"In a style typical of the region, this house on the town’s main street is flanked by a little courtyard where tables are laid on fine days. Impressive cuisine based on excellent produce. Local wines. A few spacious, smart guestrooms." - Michelin Inspector
Food is lovely very tasty and well presented ambience is great the restaurant and terrace very tasteful
However the manager was trying to up sell as soon as we sat down the menu was complicated 3 set menu’s only 2 explained in print the third by mouth from the manager which we declined
We ordered to courses of the second menu and he was then trying to push dessert on to us before we had anything to eat!
We ordered to aperitifs which arrived and then straight after no chance to enjoy our aperitifs the starer I felt very rushed and wasn’t happy about that
The food was excellent and plentiful but the drinks were ridiculously expensive one small beer 9 euros!
They did not have a price list on display for drinks only for the wine
We won’t be returning was very disappointed

We had a beautiful meal here- it’s well worth a visit if you’re staying in Eymet. The host is so attentive, the courtyard restaurant is beautiful and you are well looked after. Highly recommend the €50 taster menu- it’s fantastic!

Quiet Lunch in February, Very friendly and hospitable host Francois with quick service ( as requested) for a fantastic Tasting menu, at 50 Euro. These are the type of restaurants you come to France for, not a restaurant that does the classics really well ( also nice) but each course a surprise balanced combination of natural flavours enhanced through cooking a wide range of excellent products and produce. In this case a number of smaller courses adding up to a big meal ( go easy on the bread to fit it all in) .

Beautiful small courtyard dining on a very warm May evening. The Chef/Proprietor welcomed us warmly (as he indeed did some 17 years ago on our first visit!) and as three tables all sat down around 8 pm, explained the menu. The menu is brief - 2 starters, 2 main courses, cheese or dessert - but for €50, you can taste it all - so of course - we did! On this visit it was truly a "one man show" - Chef cooked, plated, served, all with the best nature possible - taking time for chats without being overbearing at all - it turned a meal into an event. Food was regional and excellent with presentation midway between rustic and fine dining. Wine list is very limited, but when I explained what I was looking for, Chef produced a superb and very well priced Viognier from his own collection. A visit to Eymet is not complete without a visit to this special corner - there's nothing else quite like it in the town. Bravo, again!

Very funny and kind chef / owner. We had a lovely wine that was recommended by him. Very nice atmosphere too on a hot summer night in the garden. The food was good but quite standard in a way. Could have been a bit better / more interesting in flavour combinations. For example the cheese platter was wonderful cheese and a few sour pieces of red fruit. I missed something sweet to pair it with, like some sweet grapes, compote, raisin bread or something, or maybe a glass of dessert wine as an option. A little bit more daring dishes would be a good addition, it's all very safe.
The staff was very friendly but did forget to poor us our wine over and over so we had to get up and poor it in ourselves. Personally I'd also recommend the staff to wear a work uniform just to make this lovely restaurant look even more professional. But maybe this was chosen to create a more informal atmosphere. So overall very good but personally for us not yet 5 stars.

The food was magnificent. If the beef is on the menu, do have it, rare, tender, moist, perfect.
Sadly, we were let down by the service. Two hours passed and we had only had the starter. We cancelled dessert and managed to leave after 3 hours.
Hopefully a one off because of staff shortage, just beware that your meal may be "relaxed", if brilliant once it comes.

My absolute favorite place in the world. It's worth flying to France just to eat here once in your lifetime. Not only is the food perfection, but the personality of the chef in announcing the menu and the prude in everything he does is an experience to remember forever. I highly recommend this experience to your bucket list. No better place in the world to be.

Third time in Eymet, and finally we visited this place. Omg. This was the best meal. ❤️it’s a one man show. And everything, absolutely everything was superb! No delays with service . Shocking he was doing it all on his own! Thank you for this fabulous treat François! Super talented chef! ❤️

Great food and friendly service. The food was classically french. I became happily lost in all the great courses.
