We were here for lunch as part of a wedding group. The surroundings are beautiful. We dined in a room on the ground floor and were well catered for by lovely staff. I particularly enjoyed the red wine and the diversity of the food however, for my taste there could have been less fried appetisers. It was a super wining and dining experience and I imagine staying overnight here would be a treat!

I first met Angelo while travelling in the Basilicata region in 2010. During that trip, our party of 5 (myself, my wife, my 10 month old daughter, and another couple) stayed at La Dimora for 2 nights. At that time, we were mainly emailing and he was incredibly responsive and helpful in coordinating our trip. From the moment we arrived Angelo was amazing. He got us set up in our rooms and offered us an early evening taste of antipasti and a tasting of the amazing regional Agnlianico wines. From there, the wine kept flowing and 15 courses later, we were finally done with the most amazing meal. The following day was a Sunday, the day of the famous Sunday Lunch at La Dimora. This particular Sunday was even more special as it was the day of his daughter's Christening. As we were guests at La Dimora, Angelo invited our group to attend the festivities. Our group was seated at the head table with Angelo and his family...and the food was impeccable. We left the next morning and we all decided it was the highlight of our 2010 trip. I told Angelo at our departure that we would come back and see him again.||Jump ahead to 2024. My wife and I had planned a trip to Italy with our 12 and 14 year old children and we decided that we wanted to go back to La Dimora and share the experience with our kids. I emailed Angelo (when I asked if he remembered us he said he did) and made a reservation. Angelo said when you first come to La Dimora you are a friend, and when you come back you are family. That is exactly what happened. We arrived and we felt like we were at home. We swam in the pool, relaxed, and enjoyed the peaceful place. When dinner time arrived, we walked out onto the patio to a table set in the middle with 5 chairs...and it turned out that Angelo joined us for dinner. What came next was a 15 course meal with Aglianico wines, and amazing conversation. Then his wife, Caremla, joined us and we continued the conversation deep into the evening. She even went into town to get us gelato from the festival as our third dessert. Truly a wonderful night.||We finished the trip with a lovely breakfast and more conservation, some parting gifts, and hugs.||La Dimora is truly a wonderful place, and Angelo and Carmela are the most amazing hosts one could ask for. We cannot wait to visit again.

Our entire family (3 couples and 2 children under the age of 5) had the absolute pleasure of staying at La Dimora for our family trip to Italy. The hotel setting was just gorgeous - nestled among trees and hills in a beautiful setting and away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The accommodations were certainly comfortable, but what made the trip so special for all of us was our host, Angelo, who went above and beyond to assure that we had the most memorable experience possible. For all of us I can say for certain that the highlight of our stay was the incredible FOOD - fresh, organic, and pure - fantastic produce and meats, cheeses, pasta and sauces - I would be thrilled if I had the opportunity to eat food like this regularly here in the United States. I can assure you your stay at La Dimora will not disappoint!

It is a charming and inviting farmhouse that offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and traditions. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home. They go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is comfortable and are always happy to answer any questions or offer recommendations about the area. Thank you Angelo, Maria, Paolo and all of you!!|One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The restaurant serves delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. Worth noting is that they serve only their own products (with the exception of salt, sugar and Prosecco :D). This ensures that the food is always fresh and of the highest quality and adds to the authentic and traditional Italian dining experience.|The outdoor space is also lovely, with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. It's the perfect place to relax and soak up the sunshine.

We stayed for the entire week with our two children and enjoyed every single second.|Thanks to the amazing Angelo and the entire Ricciuti family and staff, the Dimora dei Cavalieri felt as our 2nd home.|As we arrived several hours earlier than expected and with hungry children, the staff quickly noticed and made them fresh delicious pasta (and poured wine for the parents :) )|From that moment and throughout our entire stay, were amazed by the kindness and hospitality of the family and staff, always looking after was to upgrade our vication, whether if it was to take us to their farm so the children can see the sheep, goats and other farm animals, or driving with us to the Vaglio di Basilicata and explain about the town and it's history or to the point that they offered us to move to a bigger 2 Rooms unit when it became vacant. |Place is absolutely beautiful , Pool was great and dinners we're delicious throughout our entire stay, as our kids received their "children dinner" of fresh pasta and salad.|||Totally recommended .|Thank you |Ben and Yael

We booked this stay of 2 nights at the start of our week’s travels south from Rome as an alternative to staying in Rome, with heat and crowds ….and so glad we did!|Angelo and Carmela and their family run this true Agriturismo with dedication and passion and with sister Rosaria commanding the kitchen, it is a winning combination.|With their complete focus on organically home produced and or locally sourced ingredients the dishes we tasted were varied and delicious.|We didn’t want to travel far as we were on a long tour but ventured to the local village and visited the local museum holding a Da Vinci exhibition, far easier than the sights of Rome! Angelo even gave us a lift there as we didn’t think we could walk both ways in the heat of midday.|A stunning pool and comfortable accommodation completed our stay.|We arrived as strangers and departed as friends. |To be recommended.

Every dishes were very fresh and extreme delicious. You should definitely try the antipastis. If you can still eat, there is meat soft like cotton candy and of course pasta. Local food from their own garden. Perfect
