La Delice Pastry Shop

It's a clean bakery. They have a good variety of pastries. The service is okay, I've experienced better. Usually people working in bakeries are more joyful and helpful. I took home the Baba Rum with custard. The Baba Rum itself was moist and delicious but the Custard was on the thick side. Prices are reasonable. I guess it'll do for a neighborhood bakery.

I'm not a frequent patron, though I haven't had a bad tasting experience at this establishment. The language barrier with the counter persons on my visits was underwhelming, but the products purchased were ok - in the past I've tried their macaroons. Just recently, I tried their Russian Fruit Cake, I believe that's what it was, and it was delightful. Overpriced, in my opinion, as it's sold $10/lb. This sliced pictured was small but weighted, apparently, and it was nearly $11.

Absolutely my favorite bakery shop in New York. Highly recommend! So many delicious options. The selections and display are unbelievable. The ingredients and flavors are wonderful and all of my colleagues loved them! These were a hit!

I am beyond grateful to Junior and the staff at La Delice for creating a beautiful and yummy cake for my husband’s retirement. Our dinner guests loved the cake and it was truly special to us. This is definitely my new go-to cake shop/bakery! The service was top notch and the price-point was a amazing for such talent. The cake was ready early and was wrapped with care. I highly recommend this bakery. Get there for a yummy treat soon! The smells are sooooo good and the little shop is a visual delight! Thank you, Junior!!

I’m not usually the type to write a bad review but, don’t come here for macarons. They don’t have them on display because they’re very unattractive, old, and dry. I ordered a pound to give to a friend as a gift and saw that I was going to need to pick and choose the good looking ones so I asked for an extra small box instead of sending back what I said I’d buy. Was refused the smallest cardboard box. I couldn’t even pay for it I just wasn’t allowed to have a 4 inch box after making a purchase. It doesn’t even make sense.

If I could give negative stars I would. I went there on Christmas Eve to get pastries with my service dog. The owner threatened me with a sanitation fine if I didn't leave with her. My lawyer called later in the day to remind them it is illegal to kick out a service animal. There are so many better bakeries to support that will treat you better- go anywhere else.

It’s crazy to see so many review pointing out the mold and bugs in the food, yet the shop is doing nothing about it. It’s a very very simple rule of business. Focus on quality over quantity. Don’t lose your business in dividing your attention to so many mediocre products let alone a health hazard with mold and bugs. Focus on a few good clean products. How is the health department allowing this? My girlfriend got carrot cake and rainbow cake and they both had a very stale and moldy taste to it. I would highly recommend rethinking your business strategy before you get shut down. That would be sad to see and it looks like it’s getting close to that point right about now. Response to Owner : Here's the thing, facts all point against everything you just said. You said 90 years in business, that's actually even worse. You would think by now you have it mastered. But yet there's literal pictures of maggots and mold uploaded by your recent customers. Are you going to tell me that is fake? Outside your shop window you can see the condensation dripping on the inside creating the perfect environment for mold. And we clearly saw the same cupcakes sitting there 5 days later in the window. You can tell by the layers on them that it was the exact same shape and placement. Many health violations agains your business. I am not proud to be sitting here writing all of this. But this could spare someone from getting sick from eating your food. You are completely delusional and have a defense response to every review. Again I say, you might want to check yourself before you guys shut down.

Good cakes and treats at this simple and humble family run old school cake shop and bakery. We typically get Birthday cakes for our team here. The prices are quite low, friendly staff and tastes reasonably good. Quick service too, as they made a new cake within 4 hours of our order. They also have a lot of tons pastries ($2.5-4.50) such as cake slices, eclairs, cannoli, cream puffs etc and cookies.

Decided we needed dessert after having dinner and dropped by La Delice Pastry for some great sweets. Got a pound of rainbow cookies which were a bit on the expensive side but still a great treat overall. There's a wide selection of pastries to choose from and would love to come back to try other items if I'm in the area. Small shop, but definitely a myriad of choices!

This bakery has been around since 1935. It's a small place with no seating. This was originally an Italian bakery but they have added other items to cater to the customers. Nowadays they have a decent selection with all types of pastries - muffins, danishes, cannolis, donuts, cookies, challah bread and more. They also specialize in custom cakes. In general, you choose the cakes that are already on display and they add decorations and handwriting to them. The selection is good but these pastries are not the freshest. As other reviews have mentioned, a lot of the items have been sitting around awhile. I would rather go to a bakery with a lot of foot traffic like Ferrara or Veniero's to guarantee freshness.

We stumbled upon this bakery by accident. The cookies and pastries looked magnificent so we went in and purchased some Italian cookies. The cookies side not disappoint! The chocolate one and chocolate sprinkled cookie with raspberry filling were my two favorite cookies of the 4 I purchased. My sister was very pleased with her Italian wedding cookies. Additionally, the clerks were very friendly and they did a nice job packaging the cookies. I highly recommend this shop. Finally, their cakes looked superb!

I first noticed this pastry in the neighborhood because of their weirdest frog cakes in the window display - you will find the pictures of them on google - frogs in flashy pink or green colors with their tongues stuck out. I couldn't stop laughing each time when I passed by the window. I eventually made this place a regular, especially for a little indulgence with coffees in the mornings of weekend. This greek pastry shop looks really old school and it reminded me where my mom brought me to when I was a kid. The ladies who run this shop are super nice and patient, they insisted boxing my cakes and stringing the box carefully just like what we usually had in old times for delicate pastry boxes for the holidays. It makes my each cake indulgence more like a festive ritual now. My favorite pieces here are the tres leches cake and the mini baba rum. The bottom layer of the tres leches cake tastes like ice cream and it does melt. The baba rum made of rum I assume and has the perfect alcohol flavor accompanied by creams.

My family has been going to La Delice for over 60 years. My brother insists on their cakes for his birthday. I am a BIG fan of the chocolate dipped Almond Horns. This is also the bakery that introduced me to Rainbow Cookies. The service is great.

Probably one of the most disgusting bakeries I have ever experienced. I got the small marble cheesecake, Oreo cake, sprinkle cake, and carrot cake. When we went to go eat the cakes they all had a wet and soggy layers and the cake was just wet. It tasted like you were putting a wet cleansing wipe into your mouth. We threw everything away. You definitely want to stay away from this place.

The window says established in 1935. Nice display on the outside and inside. A baker statue stands outside to greet you. Inside was very colorful with an abundance of pastry and everything neatly and perfectly stacked. I left because something didn't sit right with me. Then a stranger on the street told me they have the best cookies so I decided I would go back in and give it a try. The worker offered me a choice of apricot or raspberry filled almond marzipan cookie that I ordered. I have not seen them in two flavors so this was a good indication! Not! The almond marzipan cookie tasted so stale it must have been a leftover from 1935. It was wrapped in plastic wrap. I thought the bakery was being thoughtful but no! Not even plastic cling wrap could keep this cookie from becoming hard and dry like camel dung! I cut a teeny tiny piece. The almond paste ring that sits on top of the cookie should be soft and chewy. It tasted like sand in my mouth. No almond taste only sugar. I had a tummy ache right after. For sure this one's going straight to the garbage! $4.95 is way to much to pay for dried up camel dung! No wonder my initial instincts were right. I should have fled. The store has many pastries and cookies but all do not seemed to be touched! Beware of bakeries that have tons of cookies and pastries that are perfectly filled to the brim. When customers don't buy, you get stale stuff! Beware of strangers on the street with bad taste buds and trust your own gut instinct!

I always go here when I have to visit nyu langone. It's always the best part of a bad day!

Love this place, but need to admit I only get one thing each time I'm here as I'm a creature of habit. So this review is for their petit fours. In my photos you can see the Rasberry and almond flavors. Both are excellent today they were soooo fresh, which makes a huge difference. I did buy them one time and they tasted a day or two old and trust me you want these fresh to get the amazingness of that Petit four. I find it hard to track down petit fours in general over nyc and in most places, so this place is like a hidden treasure for us. It's all take away fyi, so don't plan on eating here. But it's nyc, you can find a stoop anywhere and enjoy! The people in the store are really nice as well and willing to answer any questions you may have. The shop is a no frills yet charming bakery shop, which I kind of love. Almost makes you feel like you stumbled upon a hidden secret, just dishing out good petit fours.

So I grew up in FarRockaway and all the way up the beach there was an Italian bakery and my chocolate sister got a job there in our teens. I have always loved cake and am lucky to boast that I'm a slim fit woman because if I tell you how when buying a burger 2 doors down I dropped everything to get some cake from here. Like pause I'll be right back- runs out the door and walks right in. This place is pure nostalgia. No it's not like the Rockaways not at all but it's a perfect little neighborhood bakery right on the corner on 3rd Ave. EVERYTHING smelled perfect and fresh and idk if they what country they were repping (Italian, Polish) idk but i ordered MAD stuff. The awesome older woman behind the counter seemed to be delighted. Mexican bread- 5/5 - sweet on the outside, soft on the inside Onion bread- Maybe it was focaccia idk but good any temp. Soft, savory. 5/5 Cannolis- 5/5 i got mixed flavors and didn't share with anyone. Chocolate covered is my favs. Tiramisu- 5/5 i knew it was going to be bussin i just knew. Total damage like $21 and they take card I remember because I had a $20 bill and thought they would let me slide for the $1 but they were like no we take card lol. Anyway I would highly recommend if you're in the city or work in the area. They had beautiful cakes and someone should go buy them.

Absolutely love this place! OMG! I was walking by on the way to the train station, and freshly baked sweet deliciousness wafted my way; I was hooked! Made a 180, and SO happy I did! There were so many desserts to choose from! I picked up a sampler of freshly baked cookies and a couple slices of perfectly iced cakes (not sure if iced is the right word, but the buttercream frosting was off the charts). Absolutely and simply divine! If you've never been, GO! You'll be glad you did!

We bought a lemon meringue pie today and found it was full of mold when we got home. The photos speak for themselves. The service and ambience were good but the pie would have made us sick and had to be thrown out. It's appalling the bakery would sell this.

Saw this on our way to dinner at a nearby restaurant - decided to head back and get dessert to go from here ! Great decision ! Loved the chocloate coated cannoli - coating is inside and out and kept it super crisp ! Yum ! Also got a box of cookies for the NY Marathon Cheering crew - will have to bet more as we nibbled our way thru them ! The plain cannoli were understandably a bit soft as it was almost 8:30pm when we purchased - so if crisp is what you are looking for the Chocolate Coated are the ticket !

I purchased eclairs and connoli yesterday, they were stale and completely void of flavor. Unfortunately they had to be thrown out. I will not be back. Service was very good, I wish I could say the same about the pastry.

I'd say it's just off. Watching everything in the window displays and not knowing how long it's been sitting. It's well off putting. Maybe, it would be different for a custom cake but I'd be leery. I tried their cookies and I'd say they were old. It's one thing to be hard, or even crunchy but if they sit long enough things don't improve. There are sell by dates and use by dates and I don't have a lot of confidence in this bakery. I love Veniero's It's a longer walk from here but worth the money and your time. I wouldn't return here or venture into their cakes. A bakery must offer fresh goods and looking at the beautiful displays here week after week not changing is disconcerting.

I grew up with a corner bakery that featured in lots of birthdays, holidays, and weekends. So I love the idea of having this bakery in the area, as a counter to all the chains. Unfortunately, however, it's just not very good. I've tried croissants, cookies, and cakes from this place on various occasions, and they have all tasted dry. If they were made on the same day that I bought them, it would be a surprise to me. The baked goods aren't fresh, and seem like they've been left on display for just a tad too long. As much as I want to support the local bakery, I'd steer clear of this place unless you're already in the area and don't mind mediocre baked goods.

I've only ever gone in the evenings. Went today during the day. The man working there was crusty as hell. I wasn't the only customer and he wasn't nice at all. I got different priced cookies and asked for them to be put in a box. He had to weigh them separately, which is fine, to get the cost. But then he dumped them all in without a care. So now they are all broken. It's like they really don't want customers. It was raining today, and he just threw the box at me after wrapped it. I had to ask for a bag so the cookies wouldn't get wet. If this is how he treats the only customer in the store, imagine his attitude to me if there were more people in the shop, he probably would have just smashed my cookies for fun.

Had a cake from here recently and it is not as advertised. It's mostly butter cream and hardly any cake. In my opinion this place should rethink what they produce.

Got a few chocolate hazelnut meringues to go. It's an old school Italian place so why not go with a classic. The cookies were cheap (3.50 for 6 or something) but they lacked flavor outside of the nuts. This place reminded me of some of the just OK places nearby Arthur Ave which isn't a bad thing but I wouldn't be going back soon. 2.7

This is a cute little bakery close to Baruch college. I've passed by this place many times, and I really never had the chance to go in. A good friend of mine loves this place, and she actually picked up some French macaroons. I enjoy French macaroons, and I've tried a few over the years. These were not the best but they were okay. They weren't very flavorful, kind of bland...they looked homemade which was charming.

I bought a cheesecake last Friday. While eating it, I came across SEVERAL pieces of eggshell, some quite big. I tried to message them on fb but they never replied.

This Bakery seems slept on with a 3 star rating. I wish I could take a picture to show you the cookies but that would mean I didn't devour them before hand. Whoops. Well it's a great local bakery, small, friendly staff, fair prices and the cookies are delicious. Rainbow cookies are my personal favorite. They have cases of cakes, cupcakes etc and do custom designs for baked goods as well.

This is my favorite spot for cookies!!! When you walk in, to the left, there are two large glass cabinets behind which sit rows and rows of gorgeous, DELICIOUS! cookies. They are sold by the pound, and are incredible. I have not tried the many other items in their shop, but the cookies are heaven sent. They also make for a great gift, or snack to bring to a get together. The ladies that work there are also a joy. Such a neighborhood gem.

Terrible service. The chocolate cake slice was ok. Confused why they keep so much prepared and on display since it's just not fresh. I used to work at a bakery and we would never sell items on display and to ensure the customer was getting fresh products made THAT DAY. Had to buy some Jordan almonds to meet the credit card minimum and they were GROSS. However they note all over the store "no returns or exchanges" since they know people will complain the products they sell just aren't fresh. They must own the building to honestly have stayed open for all the years I have lived in the neighborhood. I wish I could write a positive review since this is truly the only bakery we have in the area, but with bad customer service and products that aren't fresh, there really is nothing good worth noting.

Not stale, but blech! The cinnamon danish was so shockingly sweet I couldn't eat more than two bites. It tasted like a mouthful of sweet and low, no other detectable flavor, including cinnamon. It takes something special for me to throw out unspoiled food. The cheese danish had more filling than the kind at the deli, but that's all it had going for it. Reminded me of desserts from the fast food-esque bakeries inside Eastern European subway stations...countries that's pride themselves on pastry, so edible, but mcd's version. Main flavor was sugar and flat taste otherwise. Mushy. Specialty spinach and feta pastry featured at register seemed pretty fresh but so bland I wasn't sure at first I'd bit into the right item. Not bad, just nothing...

Another spot I've passed many times but never tried! Finally Bought some treats today and the counter ladies were so kind and attentive. Of course there's just so many goodies calling u from all directions and i was just overwhelmed but they were both very patient which I appreciated. I haven't tried the dessert yet but once I do- will update this review!

I wanted to like this place so much. It had all the qualities to make it seem like an amazing bakery - its been in the area for 50+ years, the decor had an old mom and pop vibe, and the sweet aura coming from the store drew you in. Sadly, the sweet smells were a complete lie to the quality of these baked goods. I have given this place three chances since I live near the area and the smell always gets me when I walk by. The cakes and cookies I have tried have always been dry and lacking in quality ingredients. To make it worse, the last time I came here, there were live bugs in the bag feasting on my chocolate fudge balls! Don't waste your time going here. A complete disappointment!

Decided to stop by here since I go to school in the area and was lured in by the smell of baked goods and cookies. Upon walking in, one will noticed shelves and shelves of cookies of different varieties. They sell by the pound and you get to mix and match your cookies as well. I wanted something small so I settled for the black and white cookies and I was amazed by the taste since I've never had this New York favorite before. Would I be back in the future. Sure. Service was on-point and the cashier was more than happy to answer any questions.

Love this bakery. Passed by on our walk and decided to stop for some treats. The rainbow cake was delicious and moist- the bottom was a bit dry but that was ok. Also enjoyed the cookies, they were soft and each layer melts perfectly in your mouth with every bite.

This is really one of the gems of Manhattan. I have been coming here since I was few years old, when it opened in the early 1960s. If you want to experience how good things used to be, this is the place. Old school coffee, that will really wake you up. Real authentic actual pastries, the way they were always meant to be. Enjoy!

When I need a nice assortment of old fashioned holiday cookies to take to a party or for guests, this is the place I stop. They have years of experience so you can't go wrong. I've never been disappointed. They have a great selection. Everything is delicious. For home made cookies the price is right. I've never tried anything but the cookies. Everything else does look good though. I'll take one of everything!! Happy holidays!!

All the treats i got here were delicious. I got a half pound of butter cookies and some cannolis. My cannolis were fresh and tasty. The butter cookies were superb. Everything at this spot is very fun!

Love this little hidden gem. I pass by every morning on my walk to work and the smell of fresh pastries is divine. Love their biscottis and butter cookies the most. The shop feels so authentic and the staff is friendly.

I had been eyeing this place whenever I would walk past with a suspicious eye. I looks old school, right? It's either seriously legit and it will stay open forever, or it's one of those places that should have closed long ago... but just keeps on opening. Reading other reviews on Yelp led me to believe the low ratings were mostly due to rude service. I bad does service have to be in NYC to get marked down??? Still, want to get my wife some delicious treats celebrating her birthweek (one day celebration is not enough), I stopped in. It was about 7pm on a Sunday, and a friendly older woman was working alone behind the counter. As a lover of baked goods, I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many wonderful colors and shapes, cookies and biscuits, cakes and pastries! How do you choose? The first guess is easy: my wife loves carrot cake, so she gets carrot cake. Next, the rainbow cake looked nice (big, with brightly colored sponge and plenty of icing), so I got a slice of that. Also asked for a couple of mini cannoli (vanilla and chocolate), and headed on home. Home, where the disappointment could begin. Now, the bakery has a distinct 1960s vibe to it. I learned quickly that is probably the decade these cakes were baked. Both the care cake and the rainbow cake were so stale and dry, they were almost crunchy. The carrot cake was almost redeemed by a robust cream cheese frosting, but there was no such savior for the rainbow cake. That frosting tasted like bland sugary crisco. How bad was it? We at less than 1/2 of each of them and threw the rest away. The cannelloni were OK, especially the chocolate one. In that case, the chocolate coating protected the pastry from becoming soggy (a fate to which the vanilla succumbed). So..... now I know. The ratings are deserved, and I don't need to go back again. Not with so many other great bakeries around the city.

Stopped in for something sweet after dinner. After looking over the large selection I choose a vanilla cupcake. After an unusually long time doing something behind the counter, the older woman helping me hands me a bag. I walk out of the store and take it out of the bag. First thing I notice is the wrapper is wet. That seems odd. Then I see the the crust between the wrapper and frosting had been trimmed. Hmm. I get to take off the wrapper and find another wrapper underneath. This one is even wetter. Taking this one off now has a sticky liquid pouring out onto my hand. At this point my friend suggests bringing it back. I walk inside and mention the sticky liquid. The lady says sometimes they add syrup to them. That's a first for me. Then she hands me some napkins and sends me on my way. I go outside to try again. The cake part is falling apart in my sticky fingers. The frosting is almost like a rock. I take one bite of the overly sweet, odd flavored mess and proceed to drop it into the nearest garbage can. That was awful, I won't ever go there again.

This place smells great and sometimes the cookies are okay BUT... I live around the corner and walk by at least 2-3 times a week. The cakes and childrens' cupcakes are LITERALLY melting in the windows. The same ones, for WEEKS. I would NEVER buy anything but the cookies. I like the fact that it's a mom & pop, but I DO wish they could get their act together. I haven't been able to figure out why the health department hasn't been by.

I LOVE this place. They make the best petit fours in the business when few others make them at all and the rest of their stuff is delicious too. This is not fancy upscale bakery stuff, this is delicious bakery treats one loved as a kid - stuff that tastes amazing, looks good, and provides that satisfying comfort of getting a treat. Oh, and their prices are stunningly low for NYC.

Cakes are good when fresh HOWEVER, last couple of times I bought a cake it had mold inside! When I called to alert them of this disgusting finding the man named Junior said it wasn't his fault he "just makes the cake" and doesn't check for the freshness on the cakes out on the shelf! Lame excuse, won't be coming back here again!

I try to refrain from giving negative reviews to small, local businesses but not when they're selling old, moldy, hazardous food! This was my biscotti and judging by the size of the mold, this has been out for a VERY LONG time.

I wish my husband had looked at the Yelp reviews before going to La Delice. Although it looked inviting and delicious I can confirm it was anything but edible. Confirmed by my entire party of guests. the Tiramisu was anything but what it was supposed to be. The only hint of tiramisu were the stale lady fingers on the outside. Stale cake was within and had absolutely no taste. It went in the trash. As for the cheesecake I can report no better . clumps of cream cheese unmixed and bland is the best I can say. Run don't walk in the other direction

Butter cookies!!! Not many of these old school family style bakeries left in NYC so when I happened upon this one in the neighborhood that I work in I had to stop in for some cookies. Maybe it was the large bakery chef statue standing outside place that drew me in. That, or all the delicious looking stuff in the windows. I love the worn look of this place - as if stepping back in time to the 1950's. From what I heard the place has been around since the 1930's so they must be doing something right. The large glass counters contain and show off all types of goodies - cookies, cakes, cupcakes, assorted pastries, etc. When you walk in you are surrounded by buttery baked goodness - walls of butter cookies to the left, all types of pastries straight ahead, cakes and other treats such as rugulach, fun cupcakes and brownies on the right. You gain two pounds just standing there and inhaling the bakery air! The butter cookies here are some of the best. I picked up a half pound for $6 and they were devoured last night over coffee. Light, crunchy, airy, chewy, buttery goodness all rolled into one. Some dipped in chocolate, some filled with raspberry, some plain, all yummy. Just a note - this place is cash only! Also, I did not experience any of the bad service by the people behind the counter as other reviewers here have noted. Yeah, I really need to go back on a diet soon. Until then, I am going to enjoy stuffing my fat face with this buttery goodness!

I've been getting cakes from this corner bakery for years. The staff are always professional and friendly, and will write whatever I need on a cake, no matter how strange[1]. Their cakes have always been delectably fresh and none too sweet, good since I don't have an insane sweet tooth. That said, all of my associates have never complained when I came loaded with goodies from La Delice. I also appreciate that nothing costs and arm or a leg here - they take credit, too. [1] For what it's worth, I've only asked them to write polite things. But I'm pretty sure they'd probably go the extra mile if you left an extra-large tip.

Having spent many of my formative years in Brooklyn, I had ready access to classic, old school bakeries that sold rainbow cookies, cannolis, cakes, pies and tons of cookies. Whenever I see a bakery that has a "rough around the edges" look such as this one, I always want to try it so the other day I passed by La Delice and went to take a look purely on the merits of the classic New York style looking store front. Inside it truly felt like a bakery from my days in Brooklyn. A lot of glass cases with polished steel. Some plastic display cakes that had long lost their luster, but among all that was an array of cookies, breads, rolls, cakes and other confections. I decided to target one of my favorite items, chocolate dipped cookies with a fruit preserve in the middle and of course, sprinkles! I wanted to only get a couple to try, but I was told a quarter pound (6 cookies) was required. I think in the outer boroughs this would have been a deal breaker for me, but in Manhattan I wasn't shocked so I went for two of three different types of the same cookie. I took my camera out to take a couple shots of the interior (you'll see one in my photos) but I was quickly told that there were "no photos" allowed inside. The old lady behind the counter was rather firm about it. Not "mean" exactly, but not particularly "nice old lady-ish" either. I was rather put off by this. I explained to her that I thought her work was beautiful (and it really is, the gingerbread houses were especially cute), but she didn't relent. This, my friends, is why this is a three star review instead of a four star one. In this day and age, people take pictures of businesses all the time. It's not like she makes anything in there that's a corporate secret so her attitude confounded me. Anyhoo, the cookies were really good. They were light and crunchy while the chocolate, sprinkles and filling in the middle were just the right sweetness and consistency, not overly chewy or tough. Much like other old time businesses I've been to, don't go here expecting a particularly cheery staff or reception, but what you can expect are good cookies!

Rainbow cookies were delicious. Lemon cake was just okay. They seemed like I was bothering them by coming in and buying pastries. They could use some better customer service. Lots of options. Seemed like a good Italian bakery.

I was on my way to work when I saw the Conchas! A very typical mexican bread. At first I thought, no way! this place can not have good Conchas. I decided to buy them anyway and to my surprised the Conchas were delicious!!! They really are! Their flavor is right on the spot and they are fresh. This was an amazing surprised! I can not wait to go back and get more. The man in the counter was super friendly and attentive. This place is a gem!!!

The macaroons were extremely stale and the pound cake was excessively dry. I couldn't finish either option. Not worth a visit.

The great thing about this place was the Hamentashen Prune cookies and a few other cookies. I was let down with the pastries, they didn't taste fresh. I was not able to eat the 2 that I ordered. I would only get a pastry from here if I see when they are putting it on the shelves.
