Google
Food was amazing! Counter staff was very patient in explaining what items were and how to order. Table Server was great. Explained each item and sauces as ge brought it out.

If you're in Houston and can make it to this place do it! Amazing seasonings and spices with so many options of meat and seafood! Highly recommended. The place is always bumpin' so be patient. It's well worth it!! See y'all when I get back!!

Chris Walker

Google
At all the LA crawfish places I go to. This is the best one. And I got a basal wing in my mouth. And it's damn good and a gumbo man make you slap your mama

Marco Aguillon

Google
The shrimp and shrimp basket were sweet because their oil had been getting used all morning to fry sweet potatoes. I was there at 11 am, and I guess it was part of their prep. The shrimp and fries tasted and smelled almost like a funnel cake. Not ideal - just my opinion.

Tasarah Eggins

Google
The head on shrimp was very great as well as the crawfish fried rice. The calamari were good just should’ve been bigger in size. The fried wings was good and hot as well. I wasn’t a fan of the boiled crawfish they tasted like they were frozen(could’ve been since it’s in early in season still) and the staff was great and loved the environment!

Jenna Long

Google
It’s crawfish season 9.99lb. Joshua is so pleasant and eager to help, extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. He made great Suggestions regarding flavors. To go order -10min wait. Very flavorful and decent size crawfish, seasoned well with fresh garlic and herbs. I ordered the garlic butter and Cajun sauce Crawfish and beignets. I enjoyed getting the beignets when they have in stock. Always so tasty.

Google
Crawfish was very good-will definitely be back. Parmesan wings were a hit with my family. Was told by several people that this is their best location food wise.

Farihah Haque

Google
So good - the crawfish is a very tasty. I highly recommend doing it with Cajun/butter mix! The curry is also really tasty!

Yelp
My coworker kept bugging me to go and try this place out. Today I gave in and I was not disappointed. We each had the gumbo, Cajun corn and Cajun andouille sausage. 10s all around. I thought they had plenty of flavor/seasoning but the perfect amount of spice. Too much sodium for me to eat here on a regular basis but I will definitely keep them in mind next time I need a flavor explosion.

Angie N.

Yelp
I like this restaurant chain. My favorite thing is the fried rice b/c it's flavorful and it's a lot for the price. I hadn't tried their pho before but I was surprised by how good it is. It's a little pricey for the size but the flavor makes up for it. The service was great. The restaurant is spacious but the restrooms needed attention.

Jassir A.

Yelp
If you are craving crawfish this is a definitely a must try. Prices are a little high because the season had just started, but their sauce definitely hits the spot! The service was fast and attentive , also the establishment was well maintained .

Kingsley N.

Yelp
Well the food was good, I am a little disappointed on the price and the portions size that I got from here.. other then the the sauce was great the crabs, sausages, corn and potatoes where also good.. very spicy exactly how I like it.. The service was good, my food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant is just a normal seafood joint nothing that stands out much. Not a horrible place to go, am sure you would enjoy if you did come

David T.

Yelp
Found this place on another app and decided to give it a try. Lots of stuff on their busy menu, but with the help of the girl at the counter was able to narrow my choice to the crab boil and a bottle of beer. They did supply disposable clear plastic gloves to try and help eating the boil less messy. It did help keep my hands and fingers cleaner as I worked the crab, crawfish, and shrimp over. It also had a read potato and small corn on the cob. It wasn't overly spicey which was to my liking. I would have preferred less crawfish, which yields very little meat for the work, to something easier to get to with less work. I did leave behind some of the crawfish because I had gotten full and to me, it wasn't worth the effort of attacking the whole crawfish for less than a mouthful of meat. The gloves did help me from having my hands smell like seafood the rest of the night

D J.

Yelp
Love their crawfish!!! Been coming here for years and will continue to keep going! Best crawfish in town

Erica W.

Yelp
When I first walked into the store it smelled pretty bad. Not like bad food but more like there was a plumbing issue or something. The employees were EXTREMELY nice and welcoming. I ordered the beignets and the chicken bites. Beignets - these were not like original beignets. They are in the shape of sticks, very crunch, and have very little powder on them. They are sweet nonetheless. Chicken bites - not good at all. The food was very nasty. It smelled kind of funny. I ordered the spicy garlic which to my surprise was a dry rub so they offered me a sweet and sour sauce to add to my chicken. the sweet and sour sauce was decent but didn't really help. Overall I probably won't ever go back here.

Ali Z.

Yelp
So first of I had to convince my wife to go here because I wanted crawfish, and let me tell she was not disappointed nor was I!! David was good at what he does in the front and the cooks in the back did not disappoint. I'd give it a ten if they'd let me!!!!!!!!!

Jeannie W.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a long time. Crawfish was small and medium, 9.99 a pound with no special. Can't say anything except that I was very disappointed at the flavor of the cf. The garlicky butter cf was not flavorful at all. This in the future will not be my go to even if I'm desperate for cf. On the plus side, staff were friendly, place was clean.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Rice is OKay only. Even though they call it the Magic Cajun Rice. I didn't feel any magic. It's edible and I had to add hot sauce. Garlic noodle is a bit better with more flavor and spice. Plus a ton of grease. For Crawfish to be in their name, they really suck at it. Lots of Small broken dead crawfish with straight tails and I had to spit out lots of them. A lot of them tasted bad too like they've gone bad...I stopped eating them. One of the worker walked around and looked at everyone's crawfish since another customer had Qs about her crawfish...not sure what she asked but he said "looks like they're all like that" after inspecting a few tables. They really shouldn't be mixing in dead crawfish that's rotting. Only good thing that we had from our orders were that the shrimp was fresh. It wasn't mushy and weird tasting like the crawfish. I'll get my rice and noodles from a different place and my crawfish from a different place too. This is not the place to go if you have a crawfish craving. The food court of HK4 is better. Just not as close. Best garlic noodles I've had is from Churroholic weirdly- it's a boba tea shop. They need to up their game here. They use to be better few years ago when I last visited Add-on/ next day edit: I ended up getting some stomach issues 4-6 hours after eating and just got back from the bathroom again. I definitely won't be coming back to the restaurant for crawfish again. Not worth all the gas I had last night and stomach upset and abdominal pains either. Bad crawfish. Shrimp was fine but just knowing that bad crawfish was mixed in...makes me question the sanitation of this place. Sorry had to dock another star with this update

Sonia T.

Yelp
Small quant neighborly place in the Mid Lane area. Great service, Snow crabs , crawfish, oysters in the half shell Bloody Mary"s etc

Alyshía K.

Yelp
Omggggg this is my new addiction! The GARLIC NOODLES are bomb! I don't eat seafood so I get mine with just sausage, it's flavorful , garlicky, fresh, and spicy! Comes with a lime, and cilantro just adds to the freshness and zing to these noodles! I like to pair these with the wings Well Done dry rub- spicy lemon pepper or ranch! Their wings are not slimy, and are well seasoned! I'm a picky chicken eater, and I love their wings! Also customer service for me has always been great! Certain employees are less enthused than others, but overall the food and service is constantly good+ !

Adriana E.

Yelp
Love this place, clean, the Cajun fried chicken was really good. The broil bags were good and inexpensive. Wish I could bring them to DC!

Vinu V.

Yelp
Once again technology failed. Third time! Someone should fix this app. Not a busy night, and placed an online order. Got to the restaurant and they had not received my online order through the app even though I received a text confirmation. After a brief conversation with the a server they finally offered to give something extra. Didn't get anything in the end. One star for app performance and staff failure. Cajun Crawfish, chicken wings and magic rice. Not gonna lie food was ok.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
The food is consistent every time and prepared quickly. Service is friendly too! I usually get it to go but the times Ive eaten inside its been ok.

Kelly S.

Yelp
We love LA crawfish in general, but had an especially great experience Saturday, thanks to a particular employee. We were tired and hungry but David was warm and welcoming to us and everyone who came in after, even though it was late. And our food and drinks were delicious as always!

Jin L.

Yelp
This place is reliable for good quick fix of crawfish. Their boil has definitely gotten better from when they started. The price is very good compared to other crawfish places. It's about the same as H‑E‑B prices. I like how they soak their crawfish so the meat is very flavorful. The only thing is the crawfish was small and not as fresh. Overall, I think they are conveniently located and it's a good place to grab some crawfish without venturing far.

Ruby O.

Yelp
Food was good, this was my first time trying LA Crawfish in Houston we usually most of the go to the one in SA (since we go to SA often) Service was a lil slow and not that friendly as the other locations. But it was good, pretty busy and little loud. Price well seafood is expensive so ‍. Wings are the bomb super good different we also got some shrimp cajun style hot and ut was good. French fries were a ok.

Yelp
Let's talk about the LA Crawfish Challenge. For $21 guests are challenged to finish about 2 gallons on crawfish pho soup in 30 minutes by themselves. Sounds easy for a big eater, right? While I personally did not participate in this challenge, one of my guy friends did, and let me tell you. You can eat the soup however you want - noodles first, pour it into small bowls, broth first, whatever you want but it is BOILING HOT. I definitely recommend having a friend help you cool it down as soon as you start - get ice for the outside, keep stirring as you eat, separate it into small bowls, anything. Next tip, eat as fast as you possibly can. 30 minutes really isn't a lot of time considering the sheer volume of food that is in the bowl. Overall, I would consider this challenge next to impossible, however for $21 it's not a big loss if you don't finish and makes for a fun experience. We had a good time and would recommend it for the next time you want to make a bet or challenge with some friends.

Yelp
They can keep the magic rice!! Don't order it.. you're paying for rice and season! The sausage it sliced thinly and the crawfish tails are small then a dime!!!!!!!! In season or not.. you'd think to compensate up for it. I once loved this place but I can spend $$ elsewhere in this area. Pissed me completely off and I don't even write reviews!!

Jae Youn K.

Yelp
Great food and ambience! Not only seafood but phos and wings are awesome! Would definitely recommend

D S.

Yelp
Telephone Rd location - Complaint: ordered 4 lbs of crawfish from restaurant on Telephone Rd today to be picked up at 1100. When I arrived the lights were off and tables were covered and needless to say - order was not ready. The hurried to prepare my order. When I I arrived home w my order, the food was UNDERCOOKED and inedible! As you see, I order quite often and this was the WORST by far. I paid over $60 for food that I COULD NOT EAT.

King S.

Yelp
The wings are bomb when fresh. The Cajun rice is a bit salty but that may just be me. The shrimp comes in so many flavors it's nuts...

Frances S.

Yelp
Delicious. The crawfish pho is the perfect combo of delicious pho and peppery crawfish. The boiled seafood is great as are the fried shrimp. The fries went fast and so did the awesome garlic noodles. Their Buffalo wings were some of the best I've ever had. The fried crawfish was weirdly dry and they forgot about our oysters (but refunded us so no hard feelings). Definitely worth trying if you're in the mood for Viet/Cajun fusion but don't feel like driving for 40 minutes to west bellaire.

Requel P.

Yelp
I like coming here just to get their pick 2 options. I always get their fried oysters and shrimp with fries. This has filled me up many times after a Sunday funday. They do take a minute but it's worth it because the food be so hot & fresh. On my last visit the oysters weren't that good but it's ok. I tend to want to try other items but I never do. I wished they served catfish. That would be amazing!

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
When I want Crawfish.. this is where I come. Good house season.. never fails when choosing here

Frank J.

Yelp
On a positive note, LA CRAWFISH HAS THE BEST MELTED BUTTER THIS SIDE IF YOUR PERSONAL MICROWAVE/SAUTE PAN AT HOME Sample of LA crawfish. This is NOT how it should be done. Don't cheat yourself by visiting here if you are a true crawfish lover... You will be DISAPPOINTED!! SEASONING IS PUT ON AFTER BROILING. May as well put the seasoning in a peppermint wrapper & seal the ends to simulate the work necessary to get to "the good stuff" & call it a day. Yuckily nasty. Disappointing & just plain lazy. Anyone with a pit & a stove could do better. HAPPY HUNTING

Joiya A.

Yelp
Been to this location a few times and I always leave satisfied. This day (Sunday) I called in my order. Upon arrival there was a line out the door as usual. I walked straight in to the counter and I was helped immediately (perks of ordering before). I ordered the garlic butter snow crab legs with corn and sausage. It was EVERYTHING!!!!! The right amount of seasoning and everything was fresh! Very satisfied. The atmosphere is always nice in my opinion and they are always packed!

Katya S.

Yelp
My husband and I only come her once a year during crawfish season-which is the only time to eat crawfish in my opinion. We always order the garlic butter crawfish and it's delicious! The reason I didn't give them 5 starts is because the restaurant really could work on cleanliness.

Reza S.

Yelp
I did not realize they had pho until I saw my mechanic having pho for lunch and realized he got it from these guys. I tried their pho and o boy, it was awesome. Would definitely go back.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Omgeeee! The flavor was PERFECT! I absolutely love garlic so this gave me, my fix! This dish was amazingly! Oddly the dish was cold compared to how long it took to prepare and I wish they gave larger portions for $11! But other than that, EXCELLENT! The staff was friendly as well'

Karina T.

Yelp
This location is in plaza on Richmond at Weslayan. I work nearby and usually call ahead for takeout orders. By the time I arrive for pickup, the food is usually ready. Service is typically fast and friendly. The most unique and flavorful dish, in my opinion, is the Garlic Noodles. It's a dry noodles dish, mixed with Cajun garlic seasoning and topped with shrimp, sausages and crawfish. The crawfish flavors are tasty and wings are usually good size. The beignets are below average. They always have sports games on the screens and it's a BYOB establishment, which is nice perk.

Pipi H.

Yelp
Good size of crawfish but that noodles soup is just two bites size of amount. You can pay 1.89 for another two more bites which I did. Wings are OK.

Valeria B.

Yelp
I personally love this location. The shrimp, crawfish, fried rice, all amazing. The gumbo is so good. The best sauce is the house sauce. Their Micheladas already really good

Heather N.

Yelp
I've been craving crawfish and figured this place looked good and local and damn I was not disappointed. I ordered pick-up through their app which is super easy and convenient. I got 2lbs of crawfish in a spicy garlic boil mix that was so good. I also got a piece of corn and a potato. Both were delicious but I think they would benefit from being packaged separately rather than in the boil bag, if possible. The staff was really nice and got me my order quickly after arriving. I definitely plan to come back.

Tierza C.

Yelp
Service was great. Joshua is so nice! Didn't rush us, he even recommended LA crawfish in Austin location since we are not from here. Food came out fast. 10/10!

Candace M.

Yelp
I love this place. I've been here 3 times and every time it has been phenomenal. This time I tried the garlic noodles and it was delicious. For lack or a better way to describe it, it tasted like gourmet ramen noodles without the broth.it had little bits of thinly sliced fried garlic (if you love garlic, this is the dish to get) It was so good and I literally almost ordered a second bowl. The crab legs are always good and the crawfish pho is good but the broth and sausage bring this dish to life because the crawfish isn't really seasoned.

gabriela g.

Yelp
Great service and food! Joshua was so helpful, it was my first time eating crawfish!!! Come here, they'll treat you right.

Ema P.

Yelp
Gross. Just just just just gross. This is the most watered down and slimy crawfish I've ever had in my life. The actual Creole flavor was good but when it came down to the seafood... It was dripping just with water and it was mushy even trying to get it out of the shell was a problem. I will honestly never come here again. Yuck.

Kourtney H.

Yelp
Their crawfish is FROZEN. A place with crawfish in the name serves subpar crawfish. Ain't that something! But the rest of the menu slaps. Add garlic butter to ANYTHING and you won't be disappointed. The wings are delicious. Crab legs full of flavor. The pho and friend rice are delicious as well. But. Their. Crawfish. Is. Frozen.

Cam C.

Yelp
Coming from California where Boiling Crab and Kicking Crab is considered the standard for cajun seafood, LA Crawfish brings both to shame, the flavoring is out of this world. I ordered a base amount for 3 people, but we just keep getting extra pounds of crawfish and shrimp every so often, we couldn't stop eating. Minus 1 star because the workers were a bit rude and standoffish, but I got my delicious food, so I didn't mind as much.

Kayleigh S.

Yelp
Nicole and the staff are amazing. Tonight was one hell of a hustle and everyone one working there was amazing, friendly and very accommodating despite the rush of people. The crawfish, potatoes and corn were cooked perfectly. There are two people working the restaurant on the floor and for the two people - they made it absolutely work and they deserve credit.

Huan Chad D.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place got a such low review. The service was fast and friendly. The crawfish (garlic butter) was fresh and very flavorful without being overly buttery or garlic. I would def come back to this location

Nakita B.

Yelp
If you love garlic noodles you must try!!! The boil super seasoned if you love spicy food try it:)

Suhaila M.

Yelp
Heard great things about LA Crawfish so I decided to finally try them out. Firstly, the lady at the counter kept getting my order wrong, to the point that I was just saying yes to whatever she said because it was taking her too long to fix it. We had spicy cajun crawfish and garlic butter. The flavor was there and good, but unfortunately the crawfish wasn't great. They just won't peel. The flesh won't separate from the shell so it was really frustrating. The crawfish didn't taste fresh and they are a bit too dry. So the catch phrase "Pinch the tail and suck the head" doesn't work here. We also ordered garlic noodles, which was way too garlicky. Unfortunately, i won't be returning here :(

Jan C.

Yelp
One of my fave Cajun crawfish restaurants in the city! The food at this location never fails!

Joseph T.

Yelp
Love the food here. 2nd time there was strong bleach smell in dining area. Went to eat tonight hoping for a good dine-in experience, but again, there was smell of bleach that filled the dining area. Had to take food to go otherwise I would have thrown up if I ate there. Turns out the staff starts cleaning the bathrooms and using bleach during business hours. Looks like they started at 6:15-6:30pm. Note to OWNER: tell staff not to clean with bleach during peak dinner rush hours.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Came for a friends birthday. Even off season, there's a ton of people that come here. Got a mixed bag of things, lot of crawfish, shrimp, and fried chicken. The crawfish was somewhat disappointing, flavor isn't as intense as other viet-crawfish places. Same can be said for the shrimp. The chicken bits were quite nice though. Overall good if you don't want to drive down to Chinatown and go for viet crawfish there. Prices are fair, but definitely not up to par with other places I've been.

Nia S.

Yelp
Love this place! This review is strictly for the snow crab! I've never been a fan of mud bugs and I don't intend on starting! This was my first visit here and I really enjoyed myself. I ordered 2lbs of snow crab. (Cajun and Gallic Butter) If you're a spice fan don't even bother with the Garlic butter; just go for the Cajun! It was so spicy and flavorful! I wish I had know it was BYOB! I would've definitely brought a bottle of wine! But I'll definitely be prepared next time! (P.S. they do offer beer)

E. F.

Yelp
- I ordered 1lb of crawfish with corn & potatoes (normal spice, garlic butter & cajun style seasoning) along with Jasmine rice & Beignet fries - The crawfish was fresh & the sauce/seasoning was perfect!
