizing and just made me excited for what's to come! The pizza didn't disappoint as well. I was worried when it came out as I thought it didn't have enough bacon but took a bite and it was flavorful! They also have a great selection of wine to pair with the food. Vibe was very hip and classy. I heard they also have live music for Sunday brunch so I'm even thinking about going back for that and to check out their brunch menu. It is definitely a place not to miss when visiting Paso Robles!

Yelp
We stopped at La Cosecha after a day of wine tasting and were a bit hungry. Everything we ordered was great and the cocktails were wonderful! We will definitely be back. We stayed at the Paso Robles In. And it was in walking distance. Perfect!

Yelp
We were excited to eat at this restaurant after reading the reviews sadly, we left underwhelmed. We ordered the croquetas de jamón to start and we did not taste the jamón at all. Porto's croquetas are superior to the ones here. We followed with the seafood paella and I'm now sure that dish should be called paella. The fish was bland, the rice was not seasoned, the mussels were the size of a pea, and there were pockets of saffron seasoning in some parts of the rice. Also, a paella should not be dressed with hot sauce. Perhaps it's an effort to compensate for the lack of flavor. I would say the best part of the meal was the dessert. It was a a sticky cake with vanilla ice cream. It appears most people go for their cocktails. I ordered an espresso martini to end the meal and I had to cancel the order as it took over 10 minutes. I will not be eating here again.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice. The lamb rib was tasty, and I liked the ceviche. The tostadas rhat came with it were, i felt a litter under fried. Next time, I'll try the paella. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but everyone was very nice and accommodating. Not a long wait, even though we didn't have reservations.

Yelp
Great service. Yuki was our server and he was awesome. Great food and wine from all over Paso to try. Croquettes were amazing as well as the fish. Loved the atmosphere and it was a little bit loud. Service was outstanding and portions were pretty good. We will be back.

Yelp
Our lunch was exceptional. We tried the croquetas, the lamb chops, the mezze platter, the shrimp and the flatbreads and all were well seasoned and beautifully presented. There were so many great options on the menu that it was hard to choose what to try. The signature mocktail was delicious as well. Our waiter was engaging and very helpful in choosing what to order. This was the best tapas I have had outside of Spain. The room was lovely with outside seating available. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back when we are in the area again.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. We went there for dinner. We were seated right away but our table was too close to the table next to us. Thank goodness that the couple seated next to us was nice but it felt like there was no much privacy. Food wise...so disappointed. We got the bone marrow and it literally had 2 small pieces of meat and a lot of mushrooms. We asked our waiter to please change it because it was no worth it at all. He was really nice and let us choose what we wanted. We got croquetas and they were not good either. Dry and dense - you already know that croquetas should be creamy! Lastly we had Branzino and it was ok. Nothing out of this world. I give it two starts because our waiter was nice and the place looked nice.

Yelp
One of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are in town! Things we love: the paella, the branzino, the ribeye! They have a great bar! Our ladies love the espresso martini! The service and expectations have been consistent for over 5 years that we've discovered this gem.
