"Chef Clément Briand-Seurat has left the Pic Saint-Loup restaurant to open his own establishment (Cena means supper or dinner in Latin) beneath the ribbed vaults of a medieval edifice in the heart of historic Montpellier. A snug, romantic vibe, enhanced by centuries-old stonework and candle-lit rough oak tables, sets the scene. The chef signs a creative single set menu in which he endeavours to enhance the produce of local growers and breeders thanks to flawless craftsmanship (chutneys, oils, crumbles, crackers and whipped siphon concoctions). We are very pleased to booked a dinner here. It was nice to not think what to order. Each meal is a surprise and the waiter explain well the food that is served on the table. We had a 6 course menu and this was a lot. I highly recommend to visit this place. Book a table especially on high season.

This is one of the best meals I had in my travels of southern france. The meal itself was delicious and the choice of wines were amazing. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. I would recommend to anyone visiting montpellier.

Beautifull setting restaurant. Perfect for romantique diner. Food taste good, The only minus point is the waitress trying to tell you the combination of the dish but it s nothing to match what is in the plate. She didn’t do her homework before serving or in another word she was not trained properly for such a high standard place. If you just need a beautiful place to impress your date this is the one

I ate there in June of 2021 and the ingredients were quite different, which is not due to seasonal influence. It was very unusual and different flavors, including smoky flavors, in September 2022 that have less appeal to me. I would have liked some beautiful creamy items with an easy palette. My friend enjoyed it very much.
