La Fonda Of Inglewood Restaurant & Cafe

We had just gotten off the cruise ship and checked into our hotel before lunch, so we googled a restaurant near us. The reviews for La Fonda were spot on. We were seated right away in a cozy, clean, simply decorated establishment. The menu offers much to choose from, food and drinks. The self serve cucumber water is a refreshing touch. Our waiter was attentive and the service was efficient. The chips, salsa and bean dip are house made. Such a great way to start the meal. I wanted to order more but wanted to have room for my burrito. My husband and I split the al pastor wet burrito. On a whim, I ordered the guacamole and am so glad I did. The fresh ingredients added that extra something to the burrito. Out of many Mexican restaurants to choose from near LAX, La Fonda would be my go to if we lived here. Excellent food and service.

I must say this restaurant has some authentic & delicious food & amazing service. We placed an order through uber eats & it wouldn’t allow us to modify or add extras to it. so I called the restaurant & Frances (aka Chef Frances) asked me what extras I wanted & she made it happen. The way they wrapped everything up so that nothing would spill or get messed up is great. Other restaurants should take notes 😂 It’s rear when you order from food delivery services & your food comes intact. So if your in the Inglewood area & your looking for great food with good prices & amazing service you must try La Fonda💯 I promise you won’t be a disappointed😍

We have eaten here quite a few times. Luckily, it's usually not too busy in the late evening, otherwisewe would have taken it to go. Food is always great. The chips and salsa and bean dip are always nice to start off our visit and meal. I also appreciated that they turned down the music so it would not hurt or aggravate my ear injury. Staff is always kind and welcoming. Give this place a try next time you are in the mood for Mexican food.

We tried the Wet Burrito and Veggie Mini Tacos, both were good, burrito was better because of the sauce. Would try other dishes next time we go. The service was great, and large vegetarian selection available!

I ordered looking for a breakfast burrito and La Fonda was a perfect choice after a long night. I for the Steak + Chorizo. The burrito was the packed with flavor and the salsa verde enhanced it. My partner got the soft tacos, one Al Pastor, one Asada. The pastor was better than the asada but both were good!

We were a group of nine heading to a concert at the Kia Forum, so we already had some challenges—limited time before the show and managing a large group. I was prepared for things to be tricky, but Frances and the team made the entire evening seamless and absolutely stress-free. Frances was exceptional from the start. Her communication was clear, professional, and prompt, and she handled our group with such ease and expertise. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly timed for us to enjoy our dinner and make it to the concert without a hitch. When we arrived, the restaurant was bustling (there were other large groups also heading to the Kia Forum), but despite how busy it was, everything ran like clockwork. Our food arrived on time, and every single dish was delicious—every person in our group was impressed. The service was impeccable, even during such a high-pressure, busy time. Parking? No issues at all, which is such a bonus when you’re on a tight schedule. And when it was time to head out, the staff made sure we had clear directions to the Kia Forum, saving us time and hassle. La Fonda is now officially our go-to spot for pre-concert dinners! Fantastic food, flawless service, and a team that truly understands how to take care of their guests—even on a hectic night. Highly recommend!

I would recommend trying La Fonda of Inglewood. We started with Steak Nachos, and they were appetizing. Next, The La Fonda Bowl with added chicken and grilled veggies was tantalizing on the taste buds and full of flavor. We also had the Chicken Taco plate that was satisfying. If you're not paying attention, you would drive by this tasty gem.
