"The Étang de Thau, a major shellfish farming site and lake in Languedoc (mussels and the famous oysters of Bouzigues), is also well-known for its biodiversity from seahorses to birds. Taking a seat on the terrace or in the conservatory on the banks of the lagoon is a treat not to be missed. Expect to tuck into delicious, ultra-fresh seafood, including oysters, but also slipper lobsters in season, a much rarer delicacy…" - Michelin Inspector

It wasn’t our first stay at La Côte Bleue, a very nice little hotel practically located just off the highway. The hotel location, it’s secure parking and lovely staff makes it the perfect place for a one-night stay on your way to France/Spain. The pool is definitely a plus if you’d like to refresh after a long day in the car, and the restaurant is very enjoyable too.

Perfectly clean with good quality linen. Tea /coffee facilities in the room. Safe carpark which was important for us because we have used it for several years as a stopover for a long drive to Spain without having to empty the car of luggage/ bikes . Stunning sunrises/ sunsets. Excellent price factor.

A nice hotel close to the centre and the harbour where all restaurants are located. Really nice and clean rooms with amazing shower. A bonus with the balcony where we could enjoy some hours relaxing 😎

This hotel is in a picturesque location on the edge of the Étang de Thau near to Sete. The hotel was very clean and well presented, with private parking for hotel guests. There is a large swimming pool with lots of sun loungers - perfect for a lazy day in the sun. We didn’t use the restaurant, but it looked good! There are lots of little seafood restaurants within walking distance and the nearby town of Meze is also worth a visit. We would recommend this hotel for couples on holiday or as a 2 night stopover destination.

Family owned and operated, and situated on a bay that connects to the Mediterranean Sea, it is the perfect spot to enjoy any type of shellfish or fish of any kind (that is caught locally!) With an outside terrace and a view of the thousands of oyster beds just off the coast, it is a very welcoming spot and perfect for a glass of wine at sundown. The neighboring village of Sète is also just across the bay and with its multicolors and church steeple makes for a perfect photo backdrop! The interior is warm and welcoming and the service is professional and multi-lingual. The assortment of shellfish is their drawing card but everything we had (including the amazing desserts) was great! And a great apperitif and wine selection! With an attached hotel it makes a great spot to visit when in this part of France or on the way to or from Barcelona!

When we first arrived, I wasn't sure about this hotel - there was an odd stale water smell around the car park area at the back and it looked a bit grotty when we parked the car at the back of our room. The decor is dated, but it was spotlessly clean and then we opened the room door and looked out at the large sparkling pool and I realised it was actually very nice. The pool is lovely and it's nice to have a terrace with chairs overlooking that.||||The staff were very friendly and we'd booked dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent but the wine list was expensive - the wines were good, but I don't usually spend that much on wine! ||||Breakfast was also quite pricey for what it was. I notice a previous reviewer had said they didn't make it clear breakfast wasn't included - for us, it was on our booking email and again when we arrived they asked if we wanted to add breakfast, making it clear it wasn't part of the price of the room. Also, although many people were sitting inside, others went out onto the terrace to have their breakfast and this seemed to be perfectly acceptable to the hotel.||||Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

I liked this Motel very much indeed. ||||Bouzigues is a lovely village next to the sea on the Oyster beds. It is known and frequented for it's seafood and seafood restaurants which run along the front.||||The hotel is situated right at the entrance to the village and is a Motel style.||You have secure parking and then there are ground floor or first floor rooms which benefit from a nice terrace and terrific views out to the bay. The rooms are dated and basic but are clean and perfectly acceptable for the price paid. We had a great nights sleep. No drinks making facilities, minibar or safe but excellent TV.||||The restaurant in the hotel is fabulous, really great seafood on offer and fresh shellfish.||I had a delicious lobster and crab cannelloni and an excuisite sole meuniere.||Service was slick and professional throughout, great wine list. Not cheap for dinner but stunning simplistic quality and packed out, so booking advisable.||||||Breakfast was adequate and best pain au chocolat ever.||||Overall good value. Would recommend.
