Found this place of a heaven through Yelp. As soon as we entered the owner greeted us as sat us down. We received and ordered the recommendations. Couldn’t have felt more at home. Red sangria, lamb meatballs, garlic shrimp oh my. I can’t give this place enough stars. I’ll be back every single time I visit NYC.

Absolutely amazing! The food was soo delicious. I think what was even more important is the lovely atmosphere that is created by the surrounding, the owner and every one else involved. We had a wonderful evening of great wine, tapas and seafood paella. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! We had the pan con tomate, shrimp, octopus, ham croquettes, paella, and sangria rojo. Everything was great, especially recommend the octopus and shrimp. They even had live music on the Thursday night we visited which was a pleasant surprise!

Dining at La Faena Social was an exceptional experience. The dedication and passion of the staff were palpable, contributing to extraordinary service. The atmosphere and ambiance transported me to a quaint coastal town in Spain, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food was outstanding, with each dish reflecting meticulous preparation and authentic flavors. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and look forward to returning to savor their seafood paella.

Great place to watch soccer! Fantastic food and service. Basic dishes like olives are unusually good, as is the table bread. Great happy hour deal also.

Absolutely incredible experience at La Faena Social! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The tapas were out of this world—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Standouts included the paella with chicken and chorizo chorizo (so flavorful) and the gambas al ajillo (garlicky, buttery perfection). We also had the croquetas de jamon that were equally as flavorful! The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food and drinks they were serving. The ambiance is cozy yet lively, making it the perfect spot for a date night or a fun evening with friends. I can’t wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend. 5/5 stars without a doubt!

Yelp
My time here proved worth every penny I spent. Their dishes deliver every time. La Faena Social - Temp. CLOSED sits in a great location, though its team's friendliness exceeds expectations. Workers showed exceptional service skills! I plan to go back to give a higher rating.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this tapas restaurant. The octopus, tuna and tomato and croquets were amazing and enjoyed the red sangria. Seems like it's fairly new but getting pretty popular, will definitely come back to try the paella.

Yelp
Service was excellent and staff were kind and prompt. Unfortunately the food left much to be desired- saying it's mediocre is a kindness. Drinks were fine, bathroom is clean. Recommend for drinks but that you stay away from the food menu!

Yelp
I acknowledge the appeal of this restaurant. Every bite offered delightful flavors. This restaurant stays clean and the people who run it are pleasant, focused and honest. Staff members made me their priority and responded to everything I asked with courtesy. The attraction of this spot is self-evident.

Yelp
Wonderful tapas restaurant in the theatre district. Is open later than other places for after a Broadway show. Strongly recommend the charcuterie board, the octopus/potato and also the shrimp in garlic. Our server Rich was so upbeat and fun also great with suggestions. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
La Faena is run by friendly people from the neighborhood that make food that will make you come back over and over again. The shrimp in garlic was a pure delight while the meat paella simply blew my mind! Portions are generous and prices are good.

Yelp
Small back room of La Pulperia 44 HK with a few bar seats & a window/hightop bar. Took a chance before a show based on a handful of early reviews, and they did not lead us wrong. Quiet with available reservations. Waiter was attentive and everything was good. We had several dishes, but I could not get enough of the tomate under the atun dish - I presume it's the same thing they use for the pan con tomate appetizer, and I wiped that entire plate dry with extra bread. YUM.

Yelp
Small intimate place was surprised at the quantity of food, their small plates are large plates and very shareable. Servers were very attentive. Prices are great value for what you get. Will be going back next time in NYC. Reservations recommended due to small seating area.

Yelp
Thank Rich, your restaurant brings the vibrant culinary essence of Spain to this little corner in the heart of NYC.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time. Rich and his staff was extremely accommodating to our group. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food and beverages were outstanding. Do keep in mind though when trying to find the place their sign is not on the door, it's a Mexican restaurant that they share space with. It's almost like finding a delicious surprise in the middle of a candy. The shrimp, the egg dishes, the paella, the croquettes and the sangria all incredible. The bread was outta this world and paired well with the shrimp as it was cooked in oil and garlic and we used it on the bread. Prices were very reasonable. Will be back!
