El Camion La Fritanga - Review - Toronto - The Infatuation
"This Toronto food truck, found all over town (check their Instagram for their daily location), specializes in Dominican cuisine.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
Best authentic nicaraguan food. Aaron and Jazmine were outstanding! Friendly and corteous service. Doña Norma is a great chef and indulged us with the iconic Fritanga mixta, picos, cajeta de leche y cosa de horno. You can choose 1 or 2 meats. Generous portions, fair price. Place is clean an neat. Great location (we drove 25 minutes from Las Vegas Strip). We followed Norma Ramírez in Instagram and exceed our expectations. You must visit!

Authentic Nicaraguan food. Doña Norma is truly the best chef! Aaron and Jazmin provided amazing service as well. We were visiting from Florida and made it a must to stop by and meet Doña Norma, whom we’ve been following on Facebook for a while. We couldn’t leave Vegas without coming. The cacao and the fritanga mixta (beef and pork) were absolutely delicious and tasted just like home. So proud to support our Nica roots, highly recommend this spot! 🇳🇮❤️

This Nicaraguan plate was absolutely amazing! The grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy, the fried cheese was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the sweet plantain added the perfect touch. The gallo pinto was full of flavor, and the fresh cabbage salad balanced everything so well. Every bite felt authentic and homemade. Highly recommend if you want to experience real Nicaraguan flavors! Gracias Doña Norma Ramirez!

Provided great service, especially after arriving before open hours. The food was delicious and brought back memories of home cooked meals from Nicaragua. As people kept arriving, they kept attending them. Will definitely be back again to taste other dishes

Just ate there! Had an amazing experience. Jasmine was our server. She was so sweet and made great suggestions. We are from Miami so we are not new to enjoying amazing food. It was nice to find great fritanga food while on Vacation in Vegas.

Incredible service. Even more incredible food. We are from Honduras and it's hard to find authentic homemade style Honduran food in Vegas...this is a GEM! Not to mention, the resturaunt was actually well kept, beautiful, and welcoming unlike other central American restaurants in Vegas. Loved it and will be coming back!

Yelp
Had lunch with the family here yesterday and we'll be back! We ordered the Parrillada, it came with sweet plantains, roasted chicken, pork meat (delicious), beef, Nicaraguan gallo pinto, fried cheese, Cole slaw, a Nicaraguan taco, and enchilada, and a ton of plantain chips. Our plate was huge, it feeds a party of 4 easily! Everything was absolutely delicious!! The service was great and friendly. Loved it! 5 out of 5!!

Yelp
My family and I decided to check this place out as a I was craving Cacao and Buñuelos. Once we arrived we were warmly greeted by our server who sat us (party of 6) at a table and took our drink orders. They have typical Nica drinks, Toña beer, Chia, Chicha, Sebada and Cacao. They also carry Cola Champagne. We ordered the Parrillada to share - this comes with cuts of Carne Asada, Charbroiled Pork, Chicken, Fried Sweet Plantains, Crispy Plantains, Fried Cheese a HUGE Nica Enchilada and Gallo Pinto. Everything on the Parrillada was very tasty and cooked just right. I also ordered the Quesillo- fresh chewy cheese stuffed into a fresh made tortilla with pickled onions and covered in a very light sour cream. Pickled cheesy goodness overload! This was a shareable item as well. I also wanted to try the Nacatamal which is a bigger, softer masa version of a tamale. This was delicious, with generous portions of pork and rice- wished it had more potato but still very good. The flavors of the masa were light and blended well with the seasoned pork. To go we ordered a Cacao and the buñuelos for the road. The buñuelos were bomb.com as well as the cacao. Really brought back memories. This place exceeds in hospitality as well as portions. The place was a good busy which was nice to see upon entering. Definitely will come back. Sorry for the lack of pics...too busy eating.

Yelp
There are several Nicaraguan restaurants around the Las Vegas area. I'm pretty sure I've tried them all. This is the best one. Thanks for lunch today.
