We had just gotten off the cruise ship and checked into our hotel before lunch, so we googled a restaurant near us. The reviews for La Fonda were spot on. We were seated right away in a cozy, clean, simply decorated establishment. The menu offers much to choose from, food and drinks. The self serve cucumber water is a refreshing touch. Our waiter was attentive and the service was efficient. The chips, salsa and bean dip are house made. Such a great way to start the meal. I wanted to order more but wanted to have room for my burrito. My husband and I split the al pastor wet burrito. On a whim, I ordered the guacamole and am so glad I did. The fresh ingredients added that extra something to the burrito. Out of many Mexican restaurants to choose from near LAX, La Fonda would be my go to if we lived here. Excellent food and service.

Google
I must say this restaurant has some authentic & delicious food & amazing service. We placed an order through uber eats & it wouldn’t allow us to modify or add extras to it. so I called the restaurant & Frances (aka Chef Frances) asked me what extras I wanted & she made it happen. The way they wrapped everything up so that nothing would spill or get messed up is great. Other restaurants should take notes 😂 It’s rear when you order from food delivery services & your food comes intact. So if your in the Inglewood area & your looking for great food with good prices & amazing service you must try La Fonda💯 I promise you won’t be a disappointed😍

We have eaten here quite a few times. Luckily, it's usually not too busy in the late evening, otherwisewe would have taken it to go. Food is always great. The chips and salsa and bean dip are always nice to start off our visit and meal. I also appreciated that they turned down the music so it would not hurt or aggravate my ear injury. Staff is always kind and welcoming. Give this place a try next time you are in the mood for Mexican food.

Google
I ordered looking for a breakfast burrito and La Fonda was a perfect choice after a long night. I for the Steak + Chorizo. The burrito was the packed with flavor and the salsa verde enhanced it. My partner got the soft tacos, one Al Pastor, one Asada. The pastor was better than the asada but both were good!

Google
I would recommend trying La Fonda of Inglewood. We started with Steak Nachos, and they were appetizing. Next, The La Fonda Bowl with added chicken and grilled veggies was tantalizing on the taste buds and full of flavor. We also had the Chicken Taco plate that was satisfying. If you're not paying attention, you would drive by this tasty gem.

A bit late, but I just have to share our incredible experience at La Fonda! We were a group of nine heading to a concert at the Kia Forum, so we already had some challenges—limited time before the show and managing a large group. I was prepared for things to be tricky, but Frances and the team made the entire evening seamless and absolutely stress-free. Frances was exceptional from the start. Her communication was clear, professional, and prompt, and she handled our group with such ease and expertise. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly timed for us to enjoy our dinner and make it to the concert without a hitch. When we arrived, the restaurant was bustling (there were other large groups also heading to the Kia Forum), but despite how busy it was, everything ran like clockwork. Our food arrived on time, and every single dish was delicious—every person in our group was impressed. The service was impeccable, even during such a high-pressure, busy time. Parking? No issues at all, which is such a bonus when you’re on a tight schedule. And when it was time to head out, the staff made sure we had clear directions to the Kia Forum, saving us time and hassle. La Fonda is now officially our go-to spot for pre-concert dinners! Fantastic food, flawless service, and a team that truly understands how to take care of their guests—even on a hectic night. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! La Fonda of Inglewood Restaurant and Cafe is a true gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality—the staff here are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and taken care of, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The food? Unbelievably fresh! You can taste the quality in every bite. Each dish bursts with flavor and feels like it was prepared with real care and passion. But if there's one thing you must try, it's the La Fonda Bowl—a perfect blend of savory ingredients, rich textures, and bold, satisfying flavors that come together beautifully. It's comforting, filling, and absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend it enough! Whether you're looking for a casual lunch spot or a cozy place to grab dinner with friends or family, La Fonda delivers every time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out—you absolutely must!

Google
I never leave reviews so trust me when I say, this is the place to go for authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is impeccable. They offer water, andcucumbers for those who order take out as well as dine in. Their vegetarian and gluten free options are very inclusive. Overall I love the atmosphere, food came out at a timely manner and everything was great. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
We were looking for a new weekend brunch spot and decided to give La Fonda a try. When we got there at around 10am, there were plenty of spots in the parking lot. The host was very friendly and helpful. We got seated, and perused the menu. We were told all items were available. I ordered an asada wet burrito, and my friend ordered the breakfast burrito with steak. Both of us enjoyed our dishes. I ordered the wet burrito because it was on the recommendation menu. The host told us that the green sauce was spicier so, of course, I selected that! The sauce was not spicy for my taste buds. Burrito was great. Before our food came, we were provided with the complimentary chips and a very flavorful salsa with a kick! The dining area was a large hall style with self serve water and to-go box station. Due to the high ceilings, it has the potential to get pretty loud, so not the best option if you want a super quiet, cozy, peaceful meal.

Yelp
Amazing service and great food! It's tucked away in a plaza conveniently next to the airport. We came here on a Wednesday night for a late dinner and our server was super friendly with a print out of his favorites from the menu which was helpful since it was our first time. The free chips, salsa, and beans were addicting. really flavorful and I like how the salsa had green onions. he also gave us the habanero and green salsa which was more spicy We ended up getting the chicken and potato taquitos and the menudo. Taquitos were a 4/5 since it was overly fried for me and a bit dry on the inside but the menudo was a 5/5. Probably the best I've had with fresh tortilla. Will come back to try more items! They also have margs and drinks

Yelp
I have been meaning to try this place for years and finally made it today. I wish I'd come sooner. Really solid great tasting old-school Mexican food. Had crispy tacos, enchiladas, guac and both the red and green salsas. Neither was super spicy, but both had great flavor. Was very happy and completely satisfied. Will definitely come back, worth the drive! Got it to go, but the dining room looks so clean, would eat her next time.

Yelp
It's a bigger place then you'd expect by looking at it from the outside. Parking is a little tight but plenty of street parking. Overall, the food was plentiful and delicious. The prices were also very good for what you got. You could tell things were made fresh. Service was good, our waitress recommened what she'd get and helped us make a decision. Food came quick with constant check ins.

Yelp
I always love the fact I can find a locally owned restaurant and this place is a gym I did get the food to go and all I can say is when ordering on Yelp be careful it said the order didn't go through but it did. Now on to the food I got the enchiladas and I swear hands down the masa is the best enchilada masa I've ever had in my life. The cheese enchiladas were simply amazing and I did get the green sauce which was spot on spicy it was delicious I'm assuming it's homemade there I also tried the Diablo or very spicy sauce it was very spicy but it was very very flavorful next time I'm in town I'm going to try more of their food I didn't get to see the dining area because I just had pick up food but there was a nice flow of folk going in and out. The staff there is outstanding love supporting a restaurant like this.

Yelp
Okay I wanted to try this place because the reviews are amazing and it's also very close to my job! I got the taquitos de papa and let me say it did not disappoint! It was so good and crunchy and just perfect! The rice and beans made it 10x better with all the ingredients as well. Definitely will be coming back! I called and placed an order and was ready within 10 mins. They have a parking lot and dine in seating, it's spacious. Definitely will be coming back!!

Yelp
Right off the bat we received a genuinely welcoming welcome from Kane. We were seated after the grand tour courtesy of our waitress, Frances. We walked in the door and we were offered margarita samples, strawberry and lime. We were offered beans, salsa and chips. Quite yummy. The salsa is very tasty. Later in the meal, we were offered salsa samples. The food was very good and the portions were not huge. It was my birthday so I was offered a free birthday margarita. Frances was an attentive server, quite a pleasure to get to know during our dining experience. Overall, a great meal and we'll be coming back next time we fly out of LAX.

Yelp
Decided to try this spot with a friend for dinner. At the entrance was greeted by a friendly server. Waited about 10 minutes until they told me to sign my party in on a clipboard. I ordered an Al pastor taco and enchilada plate. The Al pastor taco was probably the best thing I had. The meat was tender and flavorful. You could tell that it was fresh. The enchilada plate was of cheese and chicken with two different sauces. The red sauce had no spice and the green one was spicy as advertised on their menu. The enchiladas lacked flavor along with the beans and rice served with them. The rice was dry and the beans were good but were missing something else like cheese on top. I could not speak for the other dishes since my friend ordered them but he said he enjoyed them and would give it an 8/10. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice with Spanish music playing. It was clean, the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the temperature in there as it was pretty warm and I had to take off my sweater. There is plenty of parking outside considering it is on a busy street. Overall I would come back here if I was I the area for lunch.

Yelp
My favorite Mexican food whenever I'm in the area. Francis and the rest of the staff is always friendly and super attentive. The restaurant has a family vibe where you almost feel like you're dining at your mom or Tia's house. The table chips were warm and also served with our favorite beans and salsa. This time I got the 2 gordita plate one with al pastor and the second with carne asada. Both gorditas were stuffed to the rim with a good portion of meat and all the fixings (beans, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream). They are also served with rice and beans. I love their green salsa it has a perfect blend of spice. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
The food here is delicious!! The service was wonderful and the restaurant is so clean. I loved the enchilada platter I got. I got the steak, chicken, and cheese enchilada platter and it was plenty of food. They charge reasonable prices here too. Everything was so fresh and I loved every bite of the food I had here.

Yelp
This place has a remarkably high rating and after one visit I must agree that it is earned! I was in town to see an epic show at the brand new Intuit Dome and wanted to have a proper meal before going into the venue and this checked all of the boxes. Close to the arena, free available parking, a decent amount of tables, good prices, and (hopefully) good food. The vibes were immaculate, and what pushed this experience over the top was the service, which was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The chips, salsa, and beans they bring out on the house are amazing. So fresh and warm they felt like they came straight from the fryer, served with a salsa that is flavorful and bold with the perfect amount of heat and properly thin yet hearty refried beans, to boot. My brother and I both got the fish tacos, and again, expectations were met, and exceeded. The fish was a touch salty but the salsa and chips brought more deep flavor and punch than salt so it all balanced out wonderfully. Three big tacos on double tortillas with those amazing chips for $18 with self-serve cucumber water is like a dream come true, but here, that dream is a reality. As our excellent server suggested, get the spicy green salsa to go with the tacos -- it's a perfect pairing. If I'm ever in town from the bay to hit a show at the Intuit Dome or Kia Forum in the future I will absolutely swing by La Fonda before the gig to get the night started in a high note.

Yelp
Ordered for take out- 2 burritos (chorizo & egg breakfast//wet shrimp w/ half green & half red salsa). The store is quite small, but very clean. I almost missed it because of the somewhat subtle signage. I didn't notice their sign on the plaza sign pole. My order came w/ 2 small bags of delicious & crunchy tortilla chips & 2 sides of red salsa w/ green onions. Sizes of burritos weren't huge, but still pretty filling. They packed the wet burrito very well to prevent as much spilling into the plastic bag as possible. There was still some spillage but it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast burrito was good! Split it in half & that was enough to keep me full until my next meal. Pretty plain w/ rice, beans, eggs, chorizo, & no veggies. The salsa gave it more flavor. The saddest part was when I discovered my wet burrito was only red even though half green/red was requested. I wanted to give both a try to see which was better, but maybe next time. Also, didn't expect small shrimp portions for a shrimp burrito. There were maybe only 4 shrimps in the whole burrito & it was noticeable bc they were all on one side (the side I ate first), which was how I noticed that my other half was just tortilla, sour cream, rice, & veggies. The grilled onion and peppers complement the shrimp burrito profile very well. They charge more for shrimp & wet burrito ($16 to $16.95 based on where you place the order), so that's why I wouldn't say it was the greatest value. Probably wouldn't order it again if this is the normal ratio they serve it as. Not the cheapest price range for portion sizes but also worth the try if you're in the area. My order was very quickly prepared right on time for scheduled pickup & the staff were friendly. It was early morning so there were no other customers eating or taking out. Would definitely give it another try the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
We were going to a concert and found this gem! It is very close to Inuit Dome and has its own parking lot! When you first walk in it looks very small, but when you get seated it's in another room with more seating. Water is self served. We got complimentary chips, salsa and beans. The salsa wasn't very spicy. The beans tho...oh my gosh!!! The beans were SO good!!!!! I mean, the ladies that I were with don't really care for beans at Mexican places, but they ate these up!! I ordered 2 Hard Taco plate (carnitas and steak). It comes with rice and beans. The portion was a good amount! I couldn't finish everything. And the price was very reasonable! I left so content, full and happy! I'd definitely recommend coming here and will definitely be back!

Yelp
From the welcoming/friendly staff to the motivational decor, I recommend eating at La Fonda. The menu has variety options. Spacious dining and restroom located in rear of dining hall. The shrimp taco plate was decent. Glad I tried this local business. The shrimp taco plate comes with rice and beans, lime, small tortilla chips, salsa, and sauce options. The salsas and sauce are a bit spicy but bearable. Not for the weak pallets or digestive lining. The tacos were tasty, and served with corn tortillas, peppers and onions. Totally satisfied with this local Mexican eatery. They have a small drink menu which I ordered the sorrel/hibiscus. Definitely worth an add if you like sorrel. The tortilla chips are in house made. If you're in the Inglewood area or staying for a layover nearby, eat at La Fonda!

Yelp
Live the vibe of the spot. Like the food. Nice to quickly come here after an event at SoFi. Glad it wasn't super busy and we were able to quickly get our food. I got the chicken taquitos and my son got the wet burrito. I prefer carne asada taquitos, they didn't have that but the chicken taquitos did their thing. My son did not LOVE the red sauce but he enjoyed the burrito regardless. I'd come back and bring others. My son rated them a 3.5 and I rated them a 5 which puts them at a 4.25 for us.

Yelp
Very cute spot! I had the shrimp enchiladas which were very good! Very moist and cooked just right! I'm really picky when my shrimp is overcooked! The service was quick and on point! I will definitely be back to try other items! The freshly fried chips were great too!

Yelp
I had seen this place on yelp plenty of times when looking for Mexican food and always said i was going to go but never did. Man oh man am i glad i finally did. I was craving a chorizo burrito the other morning after my pilates class.... don't judge me lol. Anywho, so I thought what about that place i saw. I googled it to get the address and off i went. Fast forward its located in a little strip mall but cannot be missed.. It's small from the outside but bigger inside with indoor seating. The service was friendly and quick. I was there probably 15 minutes for a chorizo breakfast burrito. It was so delicious with and without the salsa. They have mild to hot, all were really good and he hot was really hot lol. I will definitely be back to try other items in the menu.

Yelp
Good salsa, tostada, nachos, and great service! We appreciate the attentive staff too

Yelp
I was visiting Inglewood for a concert so o googled "breakfast near me" and this place popped up. From the outside it looks quiet but inside they are playing good music and have the most friendly staff. I ordered the carne asada torta, fire! I totally recommend this spot it's so good and price friendly!

Yelp
I was going to a show at SoFi and didn't wanna pay 20.00 for a hot dog. Stopped here and got two crunchy steak tacos, chips and salsa (complimentary), and a lemonade all for 13 bucks without tip. Great price but the steak was some of the driest meat I've ever eaten. So I probably wouldn't get it again... Salsa and chips tasted homemade, service was really good. Parking was easy and it's a good location to eat fast then get to a show. Clean bathrooms and nice clean dining area.

Yelp
I love La Fonda. the food is amazing and so tasty and the owner and Kaine are the best in great customer service. Thank you for always being. Prompt in our lunch hour. Your the best doll

Yelp
I recently started working in Inglewood and during my heavy days, I needed to order something quick for lunch. I stumbled across La Fonda on Yelp and it was the best come up EVER. I had ordered delivery a few times and the food was DE-LICIOUS every time. Finally had a chance to stop by this morning to grab a bite before work, and I absolutely lovedddd the vibe of the place. Staff were friendly and tables were already reserved early in the AM, so you know this place is poppin. Hope to come back again soon, this time with friends and family

Yelp
The food was good. Loved the chips and salsa. They were crunchy but soft and most importantly, fresh. My husband ordered the wet shrimp burrito. Good amount of shrimp, and the sauce was delicious, wished he would have ordered more chips. I had the potato taquitos. Served with a side of rice and beans. I would have liked the tacos more if they were topped with salsa, sour cream and lettuce when served. As opposed to having to dip them in sour cream and guac, and topping it with lettuce or eating it with a fork. The margarita was quite mild. Definitely needed a little more triple sec and tequila. Then again it's not too expensive. Most places charge $15 here you pay $7. The service was really good. Everyone here was nice, servers were good about making rounds and making sure we got everything we needed. They seemed to have a lot of people coming to pick up food, and likely had little time to tend to tables left with dishes, but I think it should be a priority. Just not pleasant to see leftovers. Overall, the place is spacious, food is good, and staff is great!

Yelp
I have been here many times and I very much enjoy the food. My mom came over and was hungry so I suggested this place since they have delivery and I actually enjoy the food. My food was good. I had the Camarones a la diabla. She ordered the chile relleno. My mom was almost done eating when she bit into something hard. She spit it out immediately. It was a small piece of metal. She was scooping the beans with the chips. So she doesn't know where it came from. Could have been either. At first we thought it was a staple but we realized the chips aren't stapled shut. So we have no clue. I really love this place so I'm disappointed her first time trying this happened.

Yelp
Amazing customer service! They brought me chips and salsa while I waited for my takeout order. They were so kind and welcoming. The kind of place you want to support. Food is also great!
google avatar

Rita H.

Yelp
The food was lacking in flavor. The margaritas seemed to have little to no alcohol. More like juice. The only standout was the customer service. They were nice but in terms of service they got my friends order wrong 3x. It was only my first time here but nothing was impressive enough to wanna give them a second chance.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy, quick and easy! We both got the tacos and they were really good! The service was quick and kind and there were tons of seats! I will say the chairs are a tad uncomfortable but food was good!! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
good food with great customer service! The host/waitress was very sweet and patient, and the food was pretty tasty.

Yelp
California burrito * tortilla was great * even though i dined in, the burrito inside was cold and the cheese inside was not melted * guac and sour cream was bomb * steak was acceptable. It tastes good and had some crispy parts but slightly lacked flavor * fries were generous but thick and soggy Complimentary chips were golden and deep fried. I didn't love the salsa as much but they did offer a bean dip as well. Overall still highly enjoyable and I wouldn't mind coming again if the burrito was warm next time. The servers were AWESOME. So friendly and down to earth. Huge parking lot in front of the restaurant

Yelp
Looking for a quick bite before your flight? This place is quick and delicious! I came here before my flight and had the 2 chicken + 2 potato taquitos plate. It's was tasty and reasonably priced. Frances was awesome, she was quick and helpful. I look forward to making this place a tradition before flying away...

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden jewel in Inglewood. Food is excellent and the service is great. Definitely would come back

Yelp
I had the 4 mini tacos appetizer. I got one of each kind of meat: steak, chicken, carnitas and Al pastor. The Al pastor and carnitas were my favorite! The tortillas were soft but sturdy and didn't fall apart like many street taco style tacos do. The service was great and so welcoming. I would happily go back again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Good prices and fast service! Very good Horchata and both burritos we got were tasty!

Yelp
I landed at LAX, starving, and wanted to indulge in Mexican food quickly. I found La Fonda from a quick Google search, and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed the food! The chips and salsa, and chicken taquitos were delish. Service was friendly and fast too! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
For this place to not be busy on a Saturday can work both ways -- it's not so popular or as desired as a weekend craving BUT it works out to grab a quick bite before your flight because it's just minutes away from LAX! We were greeted by a sweet and chatty server. She gave samples when one of my gorl friends couldn't decide on the juices. And instead of chips and just salsa, she surprised our group with additional dips like bean dip and guac. Service was great! But what brought this review to 3 stars is the food. It's honestly mid. Pork was dry and chips were bland after she's raved it's the best she's had. I needed to over-lime my tacos. I did like that you could mix up your proteins but if I had known al pastor would be past juicy, I'd go for the more tender meat. Even my other gorl friend didn't like her chicken. So to pay $12 for really mid tacos is kind of disappointing but at least portion is good. Overall, a decent spot to grab some grub before your flight without paying overpriced airport food!

Yelp
I think the entrance is so cute. They have joyful and fun things as decor. The flavor was there but I thought it was going to be a bit bigger. It was still good & I'd order again other things. Very friendly service.

Yelp
Instant fan. I grew up in Inglewood and give a big thumbs up to this culinary addition. La Fonda offers inexpensive, high-quality Mexican food in a cute, but not fancy, modern setting. I ordered my Al Pastor Wet Burrito with red and green sauce - Christmas style - with red atop one end and green on the other. The green was spicer, but both quite delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered from bowls to fish tacos. The service was super friendly too. More sauce for the fish tacos? Yes right away! They had a pretty good selection of beers too - Dos Equis, Corona, and Modelo - Superior or Negra. The signs are funny - they make sure everyone feels welcome and it's really clear that they don't want to hear your cell phone. Use your headphones or for calls, make them outside. Authentic Mexican food with quality ingredients, what's not to like? I'm a fan. 4 stars!

Yelp
Dang what took me so long to review this restaurant? It's definitely a 5/5 all the way. Food: We got a wet red sauce shrimp burrito and fish tacos. The green sauce is supposed to be spicy and the red sauce is not supposed to spicy. But I'm glad I got the red sauce because it was plenty spicy and GOOD. My partner got the fish tacos and they were incredible perfection. They also give you complimentary chips with salsa and bean dip. Oooooh the bean dip was so good and the salsa has a predominantly tomato taste with a kick of spice. Service: It's a family owned restaurant, and everyone is so nice and friendly. The owner even gave us a sample of their horchata and hibiscus tea because it was our first time there! Ambiance: It's a cute place with witty signs. The place looks small from the outside and when you enter, but there's a pretty big dining room around the corner once you're inside. It's clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!!

Yelp
Great clean spot. Stopped for a quick lunch solo and got their steak burrito. Great tasting food. They also serve beans and salsa with chips with your food. Solid salsa's. Service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
This place is a small quaint little spot where the workers treat you like family. They greet you when you walk in and walk you to your table. Moreover, if you want to try something, for example the agua fresca, before buying it, they readily provide a taste of each one (if you want to try each one). The food: what can I say besides DELICIOUS! Everything is house made including the salsas, sopes and gorditas (which is what I had). I am an avid critique of the salsas, and when the chips and salsa came out, I was happily surprised. They made the salsa like it should be, with a slight little kick and they also give you a little serving of beans that had an extra little flavor that I could not make out but which was on another level. The gorditas were delicious, as mentioned, they were home made from scratch so I had no complaints whatsoever. While I did not purchase a margarita (as I was driving) they did bring out a small sample of both the lemonade and strawberry lemonade and DAMN! They were really good, def getting one next time.

Yelp
Quite frankly, food was bland. The service was not great either. With their attitude they make you feel like they're doing you a favor to serve you their food. Better options in the area. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Quick and good food. We like to come here before the football games and know we will always get some good tacos and chips & salsa. Steak is marinated well and not fatty. Salsa is spicey but you can't get enough. Chips always hot and fresh. Service quick and friendly. They have parking in a lot which is key in LA. Ambiance inside is casual. One thing I didn't like is they allowed people from outdoors come in to sell things to you while eating.

Yelp
why am I just noticing this. Let me start off with saying even to a telemarketer you should treat kind. I do buy often ( I did stop), when I did go often that did not mean I went around asking for names or any detail, get in order and go. What I did figure out tho is how unkind you are to people, tip: everything starts in the heart, go work on it and come back to working with people because the people are what keep YOUR business running.

Yelp
I wish there were more vegetarian options, but I'd much rather have limited amazing vegetarian options than several okay vegetarian options. I was so impressed by my quesadilla. Definitely want to come back. Our server, who I believe was also the owner or manager, was very friendly. She has a few health-related dietary restrictions, so as someone with celiac disease myself, I felt extremely comfortable eating here. It's so nice to actually partake in Los Angeles's amazing Mexican food without getting super sick! I wish Styrofoam wasn't used, but I'm sure small businesses need to do what they need to do

Yelp
We decided to eat here before the Rams game on Sunday. It's located 2 miles from SoFi Stadium. We arrived at 10:30AM and there was plenty of seating, it did get busy around noon but slowed down shortly after. SEATING Don't be surprised by the small room when you enter through the front door, there's a slightly larger dining room in the back. It's self seating. I wouldn't come here if your party was more than 6-8 people, unless you didn't mind splitting up tables. FOOD and DRINKS The food was authentic and delicious and REASONABLY PRICED, you can't go wrong with any of the menu items. They also serve a limited alcohol selection: beers such as Modelo and Pacifico ($7), Margaritas ($7.50) , and Mimosas ($7.50). SERVICE Service was a bit slow to order... at one point I wasn't sure if we were supposed to order at the front, but eventually a server came around and took our orders. Once the orders were in, the food came out quickly. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. I would come back next time I'm in the area for a football game.

Yelp
Fantastic and friendly service, excellent chilaquiles with rice and beans -- the latter part of which I don't see in most other places but very much appreciate. Good spot for anyone with a long layover at nearby LAX and locals looking for a fantastic brunch spot on the weekends.

Yelp
Staying overnight on the way home to Kansas City and was hungry for some local Mexican food. Lots of choices nearby but I chose La Fonda because it looked nice and well spoken for. A warm greeting from the hostess and servers was a great sign. Spicy salsa and some warm bean dip for the chips. My son chose the carne asada plate and I had steak enchilada plate. A couple of lime margaritas for me and some Jarritos for my son. All was delicious and I'd recommend highly. Servers were great and cute too.

Yelp
I was looking forward to having a delicious old school Mexican meal before our concert at Kia Forum. We started with real well fried corn tortilla chips. Served with a small bowl of refried beans and spicy tomatoes salsa. The appetizer with the strawberry margaritas was a fantastic combo. We order the 2 taco Al pastor combo, it came with rice and refried beans. The tacos were on the saucy side. I'm just used to the drier version. Despite it being on the wetter side it had a lot of flavor. Definitely would order again. Second item was the Carne Asada plate that was a big piece of meat with beans, rice, small salad with fresh corn tortilla. Now this where we had an issue. Carne Asada is marinated grill meat. I have never had a horrible piece of meat like this one. It was literally a piece of round tossed on a grill and it was the toughest bland piece of beef I have ever eaten. Someone forgot to marinate or even seasoned it. We only discovered it after we took it to go. It was a waste of money on this dish. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. I would only return to try the other item but would never eat Carne Asada here.
