We stumbled across La Cuisine because we rented a vrbo a few doors down and the mouth-watering smell of the onion soup coming through the open windows drew us in. What a lucky find! The vibe is amazing, the service is friendly, and the onion soup is as delicious as we had hoped. I wish I lived close enough to make this a regular hangout.

Amazing place for great beer and some simple grilled cheese 🧀 😋 when we got there, the person who was working was all by himself and it was VERY busy. But he was very friendly and had a great attitude 😊💕 Also, the outside sitting area is dog friendly. Will definitely come back again when visiting Quebec city.

I hoped in here in a rainy summer day. The lady in charge was so welcoming and kind that I felt I am visiting my sister. She was bilingual. The place is so cozy and have a nice energy. The decorative is pleasing. I ordered lasagna and poor man cake with maple syrup. It felt really home made. I will get back there again and would love to try all the foods on the menu.

I went to the La Cusine for lunch and my family had a great experience. I loved the soul of the day. The food was delicious and the price super reasonable for what is offered. Comparing that with Toronto prices, it looks cheap. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu. The space has a cool atmosphere. If I go to in Quebec City again I’ll definitely return there.

One of the best restaurants in Quebec that is Very good in taste and friendly on pocket. We tried their onion soup, mushroom soup and cabbage cigar and two desserts all for 50 bucks. The cabbage cigar is a must eat

Decor was cute. Food was well below average and overpriced. Would not recommend to anyone who likes to actually eat and enjoy food. We ordered a grilled cheese that was sadly made with processed cheese slices...so sad. We ordered what I thought was cabbage rollS...which came as 1 small cabbage roll with piping hot pureed sweet potatoes, canned tomato soup quality " tomato sauce" for $16.47 ...just brutal. No option for zero stars or that is what I would have to give in all honesty. Also feel sad they have the audacity to call this cuisine " Quebecois comfort food" Do not waste your money here.

we got the lasagna, shepard's pie, tomato soup, and nachos. everything was average: lasagna was mostly tomato sauce and not enough of the other things, nachos lacked sufficient cheese, shepherds pie was steaming hot geriatric slop (we still ate it all). tomato soup was FIRE though. relative to the other restaurants in the tourist part quebec city, i guess it was pretty okay for the price ($20 after tax and tip per person). the environment is much more memorable though. waiter was very nice, decor was so fun and warm and inviting. why aren't all restaurants decorated like this
