"Come and bask in the light of the very pleasant Réverbère, whose entirely redesigned interior is modern and light. Enjoy the chef’s creations, which rely heavily on local produce. He works with several local farmers to serve up generous and tasty dishes that are full of flavour." - Michelin Inspector
Exxtemely nice hotel in the centre area of town. No parking at the hotel, but plenty of free parking nearby (less than 100mtrs). The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated, well fitted with storage and a really nice shower room. The 1st time in France we have seen a room 12b (instead of 13). Dinner was a gastronomic delight (on the terrace) with a delicious white wine. The Chef and his wife are superbe hosts, very quietly spoken and just delightful people.

We came to this restaurant by chance, having asked advice about the best places to eat from the chateau owner of the degustation we were doing in nearby Madiran. We arrived later than is normally appropriate for out evening meal but were welcomed warmly all the same. We chose the degustation menu and were able to get a good overview of what was on offer locally in the region both in terms of food and wine. Everything was prepared with care and beautifully presented. Beautifully put together and full of flavour. We were the only English speaking table in a restaurant of French speakers; usually a good sign. We'd definitely go back again if in the area and can highly recommend.

We ate a delicious dinner here. Local friends worked with the chef in advance to ensure we would have a vegetarian meal (for me) and a gluten-free meal (for my celiac husband). They accommodated us with grace. The omnivores (our French friends) seemed to enjoy their meals too. We did not stay at the hotel, so this review is for the restaurant only.

We spent a delightful stay at Le Reverbere for a week. The hotel is very clean, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is excellent. In August,my huqband and I enjoyed another stay at Le Reverbere. This time we stayed for 2 weeks while attending the Marciac Jazz Festival. The hotel continues to be well maintained and cared for. The the owners are as charming and unobtrusive as ever. We had some very good meals in the restaurant as well. Le Reverbere continues to be our hotel of choice for this area.||Marie & Francois Gregoire

Great staff, very, very helpful. Restaurant was nicer than expected, seems to be the 'nice' place in town for locals to eat at. Good place to consider if you'd like an inexpensive, quiet spot as a jumping-off point to explore the area by car.

Le Réverbère restaurant is light and airy.||||The lunch menu offers a small choice of starters, main courses and deserts and is served relatively quickly. This was particularly useful for a business lunch.||||The chicken could have been better cooked.||||The service is quick and unobtrusive.

Vic en Bigorre is a snapshot of recession hit France in 2013. This once thriving town now comprises shops for sale and rent or goods for sale.||Le Reverbere is a much better establishment than its unprepossessing exterior suggests. It is worth a stay just for the restaurant where the food and wine list were first class. Charming owners, we had a good overnight stay at the start of a cycling tour. The rooms are fine; nothing opulent but given the prices they are adequate.
