"Situated in the heart of the old town, this restaurant is striking for its rustic and vintage-style decor. Fun, market-inspired cuisine centred on Andalucian ingredients with an exotic touch. Pleasant terrace." - Michelin Inspector

Food was pretty good overall. Highlights included the crab omelette which was bursting with rich flavours and the squid with onion. The cheese was very dry, stale and disappointing. Nice atmosphere and setting in the outdoor terrace. The service was below average and dragged down the overall experience. The waiters were not very helpful or attentive or attuned to the needs of the customers, and seemed more interested in chatting and interacting with each other. For example, our waitress declined to offer any recommendations “since the menu changes regularly” - signalling a lack of knowledge about what was on the menu. At times the waitress was also grumpy and abrupt. For example, she tried to grab a plate off my friend while she was still eating from it. When my friend objected, saying she was not finished, the waiter dismissed the request and responded in a grumpy and annoyed tone that she “needed to change the plates”. Clearly the needs of the waitress are more important than the needs of the customer.

Fantastic restaurant in Malaga! My dinner was perfect from start to finish. The service, food wine and the terrace were spot on. I had the Russian salad, the sweetbreads in a lemon/caper/butter sauce with spinach and tarta de queso made with payoyo cheese. Everything was super delicious especially the sweetbreads! Also had a couple of nice glasses of white wine. 100% recommend, make resos and ask for a seat on the lovely terrace.

Excellent modern interpretation of classic dishes and terrific quality local food made with seasonal ingredients. Found everything to be delicious. Especially loved the callos, as it's a lovely interpretation of an 'old fashioned' dish. The mollete stole the show too, the tuna was stunning quality. A very nice meal for 2 for a very reasonable €82 and would recommend totally for a higher end dining experience in Málaga

We came here for lunch a bit early, so we were the only ones on the patio. We actually liked it that way, because the service was great. The servers were friendly, and gave great suggestions on food and wine. As it was our last meal in Malaga, we loaded up on local dishes like the fried sardines. I loved this place for how casual it felt outside. A perfect spot for lunch.

Nestled in a quiet(er) alley in the Old Town Malaga. Food and service were great. We had a wonderful time. The red mullet was exceptional.

Truly one of the better restaurants in the old town, where we had dinner twice. Delicious and good selection on the menu. Very friendly service and ready for a little chat. Quick serving between courses. We will definitely come back here the next time we go to Malaga.

Best service we had in the entire two week trip. More goofy than professional which is what service supposed to be. Surprising NYC connection. Yes, get the tuna muffin (more like a sandwich really but excellent), steak tartare and the cheesecake. Skip the crab omelette. More details on eatingwithziggy [.com]
