La Couronne Hotel Restaurant

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at La Couronne. This is a beautiful hotel, located in the |historical old center. It has elegant, well-kept rooms that have continental style.|The service is professional and efficient. The plumbing in our 4th floor room stopped working on a Sunday night; and the staff instantly moved us to an even more beautiful|and comfortable room. One should be aware, however, that the hotel is adjacent to|a 17c. church, whose bells chime throughout the day and night.

Lovely hotel - excellent personable service and beautiful, air conditioned rooms. All the details had been considered, we had a drink in the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant, seated outside in the square. Excellent breakfast too, would love to stay again!

We did not stay at the hotel. The restaurant is my favorite in all of Switzerland! Phenomenal food, top notch service at a historic location. Wish it wasn't raining or I would have enjoyed a cigar and cognac! Worth going out of your way to visit!!

Amazing hotel, good food, great location, lovely staff

Stayed here for one night at the start of a long Euro Trip and was very happy with my choice. The front line staff were very pleasant the entire trip, the hotel is a beautiful historical building in an amazing location at the centre of town. The room was spacious and comfortable with complimentary mini bar drinks and snacks plus great cosmetics. My only area of constructive criticism would be to improve the hot selection at breakfast. Would highly recommend the hotel overall as the best in the city!

All-round a very nice stay. The room was spacious, immaculate, with high quality sheets, a great shower and an excellent layout for privacy and storage. We ate at the restaurant and I had an excellent confit duck with several very coiffable lagers, then a very substantial breakfast the next day after a very good night's sleep. The staff were attentive, extremely polite in multiple languages, and very efficient, and the hotels location was an excellent base for exploring Solothurn.

I cannot say enough about this lavish hotel. Such wonderful personnel & well appointed rooms. Staff is most accommodating, even if you request a menu alteration. The food is gourmet elegant and so delicious. Great wines & lovely buffet breakfast included. I understand there is a wellness spa available to guests, but I didn't have the time. Next time for sure!

When you walk through the doors of La Couronne you are stepping back in time. Entering from the cobblestone streets the weary traveler is graciously received by the accommodating staff. The elevator is a welcome feature for those who made the several minute walk from the train station. Bijou rooms are equipped with linens and amenities worthy of the five star rating. The breakfast (a highlight of our stay), included local products and well prepared entrees. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and efficient.
