We visited La Fontana on a Tuesday and loved the deal they had, pane e vino for only $4.99! The service was amazing; Luna was very attentive and made our experience even better. The Cacio e pepe is a must-try, super flavorful and perfectly made. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

Very authentic Italian cuisine! Everything was delicious, tasteful, fresh and creamy! We are definitely going back to try all the traditional dishes and pizzas! Maria Jose and Carlos have been excellent servers!

La Fontana is the perfect choice for a date night! The atmosphere is very romantic and dimly lit, the service was amazing! Ziad and Adriana were very attentive and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend coming and ordering the Vodka and Carbonara Pastas, as well as the Milanesas!

Pizza was very fresh. Sauce was great. I did order through Uber eats and can say I’m interested in actually eating it there and seeing how much better it is in person. They had a nice BOGO offer on Uber eats as well.

We arrived about 5:30 on a Friday and were seated immediately. By the time we left the restaurant was fairly full though. Our server was very nice and got our drinks and order promptly. She checked in us periodically throughout our meal. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. Well lit, not dark. The food was excellent. We ordered bread which came with a chive butter (?) an Olive oil garlic mixture and a mild white soft cheese (like crème fresh kind of consistency). But the highlight of the pre meal was the fried cheese. Came with ham de iberica and greens and some candied pecans or walnuts. My spaghetti al carbona was just a tad dry. But the flavor was spot on. My mates both said their meal was excellent (gnocchi and chicken pecati I think). I will definitely return. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious.

The pizza is crazy good. Very unique flavors and they are really big. My friend & i each ordered a pizza. We ended up sharing & taking 3 slices home each. The service was excellent as well. Very attentive & kind servers. I will be returning to try the other items on the menu.

Overall a great restaurant! Ambience is nice and trendy with a DJ playing nice house music. Their chairs are comfortable and the place is good for a couple, group of friends and family. They have pasta platter and risotto platter so this is perfect for people who want to try a little bit of everything! Everything we ordered tasted great but the most memorable for me was their fried burrata!! It was so delicious and so different from the regular burrata dish!!! I couldn't have it enough!!!! We were not so impressed with their lobster bisque and pesto risotto. We had an excellent server who was very attentive throughout our dinner (I believe her name was Yani)

This is our first time at this establishment, our waiter. Carlos was very good and knowledgeable of the many items on the menu. We had delicious bread, a very nice appetizer and wonderful entrées. My husband wanted to eat pizza for his bday, but he also wanted to go someplace nice. So I was on the search for someplace that would have both. Enter - La Fontana! Though somewhat small and intimate, this Italian restaurant was beautiful and had amazing food! We got a beautiful selfie on a flower arch at the entrance to their outdoor terrace. And the inside had beautiful, fun, modern decor. We agreed the food was great! We started with the Antipasto and the bread service. The Antipasto was huge and so good. The bread came with three different spreads/ dips for the bread, and the bread was so soft. For our meals we had the Pizza Rústica, Risotto ai Funghi, and the kids chicken tenders. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty! My husband liked the pizza. Though he thought it could have used more sauce, he thought the crust was really good. My risotto was creamy and flavorful, and some of the mushrooms were crispy which added some good texture to the dish. For dessert we had the Pistachio Tres Leches which was soft, creamy, and delicious!! When they sing happy birthday, they have this loud music and a laser light thing throughout the restaurant. It was very unique and fun, but my toddler had a meltdown as soon as it ended (I think it shocked her bc it did sort of catch all of us off guard). I thought it was super cool otherwise though, and I noticed when they brought my husband's dessert they only did the laser thing for a few seconds which I assume was bc of our toddler which I thought was thoughtful. Anyway, great food and great experience. The service was amazing as well. Highly recommend! *one note... I only knew they had pizza on the menu bc I had seen previous yelpers mention it, but it wasn't on the menu. I asked our server and it turned out they did have pizza on a somewhat more extended menu we could access through the QR code at our table.

never disappoints I really like to come here when I'm craving pasta and the ambience is really nice. The place is pretty. The pasta Alla Routa was a little bit too cheese for me this time. And I discovered that the Tagliatelle alle vongole was unexpectedly tasty. A lot of olive oil at the end. But good overall.

Everything was absolutely disgusting. From the food (everything was wilted and dehydrated) to some serious "I don't really give a shit if you like it here," this place was far and wrong no matter which way you look at it. RUN THE OTHER WAY, it doesn't matter which way because you couldn't do worse...ya es hora de empacarlo todo e irse tan malo que es este lugar. Negative 100. Shame on you.

The quality of Italian food at this restaurant is unquestionable. We went for their special Monday offer "All You Can Slice." Which features an all you care to enjoy selection of salad, bruschettas, pizzas, pastas, risotto, and some desserts. It's all served in small plates which are shareable, perfect to get a good tasting of their flavors. We arrived at opening without a reservation and were sat right away. Our server was also very nice. The concept of all you care to enjoy is very innovative, however, you could only eat foods from the same tier as the rest of the table. You could not mix and match, (You could not order a salad and pasta together, you either tried all the salads, or the pasta, not both simultaneously) which was kind of annoying. But I can see why they do it. The reason why I gave this restaurant three stars has do to with logistics. It was very apparent that they were understaffed for the amount of costumers. The food took forever to get to our table. We were a table of two, and we sat at that restaurant from 6 pm until 9pm. We waited what felt like 45 minutes for just a slice of pizza. Not an individual-serving sized pizza, a mere slice. I don't think it's okay to have a three hour dinning experience, especially when the majority was spent waiting for the food or waiting to order the food. We didn't anticipate to be there for that long, which interfered with other plans we had made after dinner and lost our money. The outdoor area where the all you care to enjoy is held is cute cozy, but it's very small and gets crowded. On top of that there's also a Dj which plays good music, but combined with the tight space really makes it difficult to converse. Bottom line, food is tasty, no doubt. The flavor is definitely there! But come armed with a side of patience.

I happened to be in doral yesterday and stumbled upon this hidden gem. What a wonderful place! The service was excellent - ambiance was really nice - and the food was delicious. We had the chicken Alfredo pasta, which was yo die for. We also had a chicken Parmesan which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! The Linda lasagna was so flavorful. The fresh baked pizza smells so good! The Milanese Parmesan was huge and cooked to perfection. I've been wanting to eat here for some time. We went on a Sunday for lunch and sat outside at a very cute terrace. I believe they were short staffed that day. Our server was very friendly, took our drink order and ordered the artisanal bread. Probably 30 minutes passed and we still had nothing. After we asked they brought and were very apologetic. We ordered pasta, pizza and a burger. We had issues with 2 of the 3. I don't want to get into details since I truly believe there was a staffing issue. But after waiting so long for everything it was pretty frustrating. I sent one meal back and asked for it to be removed from the bill. Honestly they agreed and were very nice about it. He really tried to correct it. They also gave us a dessert that was AMAZING, pistachio tres leches !! I will not let one bad day ruin my experience and will absolutely give it another try because of the great service. Also, the pizza was soooo good!

Presentation was awesome with the big cheese wheel. Food and service was A1! This was my first time trying the big cheese wheel and now I am hooked! If you are in the Doral area you gotta check them out.

I ordered food delivery from . More than half my order was not delivered. Additionally, my order had a special for buy one get one free for pizza and for Alfredo Linguini. I was charged for two pizzas and 2 Alfredo linguinis. I requested a refund and was not reimbursed in full. The food that was delivered was subpar with no taste. Total disappointment.

Absolutely love this place! The staff was really friendly and patient. We were a table of 6 people and they kept up with us and remained patient and polite! We ordered the bread plate and the pear salad and got a delicious red wine to start! We tried several dishes and they were absolutely delicious! We also got the tomahawk special and it came with a side of 3 pastas which were all delicious and definitely worth the price. The music was light and lovely and the overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice. I'm definitely going back there!!

Decided to give this place a try again after almost 5 years - it was a little better than our first attempt, but still not up to par. Service was good, definitely better than our last try years ago. But food was mediocre. Most of the appetizers were fine but my chicken piccata consisted of 2 grilled chicken breasts with some capers on top. There was a little bit of a lemon sauce, but that was it. I felt like I was just eating grilled chicken. Nothing like any other chicken piccatas I have had in various other Italian restaurants. I do think people can give this place a try, but we probably will not return, not even in another 5 years LOL

Come with me to La Fontana Ristorante, located in Doral. La Fontana offers a variety of Italian dishes that sound so good you'll want to try them all. On this visit we started with drinks, I had the White Sangria and my friend had a glass of Chardonnay. We ordered the Fried Calamari as our appetizer, it was cooked to a perfect crisp and served with their house-made Tartar Sauce and Pomodoro. For our mains we couldn't decide between all their delicious pasta options so we each ordered one and shared. I ordered the Carbonara on linguine and she ordered the pasta Quattro Formaggi on tagliatelle, both were scrumptious. Overall, La Fontana was delicious and the service was great.

The vibe was nice and quaint and the food was amazing. We had the osso bucco and the mushroom risotto. Check the specials menu for special drink prices. We went here for our anniversary and it was perfect.

Called the restaurant to confirm address due to website not matching the Uber address and I was yelled at for speaking English and they hung up on me. Called again and they hung up on me again. We still went due to good friends having such a good experience. We did have a nice time and hostess was lovely and service was good. Food was good but we may try other options if came again. Enjoyed the presentation of the Parmesan pasta but would likely prefer another dish with less strong flavor

False advertising. I suspect there must have been a change in ownership. Meals did not match their company website's pictures and were poorly cooked. For example, the lasagna was so overcooked, that without a knife, it was not possible to cut. Since only 3 other customers there at a peak time, we should have known better and not stayed.

La Fontana has been our go to Italian spot in Doral for quite a while now and they have yet to disappoint. We started eating here when it was just a restaurant but since then they have expanded to the parking lot and outside area as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant was pretty busy the whole time we were there which is always a good sign. The focaccia bread was soft and delicious and we ordered to sangrias to drink. They were strong and you could taste the alcohol. For the main meal my wife ordered the carbonara with extra sauce and I ordered the pepperoni pizza. If you like your pasta to be a little bit more creamy I recommend adding extra sauce to it, they do charge you for it but it's worth it and you can use the focaccia bread to make sure there's no sauce left on the plate. The pepperoni pizza was delicious also and made in a brick oven in the kitchen. The crust was cooked perfectly and not burnt. It is a pretty decent size and I would say you could share the pizza amongst two people. The servers are very attentive to make sure the water on the table was full and that we didn't need anything throughout the night. As I mentioned in the beginning we have been here multiple times and have always have a great experience. Definitely give them a try if you are in Doral looking for a good spot

Si el trago dice un precio porque al final al pagar te cargan un 18% más por el alcohol? No hay ninguna advertencia por el cargo extra en el alcohol, me siento estafada, por 2 personas pagar $350 es demasiado!!! Definitivamente no vuelvo a ese restaurante..

We came to La Fontana for dinner about a week ago and the food and ambiance was pretty good. The place is nice and clean and the service was ok but since food was good I'm giving it a 4 star rating instead of 3.

So, we didn't want to do this... but, we are extremely disappointed at our experience here. We ordered appetizers for 4 people which were the highlights of our entire experience. The main entréis were a disappointment. The Fiorentina Especial was huge and shared by our friends who were celebrating their 8 year anniversary. We all tried it and the meat was so bland, the three pasta side dishes that came with it were better than the entire steak itself. Also, the Milanese parmigiana that my husband ordered was a complete disgrace to the name. It was the size of a kids chicken breast and as thin as paper. I was expecting a lot more from this place on a Sunday night. The service was good. Nothing bad to say there. I just hope they figure it out because the food was horrible. We don't care about paying the amount in which the restaurant wishes to price their food/drinks. But make it worth it.

To be fair, I've never heard of this restaurant. My dad brought it up while he was in town and seeing as it was 30 min away from my house and the 3 star avg I was hesitant. My dad heard of this place because Jaime Bayly, a Peruvian journalist is known to dine here. We stopped by for lunch and was surprised to see it busy! We were seated right away, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have weekly lunch specials that looked really tasty so I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my dad ordered the beef Alfredo dish. We also got bread and the minestrone soup to start. The soup was very filling and not as brothy as I thought. The bread was really tasty and is made in-house and served with marinara sauce on the side. My chicken parm was delicious but what stood out was the Alfredo pasta I was served. It was sinfully creamy, I will dream about it for days. Side note, I saw a guy with a huge cheese wheel mixing pasta in it, this place is legit!

Family restaurant in the doral area offering quality Italian food. The staff is helpful and they always work quick. The shrimp over risotto is one of my fav plates to order. Risotto is perfectly cooked and the shrimp tastes like quality seafood. The prices are fair and the menu has many options for whatever you might be in the mood for. Located in a shopping center there's plenty of parking and they also offer valet. Well recommended!

First time because my son birthday , they sand happy birthday to him ,which is nice ,the food was fine but not the same to my wife. A little expense but was fine .

My family made reservations for a table of 10 & when we arrived we were seated promptly to our table. We started ordering drinks, i and my brother & sister in law as well as my cousin ordered mojito which I highly recommend as it had shaved ice on top & tasted amazing compared to other mojitos that I have had before. I ordered pasta alla ruota where they mix hot pasta on top of a cheese wheel which they normally do it in front of you but they mixed it in the back due to covid from what they told me. My dish was good it was thick & cheesy but not so creamy & I asked for shrimp to be added to my pasta which made it good (protein options: chicken, steak, shrimp, mushrooms...). My cousin next to me ordered pizza Hawaiian which I had a slice of & it was thin & slightly burnt but it was good. The food arrival time took very long which felt like an hour wait while we were at our table drinking & chatting. The waiters I believe there were two different people & one woman were serving us. I wish they knew who ordered what or at least say something because they gave my drink to the wrong person who never ordered it which I got back but wish they spoke up instead of assuming. Anyways if you have patience this is your place & the food was good not great just good in my opinion but drinks I do recommend especially mojitos. There's a valet parking near them which we avoided & parked in front of them where it's free lol The bathrooms are clean where they have one man's & one woman's restroom down the hallway to the Left.

11/9/2022 - La Fontana was close to our hotel is why we decided to eat there. I was in the mood for pizza. Being an Italian restaurant I would think their pizza options would be greater then it is. I was disappointed. We ordered the fried calamari for our appetizer. They were salty and hard to chew. They also had no crunch. A batter issue as well. When you look at the photos you'll see why $37.00 this small piece of beef tenderloin is ridiculous. The soy based sauce too wasn't tasty to me. The mashed potatoes didn't have enough butter or salt. Very bland. The Fontana burger was great. We liked it a lot. The bread was a sour dough bread. It worked for the burger. I enjoyed it. The fries were crispy enough. I do like the ambiance of the restaurant. Cozy. The atmosphere is one you will enjoy. What you might not enjoy is what we experience is our food coming out the kitchen in a time that wasn't reasonable. It wasn't busy, so there wasn't an excuse to me. Now, I live in Boston. Our receipt shows a Tourist Tax of 1%. I lived in Miami 9 months last year, visit often enough. What is a tourist tax? And what if I lived around the corner? Do locals pay that same tax? Would I eat here again? NO! Happy Eats

Y termino con una estrella por que habian cucarachas literal 4 o 5 caminando en las paredes del patio por el televisor y las neveras . La estabamos pasando espectacular. Habiamos comido delicioso y Cuando ya casi terminando a una de mis amigas le volo una cucaracha voladora en la cabeza y a otra el el cinturon de su pantalon. Despues del desastre de las cucarachas nos pasamos para dentro. A cantar el happy Birthday y aunque fue una noche excepcional, yo a ese restaurante no vuelvo. Creo de verdad que tienen una infestacion de cucarachas.

I'm giving it a three since it's way over priced. The average pasta dish is over $30! Pasta is so inexpensive! The food is actually very good but hard to come back for a second visit. You won't be disappointed in food and service as long as your rich! They can easily bring down prices $10 and do multiple repeat business. It's not Coral Gables, where it's expected. Don't be surprised.

Sorry to have to do this but this restaurant has gone bad the menu is horrible for dinner I have been going here long time it was always amazing they now have taken staple dishes off the dinner menu like chicken parm and even Alfredo even chicken Alfredo and simple steaks you are over reaching for the neighborhood you are in the restaurant was empty it was always full and good vibes and service now your going beyond regular customers and the great dishes you had the pizza was not even available you need to realize sometimes simple and great are one and the same people want flavor and consistent not over priced and complicated the reviews on line look fake I assure you all this is real I sincerely hope the staff will change this menu best of luck my family will not be back till you change this horrible menu we ended up walking out and going to divitos down the street where it's simple good and consistent you have got to think about your customer base first it's better to have ten meals served than three I'm sure your waiters can understand this consistent customers and repeat customer pay the bills not one time party meals I'm not saying you need to be Pizza Hut but take a lesson from Divitos and others that are packed with customer most are repeats

Spectacular food! Everything was fresh, tasty & served with care...... from our amazing appetizer up until the very end with our dessert. Drinks were tasty, service was on point & the location was small & private- really loved that. Took my husband for his bday as he wanted authentic Italian cuisine & so I made sure to deliver. I went with my girlfriend. Beautiful place inside. But food is a different story. First let's start off with the drinks but that was the only good things here. The Bellini here was amazing 10/10. Best Bellini I ever had. The calamari was regular as hell 4/10. Bonefish has better calamari than this place. The pasta was disrespectful. If you are judging it from home made pasta standard, it was 4/10. If you judging it from a restaurant standard, this was 2/10. Olive garden's has better pasta than this place. When was eating the pasta felt like I was eating prego sauce and regular ass pasta. Very sad! Then let's get to the pizza. Let's just say it was 3/10 for restaurant standard!!! All and all just get drunk here off of bellini's!!! That was amazing!!! Then get food somewhere else!!! I gave it two star because of the Bellini. Whoever was bartending dec 19 2020 in the night. You need to keep them.

Terrible experience from the start. We went on a Friday evening, for my husband's birthday dinner. Only valet parking allowed in their parking lot so you'll have to find parking elsewhere. Our server was painfully slow. She disappeared for a majority of our time there. We all ran out of water and had to go up to the counter to ask for more. My husband asked for a macchiato (coffee) but never received it. The $28 lasagna literally had one noodle and burnt cheese. The rest was meat. 18% gratuity is already added, so be aware. Plus a tourist tax (even though we aren't tourists). We will not be returning here again.

I don't usually venture out to Doral, but for this restaurant I totally will. Perfect for any occasion and party size. The place is cutely decorated and the have a bar as well. The service here is also great and the food is out of this world. You must have the veal Milanese. It was perfectly cooked. The carbonara was also delicious. One of the best ones I've had. For dessert, the tiramisu is a must.

The pasta was perfect there made I house and you can tell the difference. Nice day out with my daughter.

Outstanding Italian Ristorante with Great Happy Hour Specials, hearty well made food set in a warm inviting ambiance that leaves me satisfied. Featuring a delicious wine list, we took advantage of 50% off bottles during happy hour, which I highly recommend. Bread service is outstanding. Pasta was also very good. Will return to this great place.
