"The second offshoot of Le Clair de la Plume, the nearby parent establishment, occupies a stunning 18C edifice set in flower-decked gardens. Fresh, seasonal produce are the stars of the bistro menu: crunchy white asparagus with a hollandaise sauce, slow-roasted shoulder of lamb and gratin dauphinois and, to finish, home-made pastries. The huge, covered terrace commands a matchless view of Grignan Castle." - Michelin Inspector

The team is amazing. They are super friendly. The rooms are decent and are of the upper standard. For 225€ we found this to be alright. The garden is beautiful and the pool is cooling. Onsite parking is free and there are several electric vehicle chargers on site with a decent ad-hoc payment system for 0.39 cents per kWh. We were welcomed with our dog as there was a dog bowl and bed when we arrived in our room. Very nice! I do not recommend the massage option. It's off-site in the village next door.

The grounds are lovely. Our room had some fine features, but a few annoying ones, like the 16 or 18 step access. While the room had many good points, such as walk in shower, good bathroom lighting and a firm bed, they were squeezed into rather tight space. The bed was wedged into a secion that only allowed getting up on either side sideways. There were very few hangars,, corrected by the staff with some rather cheap plastic ones. The sink drain needed a shot of Draino (which we didnt mention, but housekeeping should correct. A rather cheap bathroom waste basket should be replaced, it keeps falling over.||Very nice and helpful people on the front desk. Two made a number of calls for us to secure a hairdresser appointment for my wife on short notice.||The breakfast was a little weak for a 4 star hotel. Most of the pastries were not up to par. Other than the restaurants, we didn't use other hotel facilities. The price was a little high for what we experienced. NIce town, nice people.

Beautiful setting and charming experience! Multiple garden and patio dining options, beautiful lawn under the shadow of a castle. Super convenient to town but quiet and private. Rooms were neat and clean and bed comfy. Excellent air conditioning! Breakfast delightful. Staff very friendly. The pool was a dream oasis. Good for kids. Excellent choice!

The meal at La Ferme Chapouton was one of our best in France! We shared the rack of lamb specialty, carved at the table in style , delicious gravy and dauphinois potato each . Pared with some delightful local reds all the while with the Grignan castle in full view. We loved it all Kevin and Hayley - Perth West Australia

Beautiful hotel with outdoor seating. View of castle. Lots of parking. And GREAT classic French cuisine served by a friendly and efficient staff. My veal with black truffle sauce was one of the best dishes I have ever encountered. Make sure you save room for their in-house patisserie creations. Works of art in appearance, but awesome in taste. Took a picture of their vegetable garden beside the hotel. Explains why all the veggies tasted so fresh.

A beautifully decorated and relaxed hotel with a fabulous bistro. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a stunning view of the town and chateau. The service was amazing and I felt utterly pampered. Breakfast was an utter delight. We enjoyed time at the pool and it was never crowded. Most of the time we had it almost to ourselves and my before breakfast swim was always solitary. The gardens are beautiful. Grignan is a short stroll away and there are lovely bars, shops and eateries, as well as the stunning chateau. I would highly recommend for a relaxing break.

Stayed for 2 nights there. The rooms were lovely. The breakfast is good quality and the sitting erea very neat. Dining was an overall good experience. Only con was the slow service at the Swimmingpool but the waiter were nice and busy with an ongoing wedding.
