Just, wow! Fantastic food that is a level or more above most local Mexican restaurants. Menu items are familiar, but each has at least one twist: an amazing sauce or a unique presentation or preparation. Service was attentive, helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back to try more of the dishes, plus they have a monthly special menu with even more excellent options. We loved our first La Frida experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently dined at La Frida and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the culinary artistry of the chefs. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable meal. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations. Overall, I can confidently say this place deserves a solid 10/10. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their amazing dishes!

Finally managed to come here with another couple, the wait time was over an hour but we expected that already and went for a drink in the area. It was absolutely worth the wait and the almost 40 minute drive for us. The service (our waiter was Emily) was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks and the food are on another level. Every single bite and sip you take is an experience in itself. The explosion of flavours and the attention to detail on every single dish and drink is amazing and hard to find in Tucson. 5 stars all the way!

Nice atmosphere. Enchiladas were decent, but the birria filling inside them wasn’t too flavorful to be honest. A little pricey~ The shrimp on bed of rice are pretty good, just very heavy in the breading, salsas are great! Overall I’d be back to try different things maybe.

We visited La Frida Mexican Restaurant in East Tucson as vegan/vegetarian diners and found three wonderful options: the Jackfruit Veggie Tacos, the Catrina Tacos, and the Street Corn. We started by sharing the street corn and loved every bite, then tried one of each taco - both were flavorful and beautifully prepared. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The only downside was the wait time and limited parking(at that time). Even on a weekday lunch visit, we had to wait a bit since the restaurant is small and they currently don’t take reservations. That said, the food and drinks are absolutely worth the wait. You can really taste the love and attention to detail in every dish. We drove all the way from the NW side and are already looking forward to coming back soon!

The food and atmosphere was amazing. The staff is top tier though. It was the best part of the visit. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. Emily was so sweet and made so many great recommendations. We will be coming back for sure. Bring your friends and family!

Foods is wicked awesome!!! Atmosphere is casual friendly but certainly sophisticated. Staff (for us, he is Fernando) are nice and knowledgeable. Tables lay out is spacious. Only one challenge might be finding a parking spot.

I am in town visiting a friend and she brought me here for lunch to celebrate my birthday and everything was AMAZING! The mole sauce on the enchiladas is the best I’ve had. Our server Fernando was awesome and came by often to check on us, the food was delicious, and their birthday dessert was amazing! Will definitely be back.
