The food is delicious!!! Emphasis on delicious! The food is prepared fresh everyday. You won't leave disappointed. Jennifer the owner, is such a sweetheart. She will make sure you and your stomach are satisfied! Highly recommend this place. They also cater!

Young lady serving food not pleasant and most Hispanic eateries normally give you more rice for your buck. Will not be returning. The food was ok not exactly the best. The only thing I can say they offered liver which most don't offer and the gentleman I spoke to over the phone was quite friendly and helpful. Any place I go were not frequent which has folks with attitude I normally don't return.

Love this place. Food is delicious. A lot of people from my job, MLK school up the street come here. 5 dollars gets you a small plate of rice beans and meat. As a vegan I get rice beans and plantains. 7 dollars gets you a bigger plate. The atmosphere is always chill. The people who eat there are really cool and so are the workers. The kitchen is visible with hard working Dominican mothers and grandmothers 😄. It's authentic.

Please don’t go here! That family is such scammers. 1st they told me the price was $23 then they charged me $28. I asked for the receipt the girl tried to be slick. Then she gave me 3 plates when I only asked for 2. Then said that I said 3 so she couldn’t put the food back SMH! The food is burned and doesn’t taste good. Go somewhere elSe! No napkins or utensils 🥄

Yelp
Another day, another Spanish restaurant! It's a true blessing to live around wonderful Dominican/Puerto Rican restaurants. My son loves arroz con pollo. He can eat it everyday. When I walked in, it was a little cozy restaurant with 6-7 seatings. It was lunch time so there were a few tables occupied. I was there to get lunch to go. I wish I took more pictures of the hot bar. The two lovely ladies there were nice and helpful. I wish I knew they had a lunch menu because the gentleman that came in after me, he asked for the lunch portion. Next time! I got stewed chicken and white rice/beans for $19. It's the dinner portion. Not sure if I could have gotten sides like sweet plantains or yucca. A little language barrier. For $19, I'm assuming it should come with it but didn't. That's ok! Next time ima make sure to ask. One of the ladies that came out after knew English but it was too late because I already paid for my order. My whole order came out to be $30. This included the stewed chicken, side order of spaghetti, and side order of tuna mac salad. Everything was delicious. The stewed chicken was good but compared to my other places, this is probably 4th on the list. A little too salty. The spaghetti was really good. If you never had Dominican spaghetti before, I highly you to go try! Tuna salad at this spot was really good. So far the best I've had. Will definitely come back here to try other things! Especially the lunch menu. Downfall was, I didn't see a menu. Looked around for 5 minutes but couldn't find it lol

Yelp
" Hispanic authentic cuisine, you'll feel like your eating at " abuelas house " The food here is really tasty . It also tastes fresh . The prices are a bargain. The portion sizes are generous. The staff is so friendly and just plain happy to see you , lol. The vibe is so warm . Like I said it feels like you're at your " abuelas house ". Only you don't get asked when you're having her great grand children . Plus you don't have to sit on chairs with plastic on them , lol. Parking is manageable. Just always please read the signs before parking .

Yelp

Yelp
Excellent food and service spotless in the front and in the back with a wide variety of Dominican Staples and comfort foods. Also available fruit milk shakes that expertly made and ready made food cafeteria style and made to order food like I got today Chicken Crackling and Fried Plantains I got an excellent Zapote milk shake which I forgot to take a picture of. Give them a try you will be glad you did. Tell them Havy from Bonao sent you.

Yelp
Small but mighty authentic Dominican restaurant. Come here for no frills cooking that'll remind you of your abuelita. Had the sancocho with a side of white rice. It was so good that i had to take an order home for my Sunday resaca cure. Stick to the buffet, everything looked authentic and tasty.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. You know the food is good when someone's aunty is in the back bringing out the large vats of saucy stewed meats and freshly fried pastelitos. It is a no frills place, so the ingredients shine through. Music is pretty loud in there so you have to raise your voice a little to order but that's always okay.

Yelp
The food was so flavourful and the chicken was soft and busting out with flavor. The white rice went so good with the beans. the service was good but not alot of customers when the food was so good!

Yelp
Great Mofongo! Look forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Good location close to the zoo.

Yelp
The food was more than amazing, along with the prices being highly affordable especially for the size of the plates!! You won't be disappointed stopping in! 100% recommend the chicharrón!

Yelp
Food here is good, the people are kind and the prices are fair. I think the prices for plates range from 6,8, and 12. But no matter what it's a ton of food. The inside is always clean and I really have no complaints. Maybe they could give you more meat but that's everywhere lol. Go here!

Yelp
Not only did I call in advance and ask if a vegetarian option of the empanadas could be made but I was told yes and they would be cooked fresh so it would take 10 mins! I arrive and it had ham in it. Once brought up to the employee she then stated " that's how they come"! Too lazy to accommodate their customers. WASTE OF TIME AND DRIVE!!!!! Literally threw everything out! My rice beans, my partners order! So disappointed with customer service!
