La Fourchette du Printemps

"In this elegant little neighbourhood bistro, the young chef has come through some top establishments. He hones the taste of quality ingredients (the menu evolves according to the market), and takes pleasure in revisiting the classics. A good place." - Michelin Inspector

The experience was delightful. The ambiance of the place is great, intimate and warm. I went with a friend on a Tuesday night and the small place was not full. The waitress there took care of all of us and gave us great service while also chatting with us. All the patrons were respectful and friendly and given the size of the place that is a great answer. The food excellent and beautifully presented, especially the dessert. The food is very French and I loved it. A beautiful place to retreat to and enjoy a nice dining experience.

Super fab place Booked this place in last minutes and not disappointed at all. Super cute restaurant with perfect service and delicious food. I have never been in Michelin restaurants before but it was unreal experience. The lady who met us at the entrance was really professional and involved in her business. She provided amazing service and a nice atmosphere, was very attentive to details and looked after us all the time. The food was incredible, the chef Nicolas was really nice and shy, his food ideas and presentation are simply amazing. I’m still fully shocked about one of the starter and dessert, I’m really a big fan of the asparagus but I have never tried smth that simply and the same time good in my life. I still can feel the taste in my mouth, this dish was extremely simple but absolutely fabulous. And the dessert with the sphere was very beautiful, it’s good, impressive show for lovers of beautiful presentation. I was pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend to visit this place. Absolutely needs a second star.

A special place. A small quiet restaurant in a lovely area. The food was original and superb. Husband and wife team with great effect. Should be 2 Michelin stars.

A secluded corner in the hustle and bustle city life. Penny-worth cuisines and cordial service. I would definitely like to come back to try more Cher’s master cooking and the genial service.

This place is a hidden gem in the 17th. The food and ambiance are top notch. Small and cozy. This one star Michelin restaurant rivals many 2 and 3 star establishments that we have visited. And the price is very reasonable. Tonight we had a delicious 6 course meal plus an amuse bouche for only €75.00. Every course was a treat. This place is not to be missed. It’s hands down our favourite Paris resto - and has been for the past 10 years.

I visited "La Fourchette du Printemps" in February and June 2015. At the time the place used to be a gourmet restaurant and I found it very good. There is a counter in the entrance area of the restaurant. On the narrow side of this counter is a tiny door through which members of the team can climb backwards over a ladder or a very steep staircase into a cellar to fetch wines from there. I have watched this delicate operation several times during my visits. The small restaurant was not so easy to reach for tourists at the time, as it is located a little away from the center and also a little away from a metro station. But I suspect that things have gotten better with today's improved public transportation services. 1|33|19

Very good and creative food with fresh products, great service. It is advised to make a reservation before, and plan for a delicate 2 / 3 hour meal :)

Excellent value/quality! At least a 1-star Michelin which is not overpriced.. and not to worry the food is really good. Artfully built plenty of perfume dishes, elegant in the palet and just the right size in the plate. The food is French, not too overworked or deconstructed, think more of a much more modernized version of classical and family dishes. The style of the room is a little bit the same, simple, not overworked, yet classy. One of my go-tos for every occasion, you'll not regret it, unless you are a snob :)

Yelp
La Fourchette du Printemps is amazing. one of the best restos in Paris. we have been coming here for ten years. And have never been disappointed. Nor have we ever left hungry. Great food and service. Lovely ambiance. And the best value for any one star establishment anywhere. On top of all this, the price is very reasonable. Tonight we had a delicious 6 course meal plus an amuse bouche for only €75.00. Every course was a treat. This place is not to be missed.

Yelp
Two words: Food Poisoning My entire table was affected. We think it was the lamb dish the chef made for dinner. Technique was amazing for every plate. The food was plated beautifully like a piece of art. As expected of a Michelin Star restaurant, they met all the expectation and I was impressed. We had the 9 course meal, and starting from the welcome plate to the surprise dessert at the end, I was very happy and impressed. Then... Thing went south immediatrly. I personally had diarrhea in the evening, and then projectile vomiting the next day. I had to get on the train to London, and I missed it because I was dying in bed. We had to get a new set of tickets to London because we couldn't make it in time in the morning. My body was aching and in cold sweats. In the train, I was vomiting every 20 minutes. I couldn't even keep water or tea down. Sad to say, it was the worst train ride of my life. I got to the hotel in London, and after few more sessions in the bathroom, I passed out. I woke up later because I had dinner reservation at the Savoy, and I missed that as well. I was supposed to go to the Malty Market and the Borough too, but I missed that because I got sick from the restaurant. Overall, this experience caused by their lack of kitchen standard costed me money, loss of opportunities, and physical pain. This is just sad... I expected so much and things were going well during dinner.

Yelp
i am very upset as i write this. my son recently graduated from rest management school. in june he was in spain completing a study abroad. he extended his trip for 3 weeks into france and italy. his goal was to eat at a variety of michelin star restaurants. much recearch on my part made us aware of this restaurant. the reviews for the most part were positive. so i made a reservation. as he has only 3 nights in paris, i called to see if another night was a possibility. i was told it was not, so i requested that the original reservation stand. that was for july 11th, at 20:30. this had been done on the phone, with who i have since learned is the owner. when my son called to see what train to take, he was told that his reservation was at 19:30 and that he missed it. i called from the states and the explanation was, "sorry, we made a mistake there is nothing we can do". my son had so been looking forward to eating at this restaurant. the owner offered no solution to this problem. NOTHING! she did say he could come next week. he is in paris until this friday. i can not tell you how dis-appionted i am with what happen. this was for a party of 1. it was her mistake, and nothing was suggested to make this right. my opinion, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! even with good food, they clearly don't know how to deal with those that pay their bills. my son's comment was, "how does a michelin rated place get away with this my answer was, "arrogance or they simply dont't care" please stay away!
