La Cucina Italiana

We enjoyed our visit. The inside is a little bare boned but thats okay. And the wait was a little long but the food was fresh. Everything was delicious but I wouldn't say we were particularly blown away. We wouldn't mind coming back for some casual good food. Can never go wrong with fresh yummy Italian! Pictured is the bread, mozzarella sticks, empanadas, pasta gorgonzola, and the pasta pescatori.

If you aren't in a rush, this is the place to eat dinner! Our waitress was also the bartender. Margarita was a 6/10. One waitress/bar tender for the entire place. One food runner. Bread was amazing. Salads were good (Caesar salad [could have used extra dressing] 7.5/10, salad with Italian 7/10). Chicken parm, 10/10. Yummm. Chicken Involtino, 10/10. Amazing. One of best entrees I've ever had. Hidden gem. If you have time and can be patient, the entrees are the BEST. Run here. So good.

La Cucina Italiana was great place to eat. The bartender was a phenomenal waitress that answered all our questions. Mozzarella sticks were very crispy. The chicken Milanese was crisp and flavorful. The cavatappi al forno cremoso was creamy with burst of onion and bacon flavors. Think of a quiet atmosphere with just the right lighting to have a romantic dinner

Food is pretty good here, we stopped in for something new and were happy with our food. My burger was delicious and my wife had a shrimp dish that looked good too. I'll post the names of the dishes in the captions. We will be back again to try other plates.

I went to this place to try something new and close to where I was. This is in a plaza with other businesses, so there is parking available and it's free. I arrived very close to their closing, but they were so kind! Adam was. He assured me it was fine to order. I ordered the classic alfredo, a cubano, and another pasta dish that I don't recall the name of. The second pasta dish had cheese, peas, caramelized onions, and a spiral pasta. That was the one I ate. It was good! I would return and I would order that again. All of the food seemed cooked to order. The order comes with moist pieces of bread. It was decent, but I was having pasta so I only had a bite. I was informed the alfredo needed seasoning and we didn't care for the cubano the way it's prepared here. I'm very appreciative of your time and patience. THANK YOU for serving us. We will return earlier than close to order again.

Pleasantly surprised at this unplanned stop after we had a desire for Italian food. The house made complimentary bread was super tasty and ooozed Italian flavor! I got the Pasta Pescatori. The seafood taste popped through nicely and the pleasantly spicy sauce did not overpower. The pasta tasted homemade (I did not ask) and supported the dish. My wife ordered the same and thoroughly enjoyed hers. My son had the Beef Bolognese. I smuggled a taste and found it to be one of the better ones I've ever tried. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I don't get into Murfreesboro often, but I will be sure to hit up La Cuciana Italian when I do.

What a gem. So glad we found this staff friendly Italian restaurant. Excellent menu with a good variety. And reasonably priced items. Pasta a la vodka was delizioso !! As was the beef short rib dish !! And the homemade tiramisu!! Fantastic!

Great Italian food. I had the Chicken Parmesan and my friend had Chicken Toscano. Our food was made fresh and included delicious freshly baked bread. The dishes were so tasty and presented beautifully. Elizabeth (our server) was very friendly and attentive. She also took time to answer several questions regarding the menu. In addition to the delicious food the atmosphere and service was great. We went on a Friday evening and there was even some live entertainment. I will definitely be going back!

Every time my family and I eat here I'm impressed. Fresh pasta and scratch made sauces. This place is legit! See you next week!I'll post pics next time - I just dug in tonight

Nothing was good, absolutely terrible food even disgusting climbs oraganata und cooked. Linguine and clams the garlic was burnt causing whole dish to be bitter. My friend had some kind of creamo pasta dish that was completely unbeatabl. IT WAS MACARONI AND CHEESE WITH A BIT OF VEGGIES Service was ok. Ambianc, I have been in nicer truck stop choke and pukes that were nicer. Al and all, STAY AWA!!! FIRE THE CHEF.... Truly doesn't deserve 1 star.

Great food, cool atmosphere, service was slow but the waitress said they were short handed, so it's understandable. Will return.

When it was a Cuban restaurant it was AMAZNG. Tasted like restaurants I'd gone to in NYC. Ordered today. The Cuban sampler was blander than we came to expect. Tried the Chicken Francese. It was on a bed of pasta. The pasta had so much salt, it was INEDIBLE!! Had my wife try it. She agreed. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Amazing service! People are so kind friendly and respectful, excellent Ambiance, definitely great Food and Service. I definitely recommend it.

My friend and I went today excited to try this restaurant and it was closed. It was Wednesday at 11:30am. Very disappointed.

We ate there on Friday, 5/30/25, my 18-year-old daughter got food poisoning. We are pretty sure it was the clams. Her friend had the muscles, and he was fine. She had a dish with muscles and clams, and within 3 hours, she was vomiting. She vomited a fee more times and was miserable all day yesterday. Other than that the food was tasting and no one else got sick. The service was also very good and the waitress was sweet and attentive. Maybe they just need to check their source or handling of the clams.

Excellent food and service! Large portions and piping hot food! The bread they served in the beginning was delicious too!

OMG, people of Rutherford County. Yall have got to get here. Garlic bread comes to the table, ordered the empandas (beef), ham croquettes, Italian soup, fried chicken with spicy manaria sauce melted cheese. The entire meal was absolutely wonderful.

Went here Valentines Day 2025 and took my wife for some 5 star Italian food. Well the 5 star does not apply to this restaurant. After ordering are food we waited 45 minutes for it to come, very small portion for the price and no salad with entree and very little bread while you waited for your food, Ambiance was low kinda like a bar or fast food scene. Definitely not what I expected and will never go back, There is much better restaurants out there
