"Recently taken over by Florian and Lauriane Langellier, a young couple with a jaw-dropping CV (Megève’s Four Seasons under Gatillon, Megève’s Flocons de Sel with Emmanuel Renaut, L'Armancette and finally Père Bise with Jean Sulpice where he worked as a pastry chef and she was in the front-of-house), this hotel complex in the upper reaches of the resort has changed hands smoothly as the former owner-chef, Romain Desgranges, continues to helm the kitchen. La Fermi de Cupelin is a lovely place to stay. We really appreciate its extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Its breakfast is delicious and homey, and its dinner set menu very nice and innovative (the only mild complaint is that the dishes could be served slightly faster, and one dessert is enough - the second desert should be optional or replaceable with cheese plate so that people who are not into sweets or cannot take that much sugar can have a bit option). My wife also booked the massage in the hotel's cabinet - according to her it's superb. Strongly recommend.

Visited for dinner and the staff were wonderful. A warm, cosy welcome awaited us on arrival. They provided just the right amount of attention. The food was wonderful. We unknowingly ordered a new dish and the chef came to our table and asked us for our thoughts. Plenty of choice on the menu without being too much. Most of the ingredients are sourced locally thus supporting local farmers and the wine we chose was from the region and my husbands beer was from a local microbrewery. Would highly recommend a visit.

The most magical stay in France! We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment: the scenery, the food, and the hospitality. The location is quiet and very convenient if you are skiing. The ski shuttle pick up is 4 minutes walk, and the main town restaurants are 20 minutes walk. I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone that comes to the area! My favorite part is waking up early to see the breathtaking views from our room balcony. Definitely pick the larger room Le Grand Refuge if you are multiple people. The bed is very comfortable, and everything is clean and cozy. Also, don’t miss the buffet breakfast!

Creative and savory dinner with locally sourced products in a relaxed atmosphere. We had trout from Leman lake, deer (cerf) in two manners, bake potatoes stuffed with caramelized oignons and comté sauce, and 2 light deserts. We chose a Hautes-Cotes de Beaune pinot noir, all at a very reasonable price. A great experience for a stormy Saturday evening.

This place is amazing and we had an incredible stay there. We stayed for 1 night and we had also the dinner and breakfast. Every single detail was perfect, our room was pretty and very comfortable. The staff was extremely professional and dedicated! And the food was full of delicacy and unique flavors. We recommend this place for the persons who know the real value of food discovery and luxury parenthesis!

A very nice hotel situated above St Gervais. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very nice, attentive and service minded. Although the location is beautiful it has its drawbacks, unless you have your own car it’s difficult to get home from the city center in the evening, the free shuttles last trip is at 19.50 after that you probably have to walk as there aren’t any taxis easy available. Some kind of shuttle/transport would be welcome. We lived in a little cottage with partially open bathroom ( shower and sinks) I don’t find that a good solution, it makes the room damp. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff had good knowledge about the food. I wished they had a little a la carte menu as well, in that case we wouldn’t have to go to the city center in the evenings. But all in all I can heartily recommend La Ferme de Cupelin, both the hotel and the restaurant.

Almost all was great except for one frustration - I asked for an extra piece of bread and was rejected... Very strange to be rejected in one piece of bread when my check for dinner was 300 Euro

My wife and I were lucky enough to have dinner at Ferme Cupelin While we were visiting Saint Gervais for a family vacation. We had an absolute fantastic meal outside on the patio overlooking an immaculate view. The servers were very kind to speak in English because our French was so limited, and they did an excellent job of explaining what each one of the dishes was. The fact that there were three dessert courses along with a moose bush, and a pallet cleanser at the beginning, simply added to the great value of the overall meal.

This small hotel nestled in the French Alps is truly a hidden gem. The young couple running the establishment has truly crafted a beautiful indoor ambiance and are eager to assist in any way that they can. The restaurant serves food that is unlike any other. There really is no better restaurant in the area. While the hotel may be a 5 minute drive from downtown Saint-Gervais, it is so worth it.
