Orlando’s Best Taco Restaurants | Eater Miami

"Some of the best Mexican street fare in the city can be found at this taqueria situated in a desolate, dirt lot surrounded by chop shops, shipping containers and truck trailers. La Eskinna (not to be confused by Soho celeb hotspot La Esquina in New York City) may be a navigation system’s nightmare but finding the food truck yields some delicious dividends. They come in the form of birria-painted tacos stuffed with mystery steak (the mystery is actually in the cheesy sauce), birria tacos, and birria ramen — ramen noodles lolling in the heady, beefy broth." - Faiyaz Kara

First time here. This is a sweet corn fritter per say and you can add “melted” white cheese and/or proteins. I ordered one corn fritter with “melted” cheese and fried chicharrón. Food was done in less than 5 min which should have been my first red flag. Paid $22.00 for this second red flag. The cheese was literally no exaggeration (look at the photos for reference) a cold piece of block cheese. The corn fritter was fried at too high of a temperature and too quickly which didn’t allow the cheese to Melt at all. Then due to the cold block of cheese inside of the fried fritter once you bite or cut into it the inside is absolutely wet and soggy. I respect different cultures food but highly doubt people eat wet fried corn fritter out of pleasure. The fried chicharrón was good but needs a sauce not sour cream. Maybe some condiments for people that would like a different option. Would not recommend this place AT ALL save your money and eat at Love Taco or get yourself something from Another food stand. You’re welcome 😊

Food: Meat pro: tender and seasoned con: way too salty. Killed the whole enjoyable experience. I wouldn't have even eaten it but I was starving. tortilla pro: held together con: no flavor Service: Super friendly and nice Atmosphere: Florida heat index and no where to get away from it. Could use a small table and chairs with an umbrella. 5/10

$52 dollars for 8 Steak tacos and 3 Birria. No cilantro, only a little bit of onions and the Birria ones were dry. Everything did have a great flavor, but for the ridiculous price you’d expect at least lots of onion, cilantro and some Birria juice to dip in. I’m disappointed

first impressions weren’t great. When we first arrived, there wasn’t anyone in the truck and we waited outside for 5 minutes until we decided to call the number on the truck. When the vendor came out, I was told they didn’t have empanadas and they didn’t carry tacos de lengua which is very common and the only one I like to eat. We ended up getting esquites and they would have been tasty had she not added the amount of certain ingredients that she did. It was quite salty and sour and I’ve never had them with this much seasoning. I might give them another try in a different location

First Timer. The Exterior could use a few chairs & tables under a canopy. Met Fernanda & she's Awesome-great customer Svce & very polite👍. I got 2 Quesadillas & they were both delicious, not too much salt, done just right, she knows how to cook👍🤗. Thx again Fernanda, stay SAFE & keep up the Good Work🇺🇲🤝🇲🇽

So seriously, I am a transplanted southern Californian who has spent the last 6 years trying to find tacos in Florida to rival anything from home. I have found a few places that have been decent and at least made me miss home less, and honestly I thought once or twice I had found the best tacos I was going to ever find in Orlando. Well I am here to tell you every taco I’ve had in Florida pales in comparison to these. We had the Birria, mystery steak and the Al pastor as well as an order of cheese empanadas. I can not speak highly enough of all of this food. It’s less than 30 minutes since I had this food and I am having to stop myself from driving back for more cause it was that good. Do not miss out on this place if you have the opportunity to try it. Small side note: when you are driving to this place you will think you are lost and there is no way you are going to a good location, ignore these concerns and keep driving. This is a small food truck located at the back of a semi truck lot. Ignore all your concerns about being in the wrong place and know that this hidden gem is worth it.

This is where you wanna go for amazing tacos and esquites! Since we left Orlando every time we come we HAVE to visit before we leave. Always cooked fresh, birria never misses, and they take care of their customers. Wish they were in a different spot though but it won’t stop my visit.

We used to enjoy this food truck even if it was an adventure into a junkyard to get to it. We ordered online, would not suggest. When we pulled in our food was sitting unattended outside the window, even in the rain. Checked the bag and the birria broth was missing. Husband waited a bit at window then called out and even went around the back. No one inside, if you need service you need to call the phone number. Minus the food being cold it was ok, but the hassle, price point, service and location are not worth the adventure anymore.
