Austin Restaurant Openings to Know This February 2025 | Eater Austin

"An all-day coffee-and-cocktails concept in Cedar Park from the owners of La Holly and Taco Flats, serving locally roasted beans from Merit Coffee. The food menu includes dirty nachos made with black beans and queso; kolaches stuffed with sausage, potato and egg, or picadillo; a smash burger and other handhelds; tacos; and some family-style platters for dinner. The cocktail menu is heavy on coffee cocktails and frozen drinks, alongside a mix of classic cocktails and originals." - Courtney E. Smith

Great spot for the whole family. As soon as we walked in we were met by the super inviting and friendly staff that made us feel right at home. We came in at lunch time on a rare Friday off from work. Started off with an amazing Latte complete with art.. It was great. Carnitas and Pirates tacos were on point. Kids Tenders with fries were also good. We decided to indulge ourselves enjoying a great margarita and one of the cold IPA’s on draft! Atmosphere was amazing with a great sound system to enjoy the music, but not too loud that you couldn’t hold an intimate conversation or work with the in-house Wi-Fi. Plenty of TVs to watch all your sports etc! My son enjoyed the outdoor patio and field equipped with an awesome trampoline in the trees!! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

We went on the soft opening day last May of 2024 and then went in January of 2025. There was tons of improvement from the soft opening so I won't even write about then, but the last time we came here for dinner, the food was decent but I wouldn't say it was five stars. My family and I went during the soft opening (husband + 2 littles), and then my husband and I went on a date for dinner in January. The atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly, I spoke with the owners for a while and I really think they have a good thing going for them. My sister said she's been here for breakfast and loves the breakfast, but I can only speak to the dinner menu. Since this was a while back I honestly can't remember what we ate, but the pictures show the food we ordered. When we visited, the outside bar wasn't open; the pictures are from before. I've seen that they've opened the outside bar and improved on the grounds a bit since we've been there, including adding some tree nets for the kiddos which is great! I did have coffee here the morning after the soft opening and it was good. We'll have to keep trying it since it's so close by, and hopefully we can update the review to five stars. Still a great place to hang and have some drinks and food though, I would recommend for all ages!

We went here for dinner the first time yesterday and had a great experience! They weren’t too busy when we got there. All the staff was super friendly and service was quick. They had a very spacious patio and part of it is covered. The indoor space is really cute. The food and drinks were amazing. We got their frozen drinks. The margarita had a little spice, which I liked. I got the smash burger and it was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It looked like a burger picture that is on a menu. My husband got the pulled pork and it was really good too. The sauce was delicious and the meat wasn’t too fatty, like some pulled porks are. The fries they have are the psoriasis fries-they were good too. We also got a tres leches to go, and usually I don’t like tres leches (my husband does) but this one was SO GOOD. The music playlist was also good and not too loud so we didn’t have to yell to hear each other. Everything was also clean. Great little spot! We will definitely be back here!

Google
Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s my new spot! So happy we are getting some culture to Cedar Park and not more chain Restaurants… The food is amazing, the coffee and drinks are fantastic, and the employees and all over aesthetic of this place are spot on. I get so excited to come here after yoga, catch up on some emails, grab some breakfast and coffee and get my day started!

Google
Checked out la dosis earlier this week and have already returned and introduced it to others. I love the spot in the back with the tree net. The coffee is quality and they serve their coffee in locally made ceramic mugs which I loved. We will definitely frequent this spot.

Google
This place is such a gem! The food is delicious, the staff is really sweet and very helpful, great service and the cocktails are top notch. It’s family friendly and I love that there’s a covered/enclosed patio as well as regular outdoor seating. It’s great to have both options when you have dogs and or kids with you. One of my Cedar Park favorites!

Finny P.

Google
We came here because we heard it was great for kids. The tree net is really nice for the kids, and there’s an area with jenga and corn hole. I like the space, but the food… The food is in the shape of really good food, but doesn’t taste like anything. The smashburger almost made me think I had covid and lost my taste. The enchiladas verdes had some flavor coming from the salsa on top. The kids quesadilla was decent, but pretty salty. It’s very 90s tex mex. Seasoning seems to be an afterthought. 10/10 place if you think apple cider is spicy

Lena

Google
The food was really tasty overall. The fried and chicken biscuits were standouts. The service for coffee/cocktails was lacking in some regards (incorrect order etc.) and the menu prices/descriptions had a few inaccuracies and missing info (like if the breakfast sandwiches came with a side). But those weren’t things that overshadowed the overall great experience. Would definitely come back here✨ 👌🏽✨

Yelp
Awesome. Drinks are spot on and the dinners are amazing. Whoever knocks this place due to "vibes" or drinks just being soso- they must be bots. This place is our friend's favorite spot and is way better than any other Mexican restaurant around!

Yelp
La Dosis C&C is a fairly new addition to the CP replacing JJs. there is plenty of parking and if the front lot is full there is ample space behind the building. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and they were serving brunch. We ordered the chip trio, a smash burger (seems like everyone is offering these) and Plus 1 ordered the chilaquiles. There are two options for ordering: at the counter or via QR code. You can place your food and your adult drink order at the same time. The chip trio arrived with a generous portion of chips, salsa ranchera, guacamole, and queso. My smash burger was cooked perfectly medium, and it was accompanied by a lot of French fries that I could not even finish. Plus 1 chilaquiles dish was beyond huge, and we could have easily split it. She is a chilaquiles snob, and she was not that impressed with the La Dosis offering. She said it was pretty bland, but OK if that makes sense. I believe you can surmise that the portions are beyond adequate, so take care if you are ordering Apps with your entrees. They do have a full bar and excellent local craft beers. They also offer specialty drinks. I was happy to see Meanwhile Secret Beach and Pils on tap. They do not pour heavy here, and I swear Plus 1's Tito and club was a 1 oz. shot. The shaded patio area is large and has picnic tables, fans, and multiple TVs. Behind the patio, there is a large area with another bar that was closed, a stage, and large-screen TVs. This would be a great spot to gather the crew for a game or for their live music events. Pro tip: They are kid--and dog-friendly. Dogs must be leashed and on the patio or outside. It's up to you if you wish to leash your kiddos (LOL)! ,

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place, especially the Froot Loop matcha... only to find out it was actually just vanilla and lavender. Everything here is extremely overpriced, and I honestly don't understand why because the quality does not match the cost at all. The matcha was awful. One of the worst I've had and it was almost $9 for something I couldn't even finish. My favorite matcha in downtown Austin is that price and it's sensational. The fried pickles were the only thing that tasted decent, but even those were crazy overpriced. The vibe was just poorly executed. It felt like they couldn't decide what they wanted to be. The patio gives mediocre sports bar, the covered outdoor area has fluorescent lights and random sports on TV, and the inside feels like it wanted to be a Mexican diner but changed its mind halfway through. You order at the counter, but it felt like the cashier was making it up as she went along. I asked if they whisk their matcha or could tell me anything about it, the staff member just said she didn't know about matcha. Next, we asked about how they do a Froot Loop flavor. She said "it's a combination of syrups," I said "what syrups?" She said "housemade ones" and I said "what flavors?" Finally she told me it was vanilla and lavender, but it was like pulling teeth to get an answer. The customer service, quality, flavors, pricing, and decor were off. Best thing about this place was the cute street-facing sign.

Yelp
We're here at least once a week... Food is wonderful - smash burgers, breakfast tacos, salads. Gorgeous cocktails. First-rate espresso drinks. Covered, screened patio, plus a large outdoor space (all with tvs) perfect for kids and fall gamedays!

Yelp
I know... I know. How can I give this place such a low rating? Well, here's why... (FYI - This is my 2nd visit in the past 4-months) GOOD: The staff is still as lively as I remember. (Almost too lively) But, hey, who doesn't like a happy staff, right! NOT-SO-GOOD: The young lady at the register made this such an unpleasant experience for me. Now, I don't know if she was "new", but when you have to ask someone else about every item a customer orders, that does scream 'This is my 3rd year.' While ordering, I asked if I could have Fries with my Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich with grilled onions, extra pickles and ranch on the side, (that's important later) and was told a basket of fries was $8. Not an issue until I received my food later. After patiently waiting at the bar for 10-15 mins, my food comes out and what I saw just pissed me off! Not only did I have a basket of fries, but my sandwich was placed with none other than (yep, you guessed it) a side of FRIES!!! But, what happened next was what sent my blood pressure up. I look at the "extra" fries, I then look directly at the young lady in front of me, and she looks at the plate to see that there were extra fries, and commences to say to a co-worker, "I forgot the sandwich came with fries." Then she looks at me and makes an 'Oops! Oh well' face, and continues making drinks. While it took everything in me not to blow up in that moment, I calmly asked to get everything to-go. Then, the person (who I presume is the owner/manager) inquired "why" they were making my order to-go... saying all this in Spanish - which I don't speak it very well, but I can clearly understand. Kudos to the other staff member who tried to make it right by offering a refund (which I declined, because it wasn't about the money at that point). She provided me with a gift card as a way to say 'sorry for the trouble.' I didn't want the gift card, but didn't want to be rude - so I accepted it. The sandwich looked great, but missed the mark. Too much breading to make it appear like a very large piece of chicken. Since I had to take it all to-go, the fries were not the best (surely not worth $8) when I eventually got around to eating them. Oh, and get this... I never received my "ranch on the side!" ‍

Yelp
Talk about an amazing drink! I was here for a Cedar Park Chamber event and had the chance to try the whiskey old fashion with their Chip Trio! I absolutely loved the old fashion and the chips with all three sides (queso, guacamole, and salsa) were up to my expectations! I didn't leave disappointed!

Yelp
Yum!!! Great food, cool atmosphere, lots of space. I dig this cafeteria style spot. Great drinks, too. Chilaquiles were great! Queso was so-so but the chips were spot on. Gonna be back!

Yelp
Super cute casual dining that is family friendly, coffee shop and cocktails and more! We've been here casually on Sunday afternoon to get out of the house and La Dosis is such a cute charming space inside and out for lots of fun for adults and kiddos alike. The tree net wizards installed a fun little bounce space for the kids to run around and play, and there are plenty of tables all about to make sure you can be close by and get some shade in. I'd love to see more as it has much potential but understand they're just up and coming! Service has always been friendly, efficient and quick with ordering at counter and them bringing the food out. The cocktails you do have to pick up at bar but it's great for a little get together and casually eating and playing which is always a score in our book for a place to be on the weekends!

Yelp
Had the best vanilla latte (w/ almond milk) I've had in a while! Wasn't sure but came in cause of social media. Coffee and banana bread were GREAT! Menu looks good, but was only hungry for coffee. Will return!

Yelp
We had seen this suggested on places you may not be aware in or around Austin on IG. We went for a weekend brunch, the menu at the counter even has weekend only on the back so not sure how it differs from weekday menu. It is mostly counter service, according to the sign when you come in you order all food at the counter, Drinks can be ordered at counter or through QR Code. Not sure where the QR code is as we just had one round of drinks that we ordered at the same time as the food. It is a clean place, with lots of seating including long tables for large parties and a patio area with cover and many TV's. It is clearly marked. For Soda and Water it is self service. The gentleman at the counter was fast and friendly, made more impressive with the fact he was dealing with several families and kids, some of which had various demand and some confusion. After you order you can close or leave open your tab, they give you a number and the food is delivered but you are called up to get your drinks. We order the chips trio which comes with salsa, queso, and Guac. I see from some other review and pictures it was white queso at one time but we had very yellow queso. The queso and salsa were fine, I don't eat guac so I will leave that review to my wife. SHANA SAYS: Good cocktails! Great salsa and guacomole. I got a breakfast smash burger, a side of bacon, and a sausage patty. Shana got the Migas. Both were good, the sausage patty was the best of my meal. We each got a cocktail. Hers was an espresso martini and I honestly forgot the name of mine but both were very good. The price was average, it was good an a nice place. Glad we tried it. It is a little out of our way but not so much that we can't make it back some day.

Yelp
A cute spot to grab coffee, drinks and food. Stopped by on a Sunday morning to grab some breakfast and get out of the house. Service was great. The inside is a little jam packed with tables and chairs but i guess if they do they busy at peak times it makes sense. So if your going with a stroller like i was you just need to move around some chairs and tables. Love that for their coffee they offer alternative milks. Ordered a cap accu i with oat milk and a Huevos Ranchero. The coffee was good and tasteful, just a tad bit extra cinnamon flavor. The Huevos ranchero was flavorful, i would only say their beans are a bit on the looser texture side.

Yelp
A new experience in an old place in Cedar Park. The building used to house J&J barbecue. After the new owner spent a year remodeling, it opened recently as a coffee, cocktail, and food bar. It looks the same on the outside, but as soon as you open the door you realize you're not in the sane place any more. The new interior is sparkling clean with all new furnishings, wall treatments, and serving setup. It's very modern and upbeat and busy! They serve many breakfast options, appetizers, sandwiches and Tex-Mex food accompanied by an upscale coffee bar and a variety of cocktails. Can you bring Fido? Of course you can!! There is an enclosed patio setting that allows dogs as well as plenty if outdoor tables as well. There's even an outdoor bar! I had a breakfast smashburger which was a hamburger size sandwich with a homemade pork sausage patty, fried egg and cheese served with country fried potatoes and it was very good but I would have preferred it on a biscuit rather than a hamburger bun. . My daughter had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was made with real cream and we all had to try that delicacy. My wife had a breakfast taco and complained that it was about half the size as similar priced ones at other places. A companion had the rancheros breakfast plate and said it was one of the best he has had anywhere. So all-in-all 4 stars because of personal preferences. We are glad to see this place open again with an all new upbeat look snd an all new menu. The food is very good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised by Las Dosis, it chooses to do a lot of things but it does it well. Dropped by for a brunch and got their chips trio, and iced latte with cinnamon and some breakfast tacos. When it comes to the food, the iced coffee was super smooth and the cinnamon gave it a great twist. It was solid, brewed with care. The chips trio was proper some of the best I've had and a crowd pleaser, with delicious home made chips- it came with queso, guacamole with lime and a fresh salsa that was killer. The breakfast tacos were awesome too. My favorite was just the cheese and egg one, which i had with corn. The green salsa had a good kick. Everything was made to order and tasted fresh. The ambience of this place was super chill, with the perfect mood. Upbeat music, not too bright and a perfect place to get some work done if needed. Prices were reasonable and cant wait to come back to try some of their lunch/dinner offerings. Staff was super friendly and attentive, with the owner asking us how everything was. They did everything right to make us happy. Absolutely worth checking out.

Yelp
Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner and it was surprisingly quiet for being a new spot. I had no expectations coming in having never been to any other of the restaurants belonging to this ownership group, just that the sign says coffee and cocktails. It's counter service for everything which I was a little surprised about given the cocktails but it worked out. Cocktails were tasty and strong. The dip trio was pretty good, white queso, some okay salsa (a bit watery), and chunky guac. Puffy tacos were a smash hit, with awesome textures and good flavors with a pulled chicken. The outdoor space looks awesome when the weather is nice, and a great spot for families.

Yelp
Cedar park has got a new brunch/coffee/bar spot in town and it is amazing! The service was awesome, I believe the owner was walking around as well and asking how everything went. There's plenty of seating and open area to relax while sipping on some coffee or brew. The food was amazing! We had the chilaquiles and the huevos rancheros plates and both were fantastic! I can't wait to try more menu items. It definitely feels like the next big spot in town and can't wait to see what other additions they make to the business!
google avatar

Yelp
Recently visited for the crawfish boil. Buddy and I torched 9 lbs of crawfish which were great. All crawfish (which I prefer) but if they do add others they increase the weight to accommodate for the other bits. Owner and staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plenty of room inside and there also was a patio area. Clean and nice looking with a bar and enchiladas were great too. It was nice to see a place that didn't have super dry chicken. Definitely going to have to try the sandwiches and other items on the menu. Everything was full of flavor and went great with a beers.

Yelp
La Dosis is Cedar Park's newest addition to the culinary scene--a Tex-Mex restaurant that reimagines the genre with a level of refinement one rarely encounters. Where many renditions of Tex-Mex lean heavily on grease and lard, La Dosis presents dishes with a sophisticated balance, allowing the diner to savor the nuances of each ingredient and appreciate why this regional fare deserves to be considered true cuisine. Despite its elevated flavors, the atmosphere remains invitingly unpretentious. Guests place their orders at the counter, then relax as their selections are brought to the table. The communal-style seating--with generously sized tables accommodating parties of 15 or more--enhances the restaurant's warm, convivial spirit, encouraging guests to dine as extended family. On my first visit, I began with the chip sampler, an elegant trio of guacamole, queso, and salsa. I admit to being a snob when it comes to guacamole, yet this version was nothing short of superb: creamy, fresh, and vibrant with flavor. From there, we sampled the chicken flautas and the chicken mole. The flautas were refreshingly traditional, relying on quality fillings wrapped in a delicate tortilla rather than being disguised by a heavy fry. The chicken--mesquite-smoked rotisserie--was extraordinary, imparting a depth of flavor that lingered. The mole, however, was the true revelation. Mole is my perennial weakness, and too often it disappoints with muddled execution. Not here. La Dosis's mole is exceptional, layered with complexity, each spice and ingredient singing in harmony. I found myself requesting an additional side of sauce simply to savor it with warm tortillas. On a return visit, I indulged in the migas, a comforting medley of scrambled eggs, crisped tostada pieces, and pico de gallo--simple, yet executed with finesse. Entrées are paired thoughtfully: dinner with refried black beans and Mexican rice, breakfast with black beans and seasoned home fries. The menu, while concise, demonstrates restraint and intention; each dish is carefully curated and worth exploring in turn. La Dosis has elevated Tex-Mex in Cedar Park, delivering not just meals but memorable dining experiences. It is a welcome gem--one that proves familiar flavors can be transformed into something truly distinguished.

Yelp
I was thrilled to finally visit this place--I'd been eagerly waiting for it to open for a while. As you enter, you'll find parking available both in the front and back. The entrance features a charming garden with a picnic bench under a tree and a park bench, perfect for enjoying nice days outside. They did extensive renovations compared to what it used to be, and it's incredible! Upon entering, you're greeted with a warm welcome from all the employees (love that!). I originally went for the chai latte but discovered their weekend brunch menu, which had an impressive selection and smelled amazing. While waiting for our drinks, I explored the back. OMG, it's fantastic! We went early in the morning, expecting it to be a bit chilly on the patio, but it wasn't. They had patio heaters throughout the indoor patio, maintaining a comfortable temperature. There were also speakers playing music and several televisions. But wait, what?! They have an outdoor bar in the back along with an outdoor patio, and you can bring your leashed dog! Wow! I noticed they are building something else in the back, but I didn't venture there. It looked like picnic benches and possibly a playground, though I'm not sure. We got our latte and chai latte drinks, and they were excellent. The temperature was just right, the flavor was delightful, and the presentation was amazing--the cups were so cute, and the barista is an artist! Um...this place is looking like my new favorite hangout! It's super chill, very clean dinning area, clean bathrooms , and there's plenty of seating for everyone, including indoor, outdoor, and even for the fur babies! I'll definitely be back

Yelp
I finally went to La Dosis after seeing it pop up all over my social media, and I'm so glad I did! We tried the cortado and the lavender chai latte -- both were delicious. I do wish the lavender chai had been a bit hotter, but the flavor totally made up for it. We also ordered a chicken wrap but got a chicken sandwich instead, and honestly, no complaints -- it was really good! Definitely planning to go back on a sunny day.

Yelp
Surprised how good the food was we picked up, A very good hamburger, better than Wayback. Great interaction with staff when picking up order. We will go back without hesitatio. High quality food and taste.

Yelp
What a great surprise to find La Dosis! I cannot be more emphatic - this is a great spot! Expansive patio, true craft cocktails, and friendly service round out this new cocktail and coffee spot in the 613! Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

Yelp
The whole evening went well. Great staff. Great food. Great vibe. Can't wait to go back and try the coffee and more dishes. I love the back and all the plates.

Yelp
Service was nice and easy to order and ask questions about food and sadly frozen machines was done so no frozen lemonade choice was available. The hot sauce bottles need to be refilled.. you have to get your own silverware cups and salt, shakers and hot sauce and black pepper.. tables are long and short, green chairs, wooden dance, maroon booth setting you can pick your own table sit anywhere. The stools at the bar are wooden and no back., no cushion available for them. The staff doesn't have any uniform on. QR code scanning options for the table menu you can pay at the table or go up to the bar area to pay. The parking lot is pretty clean and parking available. The music is very low inappropriate for this place. Kitchen is a open concept. so the kitchen man is wearing a different restaurant logo T-shirts and no gloves but just a hat and the other kitchen staff is wearing the restaurants T-shirt logo just a necklace and no net but gloves.tomatoes inside the salad non of them were good had to take each one out . Few lettuce leaves were not good had to take some out . Dressing was given to me to go was made that day and the first set of it was made and looked like was made different day color and taste was different from each set for the same thing. I did not like that. They just don't come to your table and check on you at even one time.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Food was awesome and they also have great outdoor space for kids and adults alike. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I ordered the chili & cheese enchiladas and it was the worst meal I have ever ordered at a restaurant. The "chili" was just a scoop of extremely over seasoned taco meat on top. Inside the tortillas was what tasted like stadium yellow liquid cheese, can't even call it queso, and the same cheese was poured over the top. It was so bad that it was inedible. My 10 year old tried it and couldn't eat it either. Ice tea had a weird taste to it too. My husband and son had the smash burger and chicken sandwich. Both said they were good and worth coming back to have again. Margarita was fine. Service was fine. You order at the counter. The vibe inside felt a little weird and was very dark. Outside had a nice set up.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have such a fantastic option for coffee and breakfast in Cedar Park. I'd put this on par with Radio and Cosmic in terms of coffee/food quality and ambiance. The owner is also super lovely and they've obviously made a huge effort to create this place. I finally tried something other than breakfast tacos, and I have to say these were the best pancakes I've ever tried. On a side note, the baristas actually know what they're doing! A+

Yelp
Service issue. Came for lunch, place was not busy at all. Sat at table with a menu. No greeting by staff at door or an obvious seat yourself sign. No sign to say order here. We waited 10 minutes at least 5 feet away from 2 staff members & one other staff member was on her phone texting. No acknowledgement of our existence at all until I asked if we order at the counter. Lady said yeah or qr code on table which was not obvious either. We were 5 feet away so not one of the 3 staff members made any attempts at a greeting or service. Not worth staying so we just left. Do better

Yelp
Such a cute spot! You can tell a lot of work was put into this. Inside & out The atmosphere is a nice chill vibe and the customer service was excellent friendly and attentive. We tried the green enchiladas and puffy tacos, and both were delicious. I really liked the rice and of course the frozen margarita The menu offers a nice variety, including burgers, salads, and chicken tenders, so there's something for everyone. Looking forward to coming back on a warmer day to enjoy the patio

Yelp
Whoever wrote a bad review can get out of here with that because you're just a negative Nancy or woke up on the wrong side of the bed! My husband and I came here today for the first time, immediately felt welcomed and at home and left already wanting to go back - both with and without our kids! Luis, the bartender, was fun, friendly and mixed some incredible cocktails! The GM (or whom I'm assuming is the GM or owner), Gian, was so gregarious and kind I want to have him over for our next dinner party! We didn't eat as we came for happy hour only, but I heard others muttering with full mouths about how good the food was. They also do events (open mic night, yoga, etc) AND they have an increased cream trailer and playground for the littles. What more can you ask for?! Lastly, you can skip the ordering at the counter and go straight to a table, scan the QR code, order from the app and the food will be brought to you or you'll be texted when it's ready depending on how busy they are! What a breeze! I cannot wait to go back here and eat, drink, let the kids play and hang out again soon! Hidden gem in Cedar Park that I MAY regret sharing but definitely worth the praise and a visit - if you're cool and not cranky!

Yelp
Nachos were a great snack! We also enjoys a couple of nice cocktails. The Paloma was good!

Yelp
NOT Worth the Wait! Food was blah. Service was nonexistent. Orders were taken by 2-cashiers upfront and was painfully long... followed by an unnecessarily extensive wait on cocktails & the never ending guessing game if that's our food was excruciating. *Orders not made or pushed out in a standard order or sequence. Residing in Leander since 2001, the excitement & curiosity our family experiences when we try a new restaurant makes for an exciting Friday night. La Dosis (previously JJs BBQ) still has the same kid, family, & dog friendly exterior setup. The ambiance, furniture, & ingredients are all high quality - but the end result was disappointing. Items ordered: PIRATA TACOS (2) flour tortillas, local beef fajita from mtx ranch in mason, texas, grilled jack cheese, onion & cilantro. This was accompanied by a side of rice the size of an espresso cup & black beans that had been pureed like baby food. The 'beef fajitas' were meatless, basically non existent. The long wait didn't ensure hot food or even warm food... For $20 I ordered combined those ingredients together and you will receive a flavorless, bland, fraction of a meal. Honestly, I'm glad the portions were small... less I had to 'hide' in my napkin or spread out on the plate.

Yelp
We come here very often. We love brunch; specially chilaquiles. Best flavor for the green sauce and you don't have to pay extra to add chicken. Breakfast tacos are really good too. We also get chai lattes and strawberry matcha. We don't like super sweet drinks and this is made to perfection!

Yelp
Great food. Great drinks and staff is so friendly. Looking forward to the outdoor area when weather is cooler.

Yelp
Flat white was good but service was extremely slow. Took more than 30 minutes to get a breakfast taco and a breakfast smash burger. The table next to us didn't get their eggs cooked as they requested and the toast was over cooked it literally snapped in two. Hopefully it was just an off day. Breakfast taco was good but small for the price.

Yelp
So this place is interesting... the vibe is kinda coffee shop, but they serve alcohol and have sports on several screens.... Kinda playing two hands but done pretty poorly. We ordered three food items and four drinks. The kids chicken tender basket was fine, but it was definitely over priced... $9 without a drink and it only included one large tender. But, my daughter liked it well enough. My wife's turkey club was pretty good, however she didn't want American cheese (I mean, who does on a sandwich?) so when she asked if she could have cheddar we were told they didn't have any.... Despite the menu mentioning "grilled cheddar" a few lines down but whatever. The only other cheese option was shredded Monterey Jack.... Seriously? The cheese options at a restaurant serving tacos and Sandwiches end at American and Shredded Monterey Jack?!? No offense but I don't want either of those on pretty much anything at all. Thankfully after peeling the plastic cheese off the club, it wasn't bad. I ordered the Chilaquiles, and was asked if I wanted red or green sauce (normal, and I got both) but then asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and how I wanted my eggs cooked.... Why would I want a side of tortillas with a dish that is made of corn chips..... for real? I suppose the egg question might be normal, but since I couldn't remember how my past chilaquiles experiences were made in the past I chose scrambled.... They were dry and over cooked. The dish overall wasn't horrible, it just wasn't $16 good. Drinks were ok, but several beers were out of stock and even a few cocktails (presumably due to specific liquors). Pricing was ok. Not cheap but also not terribly expensive. It's a good place to get an electric jellyfish, I'll say that for sure. Service is pretty minimal since it's counter service. But the main young lady taking our order was incredibly unfriendly, and seemed like she had better places to be. However the bartender was super nice, and knows exactly how to pour a Guinness we also weren't told to wait for our drinks but thankfully saw the sign behind the rude girl... but you can also order drinks at your table via QR code.... So am I supposed to order it and then go get it??? Or will they bring it??? It's information not provided, but getting up to get another round seems absolutely absurd if I'm ordering from my table. Overall the place just doesn't feel like it knows what it wants to be. It wants to be a restaurant, but the food not good enough to come back for. It wants to be a coffee shop, but it's not quiet or cozy enough for it. It wants to be a casual bar for sports, but how are you going to hear a game over the loud pop music?! Also, the beverage delivery seems like an issue for that type of spot. If your couple and one wants to open their MacBook while working and sipping coffee, and the other wants a cold beer (assuming it's in stock) while watching a game on mute then it's the perfect spot! But I'd still avoid the food personally. Again, it's really not bad food, it's just not good enough for the price and you'll find better with a better vibe elsewhere.

Yelp
This place is great. The owners are outgoing and make you feel welcome. Jessie the bartender, was friendly and professional. The Chiquita Bonita and Carajillo are the standout drinks in my opinion. I had the Morning Dosage. It's your basic two egg breakfast, executed perfectly. I'm a snob and ask for my eggs soft scrambled as a test (sorry I'm insufferable. I know). They were perfect. The back yard is large and amazing. I like that this place can be both family friendly or I can elect to stay away from them a chill at the bar.

Yelp
Coffee and food were definitely good. We got an iced latte with Oat milk and an iced vanilla latte. The coffee menu is on a board and food is an actual menu. We got chorizo & egg tacos, and chicken&waffles. Tacos were HUGE! Salsa verde was yummy. Waffles were fluffy and yummy, chicken was kind of dry, but tasted okay. Served with buffalo sauce and syrup. Everyone was nice! I'll just say that the place definitely gives bar-vibes, which was weird to walk into in the morning. We went on a cloudy day, but I think the place could be a bit brighter? We'll be back to enjoy their huge covered patio, coffee and tacos!

Yelp
My wife and I ate here recently and ordered an achiote chicken salad and a taco plate. The salad was very flavorful, light and balanced. The taco plate had many authentic flavors including black beans and cilantro Spanish rice. All of the employees here were very nice and friendly. They made us feel very welcome and offered their recommendations of the day. They stopped by our table to ask if everything was satisfactory and invited us back to try out their drinks during dinner. We ate at their outdoor patio seating which was very pleasant. The patio is nice for watching games on their many TVs. They had music playing on the patio speakers which created a relaxing environment to have lunch.

Yelp
My husband and I just finished brunch here and were genuinely impressed. The chilaquiles might be our favorite in Austin so far -- perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The pancakes were also excellent, and the overall vibe was welcoming and sincere. You can really tell the staff cares about making sure you have a great experience. This spot is definitely going on our list of regulars!

Yelp
The food was alright, wouldn't need to visit again. Over priced for sure based on quality alone, plus it is mostly self-service, which I didn't love. I also was not made aware our tab wasn't closed (I asked for it to be closed) and was charged an automatic 20% tip on my transaction (for again a self-service primarily experience) I was charged this as they said they do this automatically on any tabs that are left open, even though I thought my tab was closed. Really not a fan of the service received, and for the quality of the food I don't think we will be back.

Yelp
Unfortunately super mediocre experience for the $. Friendly staff, nice outdoor area and container bar... definitely has potential to be a great spot for CP standards but overall the food was just greasy and bad, like a diner you only want to eat at when you're hungover, only at 5x the cost! Scramble was basically a sloppy oily omelette and half of it was translucent cheese and raw onion. Fruit was unripe and tasteless. Pancakes were super chewy with a bland, powdery aftertaste. I never leave food on my plate but these were sadly just bad. Cortado was great!

Yelp
Awesome time for a big birthday party. We had the whole patio and the food, service, and venue were awesome. Plenty of room for the kids to run around outside was a plus. If you need a spot for a birthday party or company holiday get together this is the spot! Great drink selection too.

Yelp
Been so excited for La Dosis to open! We went to La Dosis last weekend for their soft opening and it was GREAT! They redid the space in a beautiful way, and added a great patio. Their iced lavender latter was 10/10 and paired with their breakfast tacos- you couldn't ask for a better way to start your morning! Can't wait to frequent this place!!

Yelp
Best spot out there for brunch- super friendly, fast, great food, and not crazy wait times. Great management too. Definitely worth the drive out from Austin. Our favorite coffee over all the trendy Austin spots!!!
