Couldn’t be happier that I live so close to this bakery. The last time I went I needed some bolillos and I got there just when they came out of the oven. So warm! 🤩 Their sweet bread is delicious too. I get an assortment to eat with some coffee or tea every weekend.

Cake was super yummy. It was a rompope flavor. The pan dulce was delicious.

Friendly service. Great bread. Delicious cakes and flans. Just recently I had the pleasure of having some flan from this bakery and it’s amazing! It’s creamy and not too sweet like some flan can be. I’ve been going here for years and will continue to be a customer :)

Customer service sucks. Tried calling and placing an order with directions to write happy birthday on the cake for pick up but they don’t answer my the phone. I went to their website where it says order online and it redirected me to Uber eats. There was a section for special instructions where I requested for them to write happy birthday and once it was delivered I was upset to find for. $40 cake they couldn’t even follow a simple instruction. It ended up being super inconvenient and I’m really disappointed. Just go to a different establishment

The cakes are so tasty and the flan 🍮 it’s sooooo delicious it’s creamy sweet but not too sweet it’s perfect best flan I’ve ever had , the pan dulce is so delicious, the service is great, 10/10 I really recommend this bakery

if i can give 0 stars i would. terrible service do not go here, cake was hard and tasted spoiled. also customer service was terrible very rude and lazy service. do not waste your money. when asked for another cake they hung up on me and ignored. they would not request a refund .

I bought a cake and it was horrible. The writing looks like my four year old wrote it. Didnt bother making it look nice or spell correctly. Worst $35 I spent!

La Dulce has amazing flan cups to go. Delicious. My son really wanted some traditional Pan de Muertos for Dia de los muerto. We went to L. D. the lady was so nice and patient with us. I really need to try the tres leches cakes.

Whenever I am near the area I always have to check in for these tamales. Large tamales at a low cost, not only that but the flavor is something you can't get anywhere else. Recommend anyone to go check out this family owned & operated bakery

We ordered sweet breads, cookies, muffins, and donuts from here through uber eats. Every single item was dry. Nothing was enjoyable. Wouldn't order from here again.

Don't waste your time or money this place is a dump. I purchased some sweet cakes (Pan Dulce) today, and I asked the Mexican lady when they were baked. She replied early this morning as soon, as soon as I arrived home I bit into it, and found out it was old. This is not the place you want to go to for fresh pastries. You have been WARNED!!!

I can't tell you how awesome this place is and how wonderful the head baker is, He has done everything to accommodate us with all smiles the best part is you bring a picture he will create what you want down to every detail I always assumed he was the owner but he's just a baker and a wonderful one super nice and willing to do everything to make your design come out just right. Highly recommend it

As a long time Northsider, I have accepted that although there are a lot of Mexican bakeries, it seems the BEST ones are on the South Side..... Well this one is definitely the exception to this rule. The Mexican Conchas (Mexican sweet bread) here are very good and not too "spongy" which happens when they use to much egg on the dough. Plus the prices are very affordable unlike some other Mexican bakeries that started popping up with a "boutique" feel to them. Here you get simple Mexican Baked Goods at reasonable prices. The ladies that work there have always been sweet and accommodating. Their gelatinas are also very enticing and I like that they seem to always stock up because in the beginning they used to sell fast before the end of the day. But now I go in the evenings and they still have some left. Whenever I have a sweet tooth, this is where we come to get it filled. I have tried their cake slices as well and they are good without being too overpowering with sweetness. Plus they accept credit cards! There is nothing fancy about the place but who needs fancy when the products they sell are good? Besides the fancier the place, the more you can expect to pay. They have a good selection and if you like your carbs, you will find something that will satisfy your carb craving! I mean, Who can really resist a Mexican concha?

Just have to say... BEST... CORNBREAD... MUFFINS... EVER!!! I don't know what they did to that cornbread muffin, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed a cornbread muffin as much as I've had anywhere else. I think their secret ingredient in there was coconut milk. I mean... I found a recipe that was close, but it probably wouldn't do it justice. OMG I couldn't tell you how much my mouth just watered. The place isn't anything spectacular. It's just one of those panaderias where you get a metal plate with some tongs and pick the stuff yourself. Their bread is good, but it's not something I would brag about. One reason for the 1-less star is because the place is unnoticeable. Unless you make a pit stop at the liquor store right next door to it, or stop at Apple Suds to do your laundry, you probably wouldn't see it. I only notice it because my friend is neighbors with the bakery!

I love this place! Any bread I usually get is delicious! Always fresh and tasty. It very easy to miss if your not familiar with the area.

Happen today: Monday, January 22, 2018 I've been trying to get a cake for my brother and I've been there twice to make some changes. Third and last time I went because one of the lady who worked there said to come in early and we will talk about how you want your cake and what design. I went in today and there was a man there who offered to help; I was very polite. I start explaining what I want in the cake and he starts being very rude to the point where he said "well you put down $20. Have your $20 back and you can order it somewhere else." I wasn't being difficult to him at all. All I wanted was an explanation to the how the cake was going to be decorated but apparently, that was too much for him. You can tell he didn't care if he lost a customer or not. Lastly, I ask what is your name and he said "what do you care, Im the owner!" And he left to the back but before that happen when I went to take my $20 from him he was being very aggressive to the point he hurt my hand and I have a scratch from him. I love their cakes and Jocelyn is super nice but the rest of the employees are obviously terrible at customer service!

The best panaderia in the Northside! The conchas are the fukn bomb OMG the best. Bread is always fresh and delicious. I used to go all the time but moved South but I manage to still try to come in when I can to get some bread the conchas specifically. I used to love the corn muffins but now I just like them they use to taste much better. I don't know what happened after they reopened they were simply not the same anymore. They used to have corn pieces and now the don't :( bummer. But they are okay. The tres leches cakes are the best I have ever tasted no lie. Specially when it is made with buttercream instead of regular frosting. The atomic cake is my 2nd favorite one. I JUST LOVE THIS BAKERY BEATS ALL! The baker has gone above and beyond for me and my fam. He is the only baker I have ever trusted to make my cakes for all of my events. Thank you very much and wish this business lots of success
