Really love this place. Definitely one of the best and cheesy pupusas I’ve had in LA. Wait time can be a little long as they make all of it fresh, but i definitely enjoyed it

First time here and it was good! Great prices! The pupusas are pretty big which I like! The caldo de gallina India was so yummy and the rice it’s really yummy as well. Honestly I’ll definitely will be back!

My mom & I had a great late lunch. I had cheese popusa & she had a mixed one. They were fresh & hot! Great service too.

Great Salvadorian taste at a affordable price. Pupusas revueltas, platanos fritos (fried plantains) and sopa de gallina (Salvadorian chicken soup) are some of the food offer at this restaurant I will definitely recommend it if you are in the mood for some good Salvi comfort food.

Well I ordered through DoorDash 2 caldos de gallina and they were pure salt also the rice was salty, as you can see I don’t even know why the caldo looks like that, the vegetables were kinda squished, It was my first time ordering here and also it was a gift for my parents 🫠🫠🫠 They ended up throwing it away I spoke with Alex the owner to give some comments about the food I was like can I get a refund or how can I get a credit, I spent over 55$ on the food and he told me that he will give me a refund of 20$ only I was like ok, I wasn’t gonna fight for my money back I ended up contacting door dash customer service and tell them about my experience with this restaurant, and yeah they helped me 😊 Would I order food from this restaurant again?? Definitely NO!!! I WAS JUST GIVING MY OPINION ALEX BECAUSE MY OPINION MATTER SORRY ABOUT THAT, and also if want to make a big deal because your food was over salty GO AHEAD! TERRIFIC PUPUSAS! we ordered the mixta, the chicken and cheese, and the vegetarian papusas. All of them tasted very fresh: just the right amount of cheese, tender + juicy meat… everything you could ask for! Our favorite: chicken and cheese pupusa What we didn’t like: the tamal with elote frito. Turns out the elote was fried (which wasn’t specified on the menu). It was dry and oily. Pass.

My family and I came from the Central Valley ( 4 drive) just because I saw a video of the owner on tiktok plus I was reading the good reviews but I regret it. I’m at home sick with because of this!! ( maybe for the things that I saw as well) Supposedly the WiFi was not working that day and all the payments were cash so the manager was handling it and handling the food without washing the hands, yes he was touching the food directly. Plus I see him licking his hand while his prepared the food again without washing the hands. Come on during Covid time and you doing this?? I’ve tried to contact the owner about this before I post my review but he doesn’t care at all. I know a lot of people going to say stay home then!! But that’s why we chose a restaurant and no street food. But if the manager does this things when the customers are watching, imagine what he will do when nobody is watching him? The kitchen and waitstaff provide excellent service; if you appreciate pupusas, this establishment is the ideal location to acquire them, given their generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The soups are also exceptional.

My friends and I were in search of something new to eat around USC campus and we decided to try La Flor Blanca. Now, we try to go once a week. The restaurant is filled with wonderful staff and delightful, authentic Salvadoran food for money-conscious students.

Friendly service and delish fried plantain I like that the servers were friendly and knew their menu. If you are near the area def check out the spot as I liked their pupusa and fried plantains. The fruit drink was quite refreshing as well!

Neighborhood gem, I have been coming to this Salvadoran restaurant for over 20 years. The food is authentic as can be I usually order the Desayuno Tipico and the pupusas which are all gooey cheesy with some crisp of burnt cheese. I love it! Parking is easy because they are located in a shopping center with plenty of it. Gracias poor seguir igual Que Siempre, Hasta pronto.

Great attentive service, very clean, food was absolutely delicious would eat their breakfast for every meal if I could, not the biggest coffee fan but theirs is so good

Today I visited the restaurant with my son and a friend. Eduardo was super friendly, smiling and fast even though there were many more tables. He always came to see if we needed anything. Restrooms were clean the whole ambience was great !! The food came hot and together! We ate a pupusa with birria(Quesabirria) it had a lot of cheese and tasted really good like super yummy!!! We also ordered the fried mojarra, which was very fresh. The whole meal was super delicious! The truth is that I have to go back to try more dishes.

Delicious authentic Salvadorian food. A nice and casual place with reasonable prices. They finally have an ATM which is super convenient and efficient to offer to their customers and non customers. It is nice that I don't have to stop or run to bank for cash.

Ambiance is nice with many pictures around playing music that wasn't over powering. The service was good. We were greeted upon arrival. The waitress came right away. I noticed her doing the same with everyone else. The food was a blast of flavor. Our pupusas came first then our food and finally our plata is that were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious con un poquito de azucar yum. I ordered shrimp and people please be aware that it is cooked with the SHELL BUT YOU CAN ASK FOR IT TO BE REMOVED upon placing order. I did have the shell cooked but it was hard to removed I spoke to the owner Alex and he was very pleasant about the ordeal and gave me a discount on that plate. Thank you for much for the thorough conversation. Really appreciate the friendliness of everyone there. Ps : bring your patience with you because the food is all cooked fresh therefore it may take a little more time to get your food. It was really worth the wait :). I will definitely visit this place after meeting the hard working owner. You Rock Alex!

Love it here !!!! :) I've been coming here for about 4 years now and I'm so glad that I discovered it. The pupusas are fire and their horchata. The staff is always friendly and they ALWAYS have my food ready when they say it should be ready. Sometimes even before. I never have to wait and that's such a win. Another thing is the store is always clean. I've never seen it dirty. They're quick and efficient and I just love getting my pupusas from here :)

The most disgusting pupusas I've seen and partially ate. Don't think these cooks are authentic for how these pupusas looked. First, they forgot to add cheese. Then the flour was still raw from the rim of the tortilla. Completely burned from both sides and simply no flavor. What a waste of time and money. Don't spend your time or money coming here. I'm not pupusas expert but these suckers were only good for weapons since the texture on them were hard and stale. Our last trip here. How can you serve customers these distasteful pupusas is beyond me. But thanks for making us sick from our stomach.

Que tu negocio siga abierto no significa que sigas triunfando COMO ANTES, y el hecho que te expreses de la manera que lo haces lo dice todo.

so I've order from this place before and their food & pupusas are pretty good...the pupusas were a pretty good size and good portion insid...chunky. the pupusas were $5.00. they raised their prices I get it but the pupusas are thinner with hardly anything inside and now they are $5.25... not cool.

I ordered takeout from here so I can only speak to the food once it landed on a plate at my home, and it did not disappoint!! I had an all-cheese pupusa, loroco and cheese, and revuelta pupusas, and these were a good size and well stuffed. I was only able to half of each because they were very filling. The curtido had a nice crunch and wasn't overly salted, the tomato sauce was subtle, and the beans were nice and smooth. Everything was well packaged and secure, with no spillage during transport. I'll have to come and try the pupusas in person!

I visited tonight and was asked by a team member if it was my first time. I told him that I used to go often, but then moved to Long Beach, and that I drove to Los Angeles tonight specifically to come eat the pupusas here. Delicious. Absolutely recommend. Massive, delicious, reasonably priced. Lots of parking.

Blank flavor on 7 mates soup. Over price 1 7 mares soup an a yuca frita $50 dollars Service not bad. Ambience music toooo loud the waiter can't hear you and you can't he's him either.

Bug in my food. Will not be coming back. Service wasn't great either and after I told the server there was a roach in my food he showed the business owner who happened to be inside the restaurant at the time, he didn't even come and apologize to me. Didn't say a word.

(Doordash order) The food was great! Ordered today in search of good sopa de Sopa de Gallina India Pechuga and some Cheese Pupusa (Pupusa De Queso). I was impressed with the soup, very tasty but i felt like it needed a little more veggies only came with carrots and potato. The gallina was big both the pechuga and the pierna were a good size. Def Had leftovers each sopa came with two tortillas rice a side salad with cucumbers and a piece of tomato and half a lime. I was a bit dissapointed on the pupusa. It was on the smaller side and kinda dry for my liking but could of been because it was delivered to me. Definitely would order from here again.

I have been eyeing this place since I moved into my apartment and finally had a chance to stop in last week. The prices are so worth the portion size and the menu option is huge for such a small place. I got the queso pupusas with loroco flowers and a tamarind agua fresca. By far the best tamarind agua fresca I've had in LA. Come here for good eats!

Amazing food! Tried the cheese/cheese & bean pupusa, camarones a la plancha, fried plantains, empanadas de plantano, and the fried corn tamales. For drinks, we tried the ensalada de fruita. All of it was so delicious & fresh.

Bueno mi comentario es en comida y servicio, La comida no es muy muy buena pero el servicio es muy terrible hay dos personas que atienden a la gente una mujer muy educada y un hombre mal encarado. Es primera y última vez que iremos a este restaurante preguntamos por un jugo para mi hija y no venden jugos preguntamos por un chocolate para mi esposa tampoco tienen eso, preguntamos por el Wi-Fi para que mi Hija pudiera ver su tablet me dijeron que si tenían pero que no se acordaban de La contraseña. No recomiendo este lugar no es un ambiente amable que te van a recibir con una sonrisa o un buenos días hay muchos restaurantes que tiene mejor comida y mucho más amables. Por último mi hija estuvo vomitando Y yo terminé con mucha diarera.

i ate here and it was really good im a little bit concerned about the owner himself saying that he doesnt care about insignificant yelp reviews, that bad reviews are left by people who complain for no reason. the younger generation use yelp these days so they know what to expect and they are teaching the seniors. the place is good so its a shame it has such bad reviews, the owner should think this way too. higher yelp reviews bring more customers ! i hope he cares more about his customers in the future and practices being less passive aggressive and a bit more professional. also, i understand money can be a point of concern but when possible the tables and chairs should really be updated, even some basic wood tables and chairs would make the place a lot nicer and people might want to dine in more ( myself included ).

Food is good but service is ok not comment about it for this location. When you order and they tell you is going to be ready make short is ready I wasn't happy about order and said it will be ready in 45 minutes and food is not ready on time them you just to wait for in other 10 minutes no way.

Great food, Carlos provided great service. Loved the breakfast, platanos and eggs. The fried fish was delicious too.

Amazing restaurant! I have been coming here since 6 years old, and now I am 30! The food quality has not degraded during the years, it honestly has gotten better over the years! My parents have been coming since they were 30 and I hope to one day have my kids come here. I have been to other salvi restaurants and this had been the best around! I Highly recommend!

I am Salvadoran and I can confidently say these pupusas are over priced and not very good. I waited about 40 minutes just for two pupusas and spent $10. Will not be returning

I have been visiting La Flor Blanca for at least 30 years. I started eating at the location on Vernon and Broadway, and later on I made the Jefferson's location my to go place. I would probably say they have the best Pupusas place in the entire Los Angeles area. I met the new owner who is still part of the family of the original owners. He is a young guy who has kept the business going with the same authentic flavors. Today I stopped by and brought Friends with me and they were pretty impressed with the food. Hats Off to this place for representing El Salvador well. Keep the legacy rolling people!!!

Alejandro was super awesome and kind! He was very helpful. The food is always delicious and the ingredients are always the same, which my family and I appreciate. The sit down is very comforting and has a very homey feel and vibe. We never go anywhere else for Pupusas because LA Flor Black has thee best!

Sabrosas pupusas Las empanadas también Buen sazón nuestros saludos a la cocinera/o Pan con pollo también bien sabrosos. Only thing I can complain about is the delivery time, it was a bit of a long wait But the food was worth it, tasty. Portions are on the smaller side but with the prices on everything skyrocketing it's understandable.

Really good Salvadorian restaurant. Their pupusas are the best! I like the fact they have a distinguished variety of ingredients like mushroom, spinach, and pepperoni. Can't go wrong with an order of Plátano Frito. Delicious! Their ensalada is really good as well. Really refreshening. They're located inside a shopping center so they have parking available.

The customer service is the worse I have ever encountered. Especially when ordering over the phone. Not professional at all. To Top it off I had to Wait an hour for a scrambled egg plate. Ridiculous

go for pupusas! Its a hole in a wall Salvadorian restaurant dont hesitate just go. Alao Cheese PUPUSAS is one of my fave! Well melted cheese and chewy too. Rice pupusas reminds me of those red beans dessert from asia.
