"This white tablecloth, fine dining restaurant in the country’s capital. Headed by Chef Alejandra Girón, who trained at Institut Paul Bocuse in France, the menu is informed by her stint in that country, as well as stages and jobs at renowned restaurants in Spain and Australia . Dishes include rabbit, veal, and tongue entrées, and a wine list that’s fairly extensive for this region."

Everything we had was good. Tuna tartare, fried calamari, lamb ribs, duck, and the cheesecake! I liked the duck more than the lamb ribs. The duck’s pineapple sauce was very good. L

Mediocre and overpriced food. I tried the $29 "wagyu" bolognese and it was a HUGE dissapointment. Runny sauce, bland unseasoned meat and below average pasta. They overcharge for bread which should be a courtesy and $8 for house water. An absolute rippoff. The service was great but 100% NOT WORTH IT. The risotto was OK and the lime dessert as well. Al Pomodoro, Monterroso, and Cacio e Pepe are all much better options. The quality of the food was below average, nothing high end here.

another great dining experience in El Salvador, beyond our expectations, a small restaurant which I found on OpenTable everyone was extremely helpful and friendly even that we didn’t speak Spanish. Even the chef came out and couldn’t have been nicer helping us understand the menu, which I must say was exceptional. I had the salmon which was delicious, the potatoes, delicious seafood pasta, outstanding nice quality of seafood, the fillet was excellent, the pear salad was delicious and the tuna tartar was also excellent and the wine was Argentina and delicious service was impeccable. In fact, even after the dinner, the chef sent us a complementary piece of the most delicious orange cake with olive oil, one of my favorites. this is a restaurant if you’re in El Salvador, lucky for us we were in the area where we could walk. It’s definitely worth your effort to get there.

Fantastic all around! Sat outside while we enjoyed a culinary experience. The cheese and meat board was delicious, as was the seafood risotto and gnocchi.

Exceptional meal and restaurant! Centrally located in El Salvador, amazing quality food and super reasonable prices compared to the quality of food. In my travels, this meal was on pair with places I’ve eaten at with Michelin stars in NYC, Paris, and London, for a fraction of the cost. The team is great (albeit almost entirely Spanish speaking, which is fine) and knowledgeable, super professional. Highly recommend for anyone who loves high quality food visiting El Sal.

Second visit, yet first review. Long review ahead: Let me start this off by saying, you can complain about the prices all you want, but you get what you pay for. In this very rare case, in El Salvador, you are basically paying for excellence. We visited on a Chef's Table night (the chef is amazing not only with the food but with customer interaction) Being that it was our second visit we knew what to expect, amazing food, amazing service, and yes, high prices. There are a few other restaurants in this country that do what this one does. Some may make similar dishes, but not at the level achieved at this restaurant. The staff is the kind that goes above and beyond for your every need, the chef visited our table with each course and before and after the menu was served. Multiple times. The restaurant is small which provides for personal interaction with the wait staff and in this case the chef. After reading some of the reviews, most of the complaints refer to the prices. This restaurant is definitely not for everyone. But don't let that stop you from checking and attempting to visit. It's not a once a month kind of thing, but it's very special. If you are staying at the hotels in the area and have some extra money to spend on a higher class meal. Definitely pay them a visit. Overall a 10 out of 10. Chef, continue the amazing work. Hats off to you and your team.

Absolutamente encantada. I spent my 21st birthday dinner with my family here and I don’t even have the words to describe how satisfied we were. 10/10 from me

Great ambiance and top notch service! One of the best restaurants in El Salvador. Definitely recommend for family reunions, work meeting lunchs and romantic date nights. The food is amazing! I recommend the Annatto Shrimp, which is an award winning dish, also the Beef Carpaccio and Pear Carpaccio. My favorite dessert is the Chocolate Cake with blackberry coulis and vanilla ice cream. Their Signature Mixology is very good! They use premium liquor brands. My favorite drink is the Grand Margarita and the Mezcal Mule. Also, their wine selection is very wide. 5 stars all the way!
