Austin Restaurant Openings to Know This February 2025 | Eater Austin

"An all-day coffee-and-cocktails concept in Cedar Park from the owners of La Holly and Taco Flats, serving locally roasted beans from Merit Coffee. The food menu includes dirty nachos made with black beans and queso; kolaches stuffed with sausage, potato and egg, or picadillo; a smash burger and other handhelds; tacos; and some family-style platters for dinner. The cocktail menu is heavy on coffee cocktails and frozen drinks, alongside a mix of classic cocktails and originals." - Courtney E. Smith

Just had an excellent meal at La Dosis! We ordered the chips and dips, spinach salad, puffy tacos, and enchiladas verde. Everything was really good-we also really enjoyed the black beans and rice; they were way tastier than the usual Tex Mex spots. Also enjoyed their Dosis margarita. Service was very friendly, and they have a nice inside/outside space. We’ll be back!

Country/BBQ joint kinda vibe themed restaurant with both indoor, patio, and outdoor seating areas. The patio area is suited for large groups equipped with televisions and outdoor fans. You can start a tab by ordering inside or scanning the QR Codes at each table. Easy and convenient for ordering drinks and food. I tried their Froot Loop latte; the drink smells very good and you are able to adjust the sugar level. The spicy chicken sandwich was not too spicy at all. It smells spicy but it reminds me of red hot chili sauce. The fries were a bit salty to me. Friendly staff who informed me that they had been opened for 5 months now. Great place for work happy hours. They also have a besame ice cream truck out back.

Stopped by today and had the breakfast plate along with a coffee—both were excellent. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and the coffee hit the spot. The space itself has a really cool vibe, with a unique atmosphere that blends coffeehouse charm with cocktail bar edge. Loved the patio area and the bar setup—perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Google
Food was delicious. We loved the brunch menu. If you like sweet coffee, the flan latte was amazing. What I was most impressed with was the kindness and character of the employees. We were sitting down to eat and a veteran and his wife walked in- from the moment they walked in through the doors to the moment they sat down they were recognized and honored by multiple employees. Well done and loved to see that example!! Will definitely be back.

Google
The food was really tasty overall. The fried and chicken biscuits were standouts. The service for coffee/cocktails was lacking in some regards (incorrect order etc.) and the menu prices/descriptions had a few inaccuracies and missing info (like if the breakfast sandwiches came with a side). But those weren’t things that overshadowed the overall great experience. Would definitely come back here✨ 👌🏽✨

New to the neighborhood, we finally made our way to La Dosis. Food was SO GOOD! I got the Pirata Tacos and was not disappointed. Meat was delicious and they fried the cheese onto the tortilla (never seen that before but it was yummy). Hubby got the Smoked Turkey Club which was huge on sourdough. Fresh fries all great. We split the chili cheese enchiladas and those were my favorite. We ate in and could tell the outside was hopping too. Will be back to try the coffee bar soon. Will definitely be back!

Google
Would describe this place, weird vibes and funky food. The chicken & waffles was SO nasty. The chicken didn’t have ANY salt or seasoning, waffle was soggy. The buffalo sauce on the biscuit sandwich was nauseating and incredibly salty. Nachos were fine, nothing great. The chicken they used on them tasted so off. For the price, would have expected way better food. We left most of our food. They had a QR code to order but half the items weren’t even on it. Also, there were pricing typos on their menu, chicken and waffle was “167”, it was $17 lol.

Google
Extremely disorganized service. We did not get sides we had ordered, had to go back to correct the order, and we still did not get the sides after another 20 minutes so we left. Getting the food took awhile. Food was mid and there are other places that you’re likely to have a better meal and drinks at nearby. My pictures look better than it actually is. Pancakes did not come with enough syrup. Eggs were flavorless. Tables, especially near the playground area were very dirty so we moved to the nearby patio which was significantly better.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised by Las Dosis, it chooses to do a lot of things but it does it well. Dropped by for a brunch and got their chips trio, and iced latte with cinnamon and some breakfast tacos. When it comes to the food, the iced coffee was super smooth and the cinnamon gave it a great twist. It was solid, brewed with care. The chips trio was proper some of the best I've had and a crowd pleaser, with delicious home made chips- it came with queso, guacamole with lime and a fresh salsa that was killer. The breakfast tacos were awesome too. My favorite was just the cheese and egg one, which i had with corn. The green salsa had a good kick. Everything was made to order and tasted fresh. The ambience of this place was super chill, with the perfect mood. Upbeat music, not too bright and a perfect place to get some work done if needed. Prices were reasonable and cant wait to come back to try some of their lunch/dinner offerings. Staff was super friendly and attentive, with the owner asking us how everything was. They did everything right to make us happy. Absolutely worth checking out.

Yelp
La Dosis is Cedar Park's newest addition to the culinary scene--a Tex-Mex restaurant that reimagines the genre with a level of refinement one rarely encounters. Where many renditions of Tex-Mex lean heavily on grease and lard, La Dosis presents dishes with a sophisticated balance, allowing the diner to savor the nuances of each ingredient and appreciate why this regional fare deserves to be considered true cuisine. Despite its elevated flavors, the atmosphere remains invitingly unpretentious. Guests place their orders at the counter, then relax as their selections are brought to the table. The communal-style seating--with generously sized tables accommodating parties of 15 or more--enhances the restaurant's warm, convivial spirit, encouraging guests to dine as extended family. On my first visit, I began with the chip sampler, an elegant trio of guacamole, queso, and salsa. I admit to being a snob when it comes to guacamole, yet this version was nothing short of superb: creamy, fresh, and vibrant with flavor. From there, we sampled the chicken flautas and the chicken mole. The flautas were refreshingly traditional, relying on quality fillings wrapped in a delicate tortilla rather than being disguised by a heavy fry. The chicken--mesquite-smoked rotisserie--was extraordinary, imparting a depth of flavor that lingered. The mole, however, was the true revelation. Mole is my perennial weakness, and too often it disappoints with muddled execution. Not here. La Dosis's mole is exceptional, layered with complexity, each spice and ingredient singing in harmony. I found myself requesting an additional side of sauce simply to savor it with warm tortillas. On a return visit, I indulged in the migas, a comforting medley of scrambled eggs, crisped tostada pieces, and pico de gallo--simple, yet executed with finesse. Entrées are paired thoughtfully: dinner with refried black beans and Mexican rice, breakfast with black beans and seasoned home fries. The menu, while concise, demonstrates restraint and intention; each dish is carefully curated and worth exploring in turn. La Dosis has elevated Tex-Mex in Cedar Park, delivering not just meals but memorable dining experiences. It is a welcome gem--one that proves familiar flavors can be transformed into something truly distinguished.

Yelp
This (non-breakfast) Smash burger is frickin D'licious! The place is nice and welcoming. The staff is hilarious, and very accommodating. The fries weren't my favorite, but they were served fresh and hot - which is a bonus for me. Will have to try other items from the menu on the next visit. Yes... there will definitely be a next visit!

Yelp
Super cute casual dining that is family friendly, coffee shop and cocktails and more! We've been here casually on Sunday afternoon to get out of the house and La Dosis is such a cute charming space inside and out for lots of fun for adults and kiddos alike. The tree net wizards installed a fun little bounce space for the kids to run around and play, and there are plenty of tables all about to make sure you can be close by and get some shade in. I'd love to see more as it has much potential but understand they're just up and coming! Service has always been friendly, efficient and quick with ordering at counter and them bringing the food out. The cocktails you do have to pick up at bar but it's great for a little get together and casually eating and playing which is always a score in our book for a place to be on the weekends!

Yelp
A cute spot to grab coffee, drinks and food. Stopped by on a Sunday morning to grab some breakfast and get out of the house. Service was great. The inside is a little jam packed with tables and chairs but i guess if they do they busy at peak times it makes sense. So if your going with a stroller like i was you just need to move around some chairs and tables. Love that for their coffee they offer alternative milks. Ordered a cap accu i with oat milk and a Huevos Ranchero. The coffee was good and tasteful, just a tad bit extra cinnamon flavor. The Huevos ranchero was flavorful, i would only say their beans are a bit on the looser texture side.

Yelp
We had seen this suggested on places you may not be aware in or around Austin on IG. We went for a weekend brunch, the menu at the counter even has weekend only on the back so not sure how it differs from weekday menu. It is mostly counter service, according to the sign when you come in you order all food at the counter, Drinks can be ordered at counter or through QR Code. Not sure where the QR code is as we just had one round of drinks that we ordered at the same time as the food. It is a clean place, with lots of seating including long tables for large parties and a patio area with cover and many TV's. It is clearly marked. For Soda and Water it is self service. The gentleman at the counter was fast and friendly, made more impressive with the fact he was dealing with several families and kids, some of which had various demand and some confusion. After you order you can close or leave open your tab, they give you a number and the food is delivered but you are called up to get your drinks. We order the chips trio which comes with salsa, queso, and Guac. I see from some other review and pictures it was white queso at one time but we had very yellow queso. The queso and salsa were fine, I don't eat guac so I will leave that review to my wife. SHANA SAYS: Good cocktails! Great salsa and guacomole. I got a breakfast smash burger, a side of bacon, and a sausage patty. Shana got the Migas. Both were good, the sausage patty was the best of my meal. We each got a cocktail. Hers was an espresso martini and I honestly forgot the name of mine but both were very good. The price was average, it was good an a nice place. Glad we tried it. It is a little out of our way but not so much that we can't make it back some day.

Yelp
My husband and I just finished brunch here and were genuinely impressed. The chilaquiles might be our favorite in Austin so far -- perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The pancakes were also excellent, and the overall vibe was welcoming and sincere. You can really tell the staff cares about making sure you have a great experience. This spot is definitely going on our list of regulars!

Yelp
What a great surprise to find La Dosis! I cannot be more emphatic - this is a great spot! Expansive patio, true craft cocktails, and friendly service round out this new cocktail and coffee spot in the 613! Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

Yelp
A new experience in an old place in Cedar Park. The building used to house J&J barbecue. After the new owner spent a year remodeling, it opened recently as a coffee, cocktail, and food bar. It looks the same on the outside, but as soon as you open the door you realize you're not in the sane place any more. The new interior is sparkling clean with all new furnishings, wall treatments, and serving setup. It's very modern and upbeat and busy! They serve many breakfast options, appetizers, sandwiches and Tex-Mex food accompanied by an upscale coffee bar and a variety of cocktails. Can you bring Fido? Of course you can!! There is an enclosed patio setting that allows dogs as well as plenty if outdoor tables as well. There's even an outdoor bar! I had a breakfast smashburger which was a hamburger size sandwich with a homemade pork sausage patty, fried egg and cheese served with country fried potatoes and it was very good but I would have preferred it on a biscuit rather than a hamburger bun. . My daughter had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was made with real cream and we all had to try that delicacy. My wife had a breakfast taco and complained that it was about half the size as similar priced ones at other places. A companion had the rancheros breakfast plate and said it was one of the best he has had anywhere. So all-in-all 4 stars because of personal preferences. We are glad to see this place open again with an all new upbeat look snd an all new menu. The food is very good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great.

Yelp
Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner and it was surprisingly quiet for being a new spot. I had no expectations coming in having never been to any other of the restaurants belonging to this ownership group, just that the sign says coffee and cocktails. It's counter service for everything which I was a little surprised about given the cocktails but it worked out. Cocktails were tasty and strong. The dip trio was pretty good, white queso, some okay salsa (a bit watery), and chunky guac. Puffy tacos were a smash hit, with awesome textures and good flavors with a pulled chicken. The outdoor space looks awesome when the weather is nice, and a great spot for families.

Yelp
Recently visited for the crawfish boil. Buddy and I torched 9 lbs of crawfish which were great. All crawfish (which I prefer) but if they do add others they increase the weight to accommodate for the other bits. Owner and staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plenty of room inside and there also was a patio area. Clean and nice looking with a bar and enchiladas were great too. It was nice to see a place that didn't have super dry chicken. Definitely going to have to try the sandwiches and other items on the menu. Everything was full of flavor and went great with a beers.

Yelp
Cedar park has got a new brunch/coffee/bar spot in town and it is amazing! The service was awesome, I believe the owner was walking around as well and asking how everything went. There's plenty of seating and open area to relax while sipping on some coffee or brew. The food was amazing! We had the chilaquiles and the huevos rancheros plates and both were fantastic! I can't wait to try more menu items. It definitely feels like the next big spot in town and can't wait to see what other additions they make to the business!

Yelp
I was thrilled to finally visit this place--I'd been eagerly waiting for it to open for a while. As you enter, you'll find parking available both in the front and back. The entrance features a charming garden with a picnic bench under a tree and a park bench, perfect for enjoying nice days outside. They did extensive renovations compared to what it used to be, and it's incredible! Upon entering, you're greeted with a warm welcome from all the employees (love that!). I originally went for the chai latte but discovered their weekend brunch menu, which had an impressive selection and smelled amazing. While waiting for our drinks, I explored the back. OMG, it's fantastic! We went early in the morning, expecting it to be a bit chilly on the patio, but it wasn't. They had patio heaters throughout the indoor patio, maintaining a comfortable temperature. There were also speakers playing music and several televisions. But wait, what?! They have an outdoor bar in the back along with an outdoor patio, and you can bring your leashed dog! Wow! I noticed they are building something else in the back, but I didn't venture there. It looked like picnic benches and possibly a playground, though I'm not sure. We got our latte and chai latte drinks, and they were excellent. The temperature was just right, the flavor was delightful, and the presentation was amazing--the cups were so cute, and the barista is an artist! Um...this place is looking like my new favorite hangout! It's super chill, very clean dinning area, clean bathrooms , and there's plenty of seating for everyone, including indoor, outdoor, and even for the fur babies! I'll definitely be back

Yelp
FOOD! DRINKS! SERVICE!!! Absolutely fantastic. I love that they decided squat spot here CedarPark. We NEEDED DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!! Have to try their mole enchiladas. Kid friendly also.

Yelp
Whoever wrote a bad review can get out of here with that because you're just a negative Nancy or woke up on the wrong side of the bed! My husband and I came here today for the first time, immediately felt welcomed and at home and left already wanting to go back - both with and without our kids! Luis, the bartender, was fun, friendly and mixed some incredible cocktails! The GM (or whom I'm assuming is the GM or owner), Gian, was so gregarious and kind I want to have him over for our next dinner party! We didn't eat as we came for happy hour only, but I heard others muttering with full mouths about how good the food was. They also do events (open mic night, yoga, etc) AND they have an increased cream trailer and playground for the littles. What more can you ask for?! Lastly, you can skip the ordering at the counter and go straight to a table, scan the QR code, order from the app and the food will be brought to you or you'll be texted when it's ready depending on how busy they are! What a breeze! I cannot wait to go back here and eat, drink, let the kids play and hang out again soon! Hidden gem in Cedar Park that I MAY regret sharing but definitely worth the praise and a visit - if you're cool and not cranky!

Yelp
I'm so happy to have such a fantastic option for coffee and breakfast in Cedar Park. I'd put this on par with Radio and Cosmic in terms of coffee/food quality and ambiance. The owner is also super lovely and they've obviously made a huge effort to create this place. I finally tried something other than breakfast tacos, and I have to say these were the best pancakes I've ever tried. On a side note, the baristas actually know what they're doing! A+

Yelp
Such a cute spot! You can tell a lot of work was put into this. Inside & out The atmosphere is a nice chill vibe and the customer service was excellent friendly and attentive. We tried the green enchiladas and puffy tacos, and both were delicious. I really liked the rice and of course the frozen margarita The menu offers a nice variety, including burgers, salads, and chicken tenders, so there's something for everyone. Looking forward to coming back on a warmer day to enjoy the patio

Yelp
Unfortunately not much impressed on our visit to La Dosis. Food was lacking flavor. It seemed like they couldn't decide on a food theme so the menu is a mash of random things. You order at the front by the door and get a number. Sadly, we had to ask to get our food because the front staff were distracted when our food came up under the warming lamps. Besides the goodbye we didn't get much service. Great location with plenty of room to fill.

Yelp
NOT Worth the Wait! Food was blah. Service was nonexistent. Orders were taken by 2-cashiers upfront and was painfully long... followed by an unnecessarily extensive wait on cocktails & the never ending guessing game if that's our food was excruciating. *Orders not made or pushed out in a standard order or sequence. Residing in Leander since 2001, the excitement & curiosity our family experiences when we try a new restaurant makes for an exciting Friday night. La Dosis (previously JJs BBQ) still has the same kid, family, & dog friendly exterior setup. The ambiance, furniture, & ingredients are all high quality - but the end result was disappointing. Items ordered: PIRATA TACOS (2) flour tortillas, local beef fajita from mtx ranch in mason, texas, grilled jack cheese, onion & cilantro. This was accompanied by a side of rice the size of an espresso cup & black beans that had been pureed like baby food. The 'beef fajitas' were meatless, basically non existent. The long wait didn't ensure hot food or even warm food... For $20 I ordered combined those ingredients together and you will receive a flavorless, bland, fraction of a meal. Honestly, I'm glad the portions were small... less I had to 'hide' in my napkin or spread out on the plate.

Hannah C.

Yelp
Been here several times for drinks and dinner with family and friends. Great spot!! The food is delicious. Great area for kids. Love the cocktails and the Pirata Tacos. Seriously underrated.

Yelp
This place is great. The owners are outgoing and make you feel welcome. Jessie the bartender, was friendly and professional. The Chiquita Bonita and Carajillo are the standout drinks in my opinion. I had the Morning Dosage. It's your basic two egg breakfast, executed perfectly. I'm a snob and ask for my eggs soft scrambled as a test (sorry I'm insufferable. I know). They were perfect. The back yard is large and amazing. I like that this place can be both family friendly or I can elect to stay away from them a chill at the bar.

Anthony F.

Yelp
My wife and I ate here recently and ordered an achiote chicken salad and a taco plate. The salad was very flavorful, light and balanced. The taco plate had many authentic flavors including black beans and cilantro Spanish rice. All of the employees here were very nice and friendly. They made us feel very welcome and offered their recommendations of the day. They stopped by our table to ask if everything was satisfactory and invited us back to try out their drinks during dinner. We ate at their outdoor patio seating which was very pleasant. The patio is nice for watching games on their many TVs. They had music playing on the patio speakers which created a relaxing environment to have lunch.

Liz B.

Yelp
Best spot out there for brunch- super friendly, fast, great food, and not crazy wait times. Great management too. Definitely worth the drive out from Austin. Our favorite coffee over all the trendy Austin spots!!!
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
Delicious food, amazing service! Homemade salsa and tortillas are top notch, and the in-house ginger beer?! Love the play area for kids too
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Unfortunately super mediocre experience for the $. Friendly staff, nice outdoor area and container bar... definitely has potential to be a great spot for CP standards but overall the food was just greasy and bad, like a diner you only want to eat at when you're hungover, only at 5x the cost! Scramble was basically a sloppy oily omelette and half of it was translucent cheese and raw onion. Fruit was unripe and tasteless. Pancakes were super chewy with a bland, powdery aftertaste. I never leave food on my plate but these were sadly just bad. Cortado was great!
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
Flat white was good but service was extremely slow. Took more than 30 minutes to get a breakfast taco and a breakfast smash burger. The table next to us didn't get their eggs cooked as they requested and the toast was over cooked it literally snapped in two. Hopefully it was just an off day. Breakfast taco was good but small for the price.

Danielle M.

Yelp
Coffee and food were definitely good. We got an iced latte with Oat milk and an iced vanilla latte. The coffee menu is on a board and food is an actual menu. We got chorizo & egg tacos, and chicken&waffles. Tacos were HUGE! Salsa verde was yummy. Waffles were fluffy and yummy, chicken was kind of dry, but tasted okay. Served with buffalo sauce and syrup. Everyone was nice! I'll just say that the place definitely gives bar-vibes, which was weird to walk into in the morning. We went on a cloudy day, but I think the place could be a bit brighter? We'll be back to enjoy their huge covered patio, coffee and tacos!
google avatar

Yelp
Love it! Downtown vibes cocktail / coffee spot with really good food too. Hope the quality continues to be great!

Yelp
Been so excited for La Dosis to open! We went to La Dosis last weekend for their soft opening and it was GREAT! They redid the space in a beautiful way, and added a great patio. Their iced lavender latter was 10/10 and paired with their breakfast tacos- you couldn't ask for a better way to start your morning! Can't wait to frequent this place!!
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Y'all. Puffy tacos. Perfection. My husband had the mole enchiladas and they were also delicious.
google avatar

Becca C.

Yelp
We went to La Dosis today for breakfast and coffee and it was a great experience all around! Friendly staff, our cappuccinos were great, the breakfast tacos were phenomenal (my kids loved them too), and we loved the shaded area in the back for the kids to play. We will definitely be regulars!

Ashton T.

Yelp
The food is off the chain. The service is top tier, attentive, efficient, friendly. That's the best way i I can explain it. The concept itself is so cool, if you don't want to wait in line you can order EVERYTHING from the QR code on your table. They have a tree web out back that kids can play on. Besame Ice cream truck is on property as well. We ordered the Puffy tacos, the Mole Enchiladas & Pirata tacos. All are borderline addictive. The Oaxcan Wipeout & La Sancha were our cocktails. I'm beyond excited to have this in Cedar Park & can't wait to be considered a regular. If you haven't been you DEFINITELY need to go. P.S. Get the onion Rings. WOW!

Ruby C.

Yelp
very expensive, my husband and I ordered eggs over medium, mine were over hard and his were runny. No regular sugar available for coffee. No napkins available just cheap brown paper towels and plastic silverware.

Yelp
I want to begin by saying I really like this restaurant, I'm just a person with a lot of opinions. Definitely give this place a try. In my opinion, overall this is a "good" restaurant, but there are only a few small things keeping it from being a "great" restaurant. I'll go through these in detail below, in hopes that the restaurant can consider investigating potential solutions. I've obviously been there several times and plan on going back soon! Food: Beginning with the food, I feel like most of their food is really good. I'm partial to the breakfast foods which are served all week, but there are different menus for weekday vs weekend and brunch vs dinner, which can be a bit confusing and the hours for the changeover aren't really clear. The portions are a bit small for the cost, but that seems to be true everywhere nowadays. The quality, taste, and presentation of their food ranges from excellent to just above average depending on the dish and how crowded they are. The only bad thing I've had was some nachos (chips with queso poured on them, not shredded cheese). I got steak fajita nachos and the meat was kind of weird and tough, but I assume that was a fluke. The baked goods exist in this liminal display case that is always unlit and unlabeled, making all of them these unidentifiable mystery cakes and pastries. I think they will have ice cream at some point, but I've never seen it. Ambiance: The vibe here is kind of strange. It doesn't have the chill vibe of a coffee shop, but a more chaotic kid-friendly bar vibe. The music is occasionally too loud and ranges from oldies to tejano. I often see the owners taking up a table or two, either working or doing some sort of prep activity that has spilled out to the dining area. There is always a PInk's Window Service van in the parking lot, probably as advertising. Most of the clientele here are cap-wearing golf dads with white Tesla energy, often with a handful of unsupervised children. Also, people bring dogs inside sometimes which is a little ick. Service: Everyone working there has been very friendly and helpful. Bussers occasionally have trouble finding the right table for the order when they are crowded. I feel bad for how far the bussers have to go when they bring food out to the playground area. The line to order goes slow sometimes. Design and Comfort: The layout is very strange. Most of the seating is designed for large parties, which makes it feel more like a beer hall. The flow is very bad. The line to order will block the main door if there are more than four people in it. To complicate things, you need to pick up coffee from the ordering area and cocktails from the adjacent bar, which leads to the aforementioned clientele walking through the narrow pathway to the patio while delicately balancing their overfilled espresso martinis. Anyone standing at the soda machine essentially blocks the pathway from the bar to the patio and hilariously the brightness of the custom logo at the top of their fountain essentially blinds anyone getting a soda from seeing any busser or client who needs to get by. Facilities: The outdoor area is really big with lots of space for large parties. The outdoor service window and outdoor bar haven't been in service when I've been there, excited for those to open. They have an interesting tree bungee cord type playground, not a traditional one, kids seem to enjoy it, but probably not for everyone. They could use more shade outside of the patio. The unfinished wood walls are a bit of an odd choice, so is the bathroom "hallway" that leads immediately to bathroom doors, seems like wasted space. The bathroom faucets seem to only run when you push the button, which is awkward. I find it odd that they use the unabsorbent brown paper towels in the restaurant, like those that you would find in a school's bathroom. The owners clearly care a lot about this place and have done a lot of work to get it to this point. I really think just a little more effort will make this a 5-star experience for everyone.

Yelp
The taco was good snd kids play area in the back but the prices are just nuts. $6 for a single breakfast taco. Over $10 with coffee. That's just nuts. Nope

Great coffee and food. Staff are attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere. Have only tried breakfast.

Hidden gem that needs more attention. Great drinks and food. It has coffee, Beer, and specialty cocktails and a killer patio. Please give it a try

Yelp
This place is really cool. Great drinks, good beer selection, and cool patio. Wanting to put the word out. Local place cedar park needs more of.

Yelp
We were excited to try La Dosis tonight based on reviews we read. Sadly, nothing lived up to our expectations. We ordered Enchiladas Verde and Puffy Tacos. Both dishes came out ice cold. We sent them back and they came out 10 minster apart with the rice and beans still cold. They did bring a separate plate of rice and beans that were warm, but it was too little, too late. The food was basically inedible as well. The chicken in the tacos was insanely salty and over smoked. The rice was also extremely salty and tasted like a box kit from HEB. The enchiladas weren't "verde." Maybe poblano. The sauce was thick with no tomatillo. Lastly, the lemon bar we purchased was not lemon. It was an overly sweet cream bar. Regarding service, it was horrible. The servers never checked to see if our dishes were okay. They spent more time talking behind the register. I hope it was just a bad night, but it was bad enough not to give it another try.

Yelp
Have been wanting to try this new coffee and cocktail shop. Tried today and was phenomenal. Yummy blueberry gluten free muffin and chai latte. One of the best chai's ever. Excellent service as well! Tried their homemade tortilla chips also. Yummy! Noted nice outdoor area also. Excited to go back soon.

Yelp
It's kind of hard to screw up breakfast tacos but we waited over half an hour to get two breakfast tacos. Then when they were delivered they were so greasy they were inedible. The ingredients did not taste good and at $4.25 each they were pretty thin. We won't be back!

Yelp
Ordered a bacon and taco. Came out to 8 bucks. I walked out gave them a review and they came back all defensive.

Yelp
They serve Merit coffee which was a good sign to me and the breakfast tacos were delicious. Excited to come back in the evening to try different food and their cocktail menu. The service was not friendly and quite stand offish and my cortado was basically a latte which was unfortunate but loved the backyard area they had for kids and plenty of seating so will be back for sure.

Yelp
10/10 experience. Smash burger was to die for and grilled chicken sandwich FIRE! The owner kept checking on us and made us feel welcomed!! The patio was beautiful and the music set the tone perfectly. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Their food was good. The coffee was less than could be desired especially for a $7 endless cup. Ambiance is nice. Service was fast. Brought our meal out quickly.

Yelp
I am a fan of Taco Flats and was excited to try this place. We ordered the trio chips ( with queso, salsa and guacamole). Split a chicken sandwich/fries and two cocktails. The espresso martini was amazing ! Legit espresso machine and serving Merrit beans. Prices were good since we went during happy hour. Not sure why someone said $10 Tacos? You can order online and see the prices. Homemade chips! Worth it!

Yelp
Nice to have a large, non-corporate restaurant with a big, open outdoor dining area in CP. Fantastic large outdoor seating under the oak trees with a great play area for the kids. Perfect atmosphere for a relaxed spring evening. Food was good, dirty nachos were a favorite. Good draft and cocktails. However it was windy and while our drinks were in glassware, the food was all on/in paper plates/boats and stuff was constantly flying into the surrounding field. By the looks of all the paper napkins and plates out there, this is a common problem. Plates and silverware would be an improvement, even if just heavy plastic.

Yelp
Ordered two large lattes to go. they had no lids for them so i had to pour them into the small cups only to find out, they are actually the same size. So avoid the large size, its a rip off. Next was the apathetic cashier/barista who "didnt want to talk because hes losing his voice", buddy, thats your job, stay home if you cant do the one thing you need to do. I had high hopes for this place, the food is actually good. The atmosphere is terrible, extremely loud music both inside and outside, forcing everyone to have to talk louder making it just unbearable.
