We loved our stay at the Palazzo. While it's not the main property, I think we actually preferred the intimacy and boutique feel to this hotel over the main location (which we visited). We have a 5 month old baby and the staff was super attentive and helpful. She was the princess of the building during her stay here.
The owners have great taste in interior design and art. A beautiful combination of history blended with modernity that both the Italians and Japanese seem to have mastered. And, if you're a Beatles/Lennon fan, you will find a lot of memorabilia due to a friendship between one of the owners and Yoko Ono.
We stayed in room 10 which was great to have a bit more space with a baby and having to work a few hours here and there. And, of course, the location is great if you want access to the many historical buildings in the centro storico.
While most of the patrons were probably retirees, I recommend this place to anyone traveling with a family and can splurge a bit.
