"Sarah Bohet and Michaël Vancraeynest are at the helm of this authentic farmhouse in the Ardennes. The chef consummately grills entrecôte steaks on an open log fire, which are then served with a velvety béarnaise sauce. He may also mix scallops with smoked game, flanked by an onion sauce, a compote of plums and a frothy espuma of pumpkin. This exuberant culinary lineup is further enhanced by the wine list painstakingly selected by Sarah. A hit since 2003!" - Michelin Inspector

I was here in December last year and this is the best cheese shop, in my opinion, in all of Paris. We were served by a very friendly french lady which spoke perfect English and let us try all types of cheese. We ended up buying over 200 euros worth of cheese back home. Wonderful.

One of the best selection of cheese I've seen during my stay in Paris. Friendly staff who can recommend you cheese based on you taste and preference. It's possible to make a vacuum packaging

Along food street there are many speciality food (and cheese) shops, we especially like this one, because the do a simple cheese tray for 9.90 euro, the variety has never disappointed us, we have been introduced to cheeses we would never normally purchase, La Fermette has broaden my taste buds.

Prepackaged 5 cheeses for 9,90 Euros!! Plus lots of sausages and other cheeses to choose from and a boulangerie a few doors down and a fruit place across the street. This store is great for starting a charcuterie board!!

Beautiful shop and very helpful people, who clearly love their job and work as a family. It’s a cheese heaven! They helped me choose different cheeses and vacuumed them perfectly, ready for a flight. Thank you very much! 💜

This is a great shop to visit. The staff are kind and helpful, and happy to provide advice on favourites. They’ll vacuum pack cheeses for travel - and even give you tattoo advice! I’ll be back.

The service was great the seller was nice, you can taste some of the cheese there (not the soft ones) we have took 3 cheeses with us - 2 were really good and third probably not our match. I recommend take the bathmale de chevre and the tomme du larzak -both really good. The Crottin de chavignol is not sweet and gentle as the seller said but rather with very strong goat flavor. Take that into account. The other 2 recommendation he maid was great

Yelp
Lots of stinky goodness in here! I bought 18 month Comté and Brie de Meaux - quite tangy with the rind. nom nom nom... One could get lost for a few days on rue Montorgueil :-)

Yelp
The friendly and helpful spirit of this fromagerie has pulled people from all over town to buy cheese. Tourist and locals alike feel comfortable and welcomed even when cheese ignorant. I walked up with two baguettes under my arm looking for some cheese at rue Montorgueil and was able to strike a conversation in English (and sloppy French), get some advice on cheese and pick up some Brie and and Camembert for around 5€ total. You can price the Brie by kilogram and the Camembert comes as a wheel or a piece. I would highly recommend stopping by the exciting rue Montorgueil to pick up some cheese, baguette, meat or whatever else you happen to find along the way. Just be sure you know that not all cheese types are the same!

Yelp
Great Cheese Selection!! I ordered two nice cheeses for a picnic under Sacre Coeur. Got a baguette from down the street and then stopped in the finishing touch. I actually don't know what I got, the staff helped me pic a nice soft cheese. It was creamy and delicious and excellent with my bread. I also got a small slice of Mild Blue Cheese that was salty, flavorful and delicious. Also went well with a nice fresh baguette.

Yelp
Great shop. Great part of town. Delicious!!!!! After checking out Notre Dame and the Saint Chapelle, take the 4 north just a few stops and go to this cheese shop (henry w's review has good directions)! After the standrd tourist attractions, you'll have a blast sniffing your way through the cultured treasures. There are so many fresh food stands around that area, if the weather is nice, you can create the perfect picnic all while enjoying a really interesting part of town. We also stopped by a few cafe's en route and everyone was really nice. If you are worried about the "rude frenchman", try this skeleton-key phrase that will let them know you are no "ugly american tourist." You smile and say, "je parle un pue francais parce que je suis stupide american touriste", which translates to "I only speak a little french because i am a stupid american tourist." It's tried and true people! Be a little self-deprecating, leave your khakis, white tennis shoes and fanny pack in the hotel, and Paris will embrace you.

Yelp
One of the best cheese shops in Paris, its located on of my favorite streets in Paris - rue Montorgueil. The guys operating the shop are really funny and love to joke around with you while you buy some cheese here. I highly recommend the 18 month old Mimolette, 12 month old Comte, Rocamadour, St. Felicien, and anything else they recommend. I pretty much stopped here every day while I stayed in Paris.. you will too after you come here.
