The 16 Best Restaurants In Todos Santos, Mexico

"Don’t be surprised if you show up here for brunch and see everyone else you were drinking too many margaritas with the night before. If you’re not exactly feeling 100% in the morning, there’s plenty of shady palms at this all-outdoor restaurant, plus fresh juices, omelets, salsa-drenched chilaquiles, a chicken sandwich, and thick sweet potato fries that should help." - michaela trimble

La Esquina Review - Las Tunas - Todos Santos - The Infatuation

"The holy grail of brunch spots in Todos Santos, La Esquina is the kind of place where you’ll probably see everyone you were partying with the night before (when drinking margaritas until sunrise sounded like the perfect idea). Nurse your hangovers together at this all-outdoor spot on a corner lot filled with tables and shaded by palms. Get the fresh juices, omelets, and salsa-drenched chilaquiles for breakfast and a chicken sandwich paired with thick sweet potato fries for lunch. " - Michaela Trimble

Google
Great place to visit the restaurant is an open patio style and beautiful. The green juice was delicious and fresh, the pastry was also delicious. The red chilaquiles were ok.

Google
Suchhhh a nice place!! Really really lovely vibe. Comfy chairs, they had live music on Sunday morning which was very pleasant. I’ve had the avocado toast and the super burrito - would recommend the superrr burrito.

Google
This is an extraordinary breakfast spot. It is so beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly. And our food and drinks were the absolute highlight. We had a latte and fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as, the breakfast sandwich and the veggie omelette. I will absolutely be dreaming about my next trip back.

Google
Vegan snickers is so good! Served cold so it’s a great way to cool off. Smoothies are tasty and service is excellent! When they found out it was my partners birthday they even brought a little birthday treat out for him.

Google
So good. Very nice atmosphere. Avocado toast & smoothies are very good.

Google
Great atmosphere and service - but fairly bland and run of the mill food. The dishes are quite standardized with two slices of avocado, tasteless refried beans and whatever you order with them. The worst chilaquiles I’ve had in Mexico. Dry and lumpy with no imagination or interesting taste. Lovely ambiance and the friendly staff are great but for me personally don’t make up for the bland food, especially when there’s much better options in town food wise.

Google
Awesome drip coffee. Amazing prices. Sweet service. Fun customer base. Delicious food. Lots of seating. Kids playground. All around wonderful

Google
This place is so tranquil. Came with friends for breakfast. Was so amazing. Great food goid coffee ☕️. It's like on a park like setting. They also have a park yoga center on the other side to walk over and check it out

Yelp
This very popular restaurant on the outskirts of Todo Santos is a local institution. Their breakfast menu is extensive and quite affordable, and their brunch and other sandwiches and wraps are large enough for two meals. On the Sunday brunch, we ate there, They had an excellent guitar player strumming instrumentals. You order from a central cashier, and they give you a number to take to your table while you wait. The food ranges from many egg dishes and omelettes to veggie burritos , and other pleasing, brunch dishes. The coffee and drinks choices are really good. The Wi-Fi works great, so a lot of people during the week spend their mornings here working away on their laptops. Ample parking on the side and it happens to be right in front of a wonderful community health and wellness center called Quattro Vientos. Check them both out if you have a chance.

Yelp
What do you get when Silver Lake (think L.A. or Brooklyn gentrification) and flaxseed have a baby? Hipster brunch paradise! News flash... This is not how Mexicans eat. If you want authentic food when you're in an authentic town, don't eat here. The food is decent but nothing special. I ordered the "super" burrito and the only thing super about it was the name and price. I just don't want to travel 1000 miles to get something that mimics what I can find back home. I guess if Mexico is becoming hipster and gentrified to cater to tourist taste than it's losing its identity.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to eat in Todos Santos it's super cute It's a very tropical vibe with tons of seating and shade. The food is really good and the staff is great. There's plenty of free parking. They often have events during the evening so be sure to ask what they have going on.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has really awesome food. You walk in and order at the counter and then find yourself a seat wherever you like. It's wide open and sort of like an outdoor courtyard. The food is delicious. We had the breakfast burrito, chorizo scramble and the juevos rancheros. All were excellent! The smoothies were really good too. It's very reasonably priced and the portions are very generous. We ate here three times during our stay!

Yelp
La Esquina is the one of the best local gathering spot and I visit several times a week. Family run - they do a fantastic job on the food and atmosphere. Great variety and healthy options! Super kid and dog friendly! Don't miss a meal there if you are visiting Todos Santos.

Yelp
On the Christmas Eve morning, we dropped by our fav. Coffee shop (in Baja) at 8am, but it wasn't open. On the way back, we dropped by this cafe and decided to grab some coffee here instead. Once entering the front door, a beautiful resort like courtyard revealed. We ordered some cappuccino and the liked it. The coffee was good and the foam was very fine. We noticed there's a lot of tourists and expats here eating pancakes and muffins, so we decided to try some street food instead.

Yelp
Great vibe and excellent food. The perfect way to spend a lazy morning. Strongly recommend it.

Yelp
Open again! Wonderful place to hang out for a few hours. Plenty of seating on the spacious grounds. La Esquina means the corner, and this is one huge corner cafe. American and Mexican customers. A few dogs here and there. It was crowded when I went on a Saturday for brunch, but the food came out quickly. Let's get into the food first. Lots of options on the menu, which comes in Spanish and English versions. Mexican food, American breakfasts, juices and fresh-baked bread you can take home by the loaf. Based in my experience the ginger juice has been the best thing on the menu. Pretty good lattes. Good breakfast burrito. Average chilaquiles, I had the verdes. I'd be curious to try the caprese ranchero sandwich on the specials board. Reasonable prices. The aren't taking credit cards at the moment but will accept dollars. Ask for the free wifi voucher, good for three hours. Taking me back to the excitement of my opening comment and why this very large corner cafe deserves four stars.

Yelp
Happy until they gouged me in the exchange rate. I'm cool with $1-1.50 less than but $3 pesos difference was not cool.

Yelp
Adorable garden vibes and good food. You'll see a lot more tourists & expats at this spot. I ordered Chilaquiles Verde for breakfast which were cheap, flavorful and filling alongside a fresh juice with ginger, orange and carrot. The ambiance is the best part for sure as you're surrounded by succulents galore & interesting plants, very tranquil.

Yelp
Amazing spot! I loved everything about this place, from the ambience to the food. It was our go to spot for breakfast, brunch, and even lunch. There was something on the menu for everyone. All dishes were not only tasty but also very filling and fresh. If in Todos Santos i highly recommend visiting this spot !

Yelp
Cute little breakfast breakfast spot right down the road from our Airbnb. There was live entertainment one of the mornings we were there and the food was amazing! We will definitely come back when we visit Todos Santos again!

Yelp
You should not eat here, or you will spend your time. Bad service. The patio is great but seriously? We wait an hour to get our hot cakes.

Yelp
Visiting Todos Santos for the first time, we decided to try this place. Here, we had the best coffee ever. The food was delicious, fresh and the portion were big. My kids loved their pancakes. Prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Fantastic meeting place with great food/drinks and fair pricing. Fresh, local ingredients turned in to yummy dishes that even my picky eaters LOVE! Fast internet, lots of choices for seating, gorgeous surroundings, and I greatly appreciate the special events that are organized to bring the community together. My favorite place in TS!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this little gem when we were exploring the charming town of Todos Santos (located off the beaten path roughly an hour North of Cabo). La Esquina is appropriately perched on the corner of Calle Topete and Horizonte. La Esquina literally translates as "the corner"- Spanish to English. It's an adorable family owned breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe that offers complimentary Wifi. You could tell this is a local hot spot since it was packed with locals during our morning visit in July. It's a perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or attend one of their hosted events (we saw them advertise this but only popped by for lunch). We were welcomed to an open relaxing patio that is adorned with fresh flowers. We glanced over their menu and saw it was founded on healthy grub. Options included fresh salads, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, juices, eggs, omelets, chilaquiles and anything that showcased their organic locally sourced produce (always a plus in my book). We selected our table and placed our order at the window. We soaked in the sunshine and relaxing atmosphere while we waited for our food to be prepared. Our order included: 2 glasses of fresh juice that featured a refreshing blend of grapefruit, watermelon and apple juice. We also ordered a quesadilla w/ fresh guacamole and salsa to split. It was perfectly toasted and was heavenly dipped in their guacamole. It was so fresh and creamy. In fact, anything dipped in that guacamole would be delicious. This was the perfect stop on our trip. I would totally come back if we stayed in Todos Santos. Come here to get your healthy grub on in Todos Santos and enjoy their lovely patio.

Yelp
Same ol same ol so so food. Breakfast and lunch only. More of a yuppy cafeteria vibe. Once is enough

Yelp
We didn't eat here until the day before our last day... wish we would have sooner! Yummy bloody Mary's., yummy breakfast, had a salad which was amazing and the people so nice! The building was beautiful and the gardens surrounding lovely... wish we could eat here every day! Can't wait to return!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The BEST fresh juices, smoothies and baked goods in town! We were there for 10 days and had breakfast/lunch here 8 days of those 10!
google avatar

Yelp
My hubby & I were in Todos Santos for 5 days and ate here 4 of them (we were out of town all day the other day). It's in a mural covered stucco-walled compound with welcoming large double doors that are thrown open when they are ready for customers (open at 7am). It feels like home even the first time. You can choose tables, easy chairs, couches, or barstools. It's an open outdoor space w plenty of shade and cover. The menu is small but varied, serving breakfast, lunch, and after 5pm, bowls & burritos. It's all very reasonably priced. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh, and nicely seasoned. Not too spicy unless you request it. We don't speak much Spanish & the waitstaff smoothly changed from Spanish to English once they realized our limits. My favorites were the breakfasts with fresh coffees, juices, smoothies, eggs & pancakes. My total fave was a yummy veggie omelette and a whole BOWL of crispy bacon when I order a bacon side. That's this gal's idea of heaven. The corn tortillas were served soft & warm wrapped in parchment paper to keep warm. There's a family-oriented feel to La Esquina ("the corner" in English as it's perched on a corner) with mom's, kids, dog walkers & like us, turistas & ex-pats from AM and through the day, with more of an easy-going bar scene & sometimes live music in the evenings. Don't hesitate, when in Todos Santos, give La Esquina a try.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
Okay honestly, I had a hard time deciding whether to write a review for this place because I don't want to bring a crowd to my favorite place in Todos Santos. La Esquina has the best Papas Rancheros in town, it come with refried beans, fresh avocado, tortillas or toast and you can get it with eggs too!! They have a great assortment of juices, teas, and coffee drinks (the mocha frappe, is dangerously good). The atmosphere is amazing but the wait for your food can be extremely long during Christmas time or holidays.

Yelp
What's not to love about this place?!?! It's got great food, WiFi, location, service and ambiance. I love the chiliqulies and the smoothies. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Brenna G.

Yelp
We loved this place so much!! The staff is so sweet & friendly, food is delicious (I got the veggie sandwich w homemade hummus and my boyfriend got the chicken pesto sandwich and an orange juice- so good !!) and the space is such a vibe. Will be returning & recommending to all my friends that visit baja!!

Chris N.

Yelp
UH-MAZING‼ Feels like an oasis and the food supports that feeling. The bread is homemade and is not to miss. Highly recommended for breakfast with live guitar music playing. Fabulous--we will be regulars!

Yelp
Very nice place! The food is delicious, prices are fair & services is really good. Perfect breakfast joint to get ready for your adventures.

Yelp
La Esquina was our home away from home while in Todos Santos. We are still dreaming about the smoked marlin tacos!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a must-visit spot when in Todos Santos. We went at least 3-4 times a week for breakfast. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Here are some highlights: The oatmeal is good and a hefty portion. They make it with milk so it isn't overly sweet and has a stronger dairy flavor. Seasoned with cinnamon and apples. The fruit, yogurt, and granola bowl is awesome. The fruit is so fresh and it is so delicious. Big portion! I got the vegetarian omelet twice - the salsa on top is the best part. Everything is fresh and delicious. Comes with avocado and beans. We split the banana pancakes one morning and they are delicious! On Wednesdays there is live music and a local market within the patio area. Such a good vibe! Last thing - the cookies and the smoothies are amazing! Staff is friendly and atmosphere is amazing!

Yelp
Please invest in some bug zappers. This might make me sound spoiled, but it's disgusting and rather annoying to have to fight flys the entire time I'm in this establishment.
google avatar

Bianca P.

Yelp
I wish I could tell you what I thought about the food - we ordered (tried to order espresso drinks but they didn't have that available today?), paid, sat down, and waited...and waited...and waited. Still waiting over an hour and a half later. If I had known the wait would be so long we would've gone somewhere else. Give your customers a heads up and let them know approximately how long the wait will be. Or hire more staff in the kitchen? Don't come here unless you want to spend half the day waiting. Really disappointed with our experience at La Esquina.

Yelp
Best spot for breakfast in Todos Santos. Fresh juices, amazing food and friendly people.

Yelp
Mediocre food at U.S. prices. The outdoor patio style atmosphere is great. My wife and I started our brunch with the green juice and the ginger juice. Nothing special, no attempt to balance the flavors and the sweetness (or the complete lack thereof) of the different juices in the blends. The smoked marlin quesadilla was good with lots of cheese however the salsa and the frijoles were bland. My wife got the Mexican huevos dish and I can tell you that the eggs in a Mcdonald's breakfast burrito had more flavor. Same bland salsa and frijoles but came with a side of baguette and butter which was not bad. We also ordered a fruit salad which was mostly apples and bananas. I can get apple and bananas at home year round. There was a little watermelon and papaya hidden in there which was good. Service was good. Prices are more reasonable than the completely unreasonable prices we have encountered in southern Baja but definitely not in line with the quality of the food. We won't be back for a meal here.

Maki Y.

Yelp
the staff is very friendly, the ambiance is great, the coffee is good and but the food is not memorable. went there for coffe and a muffin and the next day for breakfast food wise it was ok. My boyfriend ordered the huevos rancheros and I ordered the smoked marlin burrito.

Yelp
On our trip to Todos, we stopped here just about every day for over a week- and really appreciated the free wi-fi, great coffee and breakfast. Each day everyone who served us spoke both Mexican or English, whatever you understood best, and we thought they were all really nice folks! If you're surfing and don't want to over eat before a session, you can save some money by getting a quick coffee and a small burrito with just egg and a tiny amount of chiles- it will hold you till lunch and will only cost you a few dollars total. And be respectful to "El Jefe" who is usually outside trying to clean dust off car windows for a few pesos- On the first day I visited, I blew him off because you see plenty of roaming drunk dudes you need to avoid where I'm from in the city- but it's not the case here, as this old man with some sort of mental disability is allowed to hang here and is treated as family and it's just a beautiful thing. Thanks for opening my mind La Esquina I'll be back- Muchos Gracias

Yelp
Awesome coffee. Awesome ladies. Awesome brownies, cookies and fellow diners. Internet, parking are all easy. I should have bought some hibiscus heaven tea, I love it. Highly recommend

Laurie A.

Yelp
A gorgeous courtyard. We went twice for happy hour - from 5 to 6 pm weeknights. The mango margarita is amazing! Large drink menu and it's fun to sit at the bar, or in the courtyard. The sweet potato fries, and regular fries were delicious - exceptional, really. Service was very friendly. Cash only, most busy at breakfast. Come later in the day and relax!

Heathman M.

Yelp
Love this spot for good food and a nice place to relax in the shaded gardens. Solid wifi and open long hours makes it a goid place to journal, eat, sip a margarita, etc.
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
Great place, good food, be patient with the slow service. We stayed nearby so it was our "go to" spot for breakfast & many lunches, this was pretty consistent. Very friendly, nice "farmers" market on Wednesday that also has local made goods.
google avatar

Katrina K.

Yelp
This place clearly caters to tourists, but in a way that works. We loved sitting on the patio, listening to the music and enjoying our smoothies to the sites of kids playing in the trees growing everywhere. There was more food than I could eat, at a price I couldn't blink at. Everything was fresh and amazing. I even enjoyed the wait, it forced us to sit back, relax, sketch a bit and chat while we waited.
google avatar

Jason Y.

Yelp
Banana/blueberry pancakes! Awesome coffee. Chorizo scrambled eggs. These all rocked, beautiful outdoor scene. Playpen for the kids. Go here.
google avatar

Tiffani R.

Yelp
My favorite spot to eat breakfast in Todos Santos without a doubt. Its a beautiful outdoor cafe with a great variety of breakfast foods, coffees, and juices. Normally at restaurants I find the one thing I want and get it all the time - it's too hard to do here because I love it all. My favorite are the huevos rancheros and the gluten free pancakes but you can't go wrong here. The staff is very nice, the ambiance is fantastic, and the location perfect. If you're here - check out Cuatro Vientos yoga studio on the same block as well!
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
Food and ambiance is really nice here. But, it took over an hour for our food. They have a nice playground in the back for children.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Good food. Nice setting. Just don't come here if you're on any time frame whatsoever. 30 min to get a bagel with cream cheese, to go.....

David V.

Yelp
This place was just what my family and I were searching for on our way up to La Paz. Stopped by for a quick breakfast and as soon as we entered we knew we made a good choice. Everything was open air seating but decor was nice and added to the ambiance. Ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese Omelet and I was expecting them to go light on the bacon. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it had whole bacon strips, about 4 if I remember correctly. Oh and a side of refried beans, avocado slices, and toast all for around $6 USD. My family ordered chilaquiles and a veggie omelet, both dishes delicious as well. Prices cheap, food quality excellent. Would go back for sure. Heads up: cash only.
google avatar

Ruby D.

Yelp
Love this place! Amazing good ( healthy and delicious), great atmosphere, fresh squeezed lime margaritas sweetened with agave and a kids play area and sandbox out back in a beautiful garden. Perfect place for parents and anyone else!!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Healthy food for breakfast and lunch! Gorgeous design and love the vibe! You can tell this is a community spot attracting all walks of life.

christina a.

Yelp
This place has a lot going for it, but block out about 3 hours if you are going to eat here--even for a small order. Service is incredibly slow... we kept wondering if our ticket blew away. The second time we went it was the same story. Expect 1-1 1/2 hour wait for your food. That's fine--just wish we were told it would be so long so we could plan our day.
google avatar

Terry G.

Yelp
Good coffee. Play yard for kids. Great big courtyard. Food is organic and tastes great. Drinks are v good. Not that expensive.
