Beautifully renovated palazzo in a great location in the very walkable and historic old town of Lecce. Many great restaurants within an easy 3-10 minute walk from this lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the outside terrace where breakfast was served during warmer weather. With cooler temperatures, breakfast is served in one of the stunning drawing rooms. Modern features: updated bathrooms, WiFi,and it was easy to charge electronics. Beautiful rooftop bar with stunning views. Above all, the service was exceptional. The entire staff was very warm, highly professional, knowledgeable, kind, and most accommodating. They all went above and beyond! Special acknowledgment is given to both Benedetta and Anna who treated us like beloved famiky members. They made a special effort to get to know us, and made great restaurant and shopping recommendations. I would highly recommend staying at this palazzo to my family and friends visiting Puglia.

La Fiormentina is exceptional. We had such an amazing stay and can’t wait to visit again! The architecture and design is absolutely stunning, the property offers a luxurious yet warm and homey vibe. The area is safe and a short walk to the heart of old town. The people, amazing! Thank you to the friendly, welcoming, and super helpful team that went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. We can’t thank you enough for making our Lecce experience an incredible vacation that we will never forget.

Wonderful stay in beautiful hotel! Loved all the art/sculptures and very large room overlooking the gardens. Only complaint we had was that the wifi did not work well in our room. There was a nice library right outside our room where it did work so that just became an extension of our room.

I have never been more disappointed in a luxury hotel. $1500 per night. We love design hotels, but this is all design no hotel. ||Housekeeping didn’t come for 2 days of our 3 night stay. When they did come they didn’t change the sheets or at least the pillow cases. They will only give you one room key. The room is very dysfunctional. No hooks for robes or towels so everything is constantly damp. We were in the pool suite….but it’s barely a pool and tepid in temperature. The breakfast is mediocre. They bring you one croissant to share. Eventually I figured out there was a small buffet of carbs in the back, but no one told me. And I asked for management to talk to me at checkout and no manager met me so don’t do the TripAdvisor response of “I wish you’d told us you were underwhelmed”

La Fiermontina is heads and shoulders above all other high-end hotels for the exceptional staff…every single one of the staff is so attentive, yet professional as if they were the sons/daughters of the owner. The staying experience truly reflects the fact the hotel was created out of passion for hospitality rather than as a business.

What a gorgeous hotel! The property and rooms are stunning, and the swimming pool area was a peaceful oasis. The entire property is very serene and gorgeously landcaped with beautiful sculptures . Can we talk about their breakfast? Truly one of the best ever with made to date order breakfast eggs and fresh orange juice with a bountiful buffet that included fresh fruits and berries (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry). The service was flawless and the rooms were made while we were at breakfast. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel located in the Old Town. Rooms were nicely appointed, large and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the location convenient to seeing the sights. The staff were also very friendly! Highly recommend.

In a city where you can stay at another property for a fraction of the price and it would be better, or equivalent value, I would stay somewhere else.||||Property is pretty - garden, art, and furniture.||||Quality||- The actual rooms, bed/bedding, towels, etc. for the price is not worth it. Bedding was super cheap. Showers didn’t drain well. Blinds didn’t fully close. Not 5-star hotel quality at all.||- We paid $500+ a night (for the worst room on the property - blinds didn’t close, close to entrance / main building where many enter).||||Poor service:||- We asked for water to make tea and they told us to get it from the bathroom sink in our room lol.||- The restaurant experience was terrible - if you’re going to try and serve a unique dining experience you need servers who can “sell” the menu and the experience. They were nice but just really green. Didn’t explain anything on the menu (i.e this pasta is served cold, vs most pasta dishes that are served warm for a main dinner dish). Continually tried to push 50euro per glass of wine (even after saying we didn’t want wine).||- Servers in the morning were lovely and the breakfast was a really nice buffet, probably the only thing worth your money, but if you’re like us, we don’t eat breakfast. We felt we had to try though just to justify our payment for the hotel.||- The worst part is that we found and killed multiple spiders in our room. My boyfriend was mauled by spiders in our room at night. He woke up with at least 6 spider bites. We asked for something from first-aid. They gave him a spray to use and then told him they needed it back for emergencies! This was an emergency. They should have went to the pharmacy for him. We thought maybe just we were unlucky, but friends of ours stayed in an even more expensive suite and found ants all collected under a towel in the corner of their bathroom.||||Staff was nice but just didn’t know how to deliver a truly 5-star hotel experience, and we’ve had experience at other 5-star hotels. Save your money and stay somewhere
