La Ferneteria - Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"La Ferneteria is an Italian restaurant from Buenos Aires that’s opened in Wynwood. The massive rooftop has a $195 seafood tower, steak au poivre, a ten-layer lasagna, and pastas like boniato gnocchi, seafood tagliolini, and mushroom risotto. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

La Ferneteria Miami located in the heart of the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami, Florida provided a lively atmosphere for a special occasion celebration! The party was greeted my our server Raul who provided excellent recommendations and customer service! To start off, we all ordered a variety of cocktail such as the Top Fig Tree (similar to a Moscow mule) & Capri Island (contained Spicy Agave)! Then we paired our cocktails with a dozen of fresh oysters, Siberian caviar, & Polipo Brasato di Capri which was a grilled octopus with potatoes and aioli! For entrees, our party ordered Garganelli alla Vodka, Pappardelle al Funghi, Fettuccine al Tartufo Nero, Ten Layers Lasagna, & Ternerita Braseada with a side of Caesar salad. Wow, all the entrees were super delicious! With the ten layer lasagna & the Pappardelle al Funghi being a party favorite! Lastly, for dessert we decided to try the Tiramisu La Ferne where the espresso coffee used was very powerful! Overall, @laferneteriabar (IG) was a great establishment on the 9th floor rooftop where you can feel the Miami breeze and enjoy a night out with family or friends. Thank you to Raul for being an excellent server and being so attentive to our party! Side note - when offered water, we were told “regular or water with gas.” We chose regular thinking “still tap water,” but it was instead bottled still water for $10 each / bottle. Next time, I think guests would appreciate the clarification if no tap water is available, since when you have a big party $10/bottle of water can add up. Not that one minds paying for it, but having the options clearly stated would have all guests on the same page. P.S. Street parking difficult in the area, hence it is a little difficult to access the restaurant. There is Valet parking near the establishment for $20, but you still have to walk a little to the restaurant’s entrance.

It’s very rare you find a place in Miami nowadays with exceptional food, ambiance AND service. Cute and chic rooftop lounge, I highly recommend. Turns into a dance floor after 11:30pm so keep in mind dinner service stops before that. Nico, Juan and Matteo were amazing, definitely worth coming to visit and will be back!! My order recs are the carpaccio, arancini, tartare di salmone, ternerita braseada and garganelli al ragu. Everything was super fresh 10/10

We had such a great experience at this rooftop in Miami! 🌇✨ We came for Miami Spice and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, the views, and the overall vibe. Our server Raul was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and really made the evening even better. We also loved that the restaurant accepts Inkind, which made paying super easy and convenient. The food, the service, and the ambiance all came together for a memorable night. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Miami! 🙌

A new personal favorite. Awesome rooftop setting in wynwood. Incredible Italian food. Loved the 10 layers lasagna, beef carpaccio and of course the local Florida oysters. Superb service from the waiters to match. DJ was playing nice vibes too.

La Ferneteria is a hidden gem in Miami with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch service. The bartenders, especially Belen and Mariah, are fantastic attentive, friendly, and they really elevate the experience. You can walk in without a reservation, but I definitely recommend booking ahead, especially on busy nights. The DJ music adds an energetic vibe that pairs perfectly with the stylish decor and great drinks. One absolute must-try appetizer is the arancini risotto stuffed bites, crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside. They're a standout on the menu and perfect to share.

Came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday and overall had a nice time! The restaurant is very Miami—super pretty, trendy vibes, and definitely a good-looking spot if you’re into aesthetics. It’s an Argentinian-Italian fusion. Service was good—nothing to rave about, but no complaints either. I’ve had standout service elsewhere that left a lasting impression, and this wasn’t that, but everything ran smoothly and the staff was friendly enough. The food itself was good and came out fairly quickly—maybe even too quickly. My friends and I were having a great time so time flew by, but I personally would’ve liked the dishes to be spaced out a bit more to enjoy each one at a better pace. I had the pasta, which was solid, though I did feel the prices were on the high side. Then again, it’s Miami, and that’s kind of the norm these days. The biggest downside for me was the music. It was super loud no matter where you sat, and once it hit 10 PM, it somehow got even louder. Definitely felt more like a lounge or party spot than a restaurant by that point. In hindsight, we probably should’ve looked into that a little more before choosing it for dinner. That said, I still had a good time. While I personally don’t see myself coming back, I’d still recommend it—especially if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere and don’t mind the noise.

Juan and Matteo treated us very well during our anniversary dinner; they were patient and attentive, allowing us time and space to relax while we enjoyed our meal. The environment they created on this rooftop is such a unique, classy and relaxing combination that Miami s Wynwood neighborhood has been missing. If youre lucky enough to get a breezy sunset evening i dont thing there is a better place to enjoy a meal. You are 9 floors up so you're in the mix of Wynwood but it feels like you found an oasis in the sky because they have lined the entire perimeter of the dining room with large tropical plants. The braised short rib and Arancini were my favorites.

The cocktails were so good! Had already had dinner, so just tried the oysters & calamari— must get the oysters! Delish! Paula was super attentive and so kind. Jeffry/Nicolas- also so attentive.
