We had an excellent experience here, both the room, which was spacious and nicely decorated, and the restaurant, which boasts an innovative and creative cuisine with delicious dishes. Also the service and wine recommendations from our waiter were great. A highly memorable experience that should be repeated.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very nice, quiet, spacious and well appointed. Samantha greeted us, checked us in and showed us our room. She arranged for us to have a great wine tasting in their tasting room. She also made dinner reservations for us. It was a delightful stay!

We had just left a terrible place and checked in urgently. The receptionist was a lovely lady - so helpful. We cannot praise her enough. Thank you. The restaurant in the evening was a bonus.

10 Stars!...Amazing place with an even more amazing staff. I only wish we got everyone's names to mention them individually. We dealt with Samantha prior to our arrival and throughout our stay and I must say she knows exactly what the Hospitality Industry is all about going above and beyond with her exceptional service. Fantastic location within walking distance of many shops, wineries and restaurants in lovely little Sancerre!

We had a wonderful stay and are sorry it was only for one night. Our room was very comfortable with quality bedding and towels. The large shower was a welcome change from some of the other accommodations we had stayed at. Parking was very easy, just a short distance up the hill.||We enjoyed a relaxing and delicious meal in the restaurant that evening. It competes with a restaurant in Paris for our “best meal in France award”. I enjoyed a salad of mixed greens with roasted potatoes and chavignol cheese, veal with polenta and chanterelle’s, all paired with a local red Sancerre which they selected. We were more than pleased with the menu choices, service and overall experience.||We wish we had booked more than one night, and would stay there again on our next trip to the area.

Warmly received without any fuss, shown to the room and advised of the dinner and breakfast arrangements in a very pleasant manner. The room was a delight with plenty of space to move about. The adjoining en-suite was clean and well designed. The views from the three windows showed aspects of east, south and the square with fountain below. The hills had vineyards all around the rooftops. Ask for room 10, probably the best room in the hotel.
