"After pursuing a career abroad, the chef has returned to his roots, to the family's former hunting lodge, to devote himself to cooking – his earliest passion. In this convivial place, he has perfectly mastered generous traditional cuisine, from cooking to seasoning. We love the terrine with home-made sourdough bread and gherkins from the estate in vinegar. The plus: overnight accommodation in a cabin on stilts!" - Michelin Inspector

Stayed for dinner and our final night before returning to London via LeShuttle, after a road trip around Champagne and Burgundy. Phenomenal experience with Sebastian, his lovely wife, and fantastic team. Had some issues in restaurants in some of the rural stays in France as I have coeliac disease, despite contacting various restaurants in advance. I could not have been catered for better by the Rémi team - multiple gluten free options across all courses on their Michelin recommended menu, and gluten free bread available. Food and wine were outstanding, perfectly reflecting the idyllic walled, kitchen garden and surrounding wooded areas. Definitely worth going out of your way for this stay, even if you’re not travelling via Calais. We’re already looking at returning during a visiting in a couple months.

We stayed here last year on our way back to Calais. It was such a convenient and comfortable stopover that we did not hesitate to do the same this year. The approach to the house is amazing. The room is spacious with a large couch and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, we again were unable to experience the restaurant as it is closed on Mondays, but breakfast hinted at what we were missing - fresh orange juice, homemade bread and preserves and the offer of eggs and other savoury goodies - perfect coffee too. Thanks Dina, we hope to see you again next year.

I haven't slept there but the food was good. Nothing fancy but simple and tasteful. For sure, if I'll passing by, I'll eat there.

A lovely place to stay - our accommodation was on two floors with a huge circular bath and vaulted ceiling in the bedroom. Veg grown on site and cooked to perfection as part of an excellent dinner. Breakfast heavenly with home made jams and bread - definitely worth a visit

BLUF - A superb experience. You will need a car (and a good map/sat nav) to get there, but it is not hard to find. Parking is spacious and off road. The hotel/restaurant is in a lovely rural setting, and very quiet. Reception was welcoming and efficient. We were in one of the downstairs rooms facing into the courtyard, which was very spacious, well appointed, with an excellent bathroom. The is a very short (20m) walk to the restaurant. Dinner in the restaurant was superb, with an imaginative menu, and a good wine list (with a range of prices). Breakfast similarly is excellent. Will return!

Been here many times and we love it. Location very peaceful. Rooms are lovely. Lovely welcome. Excellent breakfast.|| We normally enjoy dinner , but on this occasion we didn't. Just a matter of personal taste.| We will definitely come again and have always recommended to Friends.

We’ve been staying here every trip to France to camp or campervan for 12 years and it is always a huge treat! So consistently great, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, it’s always a delight to explore the kitchen garden, the whole team are welcoming and friendly and the breakfast is incredible - we’ve never eaten brioche or bread this good anywhere else. Dinner in the restaurant has always been excellent, Sebastien is an incredible chef and we love eating here. This stay we were so lucky to experience Sunday evening in La Grange, a delicious array of dishes cooked over wood fires in a relaxed and convivial setting. We loved it, the perfect end to our holiday and a must do for our next visit. Merci beaucoup!!

One of the best meals I have had in years! Service is impeccable, rooms comfortable and spacious….but the food! I had the pork belly and my friend had the duck which was excellent. But the pork was on a different level. Would recommend making a detour for this hidden gem.
