No, walkies are also for noble Londoners who actually manage to get up before 6pm on Saturdays and want to build up a bit of an appetite before they eat. Put on your most crappy trainers and head to Hampstead Heath for a leisurely stroll and some of the city's best crêpes. Legendary grab and go spot, La Crêperie De Hampstead has been serving sweet and savoury crêpes since the ‘80s and their Nutella number is one of our all-time favourite ways to spend six quid. Where To Meet Up With Someone You Swiped Right On - London - The Infatuation

"USP: It’s a public space Nothing says “no pressure” like a first date at this Hampstead crêperie. It’s been here since the beginning of time and has seen many a date involving the sweet and savoury-filled crêpes lead to a conversation on a bench inside Hampstead Heath. Because the best thing about park dates are the snacks, duh. Plus you can get all of the “how long was your journey” chat out of the way in the queue (which is usually a little wait), so you can get to the more interesting topics, like their favourite colour, while taking a stroll through the park." - Rianne Shlebak, Jake Oliver

La Crêperie de Hampstead Review - Hampstead - London - The Infatuation

"Exactly 42 minutes into any walk across Hampstead Heath your internal monologue will pause, hands on hips, and say “hungry”. And thus, the rumbly trudge to the crêperie stall begins. This place has been here since the beginning of time, and continues to sell delicious, cheesy, or Nutella-y crêpes for around £6. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Jake Missing

Google
There’s 2 crepe shops in the same location, literally right next to next other and people are posting reviews under this same location! The original crepe shop officially opens from midday, but in fact we had to wait until 12:20! Reading through the comments, seem like other people had the same experience, they should really update the opening time to 12:30. The original crepe shop takes cash only. I had the savoury crepe, ham&mushroom garlic tarragon cheese crepe. He grated the cheese fresh, very filling crepe but also quite greasy when you get to the bottom of it. Food was good, crispy on the outside and the cheese was stretchy. But the unknown long wait really puts a negative shade on the experience, the owner was very nice and welcoming though.

Google
I love crepes and these were absolutely delicious! I got Belgian chocolate and butter which was a great combo. When I went they were cash only but there’s a card machine just across the road, they’re worth the queue!

Google
Amazing crepes - crisp and flavourful! Highly recommend the garlic mushroom, cheese and ham crepe with generous filling. Staff were really friendly despite the long queue. Do note they might only accept cash as their card machine does not have signal.

Very tasty crepes but not cheap. Plus almost always you have to wait in the queue. (Stand in a line) But otherwise very friendly people and tasty food. Cash only when I visited

Google
La Creperie is the number one best in the whole of London. A massive thank you to the beautiful Martinique Empress who served me and had a wonderful insightful, intellectual conversation with. Also, the lovely man who made my Crep made it to perfection. It tasted delicious. 😋

Google
Visited quite late (arrived at 10:30pm) and were in line for about 45 minutes before we were able to order. We went with a group of friends so the time passed fine but would be boring if you were alone. Crepe was really good and was a nice treat to end the night. For being a small stall in London I think it was affordable. Will be visiting again in the future!

Google
I recently visited La Creperie de Hampstead, a famous spot that’s been serving crepes for over 43 years, and it’s still going strong! I tried the crepes with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes, as well as the spinach and mushrooms, and both were just fantastic. They offer a great variety of sweet and savory options, so if you’re in Hampstead, make sure to stop by—just be prepared for a queue, as it’s always busy! It’s definitely worth the wait. One thing to note: they accept cash only, which could be updated given the current digital times. Other than that, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving authentic crepes!

Google
This place has been dishing out top quality Crepes here de Hampstead longer than I've been breathing, and I expect it to keep going past my last it's so damn good. I sadly only tried it today for the first time in 2024, and I shared across 4 Crepes pictured (cheese spinach garlic, cheese mushroom garlic, special with pesto, & pure dark chocolate). Each crepe was divine, I fully recommended visiting here if you want the best Crepes in London. It's cutely positioned on the street outside the pub and some serious French street food. Staff are efficient and friendly, the product speaks for itself. I recommend the cheese spinach garlic crepe as it is very much style like Gratin. I prefer vegetarian food, and did well here. My life is better for these Crepes. Thank you.

Yelp
An amazing experience at a very unassuming creperie on Hampstead high street. Made to order, quick, tasty and quality ingredients. Loved the mushroom asparagus combination. So glad I live far from it otherwise I would be there daily!!!

Yelp
Ordered: Banana & Biscoff Cookie Butter Crepe (~£7) Aya's take: We were looking for a nice, light dessert to enjoy after dinner and La Crêperie de Hampstead was recommended by some locals we were with. The crepes are made fresh and they have so many sweet and savory options to choose from. We went with the Banana & Biscoff Cookie Butter Crepe which was unbelievably satisfying. Banana and cookie butter is such an amazing combination and the buttery crepe really brought it all together. There could've been more toppings throughout as most of the flavor was really in the middle (not the top) but other than that, it was a great try!

Yelp
Cool crepe spot right off Hampstead Station. First time. I tried the banana crepe with chocolate. I needed some salt for taste bugt other than that it was amazing.

Yelp
Just fantastic! I moved to this area 2 months ago and have been walking up and down the high street passing by the big queues that are outside this place....I just thought it was a touristy place and never wanted to go.... One day on a rainy day I decided to go with my fiancee as we had tried everywhere else....We had the hazlenut chocolate crepe and as we bit into it while walking home we stopped, looked at each other and we said "Oh my god" "Yum"!... it was one of the most delicious crepes I have had...the crepe itself was soft and buttery and the filling was crunchy and smooth... That was the point when I thought "I love being a local in this area"... If you come to Hampstead, its a must...

Yelp
London's best crepe . No doubt! I have cheese ham and mushroom A generous amount of cheese, the crepe was cripsy and buttery. Lovely! Worth my 40 mins queue on a sunday afternoon

Yelp
My Go-To. 'nough said. You'll probably have to be patient as a row of at least 15 to 20 people is certainly no exception ...but with good reason and well worth the wait. My fav's? Crêpe ratatouille and crêpe complet

Yelp
Get to the Chase: Pros: 1) More than 30 years in business 2) Hands down the best crepes I've ever had 3) Every time I visit London with the family, we make it a must to visit here 4) I love their nutella and banana crepe, and their savory crepes are equally as good (try the spinach, cheese, and mushroom) Cons: 1) Tends to be a long line which could easily take up to 20 min or more waiting outside 2) Not open every day (only Fri, Sat and Sun)...but that could be just recently

Yelp
I went to Paris searching for good crepes and none is better than this place in London! The crepes were amazing. I tried the savory chicken mushroom. It was heaven in my mouth. My friends told me there was a famous London rapper on the side eating it too with his entourage. Guess this place is the spot. No wonder there was a long line to get these delicious crepes. If I'm ever in town, I'll be back at this place to start my trip and again to end my trip. What a good food experience.

Yelp
LOVE!!! :) This is a tiny crepe kiosk that stays open till late, rain or shine, and is always busy because it is SO GOOD. I went there at 11pm on a dark weeknight, in the pouring rain, and there was still a long line for a crepe haha. I understand the devotion though, because this is a crepe institution, with it's delightful French staff who certainly know what they're doing. I have tried the savory crepe, which was decent, but my heart belongs to the chocolatey goodness of their dessert crepes. I can't even choose which is best, they have all been good. The yummy nutella, belgian dark, milk and white chocolate, bananas, hazelnuts, butterscotch, every combination I've tried has been delicious! Which reminds me, I need to go back, I haven't tried the white with milk chocolate combination yet....:)

Yelp
It seems to be a bit of an unwritten rule of catering that if you are just going to sell one thing - one particular item of food you are allowed to operate from something that could feasible be fitted to the back of a horse and dragged off. Think about it, burgers, hot dog stands...creperies. They're always small, mobile little joints and can be moved around. They just never are. This one's got a permanent address and everything. And to be honest the crepes at this place are so good it's tempting. This is a Hampstead institution really, it's been here since the 80's and is known for it's queues on busy days. The deal is you can either have sweet or savoury and within that there are loads of different choices, classics like suzette, ham and cheese, mushrooms, chocolate, banana, nuts, really varied. Of course everything's made right in front of you are and 1 should set you back between about £2 and £5.

Yelp
This place is an institution, and rightly so. They don't just import their ingredients from the mainland; they import their workers from there, too. These guys know how to make a crepe, and if you're in the area, it'd be criminal not to try it (the queue only shows you how many people agree with me).

Chelseaworks C.

Yelp
Visited this place today. And ordered food as I was waiting for the food I have noticed that the staff working there was more concerned about their phones and texting than in food preparation. As a result they served me a burnt pancake and when I requested a new one and have explained that it is too burned they simply refused. I can see why many people are getting a cancer this days. Please avoid this place!! NHS statement: Warning over 'burnt toast chemical' acrylamide's cancer risk. (Burned food USA cause of a stomach cancer!!)

Yelp
This crepe cart, staffed by French gals last time I checked, serves up some tasty fare. Hampstead, too, is lovely, so to nibble on a nice crepe while strolling about in an attractive area is a sure-fire hit. The only bummer nowadays would be that everyone and their mother visit La Creperie de Hampstead. The wait for food could be off-putting. :(

Yelp
I claim that I don't have a sweet tooth. I claim that I dislike anything in the 'pancake' family (this includes crepes). And yet, and yet: I MOWED MY WAY THROUGH MY PORTION OF A CREPE LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW. We opted for the "classic" chocolate and chopped hazelnut option, with Belgian milk chocolate. The crepe itself was perfectly cooked; both tender and with a crispy edge. The salted butter added just the slighted hint of saltiness to counter the sweetness of the chocolate. The nuts brought the perfect textural component. Subtle details, but so important. I'm really keen to return for a savoury option: a range of mushroom, spinach, artichoke and asparagus alternatives, for instance. I have my eye on the crepe 'complet' which is ham shoulder, cheese, and an egg all wrapped up. As the menu says: the French riff on the full English breakfast! OUI, OUI. See a queue in Hampstead? It's probably for crepes, so...get in line! Yelp note: they occasionally do buckwheat crepes as well (but were out when I went).

Yelp
Amazing crepes! Lucky we only had 2 people in front of us! The boys were super quick in making the crepes anyway so it was fine. Had the garlic mushroom, cheese and ham. They got me at 'garlic'... It was delicious! Crispy on the outside, garlicky goodness on the inside! Instantly makes you want another one!

Yelp
So the question here is do you want to have a PARTY in your mouth? ! If so, for all those visiting north London, or going to Hampstead Heath, take a minute to join the line outside this tiny stall that offers only the best pancakes in all of London. Yes I said it, all of London. You have the option to chose savoury or sweet, I always go sweet because the pancake itself has this salty zingy flavour, and the perfect combination of sweet and salty explodes in your mouth once you try it. You can also ask them to combine the different chocolate flavours for an additional 50p or so, so you needn't do plain belgian chocolate alone, you can combine it with a bit of nutella or something else on the side depending on what you are in the mood for.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy Saturday at about 3pm and there was no line, hooray! We were greeted with a very unhappy woman who looked like she did not want to be serving us. No hello, nothing. We ordered 2 savoury crepes and 1 sweet crepe, but the woman said nothing back - just started to make our crepes. I asked for all of our crepes to be wrapped up as it was raining and we were going to eat them back at the house, and I received a stern stare back without any words to acknowledge what I just asked. I am giving three stars because there was a lot of filling in the crepes and they tasted good, but not the best I've had either. Cost £16 for all three and in the chocolate and banana crepe they used real chocolate chips and banana which tasted good. The service really puts a downer on the whole business. No excuse for poor communication and unfriendly service.

Yelp
La Creperie de Hampstead, is a small little Parisian kiosk that on many a night, you may find a queue of people making you wait for up to 45 minutes, but this wait is worth it, for what may be one of the greatest pancakes experiences you have ever had. The smell is awesome, and the wait builds anticipation for that first bite. As you get closer, you can choose what kind of pancake you want, savoury or sweet. If I fancy a savoury, I will definitely be getting a sweet along with it, as it's a pancake for crying out loud! It's a desert, I always get the sweet. Once you put your order in, you have the pleasure of watching two pancake making maestros, passionately whoop up your treat. It is actually quite educational as I tend to have my eyes glued to what they are doing. I have been going here for years, and each time is as good as the next. For those of you that have been here before, well I am sure that you share my passion. For those of you who have yet to experience the Crepes of Hampstead, well, the next time you are on the Northern line Tube, get off at Hampstead, at the exit turn left, and you will see it across the road, it is a minutes walk away. During the day you may get lucky and not find a queue. It is set in Hampstead, where you can take your pancake for a lovely walk, and stop off at the nearby café's and have a coffee to wash it down. My personal rating, 11 out of 10.

Yelp
The Creperie de Hampstead is an absolute MUST. If you are a tourist, a visit to the Creperie should be on your list. And if you are a local and you haven't been, go, go, go now! Savory? Sweet???? Nom Nom Nomzzzz Just to warn you, the que can get rather long. But there's a reason why. It's well worth the wait!
google avatar

Geoff Y.

Yelp
A Hampstead institution, I hope they never close! Years... years I have been coming here, and it's always been delightful. Ham cheese and a little bit of garlic mushrooms is my galette of choice here, always quickly made, always fresh, always hot and tasty. If there is a craving from my sweet tooth, some nutella and chopped nuts is the way to go. Stand in line, don't complain and you'll soon have it in your hands. These guys need to spend time to properly make your crepes, but they are efficient. They only have 2 crepe stations though, and it can take a little time if you have a group, generally the crepe is made on the first and then moved to the second for the filling.

Yelp
Save yourself a trip across the Channel. The crepes at this cute little kiosk in Hampstead Heath are the real deal. In fact, if you consider crepes in France as the real deal, then these Hampstead ones might be even more real and a better deal. Sweet fillings are good, of course, but I always go for the savoury: ham, cheese, mushrooms, garlic... I think it's because the first crepe I ever had (while in Paris on an exchange trip) was savoury. With your crepe(s) in hand, take a stroll around the area. It's really cute: cozy cafes and pastry shops with enticing window displays. From the tube station, walk down the hill, and you'll see the stand. If you don't see it, it's because it's obscured by the long queue of hungry tourists and regulars. You'll see why.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Little stall in Hampstead that always has a queue but well worth the wait. I usually have a very sweet tooth and go for the dessert over starter 99% of the time, but at this place the savoury options won me over. I had a spinach, garlic, cheese and cream crepe, the crepe itself was really tasty and crisp yet fluffy. As a lover of all things spinachy or garlicky this crepe was perfect. The service is quite blunt, but when you see they are making 4 crepes simultaneously you understand why! Give this place a visit and you really won't regret it!
google avatar

Louise Q.

Yelp
If you visit Hampstead and don't have a crepe from here then you haven't really been to Hampstead...simple! This place is a local institution, as evidenced by the local outrage when the pub tried to evict them. The queue is always long so if you do ever spot a short one jump at the chance. At weekends it can go around the corner, but it is definitely worth the wait. I always swear I'm trying a new one but I always end up with banana & milk chocolate. Yum! More recent claim to fame was a visit from Ashton & Mila when they were filming here :)

Yelp
This tiny stand in the centre of Hampstead usually has a huge queue of people, and for good reason. I've queued there many times, and was never disappointed. They make genuine French crepes, either sweet or savory, and everyone I've taken there has had the same reaction as me: I want more. Asparagus and cheese, ham and cheese, mushrooms and cheese, chocolate and banana, chocolate and creme; there are dozens of types, including choices of chocolate. You can get them wrapped to eat right away, or put in a take-away container. The price is right, the options are great, and the taste is out of this world. If only the queues weren't so long, I'd give it 5 stars (I can't always wait 30 minutes to be served).

Yelp
This is one of the little gems of Hampstead that has been around for years and is in every Official visit Hampstead Tour Books (I have 3 for London and all mention this place). Tucked down a side street near the King William IV pub is a little portable crepe cafe. You know when it's open as there is always a long queue of people waiting for their crepe. They do both savory and sweet. It's open Friday, Sat & Sunday.
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
Sweet jesus, crepes that are worth the plane ride to get here. Tucked into a corner of Hampstead, La Creperie, is simply a stand manned by 2 French guys, but the magical crepes are delicious. Regardless of whether you think yourself above this seemingly simple French delight, get a crepe. I did dark chocolate and banana (3 types of choco to choose from, dark, milk, and white, all godly)--and within 3 steps of the cart I looked like a child enjoying chocolate for the first time as my entire face was covered in its chocolately goodness and dear lord was it good. Nath enjoyed the crepe suzette and was thrilled with his somewhat cleaner experience. Nice selection of savories as well. Like Nike said, just do it.

Yelp
So, this is my first Yelp review in almost two years. I don't even live in London anymore. La Creperie de Hampstead is kind of a really big deal. I lived in Hampstead when I studied abroad at King's College London and King William IV quickly became one of my favorite local pubs. I noticed the long queues for this little crepe stand from the pub windows one day and knew I HAD to eat here. Even though I ADORE Nutella on just about everything (I have been caught, on more than one occasion, eating straight out of Costco-sized jars... without a spoon), I definitely recommend the savory crepes over the sweet ones here - there is something truly magical about the giant pats of butter and generous heapings of cheese that go into every savory crepe that you just have to experience for yourself! I am not ashamed to admit that I still dream about Hampstead crepes sometimes. I loved how the crepes were served in paper cones with tiny forks, and my favorite spot to eat them was on the metal bench in front of Gail's. The bench faced Hampstead Station was the perfect spot for people-watching on Hampstead High Street. Learning how to unravel the perforated paper cones with expertise took a little practice, but I was a pro by the time I had to say goodbye to London and return to California. Honestly, these street crepes were WAY better than any crepe I tried in any Francophone destination I visited while I was abroad - crepes in Paris, Lyon, or Brussels simply could not compare to the perfectly crispy crepe cones coming from this little North London gem. Note: their mushrooms come from a can. People can be very weird about mushrooms (for instance, I personally cannot eat raw mushrooms because the texture reminds me of fleshy human ear lobes and really freaks me out!), so do not order mushrooms as a topping if you cannot handle the canned fungus!
google avatar

Tasha D.

Yelp
What a fantastic place. Yes it's touristy and without a doubt there will be a good ten minute queue...but worth the wait. Although I'm normally a nutella girl myself, it's ALL about the banana butterscotch cream dream. I'm salivating just thinking about it as I type this review! Some of the fillings are out of a can / jar, but don't let this put you off. They taste fabulous.
google avatar

JP S.

Yelp
Proper crêpe. I haven't had a better crêpe outside of France. I usually get the crêpe complète which contains cheese, ham and egg. The pancakes are cooked expertly on hot plates before they fold all the ingredients into a tasty wedge you take away and guzzle down. The crêperistas are fundamentally French; which means they know what they're doing and can be authentically rude. This is a good thing, if they are being friendly or polite it means the quality of crêpe suffers. I can only complain about the lack of galettes, and the size of the queue sometimes, which is just not acceptable when you need your hit of crêpe to sooth the withdrawal symptoms. Crêpes are generally less than £4 and they only take cash.

Yelp
I'm going to be working next to here again, I'm going to be working here again, cha cha cha. It made me fat last time and it will do again, Asparagus crepe's FOR THE WIN!

Yelp
I have one word. BUTTERRRRROOOMMMGGGDDRROOOOLLLL The best crepe I have ever had. Super buttery and tasty and messy and perfect. I always get the ham with garlic mushrooms and cheese. so good. Just not good date food, unless he's eating something similarly garlic-y...then it cancels itself out. right? god I hope so cause Im going to eat it anyway. There are various benches and bus stops around the area that you can sit on if its not too busy. But its easily eaten while walking around this pleasant neighborhood. watch out towards the end though it gets drippy. It's about £4.50 I think. Can't remember but would gladly pay more for this delight. I know! Just for you I will go back this weekend and find out that price for sure. See how I take care of you yelpers?! So loving.

Yelp
I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews for this admittedly cute, French-speaker manned crepe station. It was fun to hear them bitch about their lives, unknowing or uncaring that French speakers like myself could eavesdrop. I've had crepes aplenty, most in Montreal where crepes are easy to find and quite good. The defining quality of the crepe, to me, is a delicateness of texture and a harmony of complimentary subtle flavours inside. I wasn't too enthused, then, when I watched her slam a giant stick of butter on the hot plate that my crepe entirely absorbed, presumably to crisp it enough to hold it's shape.. and then it sat there turning into cardboard for way too long. Then, my cheese and spinach filling were much too abundant, creating a heavy mass of goop whose texture almost entirely took over the experience. Never mind that my very first bite, the lip of the crackled crepe alone, proved to be much too salty and of course, greasy from the butter overdose. If you want some lead in your stomach (savory) or a giant sugar buzz (sweet) to fuel your wanderings, fine, go for it. But if you want a proper experience, find a place where the crepe is light, and the filling carefully considered in proportion. Not this place.

Yelp
I am a little surprised by all the glowing recommendations. 'La Creperie de Hampstead' is certainly popular, but is neither an ideal way to savour a pancake (outside) or for that matter quality worthy of 5 or even 4 stars. I tend to go for the sweet options like Banana, chocolate & cream as I find the savoury versions just to "sloppy" for my standards. Part of the charm must be people walking down Hampstead High Street and seeing a queue and thinking: "Whats this?" "OK, I will have a crepe too". The thing being there are NOT many places to have a French style pancake in London, so if you fancy a different snack it is a nice change. Personally, if I am in the mood I would rather head to Chelsea, Kensington OR Bloomsbury which all have a branch of pancake chain 'My Old Dutch'. They are superior in taste, quality and you can eat inside! This kiosk is cheaper, though and I do recommend trying them at least once if you are in the area and in the mood. Finding a suitable place to eat one may be your biggest challenge.

Yelp
Had a ratatouille crêpe and it was AMAZING. I've never had anything like it. Such a good combo of two French classics. The cheese was really savory and the crepe was perfectly light and scrumptious.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG my first real French crepe. It is quite different from the crepes I got in Harajuku, Tokyo but nonetheless delicious. A bit heavy, I saw the guy smack a big slice of butter onto the pan thingy. I had the sweet crepes, hazlenut dark choco cream and wow, I haven't ate this much chocolate in one sitting, they actually use real pieces of chocolate and it starts to melt slowly once cooked. MMMmm is all i gotta say. Also the best is to order one and take a picnic at the beautiful hampstead heath. I was in heaven, (luckily it was a sunny day)

Yelp
The best crepes in London - and maybe France! La Creperie is a traditional Parisian street creperie located in Hampstead Village. It has been in Hampstead Village for over 30 years! And, if you don't trust my review, just walk by. There is always a line - which means it is in high demand! It's a treat for dessert (I recommend the milk chocolate and banana, or dark hazlenut creme). The ham and Gruyère cheese, which is my favourite, is also great for a quick lunch. Expect to pay about £3.50 - £4.00.

Yelp
This Hampstead institution is well worth a trip. When the crepes are buttery crisp and filled with delicious savoury fillings - it's about as good as street food can get. I always get the crepe complete, which is ham, egg and cheese, though I've had it without ham recently as to be honest the ham is cheap supermarket bland stuff, which I think detracts from the overall flavour (my bf feels the same about the asparagus). But stick to basics and it's a taste sensation. If you come at a busy time, waits are often about half an hour, and there's obviously nowhere to sit, though plenty of benches around (or green spaces if you can manage not to eat it immediately). So I wouldn't do it all the time but it's a good treat and definitely worth it if you're new to the area.

Yelp
This place is not hype. It's the real thing. If you are in London, this is where you need to be at some point. The line gets long, the wait is worth it. Both. Sweet and savory crepes are good. I suggest getting both, one for dinner and one for dessert. Yes.

Yelp
Expect to wait a long time but it's totally worth it! The crepes are just gorgeous, made in front of you and by obvious professionals. You might as well grab a pint from the pub next door to sip while you wait. But these are really must-try crepes, I suggest you do it at least once. Just don't... eat anything beforehand!

Yelp
Expect to wait a long time but it's worth it. If you dont know Hampstead you might miss the little hut tucked away next to a pub but you will no doubt see an endless queue of people. The Crepes are superb with an extensive list of toppings to choose from both savoury and sweet. I went for milk chocolate and bananas priced at £4.50. I personally think there should be one on every corner of London.

Yelp
Love this little stand. Went in January around New Years & had a wonderful banana & Nutella crepe. The first time I had a crepe from this stand was back in 2005 & so happy it's still rolling out delicious crepes. The line was a bit long, but honestly it was maybe a 10 min. wait. I'm not much of a savory type of gal, I stick with the classic and it was delicious like I remembered it. I came all the way from Richmond Park to enjoy my crepe. This is a must for Hampstead Heath & crepe fans!

Yelp
So, so, so good. If you ate here every day, you would have a heart attack for sure. They slice butter *lengthwise* for the grill... Which, of course, results in delicious crepes with just the right amount of crispiness. The service is rather brusque, but they're churning out crepes as fast as they can for the unending line of customers. Finally, I would advise against any of the savory crepes that have cream rather than cheese... The mess you're liable to make is not worth the calories saved via said mess.

Yelp
A must visit in Hampstead. The crepe stand is a tradition here I love any of the savory ones with asparagus. The service is quick and its very reasonable for one of the most expensive areas in London. All you need to do is find a place to eat it.

Yelp
La Creperie has been in Hampstead for as long as I can remember, and I have always wondered why there are no permanent place, but I guess that is all part of the experience. Being stood in a queue, often a bit chilly outside, jealous of those just about to tuck into the sweet and savoury crepes, waiting patiently alongside mothers equipped with wet wipes and tissues for the messy, sticky delights to be devoured... If you have a sweet tooth like me, you can get white, milk, dark chocolate, with nuts, or maple and bananas, butterscotch cream or the class lemon and sugar. You can even be naughty and have some rum! If you are to have an indulgent snack/lunch you could go for mushrooms, garlic and cheese, even the likes of asparagus, although that's not my fave veg in the world... There are plenty of variations and that is why I am back there a few times a month ! ..oh yeah, you will need some extra tissues ! Enjoy !

Yelp
The smell from the hut alone will draw you in!! This place is a must if you like good quality chocolate oozing from your crepes!!! I've seen previous reviews regarding how long the line is but when I went there was only 3 people in front of me so did not wait more than 5 minutes.

Yelp
The wait is massive...so prepare to wait. Also, don't judge a book but it's cover. This place doesn't look like much but the crepes are very very yummy. The crepes are big and decently priced. We tried the mushrooms garlic ham, the crepe complete (egg, ham, cheese) and the Belgian chocolate with banana. they were all delicious! the Belgian chocolate was amazing. it wasn't a syrup it was actually chocolate chips you would use to make fancy hot chocolate. I highly recommend it. the staff is really nice and polite and they move fast! the total amount for 3 crepes was 16£.

Yelp
I love crepes! If I had to be a food, I would be a crepe! (I really would) This is one of the best places in London to get a crepe. Not too far from Hampstead station and fantastic in summer. There is only one reason why I gave it four stars. I go here regularly (Remember I love crepes :P) and they have recently recruited a new crepe maker, and well it just wasn't very good :( it was too thick. Don't let this put you off, I am sure he will get better :) this place is very authentic and I will of course go back. There are a few benches but there really isn't many places to sit so not great in winter. This is a great place in summer though. You need to go here if you like a good crepe :)

Yelp
Honestly one of the best crepes ever! The french transplants that run this place do a perfect job of making that cheesy, garlicy, mushroomy perfection inside a equally perfected crispy crepe! The quality of the ingredients really sets it off...obviously the most important...the CHEESE. Its a good swiss cooked with garlic butter! Need I say anymore. Lets continue with the crepe itself, as the batter is the other great half. The crepe is perfectly crispy but holds its form! If you're ever in the area....grab a bite from here. Also if you're feeling something sweet, you should work up to those nutella crepes that taste oh so good! Then talk a little with the workers, who continually speak in french with their co-workers, some parisians, some senegalese. Use your french and they'll continue the conversation with you!
