La Frida Mexican Grill & Seafood

First time here with my girlfriend, it was such an amazing experience. Our waiter was "Gilbert" and he was absolutely amazing and explained what each dish was that we were deciding between as well, checked on us multiple times and had a smile along with everyone else that worked there. Everyone who worked there even said thank you for coming and I've never had that happen. Very beautiful inside as well. The food was very impressive and plated beautifully and also tasted amazing! We will definitely be coming back to try the lunch menu soon. 10 out of 10!

I have dined that La Frida more than 15 times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every meal has been awesome. It is a fantastic dining experience Emily, who was our last waitress was awesome, have Jesus make you a specialty drink, you will never forget it.

I just posted a review, but I forgot to mention our waiter was Fernando. One of the most effective and delightful things he did was to bring us a sample of 4 sauces used in the entrees. We tried each with the chips - they were all delicious, and it helped us decide what to order. That simple yet generous gesture was much appreciated!🥰

Fernando was a fabulous server that made our first time experience excellent. Food is authentic and unique presentations on all dishes. All sauces were delicious. We will be back for mole enchiladas.

I have been to this place several times since it opened and I bring people here when they ask for really good food . The service is amazing. Maribel is a friendly and super knowledgeable! The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is absolutely incredible. On today’s visit The food was so amazing my friend and I couldn’t even talk just eat. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. The quality of everything is spectacular, the food is fresh and the drinks are great , I saw a table of women next to order like 4 rounds . My family is from Mexico City and I’m very critical of Mexican food and when I tell you, the mole was as good as my mom‘s I’m not lying. There’s is a wait but it’s so worth it ! 10000 ⭐️

We love coming to La Frida! Our mocktail was a work of art and the different food presentations are really beautiful. The staff is so attentive and then there’s the food! I’ve had the fish tacos, the tuna, the ceviche, and several other dishes and the flavors are fabulous. Most recently Gilbert was our server and he took great care of us. This is a must when dining in Tucson.

I strongly believe this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. La Frida brings simple, authentic, traditional Mexican cuisine to another level. The details in how drinks are prepared with fresh ingredients and the overwhelming flavor of their traditional dishes ; is just an amazing experience. Super great experience! The kitchen was accommodating for food allergies, the cocktails and mocktails were both good to look at and great tasting, and the servers were polite/professional. We sat at the bar and every single food item that came out of the kitchen looked amazing and we wish we could have tried. The only reason I am ranking this four is because I would like to go a couple more times and see if the quality hold up on repeat visits. The biggest downside is at the indoor space to dine in is not big at all. Be willing to wait or come in at an off time.
