I’ve been going to La Felicità almost every day for over three years because I work right next door. First, let me say this: the people who personally take care of the coffee are absolute gems. They’re genuinely adorable, always kind, and honestly, they deserve a higher salary. They really brighten the place.
Most of the staff at La Felicità are nice, and the overall vibe is big, lively, and somewhat family-like. The space itself is beautiful, no doubt about that.
Now… the service. That’s where things fall apart. At the prices they charge—€20 for a plate of pasta—you would expect at least a bit of service. Instead, you’re expected to serve yourself, clear your own table, wait in line, and then deal with a bizarre code system. You wait once, get a code, then wait again, queue again, give the code, then wait again. And when your food is finally ready, they shout at you—whether it’s at the burger stand, the pasta station, or anywhere else. Honestly, you feel more like cattle than a customer. At these prices, I’d expect to be served at the table, with a smile… maybe even a massage while we’re at it.
And don’t get me started on the dessert wagon in the middle: the one with ice cream and cakes. It’s open for maybe an hour a day, at random times, and it shuts down at 3 p.m. sharp. You’d think management would want people to actually enjoy desserts, but apparently not.
So yes: great coffee staff, a nice general atmosphere, but the overall service and management desperately need a rethink.
