Everything You Need to Know About Restaurants, Bars, and the Food Hall at the New Fontainebleau Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"A French-inspired daytime fine-dining venue focused on brunch and tea service that features a curated wine program with tastings and pairing lessons; the refined, lounge-like dining room — complete with glass chandeliers, curvy couches and soft indie music — serves items like lobster eggs Benedict, market-fresh salads, and bluefin tuna tartare." - Janna Karel

My husband and I went for our Valentines/ 7th year Anniversary. It was fabulous and friendly just as it was 3 years ago. You could reserve a table for 2 or for a group. The bar was open, champagne and wine flowing. The food was 5 course and delicious. The owner was dancing around to every table greeting everyone. The DJ knew exactly what to play. We will definitely go for the 3rd time.....Lord Willing

I recently had the pleasure of officiating a wedding at this venue though it was a little dated & had a minor mildewed smell it was clean and the staff was great especially Wendy who was helpful to my Bride2B I would still recommend this location just bring some Febreez Minister LaTanya Turner-Officiant

Google
Decent venue, maybe if you are a guest. For me, a vendor, not so much. The event space looks nice and is spacious. The staff do well with decorating and catering. My issue came with being a vendor and being tild it was okay to unload my gear in 2 different locations. I'll share this with whomever reads this, since the venue seems to not do well with informing vendors, THEY WANT YOU TO UNLOAD AND BRING YOUR GEAR IN THRU THE KITCHEN AREA. They do not want vendors to unload via the front entrances, as they fear the doorways and flooring will be damaged.

Event hall from first entering aesthetically is outdated. There are many carpeted event rooms inside that have beautiful chandeliers, Bar service, white clothed table rounds and chairs with place settings, servers, cand a dance floor. It was a nice setup for my friends event.

Google
I went to the prom here, BACK IN THE DAY! This place hasn't changed. Great gathering venue for whatever function you are hosting. Staff is helpful and the service is excellent. Food isn't too bad either. Its in the middle of The Burnie, what more do you want?

Very large venue. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was ample, but awkward. Very well lit and secure.

Google
Very nice place to have an event. Most of the staff are very helpful. Food however is something to be desired.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here and It was outstanding! We did not have to do anything but just show up! If you can afford it, please consider this place!

Yelp
Se siente mal olor desde la entrada del local Estuve en una boda y este lugar está con mal olor

Yelp
It is absolutely beautiful inside. Large parking lot... I went to a Thursday night event. DJ Kenny K was 5 stars. However, I don't like that seated tables are for rsvp customers only (money thing, I get it). They have a few standing tables and a handful of chairs sitting up against the wall. They could outline the room in chairs to offer more seating. The dance floor is big enough... so the additional chairs wouldn't hurt... Also, it could use more cool air. Overall, I had a good time.

Yelp
Mother's Day Brunch was an underwhelming experience for me. From reading some of the previous reviews, I can see why. Overall, Mother's Day Brunch staff felt and looked a tad overwhelmed. Almost like they were not prepared for the number of tickets it sold. They advertised Crab Cakes and crab soup as part of the menu offereings. Only to send an email a month before the event stating that the market prices were too high. They didn't want the customers to incur higher ticket pricing. All this with a no refund policy. The food + desert stations were as advertised. But, they had a long delay with the fried chicken replenishment. I felt that if they had timed entry, they could have better managed the crowd to food ratios. Everyone was in good spirits, and Moms had a good time.

Yelp
My cousin was scheduled to have her 60th birthday celebration tonight. My cousin arrived only to find out they closed for renovations. My cousin was not made aware of this, and she had already paid for tables for her guess. My cousin then had to try and reach her guest to let them know that the LA Fontaine Bleaue was closed. Very unprofessional, and it would make people never book an event there ever again. We end up eating at Bubbas, so my cousin still got to enjoy her birthday

Yelp
First, I want to make it clear that my family (much like many families in the Lanham/New Carrollton area) has hosted a number of events at the New Carrollton location over a span of about 30+ years. From birthdays, to graduation celebrations, wedding receptions--you name it. My mother booked this place in December 2019 to host her 60th birthday in June of 2020. Then, we were faced with a global pandemic and she was no longer able to proceed with her plans. My mother obviously made an attempt to reach the business and request a refund for her deposit (over $700). It should be noted that most businesses have been willing to offer partial or even full refunds for such instances, as my mother's event was not canceled by choice but due to circumstance. My mother's deposit was for the New Carrollton location; however, that location has since shut down. I just spoke with the owner, Tom Stuehler, and he was *extremely* unprofessional, rude, combative, and dismissive. My approach was initially pleasant and I was simply trying to understand the reasoning behind any lack of effort to resolve this matter with my mother. Almost immediately, his tone was out of line and he over-talked me the entire conversation; I can't imagine he made any attempt to understand anything I was communicating to him. Tom also suggested we explore the Glen Burnie location, but who would want to continue doing business with someone who lacks basic customer service and is quite rude? No, thank you. Proceed at your own risk as the owner apparently lacks both human decency and compassion. My guess is the service staff are what kept the New Carrollton location afloat all of these years, because it couldn't have been Tom. Note: Read the other unfavorable reviews. One specifically calls out Tom as lacking solid customer service.

Yelp
We went to this space for a Father's Day event, and it was a disappointment. Although the staff was pleasant, the food was subpar and I got the feeling the event was just thrown together (limited bar selection + a nonstop beyonce playlist instead of a dj). I would not go back.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but the owner Thomas Stuehler made it very difficult to do so. I was here for the crab and shrimp feast. The tickets were only $50.00 for adults and even though l find that reasonable the owner was so rude! First of all let me say this is right next to Backfin Grille. I went to a crabfeast there before which was nothing like this one. He only allowed his staff to give out 3 crabs at a time. He wouldn't even allow the staff to bring the crabs to the table. We had to keep getting back in line and that was ridiculous! When l said something to him he yelled look she is not supposed to pass out more than three crabs at a time. She was actually giving out four but he told her three"REALLY"?? Do l look like l eat three crabs at a time.I DON'T THINK SO! HOMEY DON'T PLAY THAT!. It took forever just to eat nine crabs because of this and he kept yelling at his staff like they were children. Now the food was good but you only were allowed crabs from 8-10 and half of that time was spent standing in line. The event was from 7pm to 11pm. They only served one beer on draft which was natural light. It didn't taste bad but how about more options. He had a lot of stipulations and the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because somebody in that kitchen made very good southern fried chicken and my crabs were still pretty good despite the fact l had to nearly fight for them and although l enjoyed my crabs. He waited until after 9pm before he brought out the bigger crabs. I would continue to do my crabfeast at Backfin Grille but not here. It's not worth the hassle. The DJ was ok but he started off with mellow music. I thought he was trying to put us to sleep with his music. He know we were drinking beer lol. Someone gave him some music to get us up on our feet line dancing. I enjoy line dancing. The owner really need to check his attitude. I really don't know how his staff deals with him. You should treat people with respect regardless of their position. I'm sure you will agree.

Yelp
Never been to this place. Was invited to a wedding here. Decor not too bad, a little dated in some areas but overall looks well enough. The ceremony area was nice and had plenty of seating. The food was ok from beginning to end. The dinning area was nicely decorated. I did catch a bone and shell in the filet stuffed crabmeat.

Yelp
We were only here for a festival (chili & beer fest), but it was an enjoyable visit. It's definitely not the most amazing venue I've ever seen, but that wasn't the expectation, either. Still, it's not without its charms and flaws. Charms: * Nice interior, paneling, sconces, adornment, etc. It looks like it would be a lovely venue for a reception. * Since it's right on Route 2, access is pretty simple. It's literally on the route, and it's only a few minutes from I-97. Very convenient location. * Decent accommodations include pretty clean and updated restrooms. * The food was pretty tasty. We only got to try their chili, but it was a smoked brisket offering, and it was delicious. If the rest of their food echoes this entry, then I have to imagine it's pretty wonderful. Flaws: * Parking is a joke. They don't have enough spots for a large crowd, and the lot itself looks dangerous to walk over without extremely thick soles. I was literally worried about picking up tetanus or some other disease. * The facility, while nice, still looks outdated, especially on the outside. It could use a fresh coat of paint (or two), and some modernization here and there. The carpets were okay, but maybe it's time to replace them as well. Overall, a decent venue, especially for the area. If I lived nearby, I would definitely consider hosting a fete here.

Yelp
They single-handedly RUINED my wedding last Friday. Run from this place. They are a fraud. They gave me some of my money back but that will NEVER REPLACE MY DAY. They are extremely disorganized and I didn't get half the things I paid for in my package. They lost my personal items, my bridal party and our parents never ate or got any hor d'oeuvres, they dropped my cake...I could go on forever. RUN!!!! Put your money and trust in another business. Don't say you weren't warned. Update: The owner Tom called me and threatened to cancel the check for my partial refund if I did not remove this (HONEST) review. Smh this place is AWFUL!

Yelp
i would give no star if allowed. don't book your wedding or any event here!!! very unprofessional, poor managment, disrespectful and disorganized. they change manager every week, once you sign the agreement they deny everything that you agreed on. they ruined my wedding day by assigning the owner of the place (who have no clue about my wedding agreement, who is very rude, racist and disrespectful guy) to control my wedding. he kept bothering my dj and sound system and my guests the whole night and he turned off all the light and sound system before the end of my wedding when my wedding was almost over. then he disrespected and cursed all of my family to get off his property which we called a police at the end. don't book here and tell everyone you know not to book here, you will regret it. this place needs to be closed.

Yelp
My daughter was all dressed up for her first interview ever at this place. We arrive on time and, these unprofessional A Holes told her the person giving the interview was going to be 45 mins late. No call to my daughter in advance of being so late or apology. Screw you guys for being so unprofessional and wasting our time!

Yelp
THE WORST. I have an upcoming wedding here and from the very beginning of my wedding planning process, my experience has been horrible. It's currently Friday evening, and my wedding is Sunday and I have yet to receive a call from anyone who works here regarding confirmation of my plans. I started off working with Melanie who talked my ear off about personal matters instead of listening to what I wanted for the wedding. Every time I would call her to give her my ifor the cake or decorations, she would rush me off the phone and say "come back closer to the wedding day". She left, so I was working with Melissa. I was then transferred to work with Tatiana. Tatiana was very sweet, however it was her first week there and she wasn't familiar with the package we were offered. Due to this, the WEEK OF THE WEDDING, Fontaine Bleue called my mother in law and told her that some of the things we had wanted were not included in our package. As a bride, being told that plans are not set to go is very frustrating. I feel like I have been cheated and lied to. The workers here are absolutely no help. I've called and left messages at the office and no one returns my phone calls. Melissa told me she would call me back with details and still has not. Drea's voicemail isn't set up so there's no way of reach her. I honestly don't know how this place is even in business. We were told that with our package, the cake would be included. However, after making all the payments, they tell us that we have to pay extra for the cake and that the flowers for the cake aren't included and will need to come from my florist. WTF?! If you're thinking about booking, DON'T! RUN AWAY! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

Yelp
I wanted to do something different this year and go out to eat for thanksgiving. I heard this restaurant was classy so I was happy when I heard it was open for thanksgiving. I paid almost $60 per person (party of 3). Here's where everything went down south. When we got there we had an assigned table that was already being accompanied with another family. I went to the host to inform her and she tried to sit us at a dirty table. I asked for another table she tried to sit my family and I at an even filthier table. Luckily another patron who knows the owner told me I could pick any available table I wanted. I did. The host and I guess her sidekick said the tables are already assigned. I said well why was my original table assigned to me seated already? No answer. Next the manager help get our drinks and napkins. NO ONE ELSE helped us with clearing our table with dirty plates or even offering refills. Every table around us was being attended to. The food was disgusting. For 60/person you made box Mac and cheese? The food just sat out for a long time until someone changed the pan. I had to wait 25 minutes for clean plates to be brought out!! I will never take my family here again or have a function here. You can tell that we were being racially profiled by the staff. It's sad that I'm 2021 that people can't be decent to one another.

Yelp
Wedding May 2021. Everything came together beautifully. Not much communication, but they take care of everything and was very accommodating. Staff was great, everyone enjoyed the food of the brunch wedding.

Yelp
This place is so underwhelming!!! I know that this is a popular venue for events but they are lacking on so many levels. I have been there for various events on a few occasions and they haven't made any improvements since my first event in 2013. Here are the things that are lacking. 1. They don't accept debit/credit cards, it's 2016, how do you not have access to the square or anything? It just doesn't make sense that they are cash only. 2. If you are cash only then you should have an ATM on site and unfortunately there is no ATM on site. In fact the closest ATM is across the street in the Rite Aid and mind you the street is a highway so not very safe to cross! 3. Boxed wine!!! Granted the pours are generous but boxed wine??? I mean come on! 4. Canned mushrooms and veggies. Every event I have attended has been a buffet and while I am not usually a fan of buffets, serving canned vegetables is just lazy and not tasty. Overall, these are simple changes that could be made but even if they don't make the changes, I hope these four things help prepare you for what you are going to experience.

Yelp
I had my sons wedding at the Bleus on the water. It was a really nice wedding except for the fact that I paid 535 for a premium ice cream bar. There was no ice cream so I asked about it.  They put out a 5 gallon container or ice cream in a cooling box and a scooper. I called to complain about it about 7 times and always got the same 'someone will call you back'. When I got hold of the owner (about an hour an 10 calls later) he yelled at me and said I should be happy with what I got. He actually yelled and berated me and I said I want the difference back on the 535 dollars and what you paid for for the 5 gallons. He would not let me talk, cut me off and said I deserve nothing because things are more expensive and I'm lucky he didn't raise his rates after I signed the contract. Never have I been talked to like that ever. I guess they make you pay cash or a cashiers check so you can't cancel the charge on your credit card. I will be contacting an attorney. Please do give him the business he doesn't deserve it and treats women like crap-and is a bully

Yelp
My wife and I have been to two public events here, New Years eve, and another. Both events were well attended, but the staff kept up with tables and were very attentive. The Buffet offerings had good vareity. The most amazing item were thier jumbo crab cakes, very little filling and contained large pieces of crab meat. The carved beef was tender. Desserts pulled me right off the Diet! While my preference is not these types of mass dining events, of the places I have gone , this is heads above the the typical place. even though the decor is a bit dated.

Yelp
Do NOT have your wedding here. Terrible customer service and the owner and management is extremely rude. Expresses concerns after my event just to be completely blown off. Avoid the headache and stress at all costs.
google avatar

Erica J.

Yelp
We came here for our company holiday party. When you walked in the room was huge. There were drink and food stations in every corner of the room so you didn't have to wait long at all. There was a photo booth on one end and the dj on the end of the center by the dance floor. The staff was friendly and the food was yummy!

Yelp
Pick another venue.... the customer service is extremely poor...they are only about money.... The price isnt worth it...My wedding was scheduled 8 months in advance and in the last 30 days they squeezed another wedding ahead of mine by 30 minutes causing mine to run late by over an hour !!!! This is after the coordinator lied and said the blocks were hourly because I inquired to be sure something like this wouldn't happen.....during my food tasting they had the nerve to set the other girl at my table which is how I found out they overbooked us! The little witch was gloating about knowing the owner or someone when I asked her why her time was so close!! She kept laughing because she knew she basically had taken my slot. She made a smart comment about I would have to clean up after her, I ignored it but I shouldn't have...she came in and decorated alright... On the day of ....after running an hour late they started rushing me down the aisle but the tacky witch ahead of me nor the staff bothered to clean up her decorations causing me to have pictures with her crap in all of them!!!! Can't replace those!!! They rushed everything despite we were the last event which I couldn't understand!!!! I was so upset! Oh FYI....The bridal suites are next to the men's bathroom and the door was malfunctioning so one of my bridesmaids had to cover the door just so we could do pictures without some dude busting in looking for the toilet! They won't let bridesmaids change there so be ready for a lot of side eyes from your friends because there's plenty of room and no reason not too! They also had some type of auction in another ball room or something going on the same day so it was loud and full of people, loud music, and almost no parking! In a nut shell....spend the extra money for a location with good scheduling practices, modern facilities, and professional staff that dont disregard policies, and host one event at a time...u will be so glad you avoided this place!

Yelp
Attended a wedding reception there on Saturday. My findings: *Facility is dirty and smelled musty. *Food was served 2 1/2 hours after reception started. Everyone was starving! *hor d'oeuvres were served at the same time the dinner was being served. Not acceptable. I will not be having my wedding reception there.

Yelp
Went here on feb 15 the for a bull n oyster roast n was deeply disappointed. The only thing I can say good about the night was the band. The food was horrible n little of it. The only had half the menu that was suppose to be out. The bar set up was very limited n watered down. Luckily we brought in our own drinks. I would not recommend this venue to anyone for anything. I will not be attending next year if its held there again...

Yelp
Last night my husband and I held a vow renewal celebration reception at La Fontaine Bleue. The staff was very easy to work with and the staff at the event was professional, courteous and treated everyone as if they were royalty (to include our DJ!) The place was elegant, clean and took our breath away. It turned out like a dream. Many of our guests were blown away with how beautiful it was. Best of all, it was all their doing. We chose what we wanted and that was it. They are truly professionals at planning and even more so at delivering. Thank you all for giving not only my husband and I are night to remember but for making it perfection!

Yelp
A college buddy of mine recently held his wedding reception here. LFB is sketchy looking from the outside since it's in the middle of a strip mall but once inside I was surprised to find a welcoming interior. The decor is a tad outdated but it's clean and well-maintained. The food served at the reception was pretty good. There was an assortment of appetizers we could serve ourselves before dinner was served, including crab cakes, chicken skewers, chili, and fruit. I ate about 10 of the mini crab cakes, as well as tomato bruschetta, which I really liked since it had a bit of spiciness. During the seated dinner, the entree served was boneless stuffed chicken breast with gravy, salmon medallions with an apricot soy glaze, and veggies. It was very filling and tasty- I especially liked the chicken. For dessert, there was lemon and vanilla cake which was amazing! As full as I was, I polished off my entire slice. My date, who is a cake addict, literally took five pieces home with him it was so good! A couple of minor complaints- the garden salad was drenched in dressing and only one water pitcher was provided for a table of eight.

Yelp
During an event we waited an hour for service and still never got anything. Bar tender kept walking away from everyone to go in the back. This place sucks, people working here are disorganized and don't give a f.

Yelp
Hey ladies do me a favor and please never have a wedding here I had the great opportunity to host my wedding here and even though the wedding did go off and there was definitely problems the food was cold my event planner also did not give two s**** on how many people were coming and issues we were having with that about hosting the wedding in the chapel also the bakery that they use I would recommend not using theirs I asked for gold icing on a plain cream cake or white cake and I received orange icing that looked really shity our photographer had to use black and white photos while we were doing the cake cutting photos.

As a vendor, we have had the opportunity to provide services at this venue. From the "behind the scenes" perspective, it is clear that the team at this venue are genuine people who do put great effort into providing the very best experience for their clients. ~ Picture Perfect Muzic LLC

Yelp
UNPROFESSIONAL THEFTS!! STAFF LITERALLY STOLE FROM THE BRIDE'S PURSE! My friend had a wedding here last night! While she and her husband looked amazing, the staff was horrible and the their actions nearly ruined our experience. Their ceremony started late because the Maitre D was delayed in prep work for the cocktail hour, so she rudely approached the ceremony coordinator and started an argument. This delayed the start by 15 minutes. At the reception, a couple of people sat who were not invited... the Maitre D picked up the mic and said "if you didn't RSVP, then you need to leave." This was unprofessional and tacky! As an Event Coordinator, I, and members of the family were deeply disgusted by this action. After five minutes passed and no action, she picked up the mic and repeated her statement. She then removed the hor d'oeuvres table while the Bride's aunt (in her 60s) was getting her plate. She literally rolled the table away, mid-serve, and told her aunt, "she wasn't getting anything." The hor d'oeuvres table was never returned. Wasted food and wasted money! On top of that.... it took another 25 minutes to accommodate the overage. We all now there is a chance of overage at a wedding. You plan for it! And they, mistakenly did not. It's a RULE OF THUMB! But to put the icing on the cake, a staffer, the Maitre D's nephew, stole over $300 from my friend's purse. They had a whole scheme going. She relieved the bartender, while the bride's purse was "secure" and the money disappeared. Why would a teenage staffer be behind the bar! Yes, a teenage staffer stole money from a purse that was behind the BAR! But the Maitre was involved. She charged at the bride - after the staffer took the money out of his pocket to return to the Bride - and attempted to snatch the money out of the Bride's hand. The police were called. Money was returned. And, luckily the Bride and Groom woke up happy and in love! But if you are considering this a place for your wedding! I URGE you to keep looking!

Yelp
Bring you Administrative Assistant Day! How awesome was this event. Food was delicious and the staff was so inviting. The facility was Gorgeous! Please don't sleep on this venue. They have some much to offer. My assistant had a great time and we got to see a glimpse of what they had to offer their guest.

Yelp
Skip this place for reservation people really screw up for the Thanksgiving buffet yesterday. they did not map the tables or make the changes correctly on their own maps. Spend over 20 minutes for the hostess to find our table. No apology was given. Sucks ¡ better off going else where. Crab cakes were mostly stovetop stuffing with little crabmeat at buffet. Very expensive for overcrowd of tables hence constantly distract of bus persons bumping in my chair and family. Mind u, we are thin people. We find another place for all holidays.

Mary W.

Yelp
Crab fest! It was a wonderful night! Live music from Clay Hunts New Censation with music from the fifties to Bruno Mars. Bar was your basic set up with only Coors light and boxed wine, and some liquors. Buffet opened with good selections, and then at 8:30 they brought around trays of crabs and serve them onto your table. Consuelo did a great job with a smile all night! Lots of desserts. For the money it was a good deal! If you're a high maintenance personality stay home. And best of all were the people attending, the fun and love through out the rooms from all walks of life.

Yelp
Disappointing at best. Went in and it seemed as if I was bothering them. Nothing friendly at all and I am assuming just plain lack of management. The carrot cake was pretty good, but the rest of the bakery items were not very good. The place was empty mid-day - maybe others are onto this as well. With lack of decent service/hospitality - I will not return.

Yelp
My family has traditionally gone to La Fontaine Blue for Thanksgiving Dinner, and sometimes Easter as well. The past few years the food and service have declined. This Thanksgiving they had ONE turkey carving station for the entire ball room with TWO lines feeding up to it. You had to pick up your plate at the vegetables tables then go stand in one of the horribly long, slow moving lines to wait for your turkey and gravy. By the time we got back to our table with our plates the vegetables were cold. Not lukewarm, just stone cold. The green bean casserole was a milky/soupy mess with beans floating in it - no crunchy topping. Two years running we had to repeatedly ask our server for a pitcher of unsweetened tea. This year we were told they "don't have any" even though tea is listed on the Buffet menu. After asking her what do they have that diabetics can drink she finally produced a pitcher of unsweetened tea a full 1/2 hour after we first asked for one. The year prior we finally gave up on our server ever showing up at our table and we ended up getting a pitcher of coke from the bar, which was another line to stand in. The diabetics had to settle for water. The so called "jumbo crab cakes" were only slightly bigger than the golfball size crab balls they offered last year. By the time we got around to the dessert table there was nothing but butchered up crumbs and a bunch of empty plates left. Not one server in sight at the dessert table to clean up the mess or replenish it. The food and service have really gone downhill year after year while the price tag per ticket has gone up and up. We will definitely NOT be returning to this venue ever again. Time to scout out a new family tradition!

I went to the Puerto Rican Gala on Saturday 11/17/2018. The lady at the front door in a burgundy dress was totally disrespectful! She told me I was at table 11. When I went out to the room, there was no table 11. She the proceeded to say "that's what you get when you purchase a ticket late". As a lady that is a daughter of a Puerto Rican man and is also African American, I was appalled! That wasn't the first rude thing she did all night, she was equally as rambunctious to other guests!

Yelp
We made an appointment to tour the venue for our wedding, and the organizer never showed! Double checked the date and time, and definitely missed the appointment. No phone call or apology. Very disappointing!

Yelp
We've been hosting an event here for over 15 years on the same date...this year we haven't decided to return and not one person on their management staff has reached out to our organization to inquire as to whether or not we are returning. ..an event that brings in over 800 ppl annually. No fighting in all of these years...no unruliness at all and yet no calls or inquiries...not sure if it's the owner or management but it's poor business to not reach out to recurring business.

Yelp
I went here a couple of months ago for a masonic event and it's ok. I only have Martin's Crosswinds & Martin's West to compare it to & honestly it is not at that caliber just yet, but they are easily on their way. Now where they are ahead of that is they are connected to I believe what is a stand alone bar & restaurant. Their parking lot is adequate for those that plan to attend & it's nice. As it pertains to their crabs, they are really good, but they need to bring them out quicker & bring out an average of 3 crabs per person instead of 2. Maryland people want their crabs & they want it now lol.

Yelp
Food was good. Crab dip was weird came with cubes of bread that were like croutons. Cream spinach was amazing. A lot of chicken on the menu

Yelp
Perhaps my visit/s to this place is off-the-wall due to the planning and arrangements made by the person who reserved it for a wedding banquet. First of all the food was good and yet highly entertaining from how it was presented. In came two servers with the cheese and crackers announcing proudly. "This is the famous La Fontaine Bleue cheese cart. Now while the cheese was good, by the time the cart reached my table most of it had been devoured by the obese in-laws on the groom's side. No extra cheese was brought out. So it went with the salad(once more we were treated to the announcement by the same pair as they tossed a few shreds of lettuce over the bowl). This time, a bit more was left in the bowl, and they did bring more out. The main dishes were brought out, though obviously a few extra folks had come and ended up taking portions meant for the wedding party. Last, was the dessert tray, and the same announcement-the desserts looked plentiful. It looked as if we all might enjoy the famous desserts, then it was taken away-as we were reminded that our only dessert was the wedding cake. I was ready to really slam this place until i returned a month later for another event. So clearly, everyone who reads these Yelp reviews. La Fontaine Bleue does provide catering, however, varying degrees based on the person who reserved the place, and what they were willing to spend. My second visit was great, in addition, there was none of the announcements about the food. So, if going to this place, be sure whoever invited you is someone of good character, and that they know how to set up a venue like this. If they are, you will have a great time, if not, you might end up with my first experience. Let's hope not, it's a nice place, clean, friendly staff.

Yelp
We had our wedding here on May 24, 2014. We met our consultant (Tracye) in April of 2013. From the very beginning she was wonderful. I emailed her my questions/concerns the entire year up until my wedding. She made sure what can be a stressful time for some brides a very enjoyable event. She always had time for me and never made me feel like a pest (even though I personally felt I was being a pest). Not only would I recommend LFB to my family and friends, but I would also recommend they request Tracye as their coordinator. She was wonderful. I was later introduced to Rhonda who made sure all the details I wanted to include in the wedding would be carried out. She was great! She even made suggestions I would never have thought of. When the day of my rehearsal came, the reverend that was supposed to marry us demanded an additional $400. This happened 2 days prior to the wedding and we already had a set price months prior. I had a lot of communication with him and he never mentioned needed more money. When I found this out I walked away from the reverend and cried. Along with my family and friends comforting me, the LFB staff (Rhonda, Randal and Terri) were comforting me as well. They found another minister on the spot who was available to conduct my ceremony that upcoming Saturday. I was more than relieved. The day of the wedding I was still being helped by Rhonda and the maitre' d' (whom I can't remember her name. Everything was great from the beginning with Tracye to the end with Rhonda and the maitre d'. Everything was very reasonably priced for all that I received and I don't think I would have gotten the same service from any other venue.

Yelp
During main service, I asked for Ketchup and never got it. After main service, our server disappeared. I had to go find her to cash out. Hopefully, this is an anomaly.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of going here last night. I have to say that I'm impressed with the decor classy style! This will be a great place for people from the Anne Arundel Courthouse in Glen Burnie to go. They not only have sit down service but they have Carryout. That is an excellent idea! Now to our service...it was VERY, VERY slow!! Our server kept coming back within a matter of minutes to ask if we were ready to order. Clearly we weren't because we all were still looking at our menus, once we ordered he didn't seem to know the menu all that well, had no clue what kind of alcohol they carried and once served they mixed up our orders (food on the plates). I have to say I ordered something I felt safe with; cream of crab soup and Caesar salad. Both were very good I tend to like my cream of crab soup a bit thicker but it tasted great and had HUGE chunks of crab meat in it!! My husband and one of our friends ordered Country Fried Steak which they said was good and my best friend got the Penne Pasta alla Baltimore which had a cream base, cheese and again HUGE chunks of crab meat in it. I tasted her meal and I will definitely order this next time!! I know this is a BRAND SPANKING NEW place and a different venue for the owners of LaFountaine Bleu but when opening a place service is key which I am sure as time goes by they will become more proficient. I will probably change my rating once we have gone there a few more times for dinner as it will give them time to get things together. I DO RECOMMEND this place and I take into consideration that they are really super new and are doing their utmost best!! It was nice that the owner of the Bistro and LaFountaine Bleu stopped by all the tables to talk and to see how we all liked our meals. He even said this was a new venue for him, it's nice to see and talk to the owners, gives you a nice feeling!!

Yelp
Prices are reasonable. Food is very good! Plenty of parking. I enjoy the Jazz brunch on Sundays, great place to take the family.

Yelp
Me and several Friends stop by this bistro for an evening of music and eating. The music was great the service and food was simply awful. We arrived at approximately 630 and it was 830 by the time we got our salads. Many of the items that were on the menu they were out of. The management was aware of the problems and kept throwing rounds of drinks at us and offering to comp. portions of the meal. They claim that they're the new owners and are running into cleanup issues from the prior management. I don't recommend this restaurant at least until this new management team has a chance to reorganize and clean the place up functionally.

Yelp
I attended a wedding here and this place is just blah. If you are going use LFB use the Lahnam location. Their "outdoor venue" looked like a miniature golf course. Do not waste your money here if they are charging you more than $40 a person run away. I felt bad for the couple hosting the wedding.
