I really hate to give a negative review to this place because I've been a longtime satisfied customer. However, when I ordered 420 macaroons for my wedding from La Farine, they dropped the ball pretty badly.
When I ordered the macaroons, I put my wedding coordinator's phone number on the order form in addition to my own. The day of the wedding arrives, and as I am trying to get ready and keep everything running smoothly, the delivery person calls me several times to inform me that he can't get in the building. I told him to call my wedding coordinator whose number is on the order form. He said he didn't have the number, so I gave it to him over the phone.
As desserts are being set out after dinner, my wedding coordinator informed me that 70 macaroons were missing. I had ordered 6 different flavors and we only had 5. This meant that some of my guests were unable to enjoy dessert.
When I contacted La Farine about this, they indicated that they had delivered all of the macaroons and I should check the security footage. When I checked with my venue, we confirmed that the whole order had not been delivered.
When I got back in touch with La Farine about this, they didn't respond. I'm giving them a few more days before I dispute the charges on my card.
I used to be a regular customer here, but after this and some pretty unsatisfying experiences in the store, I won't be returning.
