Ed Sheeran’s New Notting Hill Restaurant Is Not Good Says Jimi Famurewa | Eater London

"After a very long buildup by Guillaume Depoix, this freshly opened restaurant presents an inviting, comfortable dining room and a charming, attentive front-of-house, but its cooking has disappointed critics. Several small plates fall flat: Marseille-style chickpea panisses are described as feeble, a Brissaouda barely registers beneath its crab topping, and a Sasizzella di tonno introduces an unwelcome sour note to what should be a straightforward spaghetti with clams and mussels. Lunch prix fixe choices have been called punitive, and a chargrilled octopus tentacle suffers from being paired with an ill-fitting butternut squash purée. With prices judged importunate and the food failing to evoke the sunlit Riviera romance many hoped for, the project feels at odds with its long-promised reputation." - George Reynolds

Ordered the all inclusive burger with fries covered in cheese, bacon, and onions. Food came out quicker than anywhere else I've eaten in Marseilles. Burger was great and the fries were excellent. The lady serving us was polite and quick. Glad we stopped here!

Really nice little spot close to everything. The burger was delicious!! The fries were too! Great service! And a nice spot to cool off on a hot day.

Incredibly tasty burger at a decent price. Flavour was amazing and high quality. We ordered at the entrance automatic machines, but you can only pay at the counter. The burger is then brought to you at the table. They seem to be receiving tons of orders, but nevertheless they are very quick. The tables were clean and there is also a toilet customers can use. They do close a bit early at 10pm.

Fresh. Quick. Fair price. Lots of options (« luxury burgers » too for those who prefer something not traditional) I would have loved being able to order sweet potato fries for sides. Maybe available soon 😏

What a nice surprise to try this great burger in Marseille! Prices are apparently a bit higher than other fast food restaurants but consider it as a gourmet burger even though the interior feels like a modern fastfood chain. Recipes are original, bread is tasty, french fries are homemade and simply delicious. Just one thing, I would prefer them to ask how I want my meat because it was a bit overcooked for me and not as juicy as I wanted. Also, I won't give 5 stars because I found the very first seconds quite awkward. We entered the restaurant and the lady behind directly asked us to step back and order with the machine if we want something. It was very cold and this is not what you're looking for when you decide on purpose not to go to a huge chain restaurant. I will always prefer a warm human conversation, although I guess they put the machine for modernity and efficiency. We were not many clients, she could definitely listen to our orders. Fortunately another person came to assist us when we were ordering on the machine.
